Proposal to the UTMV Community to Revitalize the Fandom: On February 12, 2016, Muffet's Love Ball RP was hosted. This was a huge step for the UTMV Community. In modern times, the amount of UTMV content has started to slow down. I believe that if we do a similar event, we can create a surge in the UTMV community and bring back a lot of activity. That's why I'm proposing that we create another Love Ball-type roleplay event on February 12, 2026, the 10th anniversary of Love Ball. I don't have any of the specifics thought out or planned, but I'm willing to put in the effort to create such an experience if y'all are willing to help out and participate in it. The name is subject to change, but I'll call it "The Violet Banquet" for now. Proposal to the UTMV Community to Revitalize the Fandom:

On February 12, 2016, Muffet's Love Ball RP was hosted. This was a huge step for the UTMV Community.

In modern times, the amount of UTMV content has started to slow down. I believe that if we do a similar event, we can create a surge in the UTMV community and bring back a lot of activity.

We have organized "The Violet Banquet," a spiritual successor to Muffet's Love Ball that aims to revitalize the server.

The First Violet Banquet will be held on the 9th anniversary of Love-Ball from February 12, 2025 (12AM EST) to February 16, 2025 (11:59 PM). We will then host another Violet Banquet, learning from our previous run, on the 10th anniversary (February 12, 2026), pulling all the stops to create a truly sans-ational event.

Please, follow the official tumblr, join the Discord server, and spread the word about the event! We need all the help we can get!

Our Discord Server is already active and we already have people rping, though not in the main event as of yet. In addition, we will be hosting various events and art contests, and some winners may be featured during the event.

Thank you for your time. We hope to see you both in 2025 and in 2026!

The Violet Banquet Discord Server is going to have RP Event for a few days in a row with a huge community of people. It's gonna be hosted on Discord. People can play as their OCs, and when we get closer to the event we'll open auditions for major characters

in 2025 it'll be from February 12 (Midnight UTC-5) to February 16 (11:59 PM UTC-5). This will be a sort-of practice run, mainly so we can see what we'd need to change for our 2026 event, but we'd love to have you on for both runs.

we've got 144 people on the server currently (not counting bots) so it's a decent size considering its been active for like 20 days.

I came up with the idea for the Violet Banquet like yesterday and already I've gotten a lot of activity.

I think the Violet Banquet will be happening. But I need your help, because there's no way I can organize this on my own.

Last night I set up a Discord Server for the Violet Banquet. Since the current plan is to do this event on a Discord Server, the actual server I have is kinda lackluster. When I say lackluster I mean that as of the time of writing, I don't even have a reaction-roles set up yet.

If anyone would be willing to help set this up, I would be so, so glad.

Okay I'm looking trough all those screenshots and I'm sorry but.

They make you look like a huge asshole? I'm not sure if the ones in th reblogs are snippets of the conversation that were specifically picked out to make you look bad but I have to be honest. I'm not really seeing anything that falls in line with what you are saying? From what I can see from the screenshots you seem to have been kicked because you wanted to allow content that the rest of the mod team was against(and if what those people are saying is correct then for good reason.) And instead of accepting that the clear majority of the team had decided against it you proceeded to keep arguing?

Also those images of 'I'm a minor and neurodivergent' really don't help you look like the better side here. It honestly just makes it seems like you don't have any valid arguments. I don't see any harassment at all in these screenshots. Maybe at most some messages that were worded rather rudely but compared to how you were writing your messages it just seems like that is because it was a full-blown argument and emotions were high.

I just really cannot see any reason to believe you were in the right here?

I might be missing some important context tho, I don't have a discord so I'm not in the server.

and no I was kicked because I said that banning content based on their preferences wasn't exactly a good idea since it wasn't based on anyone's safety but what they personally liked or didn't. Which doesn't really help anyone other than them.

...Yeah, I caved at the event. The Archivist herself made a few guest appearances at the Violet Banquet, so I guess that means this would be a good time to reveal this piece of concept art I'd been holding onto.
