I think the funniest part of Orochimaru's character is that he desperately wants to be in any kind of genre except ninjas
Like, don't get me wrong, he's an incredibly competent ninja, but he seems to love doing everything except being a ninja more
He's the closest thing the series has to an actual wizard. While everyone else is throwing fireballs around and calling it a day, he's just casually raising the dead and deleting people from existence
When he's not doing that he's doing actual sci-fi shit like cloning and gene splicing
and in his spare time he's doing slice of life shit as simultaneously the most and least gendered person in Konoha. Look at this war criminal raise his 50 clone monstrosities alongside his husband that runs the local orphanage(seriously, who gave him that job?)

Can't possibly be me Zenosposting again - what is this a day ending in Y?
Anyway, I've been thinking about the murder boy again. This has mostly spawned from my replaying of the Stormblood patches and seeing Amnesiac Yotsuyu, which sparked a bit of a Nature vs Nuture debate between me and my friends.
Basically, my question for this post is "How much of Zenos' whole deal is Nature (aka He was just born like that) and how much of it is Nuture (aka the enviornment he grew up). Some of you might content to say Nature and leave it at that, which is a completely valid outlook to have. But for me there's just one... teeny... tiny... little detail that has sent me on a wild consipriacy theory of a ride that's resulted in this post. Emet-FUCKING-Selch.
Tumblr media
Listen to me, listen okay? I cannot, CANNOT ignore the fact that this absoulete motherfucker (affectionate) is Zenos's cannonical Great Grandfather. Who was very much alive and kicking during his childhood. Emet-Selch or Solus zos Galvus whatever moniker you wanna give the man, is an Ascian. One of THE Ascians. Not only that, he's 'The Architect" the guy who's job it is to design and engineer the calamities meant to rejoin the Shards of the World back together again. What does he do to achieve this? He builds empires, he starts wars, manipulates people and situations to result in untold elemental chaos. Iirc correctly he's responsible for causing all eight calamities that have occured so far in FFXIV. (Eight got undone but I'm still counting it).
Now for this post I'm going to be focusing mainly on the Seventh, Eighth, and Fourth Umbral Calamities. (Which are the ones coincidentally we're told the most about in game). This Calamities all involved Empires. The Allagan and the Garlean, both of which Emet-Selch was responsible for creating. From the Allagans we have the creation of Dalamud, Cyrus Tower, and the Ultima Weapon. As well as an extensive history of biological research. Cloning, Gene Splicing, Mutation and so on. (A sundered mortal's attempts at creation magjicks perhaps?) The Garleans too, have a notible history of biological research, they draw a lot of their modern technology from Allagan design. No coincidence there given Emet-Selch's involvement. But we've seen them use genetic mutation, cyber augmentation, and cloning (Emet-Selch's shadow the hedgehog ass clone bodies because he refuses to look like anyone other than his unsundered self). The also so a lot of research into the Echo. Hydalyn's mark for her champions, and soul maipulation. (Ala Mihgo Dungeon and In From the Cold Duty both points of note for examples of the Soul being manipulated here - physically torn out of the body).
"Now Gengar " - I hear you ask - "What does this have to do with Nature vs Nuture or Zenos?" Well, I tell you, everything really. Hear me out. Emet-Selch designed the Garlean Empire to be the perfect chaos causing conquest force. They have no ability to use either, making them initially vulnerable as a people to the rest of the races. Building up a tasty, tasty resentment and need to feel superior. He sent them marching to 'reclaim their home' and then to 'unify the three contents under their superior peaceful, organised leadership'. The 'Savage Races' summon evil primals and weild evil distructive magjiks. He gave them a perfect cause and reason to hate everyone else. He gave them magitech to level the field and make them supieror at combat. Garlemald as a nation is the perfect war machine. Allagan 2.0 if you would. And Zenos is the perfect 'Champion' to lead that nation into battle. To spark that next Calamity. Look at the guy. Garleans might be on the taller side (depending on the character. Cid is a shorty), but Varis and Zenos are HUGE. Emet-Selch isn't nearly as tall as either of them despite being a blood relation. Which makes me think there was some of that Allagan/Garlean/Ancient playing with genetics and form at work. Make them bigger, more durable, stronger, more intelligent.
It's like Captian America. You want the perfect solider. And a perfect solider for Emet-Selch would also need to be cold, ruthless, manipulative.
There was a post I saw a while again about Mecha Pilots. And OP pondered on the idea of physcially having your brain and body contiditoned to love battle. To love destruction and killing and fighting.
Do you see where I am going with this?
You want someone bloodthirsty enough to cause a Calamity for you, you need them to feel nothing for their fellow man. (Insects all of them. Disappointing. Found Wanting.) You need them to find such overwhelming joy in battle that no other earthely pleasure can compare to it. (Brilliant. Blinding. Trandsenant Moment.)
No attatchments. No emotions, Just violence. I offer to you dear readers, that Emet-Selch carefully modified Zenos' litterally brain chemistry. Making him predisposed to a lack of empathy and his brain releasing those pesky joyous chemicals during battle. Inflicitng and feeling pain. I offer the theory that Zenos has literally been built for combat. If you cut him open, his bones and muscles and organs would be so alienly perfect. Denser, perfectly optimised. Exceedingly perfect. His brain remapped for pattern recognistion and quick skill building, Easy to train in the art of slaughter and tactics. Unable to forge the emotional connections that would only serve to hinder him. (To isolate him from family).
What evidence to I have? Outside of Emet-Selch's known history of building Empires? Easy. I already know he's done this kind of thing before.
Tumblr media
Vauthry. The baby Emet-Selch mutated into half a Lightwarden. Able to command the Sin Eaters and ensured would be raised into a tyranically, childish, king. To keep the First from Uniting. To ensure the Eighth Umbral Calamity would continue along it's march to completion.
Why wouldn't Emet-Selch have done as much to Zenos too?

How about the tfp decepticons reacting to the sparkling blobs ?
Megatron is... relieved, in a sense. Despite everything he's done, what he's become, he's not completely heartless and he's been worried about the future of the cybertronians. But here, in his hand, are the next generation. Cybertron's legacy will go on. It's a relief to know that his generation won't be the last. At the same time, he's completely at a loss with how to deal with the sparklings. He's not soft or nurturing so he decided to leave the caretaking to others. He will visit and impart his wisdom to the little ones from time to time but generally he'll stay away.
Starscream's first reaction is panic. Sparklings are small, fragile and totally defenseless. As much as he enjoys feeling superior to others, he's suddenly so hyperaware about how... pointy he is. He feels awkward around the sparklings, small and incapable of reason or to be negotiated with. Yet he can't help but care for them. Not that he would ever admit that. Will sneakily look out for them and loudly criticize anyone who doesn't meet his standards. Pretends to hate them but doesn't.
While generally viewed as emotionless, it's clear to everyone that Soundwave enjoys the presence of the little ones. He plays calming music for them along with recorded fairy tales (both human and cybertronian) and uses his visor to entertain them. He's sure in his movements, how he handles them and would never, ever hurt them, even by mistake. Loves to hold the sparklings and it's hard for anyone to get him to hand them over, even Megatron if he asks to.
As the only real medic on the Nemesis, Knockout is forcefully given the position of main caretaker. Soundwave was the first choice but due to his heavy work load (as if Knockout has it any easier) he was ultimately not picked for the task. Now, Knockout don't dislike sparklings, it's just that they are quite messy. And loud. And fussy. And he doesn't deal well with any of that. Still, he will take care of them and he does genuinely care for their wellbeing but feels completely lost when they start to cry. Please, someone help him.
Completely enamored by the sparklings, Breakdown is one of the best caretakers on the ship. He's loves to play with them, from peek-a-boo to reading out loud. Gets so invested in taking care of them that he momentarily forgets that he's a decepticon and that there's still a war going on. Likes to receive updates about them while he's on the field and will bring random things he found for them (he steals toys from human stores and yards).
Now, Shockwave technically knows how to raise a sparkling. Key word here is technically because while he knows what they need, when it comes to practical application of this knowledge he's completely useless. Tries to teach them science, despite their young age, but they all just end falling asleep listening to him droning on about gene splicing. Tries his best though and does want the sparklings to be happy. Just... don't touch his lab equipment.
Dreadwing will kill for these sparklings. This is not an exaggeration. They are the future of Cybertron, young sparks uncorrupted by war and death and he genuinely finds them to be absolutely spectacular. Endlessly patient with them and is very gentle when he handles them. When taking care of them he mostly spends the time telling old tales of Cybertron, most of them about heroic warriors and epic battles.
Who the fuck allowed Airachnid to interact with the sparklings? In fact, who allowed her to even get within a hundred yards of them? She's a bad influence and if she were to act as a caretaker then undoubtedly some of them would die and she wouldn't even feel bad about it. She would just call it "survival of the fittest". She wants to raise them into becoming her loyal little minions. She would show them actual snuff films.

I am doing a Guild Wars 2 themed Drawtober this year based on @enkinaru 's suggestion. Prompts were created by @pumpkinlollipop Today's prompt is "Just a bite" which is something my science experiment asura gone wrong would ask his girlfriend as a joke. He's spliced his own genes with that of a Vampire Beast so sometimes his craving is very real! But he'd never turn those teeth on the love of his life.

So I have a lot of ideas and most of them are game crossovers
one of the ones im currently focusing on is subnautica/life series smp cause i love subnautica but i hate below zero. thats a different subject, anyway-
the idea i had focuses on jimmy as the main character trying to survive in the first game but the other lifers are (basically) mermaid versions of the resident fishies. not *actual* mermaids, mind you - the architects visited earth presumably for war reasons and not much else - but there was a lot of genetic manipulation they did on that planet. Its not a far reach to think they would have tried splicing the emperors genes with other creatures to get enzyme 42 in a more manageable, easier generator that has an easier time making babies.
ergo, sea emperor hybrids that can 'talk' and have cultures of their own based on the other half of their bits. Mermaids! (really alien mermaids!) I'd imagine them to have technology and languages and dialects of their own as well based on where they live. Its a fun idea to explore.

"Shanghaied into nano-devolutionary journey, Blood Electric junkies become the theatre of quantum war of genes, metaphysically manipulated by unthinkable carnage of sodomite rape virus that splices into our species’ code matrix mesh and disgracefully rapes it into catastrophic cellular zombie extermination. Designed for the dubious purpose of intoxicating pleasure pulling towards self-destruction, Blood Electric biotechnology is produced exclusively by Sato Corporation automatons. The intended effect is textual overdose." - Dr Piotr Bockowski

A snip, a splice : Power of rDNA Technology
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), the blueprint of life, holds the secrets to the intricate workings of every living organism. But what if we could manipulate this blueprint, adding, removing, or tweaking its code? This revolutionary concept forms the core of recombinant DNA (rDNA) technology, a powerful tool that has transformed biology and medicine.
The story starts in the early 1970s with two brilliant scientists; Stanley Cohen at Stanford University and Herbert Boyer at the University of California, San Francisco. Cohen, a microbiologist, had been studying plasmids – small circular DNA molecules found in bacteria. Boyer, a biochemist, was an expert on restriction enzymes – molecular scissors that could cut DNA at specific sequences. Their collaboration proved groundbreaking. They envisioned combining these tools to create the first ever recombinant DNA molecule. Cohen provided the plasmids, which would act as vectors to carry foreign DNA into host cells. Boyer, on the other hand, used restriction enzymes to cut both the plasmid and the desired foreign DNA, allowing them to be pieced together. Through meticulous experimentation, they successfully created the first recombinant DNA molecule, forever altering the course of biology.
Cohen and Boyer's work wouldn't have been possible without the earlier discoveries of restriction enzymes. These "molecular scissors" were independently identified by three separate research groups in the 1960s. Werner Arber in Switzerland, along with Hamilton Smith and Daniel Nathans in the US, unraveled the role of restriction enzymes in bacterial defense mechanisms. These enzymes helped bacteria defend against invading viruses by cutting up their foreign DNA. Recognizing the potential of these "genetic scalpels," the groundwork was laid for their application in rDNA technology.
Here's a simplified breakdown of the rDNA process:
Isolation of DNA: The journey starts with isolating DNA from a donor organism.
Cleavage with Restriction Enzymes: Specific enzymes cut the DNA at defined sequences.
Selection of Vector: A carrier molecule (often a plasmid) is chosen to transport the recombinant DNA.
Ligation: The DNA fragments and vector are stitched together using DNA ligase, an enzyme.
Transformation: The recombinant DNA enters a host cell (usually bacteria or yeast).
Selection and Expression: The transformed cells are selected, and the gene of interest is expressed, leading to the desired protein production.
Since its inception, rDNA technology has played a pivotal role in several groundbreaking advancements. Let's take a whirlwind tour through some of the most significant moments in R-DNA history:
1978: Birth of Insulin on the Factory Floor: Scientists achieved a feat of genetic engineering by using R-DNA to produce human insulin in bacteria. This marked a turning point for diabetics, offering a readily available and more consistent source of this life-saving hormone.
1980s: Gene Wars and the Rise of GMOs: The 1980s saw the development of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Plants were engineered with genes for insect resistance or herbicide tolerance, sparking debates about the safety and ethics of this technology. R-DNA research continues to be at the forefront of discussions regarding genetically modified foods.
1990s: The Human Genome Project Sets Sail: This ambitious international project aimed to sequence the entire human genome. R-DNA techniques played a crucial role in deciphering the 3 billion letters of our genetic code, opening doors for personalized medicine and a deeper understanding of human health and disease.
2000s: Gene Therapy Takes Center Stage: The first successful gene therapy trials for inherited diseases like severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) took place. R-DNA technology offered a glimmer of hope for treating genetic disorders by introducing healthy genes to replace defective ones.
2010s and Beyond: CRISPR Takes Over: The emergence of CRISPR-Cas9, a revolutionary gene editing tool based on R-DNA principles, has ushered in a new era of genetic manipulation. With unprecedented precision, scientists can now edit genes in various organisms, holding immense potential for gene therapy, crop improvement, and even the eradication of diseases.
But with great power comes great responsibility, and R-DNA raises a host of ethical concerns.Tinkering with the building blocks of life carries the risk of unintended consequences. Engineered genes could escape and disrupt ecosystems, or modified organisms could have unforeseen health effects. The ability to edit human genes opens the door to designer babies, raising questions about social equity and the potential misuse of the technology for eugenics.
Who Controls the Tools? Access to R-DNA technology could be restricted to wealthy nations or corporations, exacerbating existing inequalities. Biosecurity is also a concern, as the technology could be misused for bioterrorism. Creating entirely new organisms forces us to confront what it means to be "natural." Should we modify plants and animals for human benefit, or preserve their original forms? R-DNA technology is a powerful tool, and we must have open discussions about its ethical implications. Scientists, policymakers, and the public all need to be involved in shaping the future of this technology. As we move forward, open dialogue and collaboration between scientists, policymakers, and the public are crucial to ensure the safe and ethical application of this powerful technology.
The journey of rDNA technology is a testament to human ingenuity and its potential to reshape our world. From decoding the secrets of life to creating solutions for healthcare, agriculture, and beyond, rDNA technology continues to evolve, promising a future filled with exciting possibilities.

Change is coming, praise the coming sparks, welcome them into your hearts yet take heed for you may burn when confronted by their flames
In Gatali, siblings Ardere and Fuligo have lived in the ruins all their lives, but both have felt their dreams pulling them towards the Strath, the places where the Kingdoms live. The occupants, that many in the Ruins hated due to the War between the neighbors. But soon those pulls became too strong and soon both them deep into many things, danger and turmoil around many corners.
Fumo had a good life in her honest option even if she didn't feel satisfied or whole. But then one day, a cat by the name of Locustpaw, who boasted stories of his heroism and bravery, a life that she had only lived in her dreams.
Sasha feels alone, after her twoleg had stop moving she had no choice but to leave the only place she called home. Though she didn't make it far until she was snatched up by this group that calls themselves The Sun Swallower, who are trying to strip everything that makes her, her dreams that promise her a better life makes her steel her heart to try and find a way to escape.
These four cats, in ways different from each other, will answer the call, the pull. They will embrace their new homes, learning from them, gaining new friends and families, challenges from all sides, from bullies, harsh weather and even death. ~~~~~ Drawing massive inspiration from many other fanworks such as @strelles-universe, @cats-of-eden-valley, @oldfacesnewdawnoffical, @shatteredpaths, @aiilurociide, @bonefall and the @the-world-of-ignavus alongside with works such as Guardians of Gahoole, Puss in Boots, Bioshock, Cult of the Lamb, this is the Determined Sparks Au… a kinda fix it fic kinda not of the first arc of Warriors. This Au takes place in a post apocalyspe world where thanks to the humans, dogs, cats, and rats have been mutated due to gene splicing. Humans still exist, but they too have been mutated, gene splicing their own dna, but they are not the main focus. I'm not going to erase all the bad stuff that warriors cats did but I hope that I can acknowledge it in a better narrative. Thank you all for the mention above for giving me so much inspirataion and I hope you all enjoy when I finally get this stuff written down.

War Form, Inf-Regen and Weremoths. Why did they not crop up during the Last Great Time War but do during the War? Also what interesting biology facts about them can you tell us?
What are Regen-Infs, Weurmoths, and War Forms?
🔫 Regen-Inf: These are biologically altered soldiers of lesser species, designed to serve in the War in Heaven. They're armed with built-in weaponry and have the ability to regenerate. Their mental makeup is also altered for war-readiness, complete with time-awareness and self-destruct protocols.
🐘 Weurmoths: Weurmoths are specialised Regen-Inf, engineered to act as field carriers for other troops. Picture a humanoid the size of an elephant that went to military school and got decked out with heavy artillery. That's a Weurmoth for you. They're big, they're loaded, but they're also unwieldy due to some laws of physics they can't ignore.
👾 War Forms: War Forms are the stuff of nightmares, engineered to look like monsters. They represent the far edge of Gallifreyan military adaptations, offering both terror and functionality in one monstrous package.
Why didn't Regen-Infs, Weurmoths, and War Forms appear in the Last Great Time War?
Well, it's anyone's guess, but here are some ideas:
Theory 1 - Ethical and Temporal Constraints: Maybe the Time Lords had moral and temporal reservations, leading them to sideline these war assets.
Theory 2 - Resource Allocation: Creating these bio-engineered warriors might have been like constructing a Rolls-Royce for every soldier - impressive but impractical and far too resource-intensive for a war that was already draining Gallifrey's reserves.
Theory 3 - Strategic Focus: The Last Great Time War possibly focused more on tried-and-true tactics at times. Perhaps the Time Lords were too busy using the old playbook.
Theory 4 - High Risks: The self-destructive and highly unstable nature of these beings could have been considered too risky to deploy in a war of such high stakes.
What are some interesting biology facts about Regen-Infs, Weurmoths, and War Forms?
🔫 Regen-Infs
High-Tech Scar Tissue: The 'scar tissue' is an organic blend of biological matter and technology. Maybe they have cells that function like nanobots + nanogenes combined, repairing and upgrading armour in real-time during combat, so every time it's hit, it grows back stronger and instantly.
Dimensional Brain Structures: Their brains are altered to have a level of 'dimensional extrusion,' enabling them to perceive time differently, an invaluable asset in war. This is likely to be a neural network that can process multiple timelines, just like Gallifreyans.
Biochemical Self-Destruct: Should a Regen-Inf soldier find themselves in a compromising position, their bio-engineered physiology can enact a self-destruct sequence. This is likely controlled by a biochemical trigger that induces an instantaneous catastrophic cellular breakdown.
Genetic Splicing: In some cases, the genes from these soldiers can interact with other species, as evidenced by Timon, born to a Regen-Inf and a human. This would involve a sort of gene editing on the fly, causing some … unexpected results.
🐘 Weurmoths
Size vs. Stability: Due to their enormous size, they likely possess specialised skeletal and muscular systems to support their mass. This could involve a lattice structure of incredibly dense but lightweight material, bio-engineered for maximum efficiency.
Firepower and Energy Consumption: Housing the firepower of a battalion means that their cells are likely akin to miniature reactors capable of generating immense amounts of energy. Their metabolism would need to be highly efficient, possibly extracting energy from unconventional sources.
Physical Instability: Maintaining bodily functions and actual movement at such a large size becomes increasingly unstable. They might have multiple redundant systems to manage this, including 'backup' organs and decentralised neural networks.
👾 War Forms
Adaptive Physiology: Their bodies could possess some sort of 'adaptive biology,' where their cellular structure can morph in real-time to counter threats. Think of it as an immune system on steroids, capable of changing the physical attributes of the entity to best handle the immediate threat.
Monstrous Design: The 'monstrous' appearance is not just for show; each aspect of their form could be engineered for a specific function. Spines might serve as both armour and weapon, while multiple limbs could offer greater dexterity and manoeuvrability.
Neurological Networks: Given that they are indistinguishable from monsters, their brain structure might be an intricate mesh of networks capable of running multiple operations at the same time. It's feasible that they could operate autonomously or in a hive-mind setting for coordinated attacks.
Genetic Backdoors: It would be reasonable to assume that they contain 'genetic backdoors,' allowing them to be controlled or disabled if they ever go off-script.
🏫 So ...
The biology of these war-time entities isn't just about splicing genes or grafting weapons onto flesh. It's about crafting organisms specifically designed for the horrors and complexities of multi-dimensional warfare. It's about crossing lines that are not just ethical, but also biological and even temporal, to create entities that are truly abominations of science.
On a lighter note, have a banana.

"Where Art Thou?" A LMK Apocalypse AU.
Tumblr media
So a few weeks ago, I had the grand idea of making a Fallout/Mad Max-themed AU for Monkie Kid. I don't know why I had this idea, I just did.
After developing it for a while with a friend via RP, I think I have a pretty good idea of how I want it to work. Read the main explanation for the AU below!
How Did The World End?
In the year 2085, World War III had begun.
Nobody exactly remembers how it happened, only that tensions rose and the countries, armed with nuclear weapons from the Cold War, started depleting their stocks by using them on each other.
Many cities and countries were hit, but by this point nuclear defenses had been created- and the damage wasn't as bad as it would have been, say, 60 years ago. People survived, and moved on with the war.
The lack of proper fear and high ground prompted many countries to violate the BWC and create biological weapons to wear down the populations of other countries. "Gene bombs" were created, and dropped on major cities. People fled in fear, spreading the contamination and ultimately dooming the fighting forces of each country. Sadly, humanity itself was also doomed because of this.
Super-soldiers and "tube babies" became common, all created in an effort to turn the tides of the war. The most prominent of these programs was Project NUWA, a super-soldier project that tried to force evolution onto human embryos, and Project LOTUS, which attempted to splice human DNA with that of plant genes and create stronger soldiers.
In a last ditch attempt between America, Russia, and China, they fired three thermonuclear warheads at once, which hit and created a massive explosion- the force and heat of which speeding up the melting of the ice caps and casting most of the world in water. Tsunamis and earthquakes destroyed what was left, and people's DNA was so fucked by the prior gene bombs that humanity had practically gone extinct.
In the year 2100, the old world was gone. A new world, the Wastes of Aurala, began to prosper terribly.
So... What Happened After That?
The gene bombs coupled with the leftover radiation from the thermonuclear warheads left the remnants of humanity... fairly dead. Instead of regular old humans, three new variants emerged:
Demons, Dirt-bloods, and Beasts.
Dirt-bloods were humans who just looked... wrong. Eyes too small, mouths curled up just a bit much, fingers elongated and legs backwards. The uncanny valley was strong with these folks, and they gained the name "dirty blooded" in reference to their irradiated genes.
Demons, on the other hand, were humans whose genomes had copied and mutated to resemble that of animals. They typically had beastly features, and were very clearly inhuman. The type of animal they were depended on the person and the area they grew up in.
(Humans miraculously saved from the genome-scratching were referred to as "pure-bloods", due to their genes being unfiltered with radiation or animal DNA. They were unique, regular humans, different in all the perfect ways they needed to be.)
And then there were Beasts. Beasts were people changed too much, losing themselves and turning into feral monsters. It's recommended that you leave these creatures alone- and if you do see one, put it out of its misery. God knows how long they've had to endure hell.
How Did Society Change?
Society changed greatly- television was a commodity for the dreamers, food was dried and served with little fanfare, and clean water was a precious resource only the hardest workers could find and drink.
Most groups devolved into nomadic tribes, full of those who had a fickle reason to survive, and they typically put trust and "pack mentality" first, reasoning that they survived better if together. Survival became the common instinct of everyone on the world's surface, and the idea of procreation was adamant. Marriage was a forgotten concept, people instead "mating" to preserve their remnant generations.
The animal genes also led to a lot of animalistic contest between finding mates. Many, both men and women and non-binary alike, battled for the affections of another.
(Sexuality and gender remained a fluid thing. Same-sex couples weren't uncommon, and asking for one's pronouns had become a form of greeting in this day and age.)
Children were a protected people. Every mating couple was expected to either bear or raise children, in hopes that the remnants of humanity could continue on. For those that were rendered infertile, they typically parented and doted on others in the form of surrogate families, often growing in size and becoming clans.
The idea of continuing what little was left was important. Even the sickest of the sick deserved to survive, if only to carry on the future for a little while.
Wait, What Happened To The Remaining "Pureblood" Humans?
Well, one day, a bunker full of pure humans was discovered, somehow saved from the bombing and radiation. They had been monks, who agreed to meditate in an underground monastery in defiance of being recruited as soldiers. Upon emerging in a distasteful world, many were quickly killed by raiders and cannibals, jealous that they survived the horrors of the war with little conflict.
One monk was rescued, and word got out that he could be used to save humanity- to fix everyone's genes and turn the world back the way it was. The only issue is that the lab with the required material to conduct such an experiment was in what was left of India, and the bunker they had been discovered in was far up by Northern China. The monk, named Sanzang, was ill equipped to handle a journey there.
So, he found some help in the form of an ex-Project NUWA soldier, codenamed "Wukong".
So What Now?
Well, I'll cover where Monkie Kid's cast fits into this in a later post! for now, feel free to read over this one and make your own ideas and theories! Thanks so much for reading this far!

heeeeeeeeeeeeeeey my debut space opera novel is available on kindle unlimited and paperback now! check it out!!!!
Tumblr media
Kalaiapi’s job as a post-human space privateer is hard enough. But when the data drive connected to her brain malfunctions, Kalaiapi suddenly finds herself the potential source of exactly the kind of extinction event she is tasked with preventing.
As the Universe, Predatory Omnia, wages a perpetual war of extinction against the progenasi species, Corsairs are the elite, gene-hacked agents tasked with taking the battle to the enemy; Kalaiapi has 600 years of experience doing just that.

Eyewreck [FICTOID]
The SMS Novara slid along the solid surface of the Lakes of Glass.
Centuries earlier two mighty empires hurled their armies at one another across the trackless Sahara.
Human nature being what it is, things soon escalated.
What once had been sandy impassable desert now became interlinked craters filled with glass.
The ///SMS Novara/// did not look like a conventional ship.  It looked like a giant water-strider bug, only each of its legs ended in thick furry pads of satin.
The satin let the SMS Novara slide across the Lakes of Glass to sub-Sahara Africa, propelled by giant sails spread like wings out the wide.
The crew remained cooped up in the small cabin of the ship, a thick lead floor beneath them to absorb radiation still emitting from the Lakes of Glass.
It took two and twenty days to cross the Lakes of Glass, but at last they reached the fringe of vegetation that marked the beginning of Africa proper.
Once they reached the southernmost portion of the Lakes of Glass, the captain and crew furled their sails then started the mechanism that let the SMS Novara walk further inland.
They came looking for any signs of human life.
Instead, all they found were twisted, burned out cities; skeletal fingers reaching for the sky, unable to escape the grave.
They looked so terrible and tormented and ugly that the crew dubbed them “eyewrecks” and made mystical gestures to ward off any bad luck associated with them.
“Should we turn back?” the crew asked.
“No,” said the captain.  “South.  We must go south.”
Five more days they traveled south.  They came to a point where they knew they could travel no further, that they most conserve what little fuel remained so they could go north, back to the lakes of Glass, and use their sails to take them to the now dead and putrid Mediterranean Sea.
They parked the SMS Novara near one wrecked city.
“We have two months of food left,” said the captain.  “We’ll wait here a month to see if anyone comes to greet us, then we’ll go back.”
At the next full moon, a guard on deck saw something moving among the nearby trees.
A pride of lions emerged, but not like any specimens the crew of the ///SMS Novara/// knew from their books.  There seemed bigger, darker, more majestic.
They approached the SMS Novara and sat in a semi-circle facing it.
“They want to speak to you,” the crew told the captain.  He felt frightened but knew he must go down to them.
“Greetings,” he said when he stood face to face with the leader, a magnificent female.
“Greetings in return,” said the leader.
“You speak our language,” said the captain.
“We do many things,” said the leader.
“We come looking for survivors.”
“We survived.”
“So did we,” said the captain.  He quickly recounted how through a fluke his native country of Austria was spared the worst ravages of the great war, how they gradually rebuilt themselves, and how they now came looking for any place on Earth where more humans might dwell.
“There are no humans here,” said the lioness.
“Forgive me, but if there are no humans, how did you learn to speak?”
“There were humans,” said the lioness.
“Once,” her mate commented ironically.
“They’re gone now.”
“Where?”
“Absorbed,” said the lioness, stretching.  “Unlike your country with its protected valleys, all of Africa became tainted by radiation.  The last humans on the continent saw to it that as many native species as they could save received genetic treatment to make them immune to radiation, then they spliced their genes into our ancestors’ to create…us.”
“That…explains the language,” said the captain.  He stood erect, remembering his mission.  “We want to establish relations with you.  Trade, diplomatic, literary.  We want to help you rebuild this world.”
“Thank you, but no,” said the lioness.  “We are content with this world the way it is.  Leave us in peace, but leave us.
“What do you expect us to do?” said the captain.  “We’ve found no intelligent life elsewhere.”
“Not our problem,” yawned the mate.
The lioness gave him a wry look then said to the captain.  “Do whatever you wish, just don’t do it here.  We come to you in peace because you came to us in peace, but now that you know our mind on this matter, you know any return visit will be viewed as aggression.
“We will not have that.”
The captain bowed his head, knowing what the lioness said to be true,
With what it took for the remnant of Austria to build the SMS Novara, he knew they would be no more ships like her.
The sentient lions of Africa would remain safe and secure.
“What did they say?” the crew asked as he reboarded the SMS Novara.
“She bid us good-bye and wished us a pleasant journey back.”
“Back where?” the crew asked.  “Home?  Or hell?”
“Makes no difference,” said the captain, “they’re one and the same.”

Three Hearts, One Bond (Jake Sully x male reader (omega) x Neytiri)
Before we start i would like to give chat GPT the credit since it made the fan fic I just asked if any has more requests just send a message I might take some time to do it but will eventually.
Summary: As the newest member of the Na'vi tribe, you find yourself drawn to both Jake Sully and Neytiri. But can the three of you navigate the complexities of a triad relationship in a world torn apart by war?
Tumblr media
As a human, you had always been fascinated by the possibility of life on other planets. So when you were given the opportunity to join the Avatar program and travel to Pandora, you jumped at the chance.
It wasn't until after you had arrived on the planet that you discovered something strange about your Avatar body. There had been a mutation in the gene splicing process, and you had unexpectedly lost all pigment in your hair, making you an albino. Additionally, you had realized that you had feelings for Jake Sully, the human-turned-Na'vi who had become a trusted friend and guide.
Tumblr media
During one of your expeditions with Jake, you both stumbled upon Neytiri. As soon as you laid eyes on her, you were struck by her beauty and her fierce spirit. You found yourself drawn to her in a way that you couldn't explain.
Jake noticed your lingering gazes towards Neytiri and confided in you that he too had feelings for her. Surprised and slightly relieved, you confided in him as well, and the two of you bonded over your mutual attraction to her.
But neither of you were willing to jeopardize your friendship over a potential love triangle. That is until one night, after a particularly intense hunt, you and Jake found yourselves alone with Neytiri. The air was thick with tension, and before you knew it, the three of you were kissing each other.
As the kiss deepened, Neytiri pulled away and looked at both of you with a serious expression. "I have feelings for both of you," she admitted. "But I don't want to choose. Can we make this work?"
You and Jake looked at each other, then back at Neytiri, and nodded in agreement. Over the next few weeks, the three of you explored the boundaries of your new relationship, figuring out what worked and what didn't. It was a delicate balance, but you were all in it together.
One night, after a particularly passionate evening, Tsu'tey caught you and the others together. He had always harbored feelings for Neytiri and seeing her with two other partners broke his heart. But even in his sadness, he knew that Neytiri deserved to be happy, and he was happy for her in his own way.
But that happiness was short-lived. During a routine patrol, you were ambushed by a group of Quadrich creatures. You fought bravely, but you were quickly overpowered. You remember feeling the sharp claws of the Quadrich tearing into your flesh, feeling your blood spilling out onto the ground.
As you lay there, feeling the life draining out of you, you thought for sure that this was the end. But then, Neytiri called out to the forest spirits, begging them to save you. And in that moment, you felt a surge of energy coursing through your body, healing your wounds and giving you the strength to fight back.
But the damage had already been done. Your left arm was mangled and bloody, and you were left in excruciating pain. Neytiri and Jake rushed you back to the Hometree, where the healer tried his best to save your arm. But the damage was too severe, and the healer was forced to amputate it.
You were left reeling from the trauma of the attack and the loss of your arm. But Neytiri and Jake were there for you every step of the way, helping you with your recovery and reassuring you that you were still loved and valued.
As you lay there, recovering from your injuries, you felt a deep sense of gratitude and love for both Jake and Neytiri. Despite the challenges and the pain, you knew that you were lucky to have them by your side. And as you looked into their eyes, you knew that they felt the same way about you.
Over the next few weeks, you worked hard to adjust to your new reality. Neytiri and Jake helped you with your physical therapy and supported you emotionally as you processed your trauma. They made sure that you never felt alone or forgotten.
As you grew stronger, you began to participate in more of the tribe's activities. You went on hunts with Jake and Neytiri, you helped with the planting and harvesting of the crops, and you even started to teach some of the younger Na'vi how to read and write in English.
And through it all, your love for Jake and Neytiri only grew stronger. You knew that the three of you had something special, something that was worth fighting for.
One night, as you were lying in bed with Jake and Neytiri, you turned to them and said, "I just want to thank you both for everything you've done for me. I know it hasn't been easy, but I'm so grateful for your love and support."
Neytiri smiled and leaned over to kiss you on the forehead. "We love you, too," she said softly.
Jake wrapped his arm around your shoulders. "You're family now, Omega," he said. "We'll always be here for you."
And as you drifted off to sleep, feeling the warmth of their bodies next to yours, you knew that you had found a home with Jake and Neytiri. A home where you were loved and accepted just the way you were.
..............................................................................................................................
As the days passed, you noticed that your body was changing. Your stomach was growing, and you were feeling more tired than usual. Neytiri recognized the signs immediately and confirmed your suspicions. You were pregnant.
The news filled you with a mix of emotions. You were overjoyed to be carrying Jake and Neytiri's child, but you were also scared. How would you be able to take care of a child with only one arm? And what if something went wrong during the pregnancy?
Jake and Neytiri reassured you that they would be there for you every step of the way. They would help you with anything you needed and make sure that you and the baby were healthy and safe.
But as the pregnancy progressed, you found that simple tasks like cooking and cleaning were becoming more difficult. You struggled to move around and often felt frustrated and helpless.
Jake and Neytiri noticed your struggles and decided to take action. They sat you down on the bed and started to kiss you gently, their hands exploring your body and comforting you. You felt safe and loved in their embrace, and the trembling in your body stopped as you relaxed into their touch.
They whispered words of encouragement and love into your ear, telling you how proud they were of you and how much they loved you. And as they kissed you, you felt a deep sense of connection and intimacy with them, a feeling that made you forget all of your worries and fears.
But despite their love and support, you still struggled with the limitations of your injury. You couldn't participate in some of the activities that you used to love, and you felt like you were missing out on important parts of life in the tribe.
Jake and Neytiri noticed your frustration and started to brainstorm ways to help you. They talked to the other Na'vi and gathered materials to build tools and machines that would make your life easier. And as they worked, they made sure to involve you in the process, teaching you how to use the tools and encouraging you to participate in any way you could.
And as you worked alongside them, feeling their love and support, you realized that you were stronger than you had ever thought possible. With Jake and Neytiri by your side, you knew that you could overcome any obstacle and face any challenge.
..............................................................................................................................
As the time for the baby's birth approached, you started to feel more and more anxious. You were worried about the pain of labor, and you were also concerned about the safety of the baby. But Jake and Neytiri were there to support you, reassuring you that everything would be okay.
One day, while you were out gathering food in the forest, you suddenly felt a sharp pain in your abdomen. The pain was so intense that you fell to the ground, unable to move. You tried to call out for Jake and Neytiri, but your voice was barely a whisper.
You knew something was wrong.
You lay there for what felt like hours, writhing in pain and coughing up blood. You knew that you needed help, but there was no one around. You were alone in the middle of the forest with no one to turn to.
You started to lose consciousness, feeling weak and dizzy. But just as you were about to give up, you saw a figure emerge from the trees. It was Jake, running towards you with Neytiri close behind.
They lifted you gently and carried you back to the village. The baby was coming, and there was no time to waste.
As they laid you down on the bed, you felt a rush of fear and excitement. The pain was almost unbearable, but you knew that the end was in sight. You pushed with all your might, feeling your body tense and strain.
And then, with a final push, the baby emerged into the world. You heard the cries of your child and felt a sense of relief and joy wash over you.
Jake and Neytiri smiled down at you, their faces filled with pride and love. They had helped you through the most difficult moment of your life, and you knew that you would always be grateful to them.
As you held your child for the first time, you knew that your life would never be the same. You had a family now, a family that would love and protect you no matter what. And as you looked into the eyes of your child, you felt a sense of hope and possibility that you had never known before.
..............................................................................................................................
After the birth of your children, life in the Na'vi tribe became more hectic, but also more joyful. You and Jake and Neytiri worked together to raise your children, and they grew up healthy and strong.
Neteyam, the oldest, had already taken on some of the responsibilities of adulthood, hunting and gathering with the other men. Kiri, the adopted child, was a curious and adventurous spirit, always exploring the world around her.
Lo'ak, the middle child, was quiet and introspective, spending much of his time deep in thought. And Tuk, the youngest, was a bundle of energy, always running around and getting into mischief.
But no matter what, all of your children, as well as Jake and Neytiri, were fiercely protective of you. They watched over you constantly, making sure that you were safe and well.
One day, as the family was traveling to the nearby Metkayina clan, you all decided to take a break and go for a swim. But as you were learning to swim, you accidentally brushed up against a sharp piece of coral and were injured.
You tried to hide the injury from your family, not wanting to worry them. But they soon found out and were beside themselves with concern.
Jake and Neytiri were especially worried, taking turns watching over you day and night. Neteyam, Kiri, Lo'ak, and Tuk also did what they could to help, bringing you food and water and keeping you company.
Despite their efforts, you became increasingly weak and sick, coughing up blood and unable to move. It was clear that you needed medical attention, but there was no healer in the Metkayina clan.
Jake and Neytiri made the decision to take you back to the Na'vi tribe, where there was a healer who could treat your injuries. They carried you back to the village, their faces filled with worry and love.
When you arrived back in the village, the healer examined you and determined that your injury was more serious than they had initially thought. But with the help of your family, you were able to make a full recovery.
From that day forward, Jake, Neytiri, and your children were even more protective of you. They knew how fragile life could be, and they made it their mission to keep you safe and happy for as long as possible. And as you watched your family grow and thrive, you knew that you were blessed to have such a loving and caring group of people around you.
..............................................................................................................................
Male reader's injury had healed, but the experience had left him shaken. He had always been cautious, but now he was even more aware of how vulnerable he was in this alien world. He was grateful for the Metkayina clan's hospitality, but he couldn't shake the feeling that danger was always lurking around the corner.
Jake and Neytiri were more protective than ever, and the children were constantly hovering around him. It was both endearing and suffocating, and Male reader found himself yearning for some alone time.
One day, when the children were out playing with the other young Na'vi in the clan, Male reader sneaked away to a secluded spot by the shore. He sat there for a while, just enjoying the sound of the waves and the feeling of the warm sun on his skin.
But his peaceful moment was interrupted when he heard someone approaching. He turned around to see Mo'at, the spiritual leader of the clan, walking towards him.
"May I join you?" she asked, her voice calm and soothing.
Male reader nodded, and Mo'at sat down next to him. They sat in silence for a while, just watching the waves, before Mo'at spoke up.
"You are troubled," she said, more a statement than a question.
Male reader sighed. "I feel like I'm constantly on edge here," he admitted. "I love this world, and I love the people here, but I'm still so afraid."
Mo'at placed a hand on his shoulder. "Fear is natural," she said. "But you cannot let it consume you. You are strong, and you have a family who loves you. You must trust in yourself and in them."
Male reader smiled weakly. "Easier said than done," he said.
Mo'at chuckled softly. "Indeed," she said. "But you must try. You have come so far, and you have so much to look forward to."
Male reader nodded, feeling a bit more at ease. Mo'at was right, he had come a long way since he first arrived on Pandora. He had a family now, and he had found a place where he belonged.
As they sat there, watching the waves, Male reader felt a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that the road ahead would not be easy, but he was ready to face it, with his family by his side.
