when i made the Killer Dolphins post i had this idea that the franchise is specifically a Stilwater homebrew but i didn't remember what i based it on so i didn't include it. but i think it was based on the fact that these statuettes at the marina boardwalk are sold alongside replicas of the lighthouse and the pirate ship restaurant, aka local attractions. it's just smart asset reuse from sr1 but i'd love it if "The Dude" was actually a Stilwaterian and the city is very proud of their funny little schlock dolphins becoming a whole thing
