2. I love that Mr Rochester is like “That french slut cheated on me!” While he’s got his wife with multiple women. Just gotta love those double standard’s 🙄.

However, i would like to point out (because some people forget this) neither Charlotte Brontë nor Jane Eyre condones this behavior. This isn’t “Oh if this was a woman they’d freak” i mean… it is but not exactly. Jane is quite open in her disgust for his lifestyle and (more importantly) HE HIMSELF IS DISGUSTED BY IT and wears to NEVER RETURN to it. So i love Edward.

Also while I’m on this topic I’d like to bring up the quote

And I bring thisnup because so many people attribute it to Jane saying “oh she refuses to be his mistress” and no bruh SHE didn’t have to refuse to BE one because HE refused to MAKE her one. Yall just want any excuse to hate on Rochester and it shows through your blatant misunderstanding of this book.

Also because im on a roll at this point: putting Bertha in the attic was more humane then sending her to an asylum. AND Edward lost his eyes trying to save this woman, who burned down his house and is the reason he can’t marry Jane. And yet he only ever SPEAKS of her harshly. All his ACTIONS are actually incredibly cordial.

Just wanted to say I love your kakagai comics! They make me feel something. Like the way you portray their relationship- it makes me want to love someone that much. It makes me smile. And their poses throughout the comics are so fluid and real! Especially the hand and arm positions. I love the transition between panels. I can imagine the movements like it's a filmed scene from a movie. The facial expressions you draw are amazing! You just capture emotion in the faces and bodies of these characters so well!!! I just feel so much from your art. Angst or fluff- it makes me happy! Thank you for creating these amazing things!! :)

You gotta read and watch some old books and films that aren’t 100% modern politically correct. I’m not saying you should agree with everything in them but you need to learn where genres came from to understand what those genres are doing today and where media deconstructing old tropes is coming from.

The Crows and Their Heights

These headcanons are based on the innerworld appearances of our alters. Feel free to adopt them as your own headcanons if you so wish.

Kaz is 5’11. He will say that he is six feet tall. He is lying.

Jesper is 6’2. Those three inches that he has above Kaz are very important to him.

Inej is 5’1. The top shelf is her enemy.

Nina is 5’10. She will wear tall shoes to make herself taller than Kaz, and proceed to tell people that she’s only 5’10 when standing next to him, thus discrediting his 6’0 lie.

Matthias is 6’4. Despite this fact and the fact that he is made of pure muscle, he is less intimidating than Inej.

Wylan is 5’5. He stands on his tip toes to kiss Jesper, and is often jokingly used as a headrest despite not being that short.

Jordie is 6’6 (in AUs where he lives), making him the tallest Crow and forever driver/passenger princess because his legs are too long to comfortably sit in the backseat.

✨ Bruce Wayne Headcanons that haunt me but I refuse to elaborate on even if they're utterly wrong ✨

1. Bruce can cook, but only when he's 100% focused. If there is anything going on around him like a feral child or he's going over some case in his head then something's catching fire.

2. He definitely was a theatre kid for the shortest span when a teenager. Have you met this man? Are you telling me he's never engaged in a single drama piece in his life? He was raised by literal-Shakespeare-actor Alfred pennyworth? My man Bruce can ACT. All his personas rely on it. So does his undercover work. I like to think he was in a amateur Shakespeare production one time just to surprise and make Alfred happy.

3. Tying in with the acting - Bruce is a master of disguise. With all the languages he speaks, identity shenanigans, cases that need inside info. Bruce can just morph into another person. But his abilities in disguise also means he can mimic people's mannerisms and accents easily. The idea of Bruce confusing the shit out of Clark by just perfectly emulating his country accent and then pretending nothing happened tickles me very much.

4. This idiot tilts his head ever so slightly like a confused dog when being bamboozled. Only People who know him closely recognise this but it's such a minute movement it's easy to miss. Any confusing story, perplexing stupidity or a little sprinkle of disbelief - boom head tilt. God help you if you get the head tilt and batglare combined. You've said the most ungodly, sinful, idiotic, offensive, seizure-inducing idea known to man.

5. He and Diana 100% gossip in other languages when on the watchtower . Both are polylinguals. It's also a learning space. Diana 100% teaches him Ancient Greek, Latin and forgotten languages while Bruce 100% teaches her alien dialects he's mastered.

6. My guy can sing. Ever since that silly lil' justice league episode I can't get this silly lil' headcanon out my head and it makes my lil' toesies curl. Gotham, though a hell scape, is a melting pot of culture and music. Opera, jazz, blues but also a strong underground Punk and techno scene. You'd be hard pressed to avoid music in Gotham. My guy just learned to sing through osmosis. Only a small handful of people know he can sing, though none have admitted that to Bruce.

7. Since this man is a sponge of knowledge, he just drops some of the most jaw-dropping, disturbing and unprompted facts then refuses to elaborate. Oliver Queen is just enjoying his ham sandwich only for "You know studies about cannibals say that human meat tastes very similar to pork." and Oliver is just !?!?!?!!?. The batfam are watching The Matrix and Bruce suddenly "The codes in this film are actually just Sushi recipes." and everyone does a perfect slow swivel to face this engima of a man.

Hey y’all this is just a little note about my Tiresias and Hermes ship drawings!

I was inspired by the idea from @rubypet’s ship and their ship name is actually called ‘Harbringers’, I do have my own ideas and headcanons about this ship so I call them in my tags as ‘Flying snakes’ instead.

(I put both tags so as to reference the idea it was based from)

Anyway, I just would like to share my own personal headcanons and opinions about this ship so if it seems different from @rubypet’s version please don’t come at me. Asks about them are always welcome though :D

me and suguru me and suguru me and suguru... mm maybe it's a few days after our first kiss (which isn't even a proper kiss btw i'll talk abt that soon too dw) and the air between us is just a little weird bc neither of us has yet to bring it up....

and now we haven't seen each other for the whole day too bc we both had stuff to do but. we have this Event in the evening and we're both supposed to attend alongside with satoru and shoko...

suguru's the last to arrive and by that time all three of us are a little tipsy already, laughing loudly at one of the tables together. he sees me throwing my head back, cackling at one of satoru's stupid jokes and suguru pokes the side of his cheek with his tongue. he hasn't seen me in a dress. ever. and now he's forced to take all of that in with the side of me boosting satoru's ego by going along with everything he says.

when he finally joins the table, his hand rests on the backrest of mine, his body towering over me as he teases satoru over smth aaand when i tilt my head back to look at him he glances at me and i die. thank you for listening to my tedtalk. no but yeah i blush and just try to keep my composure bc that shit is embarrassing as fuck he should not be having such an effect on me jfc.

he sits way too close to me too. mind you, we haven't talked properly in like two days. his hand stays behind my back for the rest of the night, his thigh bumping against mine as he manspreads on his seat (😒😒) but the second he sees me roll my shoulders and squeeze my eyes shut, the first signs of me getting tired, he leans closer to, his lips brushing against my ear. "want to go outside, hm?"

shoko gives me an awfully Knowing smirk but i go with him anyway (obviously).

(his hand stays glued to my lower back for the entire time he guides me through the crowd.)

i rest against the wall of the building and he stands in front of me, a few strands of his hair falling from their slicked back place as he places a cig between his lips. he lights it while keeping eye-contact. he's got that grin on his face. i hate it (he looks so fucking good).

he takes a step, now standing tall and proud right there in my own personal space. he's way too close. but it's not like i'd ever push him away. so he stays; inhales the smoke and then exhales it to the side. and then he's raising his hand to me and places the stick between my lips without a word. he watches how i breathe it in in slow motion. he can smell my perfume. i blow the smoke in his face and all he does is stare at me with that look on his face.

"you gonna kiss me again?"

"you want me to?"

i want to punch him.

"oh, fuck off."

he hums, his eyes flicking to my lips when he sees the corners twitching, an annoyed smile threatening to break out.

"you look really pretty... " his words trail off, his eyes heavy as they meet mine.

"yeah?"

"yeah... " his fingertips dance on my waist, treading on thin ice, on the thin fabric of my dress and i just wish i could crack open his head and see what he's thinking about. i swear he's even closer now; i can hear him taking in another puff of the cigarette and i can feel the warmth of his body against mine. i can feel his thigh pressing against mine. "i missed you, you know?"

okay, so i really want to punch him.

"and who's fault is that, hm?"

his grin stretches wider. he likes it when i push back, talk back. fight back. it makes this little game of his even more fun.

but before he can trap me with his sweet, honeyed words, the door slams open and out stumble shoko and satoru, their arms locked as they talk way too loudly. i turn to look at them, suguru doesn't. inhale.

he hums to himself again as he holds back on the urge to push my hair behind my shoulder to expose even more of my skin, his teeth itching at the mere thought.

so my initial theory was that the lightning strike parallel would have Tommy on the crane and that's how we would get some resolution. I really still love that idea (obviously. i wrote it twice.)

however, now (after zooming in on the instagram promo to an obnoxious degree), I'm not as sold on this version. BUT. there's another thing living in my head.

at some point, someone has to ask Buck why they broke up, and we know that we've got him "on a pendulum" with his reaction, and "cracks starting to show".

which brings about my new theory:

I feel like the conversation is ultimately going to happen with Maddie, since she's the Voice of Reason in his life. Maybe it's after he's been baking with Jee-Yun, idk. Anyway, I know the minute he says "I asked him to move in with me", she's gonna have the response of "...and have you figured out if you love him yet? Had you told him that?" which either will bring about his own feelings realization, or (hopefully) he'll have already come to that conclusion. but mostly, I'm imagining Maddie being like "wait, so you told him you wanted to move in together but you hadn't even said I Love You yet?" queue Buck being like "I thought it was in the context" and Maddie going all Big Sister and being like "okay what actually happened?" this then leading to Buck giving her the rundown of what was said, how Tommy told him he would break his heart and Maddie having to be like "well of course he's afraid, blah blah blah" (or some version of that, with the blahs being whatever reason she gives to him that actually makes sense). At which point, we get to the end of this conversation, and Maddie tells him "you need to call him, Evan. you need to be honest about how you really feel."

and what does THAT get us?

see, something occurred to me when I realized this option: the breakup parallels the first date. but the first date isn't the resolution to that episode, nor is it REALLY the start of their relationship. you know what is though?

the coffee date!

which is how we get them back at a cafe, mirroring their conversation about Buck "not being ready" and Tommy telling him he didn't want to pressure him.

To that end, we get the resolutions to those statements in new forms: we get Evan telling Tommy that he's not the guy who didn't know what he was ready for, and that he knows exactly what he wants, which is Tommy. He knows that because he's able to tell him that he's in love with him, flaws, trauma, and all. I think the way you can counterbalance that with the not wanting to pressure, is by Buck rescinding his offer to live together. at that point, we get a reflection of his understanding that Tommy has trauma (maybe Chimney knows the story and shares it during Buck's conversation with Maddie). anyway, he tells him that its his turn to go at Tommy's pace, at which point we can get a "are you sure about this?" "yes, I'm sure", and then Tommy's the one this time that reaches out and lays his hand over Evan's.
