So, if you've never heard of the Web Serial Worm... Be glad.

It's free to read if you want, and has good action scenes, but it's Grimdark to the point of Grim Derp. Its taglines are basically "It got Worse" and "Being Taylor is Suffering", and I could barely read the first chapter of the original stuff, it was so blatantly toxic.

But, if you're a fan of Marvel and Warhammer 40k, then you might enjoy it - and the fanfiction is between tolerable and actually pretty good. Because the world is breaking down, and you've got superpowers, gang warfare, corrupt government, and a teenaged girl trying to make her way through this mess with almost no real allies and a vicious disposition.

Then there's MP3.1415player. he's kinda famous. :}

Particularly for Taylor Varga, a Worm/Luna Varga crossover (the latter was basically a Japanese "Godzilla as the good guy" but unfinished with six episodes), filled with science, trolling, puckish hilarity, and

SCIENCE!!!

Also, is got over 300 chapters, plenty of them lengthy, and a good read to chip at over time.

I'm currently rereading it because it's honestly hilarious and well worth Everything. :}

...unironically it's hard for me to argue with this seriously because you're making very good points but also I really don't want to accept that the Taylor Varga server staff was apparently correct all along when they claimed that all them "tulpas" were some kind of weird 4chan MLP roleplay fad (and consequently had no place on their pretty Discord server and would they please go away to somewhere else if they wanted to insist on their tulpa thing).

[It sounds kind of like sysmeds... except a few months later there was a big incident when a DID system came out as plural and weren't treated much better either. I think they didn't really believe in systems at all and it just coincidentally turned out that the first systems they knowingly encountered were tulpamancer ones and those were particularly easy to not believe in.]

Okay sorry for ranting so much but I have another thing I want to talk about

I put in the energy and I decided my stance on the word “tupla.” Before anyone gets mad at me I want to say I am not gonna block or get mad at you for using the word tupla. I don’t know your race or religion and frankly what words you use is none of my business. And I’m not gonna go all “dni tupla” or anything because It’s not that deep. Also I support the idea behind tupla just the name for it is flawed

But, I do suggest especially white and non Asian people to do your research on where the term came from and the racist use of it online before it became a popular plural term.

I’ll site my source at the end but I’ll also do a tldr of my source:

Tldr: Before popular in the plural community, tupla was a demonized and often racist term usually used to describe creepy pastas for example slender man was called a tupla. Then the term was picked up by the brony community who were still using it in a racist way where it was popularized as a plural term. “Tuplamancy” also isn’t the practices name. It’s a combination of “tupla” (Buddhist practice) and the root word “mancy” which is Greek. The way our community uses tuplas are also different then the way Buddhist did/will so we essentially took a word, demonized it, then used it incorrect

On Ao3 one of the top ten longest Gen fics (as in fics that are not tagged with any shipping) is a Worm fic. Not sure why I’m telling you this, except I found it mildly interesting and thought as an ace lover of Worm you might too.

Okay that is kind of interesting. But also extremely funny to me that it's still only a bit longer than worm itself is (just under 2 mil words).

Is it like, any good? (not that there's any chance I'm likely to read it).
