But anyway, this is an idea that sparked in my head when I was fandreaming about the Sonic franchise. What if Amy Rose's Piko Piko Hammer had a rocket function? Wouldn't that be something?

She could deal even more damage, with quicker versatility and agility, and as a bonus, she could even flip it upside down and ride it like a jet-powered scooter! It sounded so cool to me, that I had to get it down on paper. Even though Sega's probably not gonna do something like this, I just thought it was at least worth jotting down.

The idea came to me after I thought about how Amy could be playable in Sonic's boost-style gameplay, as well as when I was thinking about King Dedede's Jet Hammer from Super Smash Bros.

I call it the "Piko Rowsh Hammer" because apparently "piko" is the sound the hammer makes when struck (I personally don't hear it.) So I thought about adding a rocket sound effect to that name; something like "RRRRROWWWSSSSSSH!!", and that's why I call it the "Piko Rowsh Hammer". It can also be called the "Love Rocket Hammer".

Also, Amy's design in this is not my idea. I took the liberty of using the design made by the endlessly talented Shira-hedgie, because I think it is the best design for Amy that I've seen in a while. Also, she's a wildly talented artist who is a master of expression and movement. And she can draw Sonic characters amazingly well. I highly recommend you watch her; her stuff is great!

Also, if you didn't notice, I went for a different art style this time from what I'm accustomed to, just to see if it really works. So far I like it, but it might need some tweaking. What do you guys think of it?

Imagine that along with a switch to open up an opening on each side of the hammer where she can blast pink energy balls and lasers or pull out spikes and break through solid rock, landmass and flesh easier, or maybe even a switch that activates all of the above! Imagine all of that among with the fact that she can multiply more hammers out of thin air as shown in Sonic X and the theory you wanna go with the idea that her golden rings on her wrists could be limiters that Shadow wears, what if she takes them off and fights off with her new upgraded hammers in all of her GLORY! :D One thing she have to be careful with is for the love of Chaos, DON'T CRUSH SONIC WITH THEM! X'D

Also, the edges of the hammer can serve as wheels and the handle can pull out 2 another smaller handles to hold onto and she can ride her hammer like a Segway. She can do this or fly on it with rocket fuel to save up as much stamina as possible. With these powers and abilities, she can beat multiple enemies 10x her size and natural strength! :O

But she doesn't have to be the only one to be this deadly, besides his X-Tornado, remember when Tails can summon an arm cannon to shoot out energy balls, flicking hands, and tail swipe?

(I like to think on the other side from this fanart by artsonx is another arm cannon he can use on his other hand so he can shoot from both directions) Well perhaps he can get bigger impact from using these attacks by using a gadget that is like his rocket propelled ice skates, except with more rocket hoverers on the bottom instead of ice skates to boost his speed and so then he won't always tire his tails out.

So then you'll get a young yet determined power couple full of passion who can be able to stand on their feet in battle without needing to stand by the sidelines cheering on Sonic to do all the hero work for them when he just wants to explore the world around him and chill. Tails needs to believe in himself and Amy believes in him. I loved it when they seemed to spent more time with each other than with their own supposed idol combined in Sonic X and I miss that aspect. 💛🦊🌹💗

I think that the reason why Sega, IDW and Archie never really let Amy and Tails have moments together is because they knew that deep down putting the two of them together would bring nothing but mischievous chaos.

Like imagine:

Tails being as smart as he is with his inventions and determination guiding him and Amy with her impressive strength and fiery drive fueling her, they would make the most deadliest ass kicking duo. Like they would ruin lives if they were given more time to interact and yet they never really do and thus that makes Sega, IDW, and Archie absolute cowards-

Are we bringing up kitsunes again? I did a tad more research after the last time I got a question mentioning that I might be one of them.

It’s all interchangeable from story to story. Some stories a Kitsune is a majestic creature, others it’s a nasty trickster. I wouldn’t actively go looking for anyone who believes in kitsunes in the case of them believing the latter.

I wouldn’t leave the option of me getting more tails in the future based on a few personal experiences, but I also wouldn’t get my hopes up.

Kitsune or not, my tails are a result of a genetic mutation that may or may not be linked to the chemical plant.

I’m certainly not sacred, though. Quite the opposite.

FE brainrot continues. Based on base Keaton's battle artwork in FEH, which made me realize what a babygirl pose that truly is. Okuma Yugo drew both base Keaton and Halloween Dogboy Grima, which automatically makes him my hero forever.

Anyway. Wolfskin Isabeau.

This is where I hit you with my FE crossover headcanons.

The two wolfskin characters that exist are, to put it mildly, fucking morons. Both Keaton and his daughter Velouria (the only playable Wolfskin) are well and truly Dogs in personality. They like smelling things and collecting cool looking rocks and bones.

They are both named after fabrics.

I think, beastfolk have it better in a place like Vaugarde. Their ability to shift shapes at will is seen as a boon from the Change God themself. They're admired, nearly holy.

And yet. And yet.

Why do they change shape into... this? Into animals? Are they humans who change into animals, or animals who change into humans? Their abilities are praised in theory, but in practice, anybody's bound to freak out when someone turns into a huge wolf creature in front of them.

There's no real stigma against being beastfolk, but, well, don't show it, will you?

I think, Isabeau keeps his nails short, even though they always grow far too quickly. He smiles with a closed mouth to hide his teeth. His ears are weighed down by earrings, so they wiggle less. There's nothing he can really do about the tail, but people at least find that charming.

He plays into the stereotypes on purpose. Acts like a dog for jokes, to make others laugh. Because a dumb wolfskin is expected. Because a dumb wolfskin is less threatening. Someone with intelligence and cunning, who can also tear you to shreds with their bare hands?

....People don't like that very much.

But Isabeau didn't like being shy and demure, didn't like dancing around what he is. What he's always been. When he Changed, he wanted to be bolder, wanted to be someone who others look up to, confide in - not just something like a cute pet.

It's about confidence, and gender, and all of that, yes. It is also about being honest to the monster inside of you. As the journey progresses, he lets it trickle out, bit by bit. Using claws instead of closed fists. Hitting harder, faster, using his senses to warn others of danger.

Here, this is useful. Once the journey ends, and it stops being useful... Well, he better reign it in, right? But it's exhilirating to be honest to his own capabilities. He doesn't know if he can go back. He doesn't know if he wants to.

Also thinks about. Wolfskin Isabeau within the context of Manakete Siffrin.

Siffrin, who, at first, doesn't even realize he's not human either.

For the first time, there's someone who just... isn't fazed by beastkin at all. Sure, Odile wasn't scared, but she'd never met a wolfskin before and Isabeau had still been a curiosity, comparing to the kitsune Odile knew. Yet Siffrin didn't even seem to know what a beastkin is.

Just utterly at ease, with whatever Isabeau shows them. Of course he'd fall in love.

Of course he'd accept every single monstrous part of Siffrin, too. Whenever Siffrin is just a little too quick, a little too strong, when their long ears flick or his eyes reflect the light oddly - when Isabeau sees that Siffrin could be just like him - yeah, of course he'd fall even harder.

I have more thoughts on how Siffrin would feel on their end (how they feel feral compared to Isabeau, who controls himself with perfect precision, how they feel rabid after being restrained for so long), but this is honestly long enough.

I have a lot of thoughts about this actually

As an au? I adore it! Tbf I adore any kind of aus but I think the idea of tails living for hundreds of years and all that kinda stuff is so sick, I also love the idea of people hunting him down for magic and stuff and I just think the whole au is so fun man.

Though I gotta say I do like the idea of tails loosing his immortality after a while and just living a normal life with his friends. I also really like to make people protective of him in kitsune aus, like immortal being who’s just a little kid that’s been hunted all his life it makes me soft to make people want to protect and care for him

So yeah as an au I think it’s sick I love it and there’s so much angst and fluff potential’s

However I have seen some people put it forward as an actual theory and I’ll be honest I kinda hate it as a theory for canon.

Tails whole thing is about how he was isolated and bullied and harassed because he was born a little differently with something that without the people he was around being shitty people it wouldn’t have mattered in the slightest

Tails is left with insecurity after insecurity that he has to come over is apart of his character and slowly tails is learning that he’s worth more. But I also think a big part of his character is growing over the thought that his entire being is tied to his tails, sure he uses them but they don’t define his being. He has things other than his tails.

And honestly I think the idea that tails is a kitsune kinda wreaks all that

Because if he’s a kitsune it just kinda turns it to ‘oh I was actually super special all along!’ And that just feels icky to me. I think the theory that he’s a kitsune takes away a lot of what makes him him Because instead of being someone that hated a part of himself despite what he thought were really something special and it didn’t matter what other people thought because the people who mattered didn’t care. instead It just turns him into ‘I’m actually super special and my whole life now revolves around the fact I’m immortal and you can see it though my tails and stuff’ ya know?

A friend of mine is a kitsune. One time someone asked them to take care of their chicken coop while they were on vacation. Obvious issues with foxes and hen houses aside, it actually worked out pretty well - only one of the chickens went missing in the end, and my friend swears they didn't eat it. Our current theory is that it's still in their tail floof somewhere - occasionally we find a single pristine chicken egg resting gently atop their tails.

This isn't a question - more of a cautionary tale, really. Be careful with that floof!

leaving anywhere from 7-4 months of time where LMK could've been worked on, but some reports I've seen on Twitter imply that S5 was in fact rushed/ the studio change was a last minute decision.

now, for context, Wildbrain studios doesn't JUST work w/ 3D (as shown in Sonic prime), they also work with puppet animation; such as Carmen Santiago- which is arguably one the best visual examples of this form of animation.

Okay I got Kitsune Tails AU on the brain lately and I just had a really funny idea involving Blaze.

In case you don't know what I'm taking about you can find links to all 3 posts so far here on my master list post, this one will be #4 though it's not really connected to the other 3 so you don't have to read them to understand this nonsense my brain conjured.

But moving on.

So what if when Blaze first met Sonic and Tails she immediate clocked Tails as a Kitsune. Like in her dimension they're not common but well known enough that most of the general populace has at least heard of them. So she just sees Tails and just in her mind is just "oh Sonic's best friend/brother is a kitsune, cool"

The only thing that confuses Blaze a bit is when Sonic refers to Tails as his little brother cause like ??? she's not blind, he clearly has two tails, but some are known to be more child like until at least their 3rd or 4th tail so maybe that's what they mean, maybe????

This all comes to a head when she lets it drop one day that Tails is a Kitsune. Like they're just all talking, maybe about how Tails' tails let him fly (another kitsune au theory here about that), and Blaze just says something like:

"Oh! It's because he's a kitsune!"

And everyone else just record scratch stares at her cause they don't really know what that is so like Sonic or someone is like:

"No he's a fox, wha...???? clearly he's a fox, what are you talking about????"

But Blaze just keeps going on like:

"Yeah but he's specifically a kitsune. He's already got his second tail too! :)"

Cue just everyone being like

"wait..hold up..pause.rewind that. Tails isn't (I'm not) just a fox with a mutation???!! (I'M) HE'S JUST A DIFFERENT SPECIES OF FOX!!! FOR THE WHOLE TIME!!?!!"

And this is where Blaze has the 'Oh shit they didn't know' moment.

She then goes on to tell them everything she knows about them including the 'they live for 1000 years' part and now cue Tails' first of many midlife crises at the tender age of 8. (which they also have to explain to Blaze like "yeah he's 8 years old.....no we don't know how he got the second tail already he just came with it")

(I have this idea though that in Sonic's dimension kitsune fox's are incredibly rare to they point they're just thought of as myths, if someone's even heard of them to begin with. Or that they don't exist at all and Tails is actually originally from Blaze's dimension or some other dimension which is why he has no parents but has a family name, yet no one still seems to have any idea where he actually came from, but it's a universal constant he end up where ever Sonic is cause they're brothers and supposed to be together.So if there is no Sonic Tails gets yeeted to where there is one.)

Also Topper and Father are at the top tier cuz they're just cute small animals. Can't argue with that. :)

1.) EDMOND

Not gonna lie, when I first saw him I HATED him. I REALLY don't like tsunderes (looking at you Takumi from FE: Fates) and it didn't help that Eiden immediately fell for at first sight. Like I was internally screaming at Eiden NOT to fall for the tsundere knight. :T

But to my biggest shock, he was WAY more than that. He's respected by all his people (with some stuck-up noble detractors), the knights adore him, and he's always looking out for the best for others. His duty, work, and especially others and Eiden come first before he does. His tsundere personality only comes out when Eiden teases/flirts with him, but otherwise, he's very sweet and cares for others, especially Eiden.

And I absolutely ship him with Eiden the most. Out of all the relationships, they feel the most "mutual" if that makes sense? One reason I'm iffy about adult and especially yaoi games/themes was there was a HUGE power imbalance. In this case tho, Eiden was already head over heels and loves everything Edmond does. Edmond on the other hand, attempts to open up more and Eiden falls in love more and more. They both respect each other and are on equal footing. They're the same, but opposite, and that's something I was not expecting from a BL/Yaoi game. :)

My favorite one is Tranquil Cloud. THAT was incredibly, oversaturating SUPER amazing. It really showed the development Edmond went through and how he wanted to be BETTER not for himself, but for Eiden and others. And when Eiden found that book, oh my lord, he ABSOLUTELY loved him. OH AND THE PRISON RIOT, when Edmond was worried about Eiden being a different person, how they made up when EDMOND was the one who initiated the roleplay LOL. It was SUPER SWEET!!!! ;V;

Overall, Edmond is my #1 spot. Never thought I'd be so obsessed with a tsundere.

2.) KUYA

Wow another tsundere on the top list lol. Same deal with Edmond, I wasn't feeling that great about him. I generally hate the tricky, fox-like characters.

But then I saw some of his coversations and... wow. I actually REALLY like him. What I love is despite him doing tricks and jests on others, he absolutely HATES talking about himself and letting his personal feelings get in the way. It's not even including how he feels about Eiden, but rather how vulnerable he hates being. In a way... he's uncaring but selfless, too. The fourth rooms in Kitsune Dream and Aromatic Exotica Kuya really showed more of his depression and how numb he was to everything.

This is my theory, but I think Kuya WAS abused by Huey considering how long they've been together. Everyone mentioned how Huey wasn't a good person despite his amazing power. And Huey doesn't like Kuya's yokai side, which is why Kuya doesn't think highly of his ears and tail. Even tho Kuya doesn't regard Eiden the same way, he also doesn't miss Huey if that makes sense?? I feel part of his depression was cuz he WASN'T used to being abused by Huey and considering how old he is, it took him such a long time to finally work and accept it.

I absolutely ship him with Quincy tho, mainly because they're also on mutual grounds if that makes sense??? The only thing that's holding me back from him and Eiden being together is how there's a HUGE power imbalance and honestly, he DOES go too far in some cases. Even in some events, he gets away from... a LOT, and that's really difficult considering how powerful he is honestly. But with Quincy, there's a silent respect for each other and they don't dare to mess each other up too far (like SUPER far if that makes sense). That and c'mon, they've HAD had to be together at some point. They're my favorite divorced grandpa ship ahaha.

3.) EIDEN

I never thought I would love Eiden honestly. I LOVE how he's not a self-insert character when he got isekai'd to NU: Carnival's world.

I love how he's not just a stupid character, but rather someone who is ACTUALLY mature (when he's not being a dum horny dude of course :b) and looks out for others. He DOES help everyone be better about themselves and wants the best for everyone. He's goofy, but when he's needed, he's needed. :)

I ship him the most with Edmond mainly cuz they're on mutual grounds and they're the same, but opposite. I can see how others are also just as romantic, but to me, I'm entirely an Eiden x Edmond shipper aha.

Eiden DOES take things too far sometimes or even during the worst times. I mainly wanted to play the game for the fluff conversations, but c'mon Eiden... now ain't the time OTL.

4.) QUINCY

Quincy's amazing.

I really REALLY like Quincy. He's just a genuinely nice hermit haha. I haven't seen his conversations with Eiden as much, but I appreciate how he's such a caring dude and their relationship must be super sweet. Also him and Topper are super cute and I love how dry his humor is ahaha.

If you don't include Eiden, Quincy's #3! I personally prefer Edmond and Kuya higher, but if we talk about shipping... Kuya and Quincy WOULD be #2 together hehe. I just REALLY like shipping them together!!

5.) BLADE

He's just a silly li'l android! But what I like about him is he's just genuinely curious and silly! One reason he's pretty up there is cuz he has no malicious intent and wants to learn more about being "human." He really cares a lot for everyone and c'mon... his attack mode is REALLY cool. XD

Also I think his Crystal Awakening outfit is the BEST design in the game, no question! Absolutely loved his development and growth in that event.

6.) REI

I wasn't expecting myself to like Rei a lot! He honestly surprised me and I love the type who focuses solely on their research to the point of sacrificing. It leads to a lot of well good writing and character development, and Rei did not disappoint!

Maybe cuz I haven't seen all of his events, but personally he and Eiden gives "friends with benefits" vibes. I THINK he's slowly coming around for the romance with Eiden. But overall, I do like Rei as a character and how he can actually stand up against to Kuya in talking ahaha. Poor Quincy.

7.) OLIVINE

Tbh he's ONLY there just so I can tease a good friend of mine. :b

All jokes aside, I was expecting the depraved priest trope from Olivine, but thankfully it was well done! It really went super deep into his backstory and what he's going for now. The recent event gave me more points for him and Kuya haha. I loved how he even asked Kuya to join him for a prayer session with the kids... AND KUYA ACCEPTED IT HAHA.

...Though if I must be frank, he is kinda freaky in the bed OTL. I do appreciate Eiden's help and encouraging Olivine. I know I'm playing a yaoi game and I SHOULD have an open mind, but yeah wasn't really used to it ahaha. Props to those who enjoy it tho, please do so!!!

8.) ASTER (ONLY if he's in his other form)

If we're solely doing this on appearances, Aster would be much lower due to how young he looks. I'm sorry, but I don't really like having young characters ESPECIALLY in adult games, it doesn't give me a very good vibe. It doesn't help considering Aster's true age yet he still looks like 16-18 (according to official sources). BUT his other form is MUCH better and I HIGHLY prefer that.

Aster is really cool! He's such a greedy vampire ahaha. His story with Morvay was really sad too, he was waiting for such a long time for Huey to come back. You realized despite the good things Huey did, he was a cold person in real life.

9.) YAKUMO

I'll blame this on the lack of exposure I have to him, but yeah... I just couldn't vibe with Yakumo. I don't really like crying characters and it didn't really help he felt... obsessive with Eiden if that makes sense?? I guess "worshipping" is the better word.

Honestly, I prefer his interactions with OTHER clan members. I felt the detective event really showed that. It just felt any time he was with Eiden, he just has to talk about him and Eiden isn't AS interested vice versa if that makes sense? But Eiden won't ignore him either, it just felt super one-sided. Hopefully I can change my mind, cuz I really do like his design and I don't outright dislike him.

10.) DANTE

Okay so remember how I mentioned I hated tsunderes lol. Despite putting two of them on the top list... Dante is the embodiment of an ACTUAL tsundere.

The problem I have with Dante is that he's a tsundere to EVERYONE. I can give it a pass if he was acting like that to Eiden only, but he does that to everyone, his own people, the other clan members, etc. And it sucks too cuz I ACTUALLY like his banter and conversations with Eiden, but overall as a character, I wished he would loosen up.

I can understand that he's the ruler of his kingdom, but it also didn't help I was given a negative impression of him. Also on Eiden's side, he was trying to tell him how to rule a kingdom and honestly both sides did NOT give me good vibes. :/

I know he doesn't have a lot of alts, but hopefully he'll get some more screen time to develop and all.

11.) GARU

Garu unfortunately left a bad impression to me, but I'll blame it more on the writers for this. Him looking young and the split personality disorder not taken seriously was doing more harm than good to me sadly.

It's the same deal with Yakumo, I feel it's more one-sided on Garu's end. And man, Karu was actually a tsundere, too. I get they're going for the sweet/spicy side, but it just didn't work out well sadly. I just don't feel that comfy with how he looks honestly and how his disorder wasn't taken seriously.

12.) ASTER (Original form)

I already said why I like Aster, but for his original form, I don't like his appearance sadly. It's the same deal with Garu. I DO like Aster as a character, but just for the appearance, he's ranked down here.

13.) MORVAY

Uh yeah... he just likes balls. ^^;

Couldn't vibe with him honestly, so sorry!!! I do like his sad story tho, but otherwise I can't really get myself to like him sadly.

Could you tell me a little more about the kitsunes in your wip?

Kitsune(type 1, and type 2), and normal foxes, for that matter were created by a fox god, who has not been officially named as of yet. Type 1 kitsune are similar to normal foxes, but boast color that span the rainbow, and have much bushier tales(it's speculated by mages that their tails contain all their magic, but as of now, that's purely theory). Type two kitsune are what Vul is: A humanoid race with elements of foxes, and much magic, also boasting bright color. Both types of kitsune have the potential of elemental power, and contain a HUGE amount of mana. Some of the most powerful wizards in history have been kitsune. They are devious, as they get much joy from tricking humanoids. They are also one of THE MOST territorial groups of creatures around. Once humans started hunting magical beings, the kitsune retreated to the forests. People consider them dangerous, but really, they only attack if provoked. Now, a few people have been harmed accidentally walking into a kitsune forest, but most just get scared. The kitsune could show you a wonderful illusion, filled with happiness, or they could show you the worst thing imaginable, or even both at the same time. Kitsune are sly, prone to mood swings, territorial, and most of all, they never forget a transgression, and are slow to forgive offenders. Tread lightly in the woods, and don't hunt foxes. Of all the types of humans they hate, the most of which, are the ones who hunt their kin.

To a Festival on a Summer Evening (夏の宵に縁日へ) Alt. Stream

Rei: Hyottoko mask. A mask of a male character, as opposed to the female otafuku. The character plays the role of a clown (fitting for a member of DH). Apparently named as such because the mouth looks like it’s breathing fire.

Ichiro: Kitsune mask. Kitsune have various connotations in Japan, but outside the festival setting, this one’s a bit of an odd choice, since Sasara has more fox connotations than Ichiro (Sasara has what are called kitsune no me).

Ramuda: Rabbit mask. A pretty uncommon type of mask, in comparison to the kitsune, hyottoko and otafuku masks. Also cute, childish and pink to go with his colour scheme. (Update: Also harmless-seeming, as well as going with his "pyon pyon pyon!" - most notably from Drops - and his calling of "Usa-pyon" to Jyuto.)

At first, I thought Rei's was the only mask of particular note (particularly because Rei's speaker has a phoenix, which is represented by fire), but there are also some interesting connotations with Ichiro's kitsune mask - some kitsune can breathe fire, there is the concept of kitsunebi (fox fire) and some festivals have special fires.

The toffee apple in Ramuda's hand also has a fire element - through the melted sugar which comprises the toffee - and...well, it's red.

BB's theme colour is red and red is usually the colour used to represent fire (see: the ancient Chinese 5 element theory behind Saburo's 3rd solo). Also, red and yellow - BB and FP's theme colours respectively - make orange, or DH's theme colour.

On top of that, within ARB, all 3 of these characters were present during the fireworks event which is featured during this Alt. Stream (across both parts) and in the manga, Ramuda's senpai of sorts is called Hanabi. (Although the kanji used for Hanabi's name are roughly "flower light/lamp" - the second character of which can be read tomoshibi in other contexts, like the MTR song - the usual kanji for "fireworks" literally translates to "flower fire".)

(Sidenote: In terms of words, the word meaning "festival" (縁日) includes the character 縁 (enishi), which is the name of a DH song. Indeed, this kanji combo is read ennichi.)

(Then again, this fanart reminded me Hitoya also has fox associations, since he was possessed by the nine tailed fox in one of the soul swaps...)

2024 Mononoke Kusu is actually a budded offspring of 2007 Mononoke Kusu.

proof: none

hypothesis: according to Japanese folklore Kitsune gain a tail every 100 years as a culmination of wisdom/experience (IIRC feel free to correct). A tail is an extension of the spinal column with nerve endings and shit. Starfish often have many arms/“tails”. If you broke off one of a kitsune’s tails, just like a starfish, it should bud into an entirely new fox! Because babies are made through experience.

THEREFORE

the difference in appearance between the Kusu Two (twosu) is because 2024 Kusling is a budded facet/baby of 2007!

Guess who spent way too much effort drawing when she decided to joke around with the fandom debate over Alastor having a tail? Me, that's who!! It was an fun exercise in character design for sure. Background image is just an altered screenshot, I obviously don't claim it. Below are descriptions for each tail:

0: No Tail There's two of these ones, one front and one back. They're the base I used and show off what he looks like "normally".

1: Devil Tail His VA said, when asked if his character had a tail, that he thinks Alastor would have a devil tail. So of course I make one that's party sized. (That's also why I changed his brooch to an apple, for eagle-eyed viewers: his VA said that he thinks Alastor's favourite candy/fruit would be an apple and loool why not let's bait the shippers trollolol!)

2: Radio Antennae Honestly just makes practical sense for a guy like Alastor. Helps him transmit and used his powers.

3: Deer Tail The fandom's generally favourite tail headcanon for Alastor. I like it too tbh.

4: Deer coat-tails Double the fun! What if he actually had two tails to mimic the coat-tails of a swanky jacket?

5: Peacock This show-offy bastard likes attention and he deserves a tail that reflects this. 100% I'm taking the piss over this. But also the eye spots on the feathers mimic his microphone, so there is that.

6: Raccoon/Cheshire The radio drama king deserves a drama king tail, and minus the peacock, there isn't anything quite as stand-out as a raccoon tail. But then I looked at it and his grin and went, "Wait, is that a raccoon tail, or a Cheshire cat tail?" And honestly I could not answer that.

7: MIC TAIL OMFG OMFG GOD CONSPIRACY THEORY GUYS VIVZIE IS CRAZY HIS MICROPHONE IT'S BEEN HIS TAIL ALL ALONG!! ITS JUST DETACHABLE!!1!

8: Deer tail (tiny) How else do you think he's kept it hidden so long? Bet he's embarrassed to show such a smol little butt floof.

9: Combined tail Combined the devil tail idea with the deer tail idea. This is also based on a previous picture of mine (link here)

10: Dog/fox Apparently Alastor doesn't like dogs according to a wiki? They might have had something to do with his hunting-accident death. So of course I'm gonna be an asshole and give him a dog tail so he can never forget it. (Legit though it's kind of hilariously fucked up that you take a form in Hell based on how you died lol). This tail could also be a sort of fox tail too, for those of you who think his deceptive nature makes him kitsune-like. I ain't drawing a nine-tailed fox version of him, what the fuck are you asking, do I look like I have room anywhere!?! …Jokes aside (not), the dog tail might be the most likely to be canon? Maybe?? So where is it? He probably hates it so much he cuts it off the first chance he gets (and probably eats it too, knowing this MOFO.)

Anyways, hope you've enjoyed this exercise. I sure have! Feel free to experiment with your own versions of this idea, but please credit me if you do... Or at least let me know so I can see it? Pretty please?

I've been thinking about the kitsune Tails theory/headcanon and it's actually devastating, my goodness.

He's going to out-live all his friends. He's thing to out-live Sonic. All he'll have for company in the future is Shadow. And when they eventually find Silver, Tails will have to cope with the fact he's going to watch his entire life play out.

But then there's the topic of him being a kitsune at all! When does he find out and how? Is the extra tail just an early indicator of what he is or has he already lived a hundred years and doesn't remember? Or do kitsune gain an extra tail every time they die, meaning Tails had already died once and it must've been when he was super young?

So many possibilities. This theory is really cool and I love it.
