I love 'The Post-Traumatic Manifesto'

It's a small project made by the creator Weevildoing, and I've been obsessing. And considering I'm. Experiencing. I'm gonna force my love for this series onto everyone else.

Various headcanons be upon ye all:

There are two girls who could be considered "early risers" - Caliber and Irreverent. Caliber because she works a 9-5 on top of going to the gym, and Irreverent because the religious sermons co attended has influenced her sleep schedule. Co, however, prefers them nowadays to watch the sunrise :)

Also Caliber wakes up that early to either make coffee at home or splurge on fancy coffee - fancy coffee is saved for holidays, rough days, or as a littol treat. She will never admit to that third one though.

Girls with the most FUCKED sleep schedule include Splitter (to no one's surprise), Disposable, Fainant (<- hear me out-), and Caliber.

Splitter is splitter (/affect i adore her). Disposable likes to stay up late playing bideos games, watching anime, scrolling tumblr (ILL GET BACK TO THIS LATER), or researching conspiracy theories. Fainant WOULD have a normal sleep schedule in their ideal life but due to their ME/CFS and many other disabilities and chronic issues they kinda just have accepted her sleep schedule will always be a bit fucky. And Caliber, despite being an early riser is prone to working late. Go to bed at 2 and wake up at 6 kinda lady. This is why she needs coffee.

Chocobo would LOVEEE to work as a barista. Not at fuckbucks but like. If he could get paid properly and be considered a Cool Barista:tm: it'd be THRIVING.

Adding onto that; if it were a barista she'd work at the same coffee shop Caliber visits and Caliber describes him as "the sweetheart who writes nice notes on her cups and can make a killer hazelnut latte."

Splitter and Disposable are friends - semi-long distance, like an hour - and they bond over anime, games, and all the out-there shit they both like/believe (conspiracies and such). They keep each other up watching anime or gaming over discord its amazing. They also both confide in each other about violent or s/h related urges, just kinda listening and going along. They're both SEVERELY mentally ill so they dont really try to give advice; theyll just mutually acknowledge it and be like "yeah that shit sucks. ill hate it/them with you tho."

^^^everytime they meet up they spend at least 3 days together.

Chocobo and Fainant are also friends. Specifically, Chocobo loves to bake sweets for Fainant and Fainant will invite Bo over for frequent movie nights, tea parties, and general hangout sessions lot. Chocobo is one of few people Fainant will willingly go out with because he is willing to leave as soon as they say theyre getting tired.

Chocobo and Irreverent are the UNLIKELY DUO!!! Chocobo is excitable and sociable and anxious and Irreverent is aloof and a lil socially detached but a good logical counterpart who isn't as worried about what others think.

To that end, Chocobo is an age regressor (between ages 10-14 usually) - it won't do it in front of many people, but he trusts Irreverent to caregive. Co makes sure to be extra careful with Bo's boundaries during these times.

Taxidermy and Chocobo don't know eachother BUT Fainant knows Taxidermy and has been intending to introduce the two.

Taxidermy and Fainant never go out. Unlike Chocobo, Taxidermy is the friend Fainant will scroll on their phone with and occassionally send memes for hours then go out for McDonald's at 2 am.

OH ALSO. Splitter and Fainant are work buds. They work at the McDonalds mentioned above. They talk over discord and also send each other memes.

Im not sure how many of you follow Weevil on instagram but. there was a post where Bo very clearly has a crush on Disposable and honestly. Yeah.

For context, there's a skate park near the cafe - and Disposable skateboards there and practices moves on railings and shit. One time Chocobo saw Disposable successfully pull off a kickflip coming off a rail and it's heart went doki-doki.

Splitter has met Chocobo in person a total of two times - the cafe is a rare safe place for Splitter and Disposable to hang out in a dark corner - and both times she could SEE Chocobo staring.

She has tried to get Disposable to talk to him. It is VERY hesitant. Next time Splitter visits she plans to drag Disposable over to Chocobo.

Okay so anyway hard pivot back to Caliber and CHEMICAL!!

Chemical canonically loves rhythm games and fitness - what I'm saying is that she attends the same gym as Caliber and they share a Zumba class.

Whenever Caliber is there Chemical is lovingly on her ass - making sure she drinks water and always inquiring about her home life. Caliber spares details, not wanting to worry a LITERAL TEENAGER, but takes her advice to stretch and drink water.

Caliber admires Chemical's high energy and boldness - and constantly tells her to use those strengths to her advantage. Chemical doesn't seem to fully believe her but appreciates it anyway.

Chemical sees Caliber as an older sister figure for sure.

Chemical is another friend of Fainant! They don't hang out as much as Taxidermy or Chocobo but Chemical helps Fainant stay as active as they can with all their disabilities.

Same for Splitter. She got Splitter into rhythm games. They also geek out about figmas, gundams, and garage kits together.

A decent chunk of the girls deal with feelings of nonhumanity btw - not even just in a trauma way. Fully convinced Disposable is a dog therian and is trying to unlearn its inner cop.

CW for child abuse and neglect!

Disposable Girl: she comes from an emotionally neglectful environment. It used to be even physically neglectful in the past, but it got “better.” I imagine Jordyn’s mother to always be high on her meds or just really uncaring about life and existence, while also being attractive, and she probably compared herself to Jordyn, while her father is misogynistic and makes less-than-savory comments. Her parents try to be good to Jordyn, but it just isn’t enough because of their emotional states, views, and financial condition (I imagine they’re lower middle-class/poor.)

Irreverent Girl: they are pieces of shit. That’s it, Kairi’s parents are disgraceful human beings. Emotionally abusive and emotionally neglectful, sometimes even physical, and they genuinely believe they are doing it for co own good. Kairi must sneak some things in sometimes because her parents would cause a big drama and want her to repent. They will always put “God” first, instead of Kairi. Definitively with the “purity culture treatment” too, for Kairi to be so embarrassed to fall into temptation, because co mother would just ridicule her and force her to repent. She can’t express herself, at all, barely be co own person, without her parents trying to have a say in co life. They seem like the picture-perfect family of a commercial, but Kairi knows how co feels about it.

Splitter Girl: she has a shitty family. Emotional neglect, emotional abuse, sometimes even physical abuse. Her parents aren’t married, but they aren’t split up (Tahira is a bastard kid, like Jordyn.) Her dad’s especially shittier, someone with a short temper and very violent, someone who only thinks of himself, and her parents are constantly arguing and fighting, ignoring her or berating her. Her mother just tends to be numb and sometimes leave and stay out for hours or even days. Tahira has no respect for them, and she is mad at them. Anything can blow her parents up. She prefers to stay 24/7 in her bedroom. The rest of her family are more parental than her parents, but her mother would be worried if anything happened to Tahira, even if she doesn’t show it. They all don’t live too far away. Tahira considers her older cousin of whom she stole the gun from as the brother she never had.

Fainéant Girl: her family is not good, but it could be worse (below average parenting at best.) They used to be emotionally neglectful with her, but they’ve gotten better with it, but they still get into arguments frequently about how she could do more. To Freyja, if her parents and siblings were there or not, it wouldn’t change nor bother her much. They are worried about her and try to be good, but it’s hard because they don’t understand her issues at all, thinking sometimes that she’s faking it because of internalized ableism. Her parents seem picture-perfect outwardly, while her siblings are, to Freyja, “better” than her because of her mother’s comparisons and their social lives; A students, involved in sports, her older sister having a great job and helping out, charismatic fellows. Freyja was, in the end, glad she could leave her house because of everything: they neglected her medically and emotionally and never believing her, by making her feel lesser.

Caliber Girl: her parents saw their daughter’s potential, and… well, forced her to become the burn-out gifted kid archetype. They really loved their daughter, but they would ALWAYS make her do something in excess, always make her be the best, control what she could eat and dress. There was never a moment of rebellion from Nora. They were against Nora’s transition at first, but they accepted it after sometime. They never saw how much they hurt their daughter, and even if they did… well, perfection first, they have priorities for their daughter to “succeed.” And while Nora seems to have succeeded, she’s unhappy because of it. Her older brother helped her when her parents were busy, making Nora really close to him, because he didn’t conditionally love her. Her parents were very hard-working themselves, and they didn’t pursue their dreams, so they hoped they could live it through Nora, leading to a burnt-out woman in the future who just wants control over her life.

Chocolate-Box Girl: THEY ARE GREAT! They love their cutie-pie very, very much! They probably taught Morgan how to cook and bake, they gave her cute plushies and jewelry (which she got very attached to.) They often have outings together. They have plenty of nicknames for her. They feel very guilty when they discovered about Morgan being groomed, for not knowing how to help her. They still take care of Morgan, even if the relationship has grown VERY distant. She felt deeply abandoned by them because of how they never stopped her relationship with… them…

Taxidermy Girl: a physically abusive and emotionally abusive mother, even if she worries about Mayra. Her father wasn’t around, only her mother, grandmother and aunts. Mayra is terrified of her mother and aunts, because they say about every horror story men can do, and her mother blames Mayra for having been SA’d, even when she was just a kid. They terrified Mayra because of their treatment, trying to help her by trapping her in her own house, never leaving her alone, and all their generational trauma. Her mother projects her own issues, traumas and fears onto Mayra, like her mother did to her, causing an intergenerational trauma from grandmother to mother to daughter.

Chemical Girl: Her mother sucked. Likely an ableist, dragging her daughter to ABA (ew) and denying her daughter was Autistic. Emotionally and physically abusive, she yelled at her for the littlest reasons, would emotionally neglect her, or leave her alone for hours on end. Her father (I imagine her parents are divorced) was only slightly better, but also with mood swings, leaving Joy in an inconsistent or neglectful and abusive household. Her mother only started seeking treatment when Joy was a teenager, mostly leaving her with her father, and although he was caring, he was still too unstable to take care of another person. So it got worse for her, she was either unloved or left alone. She felt deeply unloved as a kid, and she tries to please everybody, and isolates herself when she’s about to explode emotionally.

Refraction Girl: normal, average parenting. She was closer to her father, which I assume is dead. It’s definitively nothing special, not being like Morgan’s parents (deeply loving her) or Tahira’s parents (being violently and neglectfully shitty.) Nataana felt unfulfilled with the relationship she had with her parents, and once her father died, she never truly left the grief and likely writes songs about him (or grief in general.) Her father gave her more attention than her mother.

Nurse Parallel: she has Dissociative Identity Disorder. That speaks for itself, really. … Poor Xiomara (for what I imagine.)

TPTM girl headcanons!!!! I love this album sooooo much lolz, anyway I hope these suffice

—Tahira has a really shitty father, she wants his approval but hates him at the same time. Her attempt was when she was visiting her cousins house- Post album she lives there and is slowing detoxing from her father’s influence.

—Nataana grew up somewhat neglected by her parents + ignored by classmates, she grew up wondering what was wrong with her (#projecting) until she got diagnosed at some point. But that all made it harder, which led her to her state in her song.

—(stole this from someone else but all credits to them) Post time skip, Tahira makes breakcore instrumentals for the delayed gratification instead of instant gratification of SH and the internet

—Kairi got introduced into Vocaloid by Tahira, she’s a ghost and pals, RIP and maretu fan in my mind. She also likes rlly niche artists i think lol

—Jordyn is into rhythm games, she liked them before but really got into them after meeting Joy. She’s not good at them, but she’s improving and has learned to be kinder and more patient to herself and her skills. I think she tahira and morgan would all play pjsk together as well (mizu5 and ena5 destroyed them)

—Joy sometimes joins Tahira on her urbex journeys, she’s proud of her for being more active lol.

—Tahira would like rot for clout don’t fight me

—once tahira asked if she could crush up some of freyja’s adderall and snort it (freyja found it funny) ((xiomara found them and gave Tahira the ‘drugs are bad’ talk and tahira felt KIND OF BAD because wow this nurse actually wants me to get better and is convincing me it isn’t over. So she never asked again.))

—Morgan was rlly uncomfortable around Nora and tahira at first bc of her trauma (tahira due to the rlly sensitive topics that morgan was exposed to) :[[ luckily, also somewhat due to Morgan’s openness, Morgan grew to see that Nora and Tahira were trustworthy and would protect him (Nora and tahira have promised to themself that if they EVER found Morgan’s abuser, they’d make their life a living hell, Tahira has actually threatened to murder and torture him out loud a couple times until morgan told her to cool it)

quality domestic time

she's a pretty busy person, and while she's most often stuck in her office handling things for her castle or territory, she enjoys when they sit with her and do their own thing

talking with them is nice, and she does like hearing their thoughts on certain things, but for the most part, she would prefer a calm evening with them while she continues her work

on the off-chance neither of them are busy with one thing or another, she also likes drinking wine with them while they sit together in her room

they're a bit of a lightweight, so it's entertaining to see them confidently tell her they could handle her strongest wine and become a flustered, word-slurring mess fifteen minutes later

her favorite is when she's in as little clothing as possible and they sit on her lap while they share a wine glass

it's just so out of the ordinary for her, and she enjoys having them around as a comforting presence

it also helps that they don't judge her body in the slightest, and she's caught them close to drooling a few times while she undresses in front of them

it's nice to be appreciated :)

plus, when it's just the two of them, she's able to fluster them much easier. she considers it a love language in itself

being outside gives both of them a breath of fresh air and some privacy from anyone wanting to bother them inside

they can hold hands, talk about whatever, enjoy each other's presence, and they get to see the beautiful scenery that lays just beyond the castle

don't tell anyone, but she definitely intentionally slows her pace to take longer than she usually would. she just wants to spend time with them away from everyone else for a while

this is also the prime time for her to confide in them about her struggles as the eldest Dimitrescu daughter. it's certainly a rough life, and their comfort is what she craves on harder days

her second favorite thing to do is analyze books with them or talk about theories together

none of her other "partners" were as interested in music or books, so having someone actively listen to her and offer their input about her interests is very new to her

that part in chapter eighteen where Reader was looking at the little notes and such she wrote in her books about them? yeah, she's got plenty more just like it :)

be it them holding her weapons during a hunt or writing down the things she finds interesting about the human body, she enjoys when they listen to her and do things for/with her

sometimes she likes giving them tasks in the cellar so she can watch them and study them while they're distracted

she does like seeing people in their natural habitats, as she believes that's who they really are, so watching them as they bite the inside of their cheek and attentively write down what she'd said makes her chest light

she'll never actually tell them she needs help, though. she'll just tell them to do something and smile when they do it, no questions asked

she also likes drawing them while they're distracted and doing something else

they're still spending time together, yeah, but she finds them interesting to sketch, especially with those wings. she wants to find out why they have three, but maybe she'd ask after this sketch (she doesn't)

it doesn't matter if they're reading books to her, sleeping next to her, or helping her garden. she just wants to spend time with them and hold their hand or lay some part of her on them

she's very touchy, what can she say? but they don't seem to mind

she enjoys being able to hand them things or have them help her pick out the best-looking rocks during their little adventures outside. she feels like they really understand her

it also helps that they take each of her gifts with an excited smile. not even her ex-partners would do that

while she does enjoy simply spending any time with them she's able to, her absolute favorite thing is sleeping beside them

or, rather, when they are asleep beside her

she hasn't told them she does this, since she fears they'll think her a creep or something, but since she's a night owl, she often falls asleep later than they do, and she ends up watching them sleep as a way to fall asleep herself

she's never seen them look so peaceful and unbothered, and it warms her dead heart to watch them sleepily lean into her fingers as she brushes them down her bird's cheek in fascination

She’s meant to represent imposter syndrome, and always feeling like you’re a burden to everyone around you- hence the parasite imagery, since she sees herself as someone who always takes and never gives no matter what anyone tries to tell her. Her style is based on 2020s Cutecore/Cutegore aesthetics, joifuku fashion, and yamikawaii! I love her so much and she is my new favorite little guy.

To me I always saw Wood Man as the parental figure of the Wily Bots, which is very ironic considering he is the youngest. He shouldn’t have to act like the older sibling but he is forced to by his family’s stupidity. He has to deal with robots like Quick, Flash, Heat, and Air all the time.

And because he is one of Dr. Wily’s favorites, I gave him golden child syndrome. He thinks he doesn’t deserve to be treated how Wily treats him because he isn’t as strong as he is meant to be / his weaknesses. He is sure that his brothers hate him too for this.

His song would both bring up his relationship with his family and father, his desire for connection, and also his own depressive feelings and hate that he’s been bottled up.
