BuckTommy - Titanic AU

Tommy is from a nearly broke wealthy family who is travelling to USA to meet his future wife who is going to save the family from ruin. His father gambled and drank all their wealth and his mother has died.

Tommy feels trapped by the society’s expectations by the fact that he has never been attracted to a woman.

He has made his peace with it, he knows he can never love or be loved in the way that he hopes.

The first night on the boat, Tommy is walking outside and hears commotion on the lower deck.

Buck is a out of luck ,disgraced son of a middle class family who ran to Europe the first chance he got, to get away from a family that never loved him. He met Edmundo, Eddie, Diaz on a boat to Europe and they have stuck together ever since.

He gets a letter from his sister, Maddie, begging him to return to the States, so he packs his meagre belongings and Eddie and they decide to travel in style and they got just enough money to buy a third class ticket to Titanic.

The first night they are smoking on the deck when they see a group of men harrassing a lady, so they intervene. And they get beat up in the process.

When Tommy gets to the commotion he rips the men apart and comes face to face with the bluest eyes and the sunniest (and bloodiest) grin he has ever seen.

His heart skips a beat.

When Buck and Eddie get invited to a first class dinner by Tommy for helping the lady, Buck could’ve never predicted getting swept away in feelings for a man who is so far removed from the life he wants for himself.

He invites Tommy to a party down the ship and when the push and pull seems almost too much…Tommy runs away.

Eddie has never met such an idiotic pair.

Lyra, my beloved cat of 13 years, passed away this year on Father's Day. She's been by my side through very difficult times and was my little rock of steady and unrelenting love. I struggled a lot drawing this, and struggled a lot posting it, but I know I would've wanted to read a comic like this that validated my grief for her when I lost her.

One of the coolest parts about being a fan of fanfic is you can actually contact the author. And they will respond. And then you can message them nonstop until they allow you into their lives and then you’re becoming their beta reader and suddenly you know multiple authors of all types of fiction books and fanfic authors who will drag out their deleted fics for you to read at a moments notice.

Anyway. Comment on fics and message authors. It’s absolutely worth it.
