An Important Photo
This is a portrait of me, and among all my photos, it’s probably my favorite. It brings together everything I love— a green dress, botanical elements, nature, and flowers (irises, though they are artificial).
I have always loved nature, especially anything related to flowers, trees, and plants. Being surrounded by them makes me feel at ease and at peace. In mythology, the iris is associated with Sagittarius—it appears on the 14th Major Arcana card in tarot, Temperance, which symbolizes everything connected to Sagittarius. As a Sagittarius myself, Temperance is also my favorite card among the 78 in the tarot deck.
Holding the iris feels like holding my own soul. And in this photo, I look particularly beautiful—perhaps even capturing the most stunning version of myself.
