Unapologeticly adore the idea that is "Hesh becomes a worse person; Logan becomes better" simply because the story is set up in such a way that it should be the opposite.

Logan was abducted to become just like Rorke. Callous and cruel, delighting in the pain and fear he can cause others. Just so long as whoever they hurt isn't important enough to the Federation to protect, and just so long as they also remove obstacles for the Federation at the same time.

Meanwhile Hesh gets to stay with the Ghosts, our lovely cast of supportive side protagonists. The obvious next steps are "Get medical care, recover, continue the warpath on Rorke+The Federation, and save Logan." What a hero! How noble. Kill the bad guys, rescue the damsel, all after your nice tragic backstory.

And then that set-up gets flipped on it's head which I just think is SO fun. What's even better is there's canon material that could be used to foreshadow this! I've babbled about it before (in greater detail) but Hesh+Rorke can share a lot of parallels. (If you turn your head and squint. /J) (Elias and Logan also share parallels.)

Rorke and Hesh are both hot headed leaders who have some other guy (Who's POV we play through) following them around to take orders. Both of them have some man they pursue to seek revenge on for some personal slight. They both have larger important goals that become secondary to this anger-driven revenge. This quest for revenge eventually gets them into such a situation where their and their little guy companions lives are threatened. And in both life-threatening scenarios the little guy companion friend clutches up and saves their asses. Despite a situation that 100% should have taken them out the little fucker survives.

i haven’t seen anyone talk about it yet but medusa’s actress is so insanely talented?? most of her face is veiled but she did an AMAZING job at portraying the subtle changes in her emotions like “not him. me” DESTROYED me you can tell how strongly she feels about the subject but also how she’s trying to keep her cool and appear calm and collected to these kids and tell them of the ways their parents suck

God I am OBSESSED with this panel. The sheer amount of yearning in Jason's eyes, looking almost shy. Sneakily stealing a glance at Dick. Dick smiling a little, staring up at the ceiling, completely unaware of Jason's stare.

This feels, like, CLASSICALLY gay. This feels like a scene you'd see in a movie or show where two characters are clearly pining for each other but haven't yet confessed (but it's clearly heading that way).

Like, there is ZERO way to interpret this as platonic or as "just hero worship". Especially in the context of the entire annual. It feels like a 150k slowburn fanfic the way this annual is written. This entire thing threw me off so badly when I just joined the fandom bc this doesn't at all feel platonic.

Hmmm... Yes. I like.

I have an idea for a "Pt 2" scenario to have some segment where you play from what you THINK is Logan's POV of the pit post-beach to then reveal it's Rorke. Not only sneaky cool but PARALLELS GOD THE PARALLELS. An escape attempt maybe. Also the opening maybe??? Hmmm.... Technically a Ghost! Rorke segment, but idk if it's as fufulling as what you'd like, which I imagine to be proper combat. Tho hell, why not give the opening some stealth-based take downs? Could not only intro the game, but intro new mechanics/stress their importance.

As for a Fed! Rorke segment, I have no ideas! Maybe we get to see his end during the start of his hunt? (Of the Ghosts.) or maybe continue with the theme of the intro where it's the early days, save the whole ID reveal until later and instead move into training post-pit, so again we think "Oh, Logan post-beach." but it's "Rorke post-Caracas." instead. (Which again, we don't find out until later.)

tgck and bkdk parallels make so much more sense when you think of it as Katsuki paralleling Uraraka and Izuku paralleling Himiko instead of the other way around…

Kaka compilation

Because everyone is sleeping on him. Witness his greatness!! First two Kaka colored icons were colored by me, lineart by Ryoko Kui though!

Kaka & Kiki are kinda like Laios & Falin… Kaka being stoic and giving repressed energy like early Laios, Kiki being cryptic and always smiling and kinda soft-looking. Autism siblings 2, ostracized and othered as kids and have a deep bond due to sticking together through it all, though unlike with Laios their parents are very loving so Kaka developed family as a big value more than Laios (bc asides for Falin Laios doesn’t care much about it).

In the gnome festival comic you can see Kaka is more emotive than he seems! Full with a :3 face, and he’s the one crying at the end. He’s insecure about his legs and being tall… It really got to him. Conceal don’t feel. In the gnome festival comic you also see him sensing others’ gaze on him and that something is off unlike Kiki, again Laios-like in the way that judgement from others gets to him more than her.
