so you’re leaning across the console and his lap so you can chat the lady through the speaker or maybe even when you’re up at the second window (he’s paying at first) and when you’re in that spot he’s going kind of crazy

his hand is firmly on your ass and if your back is arched and your chest is pressed to his forearm that’s leaning on the window, he’s actually going to have to practice self restraint

if the person in the window is staring a little part of him wants to get angry but the other part is like “yeah me too”

if he had a semblance less self control he’d have you in the exact same position in the back but he’ll let you have your lunch first lest you get hangry on him

Magnolia had recently launched a new limited edition Salted Caramel Low Fat Milk so naturally we bought a carton to taste. It’s now available at NTUC for S$3.63, but you can get two for S$6.55 till 1 July 2024. Pouring myself a cup, the colour is off white or a very light shade of eggshell white if you asked me. Considering it tasted sweet, I am amazed that it got a Nutri-Grade B. The savouriness from the salted caramel isn’t as pronounced, coming in as an aftertaste with the unmissable warm and rich caramel filling the mouth.

Modern AU Suguru whose guilty-non-guilty pleasure idea of fun is to make people fall in love with him (just because he can) meets you, the new transfer, at the office and instantly decides you’re his next target.

He’s befriends you right off the bat. Seeks you out between breaks for a quick chat. Tries to get to know you more. Invites you out for an occasional drink that turns into full blown dinners and walks home. He gifts you little trinkets he finds reminding him of you— hold on. Wait a minute, Suguru’s world screeches to a halt with utmost urgency. Since when did he start to look forward to texting you first thing in the morning? Since when did he carve out a routine to see you outside of work at least once a week? Since when did he anticipate to see your smile, hear your laughter? Since when did his thoughts start to run circles around you every night before he sleeps? Since when did he start planning to have you meet his two disaster best friends? Since when, since when, since when—

Geto goes through a ‘minor’ crisis realising that he ended up falling in love with you instead of the intended other way ‘round. Gojo cackles so hard his sunglasses slips off his face, boisterous laughter only amplified by Ieiri’s, “I told you, dumbass.”, but the dark-haired man is still in denial nonetheless.

“There’s no way, Shoko—”, because where did he falter? When did he slip up? It’s not even his first rodeo, so why did this happen?? “—and shut up, Satoru!”

“And there’s no way his hair isn’t white.”, unimpressed and utterly over Geto’s shit, Ieiri blows a cloud of smoke into his face, strangely annoyed and sympathetic. Okay, maybe not that strangely. Maybe it’s her conscience kicking in because you’re actually a great friend to her and she’d hate to see you gone because of the man bun wearing block-head. “Get your shit together before it’s too late, Suguru.”

And maybe Geto should. Yeah. No. He definitely should. Like hell is he losing you to some lame baker who makes stale pastries 3 blocks down from your home (it’s not stale, he’s just jealous) or to that desperate creep from the company next door (they’re actually just an extrovert, he’s just jealous), and especially not to Fushiguro fucking Toji of all damn people (that’s a married and devoted man to his wife, he’s just jealous). So yeah, Suguru’s going to get his shit together alright.

Flowers from the moon

He stares into your eyes, searching them for any malicious intent. He’s pretty damn confused as he finds none. “Why have you summoned me here?” He asks, confused on your motive. You smile awkwardly at the white eyed man before you. “I…I was curious if you were real…” he raises his eyebrows in response, “of course I’m real.” He retorts, his eyes shine brightly in the twilight, they remind you of the moon, slowly peeking over the horizon.

  You find yourself inching closer to him, attempting to find a better angle. “What are you doing?” He asks as you approach him. He holds his ground as he stares at you expectantly. Your eyes are filled with wonder as you gaze into his milky, glowing eyes. “Your eyes are like the moon…” you whisper.

He’s taken aback by your compliment. No one has ever compared them to something so regal, so powerful, so… “beautiful…” you finish his thought aloud, and he smiles lightly. He stays quiet as you get close enough for a better view. “Wow…” you see how his eyes aren’t a perfect, blank white. He has pupils, and they are barely darker than his sclera.

He searches your eyes again, seeing your wonder and admiration for his eyes. “You’re an odd one.” He mumbles as he teleports away. You’re a bit disappointed when he leaves, but shrug it off as you head inside your humble cottage.

As time goes forward, you begin to see him more. He sometimes sits in the shadows of the trees, spying on you. You’ve seen him staring from the high ledges of cliffs, and the small tunnels in the large caverns. He seems to be everywhere, but you don’t mind. 

Eventually, he makes an unexpected move. He starts bringing you flowers, leaving them on your porch for you to find when you get home. You smile at his gesture, and leave small trinkets and treasures for him on the golden base of the shrine. He keeps everything you give him, and he makes sure its safe and that it won’t get ruined. 

This goes on for years. You two continue to go back and forth, as if you’re in some kind of game. The nearby villagers think you’re weird for doing this, but you don’t care. You enjoy the game.

Eventually, he gathers the courage to approach you again. He’s holding a small bunch of flowers in his large, rough hands. You’re just inside, reading a journal you found on a recent mining expedition, when you hear a soft knock on the door. “Now who could that be?” you narrate to yourself as you grip the door handle and open it. It’s him. He’s in his usual attire, the bright teal shirt and deep purple pants. 

Your eyes land on the bunch of flowers he’s holding. “These are for you..” He says, his voice dripping with embarrassment. A small smile finds your lips, and you meet his eyes. You take a step closer to him, rise to your tippy toes, and place a light kiss to his cheek. His stubble is prickly on your lips, but you don’t care. 

 “Thank you, Herobrine.”

Just bought the new limited edition F&N Magnolia Cookies & Cream Low Fat Flavoured Milk (S$3.63 per 946ml carton or two for S$6.55). It was out for a week or so but we couldn’t find it at the normal NTUC outlets. Sis finally got it from more atas (higher-end) FairPrice Finest at Bishan. Pouring myself a cup, this just look like ordinary milk at a glance. Took a sip, it is definitely sweeter than the plain milk with a subtle Oreo-ish cookies flavour. Although sweeter, the low fat milk still managed to score a Nutri-Grade B for the healthy label. Here, I am pairing it with an Apple Lattice pastry for my breakfast.
