Впервые сделала перерисовку (редрав) старого арта. Всегда видела примеры таких перерисовок и то, как они показывают видоизменение навыков и стиля. Вот только никак представить не могла, что сама это сделаю и увижу такую разницу... Конечно, мне есть куда стремиться, анатомия не даст соврать)) (но я над ней успешно работаю!) Есть огрехи, недоработки, ошибки. Учитывая, что такое количество людей на одном арте я давненько не рисовала в качестве! Но в целом... охх, у меня нет слов, вчера рассматривала работу около получаса! Я и представить не могла, что мой стиль изменился вот так! Что я смогла нарисовать вот таких персонажей, уже почти точь-в-точь, как их представляла в романах... боги, кто бы что ни говорил - для меня это ОГРОМНЕЙШИЙ скачок вперед! Действительно, говорят, что надо сравнивать себя не с другими. а с самим собой...  Ну, теперь пару слов по самим артам. Прилагаю две картинки, разумеется - оригинал 2020 года и новый вариант 2024. Да, взяла арт 4-хлетней давности, а не 5-ти, так как решила перерисовать как можно больше героев сразу, чтоб никого не обидеть) Тут нагляяяядно можно увидеть все изменения... старалась рисовать все так же, но некоторым решила поменять позы и вообще внести кое-какие поправки - мне так больше нравится))) Кто-то может не согласиться и сказать, что раньше было ��учше - однако тут я в первую очередь смотрю на техническое исполнение. А по характеру - старый арт более наивен и душевен, новый - более серьезен и строг. По значению они равно важны для меня и оба их я люблю. Если кто их вдруг забыл - дорогие и любимые Рейстлин, Тика, Карамон, Лорана, Флинт, Танис, Тассельхоф, Стурм, Речной Ветер, Золотая Луна.

Because I clearly have nothing better to do with my time, I present the cast of Dragonlance created in Baldur's Gate 3. Order of rows from left to right: Tanis, Gilthanas, Laurana, Kitiara, Caramon, Raistlin, Riverwind, Goldmoon, Sturm, Tasslehoff, Flint, Tika.

Mods are used for unique faces and hair styles. Tasslehoff is the only one I'm dissatisfied with. Then again, Elmore always made him look like an old man so...

Bonus are a few of my characters I've played. First is my wild magic sorcerer OC Yurielle from my Dragonlance fanfic The Star and The Hourglass because I love her and thinks she's neat. Next is Venilia, my tiefling monk of the four elements I ran on honor mode. Then Ariallah, my drow draconic sorcerer/spore druid redeemed dark urge. Then is Morouk, my fallen Aasimar barbarian evil dark urge (sadly, I had to delete the mods for him because certain patches completely broke these saves, but he was fun!) Lastly is my newest character Usha, half-orc spore druid evil dark urge. This save is replacing my fallen aasimar. She will build her castle with bones...

Hearth Cat and Winter Wren

Okay, so I randomly found a dragonlance novel in an old book store with a collection of short stories.

One of which describes a small adventure the original companions had before the war of the lance when they were still in Solace.

And ppl, it's adorable so i'm gonna do a summary and share the good bits here. (Spoilers. Obviously)

We're starting out with a squirrel having a conversation with a cat. The squirrel is distraught because it's caged, afraid of the cat, and hardly fed. It is having strange dreams, though. And squirrel are not supposed to have dreams.

Cut to the Flint. He is in his house, carving, surrounded by some of his young companions and trying hard not to show that he's worried for Tasslehoff. Because he's run off after a 'talking wren' some days ago.

Back to the squirrel and the cat. The cat reveals that it hasn't always been a cat and suspects the squirrel hasn't always been a squirrel either.

To everyone's surprise, a talking wren does indeed turn up in Solace. She tells Sturm and the others that she was turned by a mage, along with a man called Petyr who got turned into a cat. And a kender who became a squirrel. They decide to hurry to their rescue. Raistlin has a plan.

So, (never mind that he shouldn't hold such power yet. He hasn't even taken the test at this point.) Raistlin turns Flint into a shepherd dog, Sturm into a falcon, Caramon into a panther, and Tanis into a fox.

They infiltrate the mage's house, overpower him and force him to turn back bird, cat, and squirrel. Raistlin deals with the mage.

And afterwards, companions and the two rescued people gather in Flint's house again and he gives Wren his carving.

Adorable, right?

A dragon’s head with a forked blue tongue was lunging at them. Tanis blinked in disbelief, then he heard a sound behind him that nearly made him leap into a tree in panic. He whirled around, heart in his throat, sword in his hand.

Raistlin was laughing.

Tanis had never heard the mage laugh before, even when Raistlin was a child, and he hoped he would never hear it again. It was weird, shrill, mocking laughter. Caramon stared at his brother in amazement, Goldmoon in horror. Finally the sound of Raistlin’s laughter died until the mage was laughing silently, his golden eyes reflecting the glow of the draconian camp going up in flames.

Tanis shuddered and turned around to see that in fact the dragon’s head was carried by Sturm and Riverwind. Flint raced along in front, a draconian helm on his head. Tanis ran forward to meet them.

“What in the name of–”

“The kender’s stuck in here!” Sturm said. He and Riverwind dropped the head to the ground, both of them breathing heavily. “We’ve got to get him out.” Sturm eyed the laughing Raistlin warily. “What’s the matter of him? still poisoned?”

“No, he’s better,” Tanis said, examining the dragon’s head.

Being captured by draconians and Tasslehoff becoming a dragon is no big deal, but Raistlin laughing? That’s upsetting.
