Slumber party question! What's your earliest memory of encountering beauty? The first thing you can recall where you looked at something and were struck by how beautiful it was?

#i'm asking because i heard 'colors of the wind' today #and i remembered when i was little #i saw a commercial for pocahontas in front of one of our movies #and it showed 'colors of the wind'#and i distinctly remember a shot where she's standing on a cliff with her hair streaming back and leaves swirling around her #and thinking it was the most beautiful thing i'd ever seen in my life #(i didn't see the movie until i was much older and was very underwhelmed)#i also recall going to a county fair where a woman was selling doll clothes #and there was a pink dress with a skirt made of layers and layers of lace #i thought it was the most beautiful dress in the world and mom got it for me #(at a time when there was not much spare cash)#the other earliest moment is a memory of getting to walk beside my mother as she went to communion #and being so happy because my church had stained glass windows showing the mysteries of the rosary #so the front right corner showed the coronation of mary #and i thought that window was the loveliest thing i'd ever seen #it was the beautiful window into heaven only grown-ups got to see but this was my chance

just watched transformers one for the second time (y'all should go see it) and its kinda funny how there's a couple of times in the movie while d-16 is slowly turning dark that orion pax is staring at the back of his head and you can see this playing on loop:

You wanna know the most heartbreaking realization I just had about Mary and Arthur's relationship? That her love for him was never gonna be able to compete with his loyalty and love for Dutch. She never stood a chance. They were doomed from the start.

A part of me thinks she expected too much from Arthur during a time when he couldn't be a better man for her, even when he wanted to be. But that would mean having to leave Dutch and it stopped him from choosing his own happiness. So, near the end, he regrets not choosing a life with Mary.

But even if he didn't lose faith in Dutch, or get sick and the gang managed to survive he wouldn't have chosen a life with Mary. Even if he wanted those things, longed for it he wouldn't have left.

ive posted Jasmine before but never her siblings!!

Iva is actually Karlof's biological daughter but was adopted by the two of them after some shenanigans. She takes more of a samurai x role! Albeit not a samurai.. maybe like a warrior?

[Karlof didn't want to be a father and had only learned of her after her birth (I think I wrote that her mother just didn't want her??). Anyways after encountering the ninja, he brings up not being sure what to do.! He's absolutely miserable like this!! And he can't send her someplace like an orphanage because she's the child of an elemental master! Cole agrees to try and find a place for her.. but along the way winds up adopting her with Zane]

CJ is just a silly guy... he's a lot more cautious than most of the others (apart from one) and is often the one to point out "do we WANT to do this? Is this a good idea?"

anyways here's the other goobers, idk if I wanna keep Marina and Cliff around since I'm not a huge jaya fan. I like them! I just am not sure about them...

Axel is the kid of Skylor and Pixal!!
