Shipping, plurality and squick explanations under the cut.
Our ships: We are a polyshipper and a multishipper. We ship multiple characters together in the same context, in the same relationship, in the same fics etc.
A "ship" for us does not equal in OTP or an ideal relationship. We use the word "ship" to denote any romantic or sexual relationship between two characters, even when that relationship is unhealthy, toxic, twisted, and bad for one or both participants. Ships are a narrative tool, not something aspirational.
Plurality: We are a plural system– many people living together in one body. We have been plural since we were children, and we have been blogging about our plurality for 15+ years.
Please do not use psychiatric or pathologizing terminology for our plurality. We do not refer to ourselves with terms like DID, alter, or introject, and our system members do not have defined roles.
Our preferred terminology is: plural, system member, and fictive.
System members tend to sign or tag posts and refer to one another with a two emoji 'signature' rather than a name. Unsigned posts are understood to be a product of multiple members or a joint consensus.
squicks / tropes we prefer to avoid
non-con of any kind (but especially underage non-con and non-con incest)
pregnancy & babies (especially as the joyful and expected result of a romantic hetero-presenting relationship)
nonbinary or trans characters deciding it's better for them to perform their assigned gender at birth
Characters submitting to the will of a lawful aligned god.
Parental control and discipline being shown as narratively positive and correct
characters giving up their careers and aspirations and 'settling down' when they fall in love
prophecies that are unavoidable and/or narratively depicted as inherently good and just
characters following the life-path set out for them by their parents/following in their parents footsteps
filial duty and filial piety in general
pretty much anything to do with traditional family structures, gender roles, and lawful aligned religion, honestly
wing whump / characters having their monstrous or inhuman traits harmed
monstrous or inhuman characters becoming human (especially when presented as positive)
soul destruction / soul death
characters being metaphysically kept apart for all time
any kind of 'conversion therapy' or metaphorical conversion therapy (especially being portrayed as positive)
We are:

"I don't like this Prophecy of Seven that Mars told me about. Seven is an unlucky number in Chinese - a ghost number."
I didn't know China found the number 7 unlucky. Usually (at least in the west), you tend to hear of seven being a lucky, almost spiritual number. Or at least, I swear that's what I've heard before. So it's interesting to see a different perspective on that. I looked it up after I got home from school, and it seems like this really is a big thing in the eastern countries.

PLANET MEANINGS IN ASTROLOGY
[READ] People often question why there’s so many meanings for each planet/house and the reason is so that you can learn more than just one thing about yourself through each placement. Otherwise astrology would be very vague and boring. These are all meanings that I’ve learned from my astrology classes at Kepler College

What prophecy?
Oh one of the matrons at my old boarding school was like all spiritual and really into palmistry and stuff and she knew that my parents couldn't conceive a child, so they adopted me, and every time she saw me, she'd tell everyone 'oh Eleanor is going to have so many children when she's older, she has to have them because her mother could not, the children lines on her palms are so defined.'
And I was like - A) I'm twelve. B) SHutup.

I’m gonna go on a tangent about Laura Lees wasted potential.
I relate so much to Laura Lees character. I used to be a very devout Christian and was very known throughout all of my secular school and friends as a Christian. Everything that Laura Lee did in the show like pray constantly and reading her Bible in public and saying “you are beautiful in the eyes of the world”— I did too. And like Laura Lee I was always very interested in the “spiritual” side of Christianity like prophecies or speaking in tongues.
So trust me when I say as a former Laura Lee… she would have gone crazy in the woods and it would have been an amazing character arc if they let it happen.
There’s a reason that Laura connected so much to Lottie. They both have this connection with the spiritual and it’s never clear if this connection is actual divinity (God/The Wilderness) or underlying mental health issues. A lot of people who get deep in the faith like Laura Lee and I did, end up getting diagnosed with OCD.
Once I left Christianity I deep dived into the occult. And I think that if they kept Laura Lees character for the whole show she would have left Christianity and deep dived into worshipping the Wilderness.
Not a lot of people leave a toxic religion like Christianity and the church and enter a healthy relationship with Atheism or spirituality. They just join another cult or struggle with depression and existentialism.
Seeing Laura Lee go through that transition to innocent church girl who loves everyone to crazy deer worshipping cult leader who eats her friends would have been AMAZING.
In every church girl there’s a deep well of darkness cause you know the wrath of God and of Hell. Seeing Laura Lee embrace that darkness with every ounce of her being and co-lead a cult with Lottie would bring a truly unique storyline to this show.

Something Universal - pt. 1
A/N: I was just listnening to an Audiobook that really highlights subconsciousness and spiritual laws and I thought how cool would it be if Professor Trawlaney had a daughter that is very similar to her. I also am at the seaside and have literally nothing else to do than waste my phone battery and read.
Pairing: Fred Weasley x reader
XX
When it comes to unseen, invisible and unknown power of the Universe, people like to turn a blind eye. People, Muggles, Wizards and Witches run from the universal power, simply because they cannot accept that there is something more powerful than them.
You’ve transformed yourself to suit other people’s beliefs but the urge, the curiosity in you just didn’t let you be that.
You were the apple of your mother’s eye, witty, beautiful and spiritual. You’ve never shown any gift of seeing beyond the third dimension but you have tried. You have tried so many practices but it just wasn’t in you. The gift just didn’t descend and though you were frustrated, you were also relieved. A part of you wanted to carry on your mother’s legacy, another part was relieved you wouldn’t witness the horrors the gift can bring.
Your mother was the greatest mother to be. Your childhood was brought up in muddy feet and much joy-brought adventures. There was so much light in your child years, where you can remember painting freely with your fingers, shaped cut out potatoes, sponges, brushes and anything your eye could find. Every single moment with your mother was colourful and happy- as if every day was a holiday, something worth celebrating. Your mother always asked you, each and every day, what were you thankful for and your answers were easily answered; the food, the grass, the rainy day so the two of you could spend time inside, cleaning with music on, dancing and especially… her.
Until- just a few years before your Hogwarts admission a tall, magnificent man walked into the house.
*flashback*
“Professor Dumbledore. To what do I owe this visit?” your mother smiled through an unexpected surprise.
“Mrs. (y/l/n), good day. May I come in?” He gestured, flicking his eyes to you and seeing a small glint in it. Back then your mother still had your father’s last name… all before this day.
Your father stepped in front of you, tall as he was also magnificent, he smiled and held your chin in his large hand. He smiled gently, reassuringly. He brushed his thumb over your cheek before walking to the visitor. “Professor Dumbledore, to what do we owe this late pleasure of the evening?” He smiled widely, showing his famous, charming smile.
“Well, I come on some private business- the one I think is meant for more adult ears.” He said as he walked to you, squatting to your level.
Though he was, he still intimidated you with his presence. You could almost feel the strength of his aura, blasting you away with it but you stood firmly on the ground. “You’ve got strong magic in yourself, miss. I hope you will bless our magical school with it.”
This time it was your mother that stepped in front of you, blocking the view with her long skirt. Her eyes weren’t surprised anymore, they were protective. “Go to your room, (y/n).”
And with that you ran up stairs and stopped at the end to listen. You knew you should go to your room. Your mother’s voice changed tone only when she was serious, when that was on very rare occasions.
You still stayed and listened- your intuition told you so. Your ears missed most of Dumbledore’s proposal but your mother and father talked loud and clear enough for you to hear.
“I do know I owe you my education, professor but I do not wish to tap into the future for your purposes- not for what you are about to ask me.”
“Your gift, Mrs. (Y/l/n), is extremely rare in this world. It is not to simply tell the future, it’s the prophecy of the war.”
“Exactly, the prophecies do not work as readings. They have their own power- they are simply dangerous to mind and soul.” She said frustrated and you could feel your father comforting her.
“I know of prophecies.” Said Dumbledore. “ I know I ask many of you but I also offer you, no matter the consequences or results, you and your family will be taken care of.”
“Meaning?”
“Meaning your daughter would be under my protection if her gifts develop as yours did.” He said. “And this has been a thought as well before my proposal but I will be in a need of a Divination class when the old centaur retires.”
“That is wonderful news.” Your father exclaimed and you could see the smile on his face. It wasn’t easy to forget. “Sybill…” he pleaded. “Think of our little girl- wouldn’t you want to know that she is safe in the near future? In this world… in this war…” his voice got quieter.
“I never want to read into her future…” she said and you smiled because she promised you she would never and you knew you were safe forever.
*end of flashback*
Yet she did. Arguments after arguments with your father, who pleaded for stability, meanwhile your mother pleaded for safety. Your father reassured her how strong she is, that nothing can break her, not this prophecy, since she had survived many before. But she was weary, your mother, because becoming cocky didn’t belong into her character and she was afraid.
But what was one more prophecy. She promised him this one, the last one, and never again. She did not want to put the mother of her child in danger. To lose herself, you as well.
And you knew, you felt it. Something was in the air that day. It was and you knew it was a bad thing to do but she smiled and reassured you. You pleaded with your father, but he cupped your chin as always, he brushed his thumb over your cheek and he smiled. It worked like a charm. You were safe. You were always safe.
Until you were proven right.
Your mother wasn’t your mother no more. You lost her slowly. The day after, she felt “under the weather” but one day turned into one month soon after. She was pale like the wall behind her. She had no shine whatsoever.
Nothing was happy and colourful after that day. Your father tried but he never did his safe movement. He smiled but his eyes never did. Must have been the guilt.
You tried but it was like talking to a stranger.
Your mother almost went blind from the prophecy, so your father made sure she got the prescripted glasses, which took all of her facial features. Her whole appearance changed and you knew, your father didn’t recognise her as well. But he tried and he tried until there came a day when he saw the burdon it took upon you.
“I am thankful for today’s sun.” You said just before you were turning 11. You took her hand but she moved it away, her eyes bulging through those horrible glasses. Your heart broke and you could feel something hard form in your throat. “I went out to buy some school supplies with dad… we had fun so I am thankful for that too…” your voice starting to wander off as you realised you are talking to a stranger.
“That’s wonderful, dear.” She said as if she knew who you were. “And your mum?” She asked and you felt tears form in your eyes. “Oh, I didn’t mean to upset you. Is she not in the picture.”
You smiled through the tears. Memory loss was present for a few months now but still you weren’t used to it. “She’s not herself lately. She couldn’t come.”
“Oh, that’s a shame.” She said, her voice wandering off as she looked into the sky. She then looked at you, confused and disoriented. “Dear… where am I exactly?”
And that was pretty much the last normal conversation you had. She had her memory of her childhood and her life at Hogwarts but you and your father were very much out of the picture.
Your father felt guilty for it. You knew. He wasn’t himself and he took up drinking. It was your auntie, his sister, that sobered him up and he turned to be hard as a rock. The guilt was there… but he hid it behind a hard exterior. He said he had to be tough for the both of you but the truth was, you needed him to be soft again. You needed his smile, his gentle hand raising your chin up when everything felt low. That never happened.
Now you sat in the Divination class, looking at your mother scrambling her things into her large purse and silently talking to herself.
You smiled… you smiled because she did that whether she was crazy or not and that comforted you. It did. It gave you hope that maybe she was still in there- after all these years.
“Khm…” you heard somebody behind you and you turned around, startled.
There was a completely different lightning when you spun around and you couldn’t see whether there was a brown-haired boy- no, red-haired, looking down onto you or a tree, taller than ever.
Until he squatted down to your level, his brown comforting eyes setting on yours and his smile, charming as ever. The feeling of seeing his face felt almost familiar… felt warm. “Thought you might now that the class is over.” He spoke softly and you smiled just as back.
“Yeah, I’m sorry.” You said, scrambling your things as well and holding tightly onto your bag. “I just got lost in thought.” You got onto your feet and almost knocking yourself down as your foot got stuck onto the robe.
His hand placed itself on your waist, pulling you slightly back up. Despite that you didn’t fall, he was still ready to catch you.
He removed his hand to avoid discomfort but he eyed your mom and grinned. “Spoke to her about my last assignment. Let me go easy for not turning it in.” He said as he gestured your hand to walk in front of him.
You kindly took to gesture.
“I saw you sitting up there, thought you might entered some universal state from the way your eyes were fixated on the professor.” He said and you felt your cheeks flush from embarrassment.
“Like I said… I got lost in the train of thought.” You replied.
“Yeah, thought I might do a good deed there and check if you were alright.” He smiled and you let out a short laughter.
“No wish to go to hell?” You eyed him.
“That wish evaporated a long time ago.” He whistled for the effect and both of you laughed. “You seem to admire her though… professor Trawlaney, I mean.” He said and you stopped to look at him. “I saw it in your eyes when I looked up. Usually, people-“
“People are cruel.” You finished for him. “And she does have a special place in my heart.” You continued to walk slowly. Nobody knew she was your mother, not even the staff in this school… nobody except the Headmaster and your father. “And that’s the truth.”
He stopped at the intersection and continued to look at you. “Something… something…” he started but it was as if he was lost for words.
“Something what?” You laughed.
“I can’t put words together but something about you…”

PAC: 🎯
Your contributions to this world are not dependent on if you can do math well or not. To contribute can mean to contribute to culture, to art, to STEM, to Lit, to the act of loving, and to the act of living. Your worth is not dependent on one intelligence that some possess but the intelligence that you do and fully possess and develop
Disclaimer: please take what I say with a grain of salt and not as the gospel. I just want to share some ideas of practicing and giving advice using the medium as often as I can with school, work, and my own personal studies and practice. But I am working on sharing my notes soon so that will be exciting! Liking and sharing does a lot 🥰

Your contributions may not manifest is what you know, but what you don’t know and the wanderings you partake to figure things out. Not known to be a magician but known to be on a fools journey ever wandering for growth and knowledge.

You are the personality hire. You bring your fun and glowing personality to any prison like institution you walk into. Even if the institution dims creative, intellectual, and spiritual light yours always shines through.

The hardships and the clownish mockery of the hardships. No one said character development was easy but at least you’re funny and able to carry out conversations and have in-depth understanding of people which you are able to use to joke and gossip (my two fav activities) (if you think the occasional clown and kiki is bad u aren’t in the gang)

I find Americans talking about religion fascinating because they think the weird pentecostal/evangelical eschatology cults are Normal Christianity and not like. a really specific thing.
and that is by no means to say Christianity elsewhere is less fucked up but it's different.
like Americans will say stuff like "like most Christians, this cult believes we're in the end times and have to reclaim Zion to bring about Revelations, but what's weird about their beliefs is..." and it's like???? WHAT DO YOU MEAN LIKE MOST CHRISTIANS?????
like Scotland's still a pretty Christian country. some of the biggest sociopolitical divides are Christian sectarianism. we got Presbyterians we got Catholics we got Episcopalians we got Quakers (hi) we got Baptists and Methodists and Jehovah's Witnesses and so on. half of the population are Christian. but I don't think I have ever met more than a handful of people whose Christian belief is focused on Revelations and the end times. that's weird stuff my guys.
my outside appraisal of American Christianity is that it looks really very samey. there doesn't seem to be a lot of significant theological difference, or tbh aesthetic difference, between a good number of the major churches. worship practise, structure, and the focus on sin, evangelism and apocalypse seem to be way more common threads there than in Europe. and I feel like people grow up in that and think that means all Christianity is the same as that. which like. it isn't.
A lot of folks I know who've been to American Quaker communities, for example, have been really surprised at how much some Meetings in the US are cramming into the same episcpentamethodbaptitradcathevangelist church model - fire and brimstone preachers, our god is a great big god songs, focus on end times prophecy - and it just doesn't. line up with the degree of diversity in practise and focus for different Christian sects in most other parts of the world. where like. those types of churches also exist (the evangelical born-again rapture and damnation churches) but they're one approach among many.
and again that's not cause like. Christianity is only bad in the US and not bad anywhere else. Christianity does a lot of social good and a looooooot of social harm everywhere. but it's wild what Americans, Christian or otherwise, seem to take as the baseline beliefs of global Christianity. like I went to a Church of England school and I don't believe I was ever taught about Revelations, let alone the rapture or young earth ideology or biblical literalist creationism, except, eventually, as a thing some other people believe and it's weird. when the young earth creationists came into my secondary school to prostyletize it was a bloodbath cause every 14 year old in that room was like "what r u talking about m8 that's cult shit".
what I'm saying is: there's not a huge amount of universal Christian beliefs across all sectors except like "God is there. There's some Bible which contains some amount of spiritual value for some amount of literal interpretation. Jesus? Pretty great and important guy. Probably the son of God or actually God or some secret third thing." and everything else there's some dissent on. but of the things that are broadly though not fully universal - maybe like heaven, hell, sin, redemption through faith or deed, the resurrection, a physical/spiritual divide, prayer, some key holidays etc - I don't think that 'weirdly intense eschatology involving reclaiming Zion, global warfare, the Antichrist, decades of torturous end times, physical rapture etc' is in that mix. that's your country's weird thing that it's since exported through cultural colonialism, just like Christianity itself was largely exported through European cultural colonialism.

Greaves Ester
Age 25
He/him Male
Timber Wolf
Pyro, Spectral, Spiritual Magic
Relatives: Dove (mother), Felix (father), Jay (father, legally), Mieka (sister), Lenna (sister)
Friends: Kamu (partner), Lucius
Greaves is the general of the Wildland Army and King Lucius’ closest ally. Greaves was born and raised in the Desert District with his mother, Dove Ester, and father, Jay Ester. Greaves’ family lived a secluded life in the Desert where Greaves had no formal access to schooling. Greaves devoted most of his childhood and teen years protecting his younger siblings, Mieka and Lenna.
When Greaves was a teen, his parents became progressively more abusive. Jay and Dove gradually stopped returning home, and eventually burned down the family home, killing Lena, Mieka, and Greaves. Somehow, Greaves woke up in the charred remains of his home as a Specter. Unsure how he survived and not knowing where to go, Greaves wandered the Desert District until he was captured by Wildland soldiers where he met Prince Lucius II and slowly befriended him.
While at the Wildlands Castle, Greaves suffered through heavy depression and found himself coping by doing work at the castle, eventually becoming the Wildland Army General. As time passed, Greaves started to work with Lucius and Guardian Relic in researching the Whistold Prophecy. While Lucius researched the Prophecy, Greaves left the castle and the Wildland Army now refers to him as an exile.
Extra Notes:
Greaves’ third eye on his forehead is somewhat sensitive so he tends to cover it with a blindfold.
When Greaves woke up after the fire, he had a lantern at his side with no visible damage. The lantern houses spirits that Greaves encounters, starting with one of his younger sisters.
Greaves typically stays in his inverted wolf form, even around Wildland Castle, due to his large size. He doesn’t like the feeling of looking down on everyone.
Greaves has a tendency to burn his hands, but his fur grows back fairly quickly. He usually wears gloves to hide his hands and avoid questions about the scarring. Despite the fur growing back quickly, his hands are still rough and scarred even when the fur isn't burned off.
Due to the fire that killed him as a teen, Greaves is somewhat hard of hearing and has a poor sense of smell, though he’s gotten used to it and never mentions it, so most people don’t realize.

and truly i could overlook having Prophecies and assume theres just something a little silly with my brain that doesnt affect my functioning at all so it's fine. or that its a spiritual experience or messages from god or something. right. but u know my "im literally so at peace with it" stick figure drawing that blew up . well i made it in mid august 2023 because i had been emailing with my school's ODS and had to accept i wouldnt be able to get moved from my triple room to a single before the semester started. but the thing was . i had a really specific scenario i was specifically afraid of. which was that when i was placed in my triple room, one of my roommates would be gone a lot, and the other would be nonbinary (but i wouldnt know til i met them bc they wouldnt have changed their name in the school system yet). and they would seem friendly but within the first few weeks of school, sometime during the day when the other roommate was going to be gone for a few days, they would sexually assault me. Those familiar with my lore will recognize that this is Exactly Beat For Beat What Happened To Me Last Year. and every time i see it reposted on instagram i remember i knew exactly what would happen several weeks before it happened and i go woah. what the fuck

The Husky And The White Cat Shizun With Their Baobei [Rewritten Version]
Chapter 1
Any gender
Loving someone takes time. The thing with this world is that everyone’s time is limited. Even the supposedly immortal creatures still ended up dying. The only thing that was left after a heartfelt promise was ashes. Once lovers turn into enemies. The sword thrusting deeply into each other’s chest as each side spat out blood. In the end, they ended up dying in the hands of their former partner. It was almost embarrassing, to say the least, for Taxian-Jun. His lover killed him; he killed his lover. All is fair. And all is unfair. That’s the cycle of life.
—-
A child of a nobleman got accepted into Sisheng Peak. The child was born with a weak essence of fire and a weak spiritual core. The most that the child could ever accomplish was lighting the fireplace. The nobleman and his wife were content with knowing that their child was able to awaken their spiritual core at a much earlier age than the others. Only to be disappointed when they find out that their child still struggles with making any fire appear. The nobleman spends a large sum to purchase pills that increase the output of the fire essence. All the attempts failed.
In the end, the nobleman and his wife could only accept that their child wasn’t a prophecy. But that didn’t make them despise the kid. The youngster was the only one that was born to them; the wife struggled with fertility, and it was after great difficulty that she finally became pregnant. The little one had no friends, since upon news of their ‘disability’, the other families were worried that their child would also be cursed with a lack of talents. The nobleman was furious upon knowing how the others were treating his kid for something that they couldn’t even control; however, there was nothing much that he could do. The nobleman was rich; therefore, he purchased a black dog. From that day on, the black dog became their loyal companion and best friend.
The nobleman was fortunate to have such an understanding and mature kid. The kid went from having tantrums every once in a while to hardly ever having one ever since their 6th birthday. Ever since the little one saw kids playing with each other, they wanted to join in; however, they were always stopped by their parents. They didn’t know that it was because their parents didn’t want to see them heartbroken upon being directly rejected by the other kids. Therefore, they always throw tantrums since they want to hang out with real people. And a dog doesn’t count as one.
But that stopped after they turned six years old. Almost as if they had become another person, they stopped having tantrums and actually ended up taking their study even more seriously. Even their once favorite dishes no longer suit their new taste buds. They spend more time with the black dog, not giving any mention about wanting real kids as their friends.
As long as their child was saved and sound, they didn’t care that their child had changed a lot within a year. As soon as somebody obtained a core, they would attend a cultivation school in order to enhance it. A weak core means that a person will not be able to cultivate. It is rare, but some people are just simply not cut out for cultivating. It was more likely for kids to not have any core than to have a weak one. For one to have a weak one, they’re destined to stay weak for the rest of their life; they’re almost no different from someone who doesn’t have any core.
The thing that the nobleman and his wife worried about most was that their child would get bullied after the disciples realized the child’s cultivation wasn’t improving at all after all those years. The news about the child’s progress was kept private until a servant spread the news around, resulting in criticism remarks. That servant expectedly got fired after that incident.
As the child turned 13 years old, there was still no improvement in their spiritual energy. If not for their child trying to convince them, they wouldn’t have attempted to put the child into a sect. The parents picked a lower cultivation realm sect since the upper cultivation realm sects all required excellent cores and essences. There was another way to get into the Upper Cultivation Realm without having to face the requirements, and that was by paying the sect a large sum of gold. The nobleman could afford it, but in the end, it all depends on the child on which sect to go to.
The child reassured the couple that they’d be fine being in a lower cultivation realm sect. In the end, the child picked to join Sisheng Peak. After finishing the trial and putting on a waitlist, the child was officially selected as a disciple of Sisheng Peak. The next step was to pick an elder as a master. The child wanted the Yuheng Elder as their Shifu, only to be coldly rejected at their attempts. A day turned into a week; a week turned into a month. A month turned into a year. The seasons change from spring to autumn as the year progresses. The child still didn’t have a teacher.
The parents attempted to convince their child to pick another master; however, their child was stubborn and didn’t want anyone else. To not fall behind, the child suggested the mother teach them pinyin. With great difficulty, the child was able to pronounce each Chinese letter accurately. As time grew, the child ended up becoming the only disciple without a master. Maybe it was out of pity or something else when the Yuheng Elder accepted them into his guidance.
The Yuheng Elder began to teach them the basic curriculum of studying the four arts, arithmetic, pinyin, and the basics of reading and writing. The child meets the rest of Yuheng Elder’s disciples, Xue Meng and Shi Mei. Xue Meng and Shi Mei were the same age as the new disciple. The new disciple seemed to have already known about those two, knowing their habits, likings, and dislikings beforehand. That helped avoid unnecessary conflict.
By the third year, the sect leader Xue Zhengyong found the missing son of his deceased older brother. Xue Zhengyong introduced his nephew to the sect members. and from then, everybody knew that his name was Mo Ran. Mo Ran was referred to as Master Mo as a formal title. Mo Ran has to wait until the next disciple selection ceremony to pick a teacher. By the time that the ceremony has started, Mo Ran has already set on picking Yuheng Elder as his master.
As fate took its toll, Mo Ran got accepted as Yuheng Elder’s new disciple. That nobleman’s child became childhood friends with the mischievous young master Mo. A friendship that became secret lovers as the years progressed. Mo Ran still has an interest in his Shixiong Shi Mei, even after making empty promises that he’ll always stay loyal to his secret lover. Only to later on, interact affectionately with Shi Mei. He went from doing it behind the back of his secret lover to doing it openly as he became more bold.
In the end, it was no surprise that the nobleman’s child decided to end the relationship with Mo Ran. Mo Ran didn’t seem to be at all sad about it; he was too enamored with his Shixiong Shi Mei to care about it. In a blink of an eye, the cultivation world went into chaos. Mo Ran became the emperor, married the world’s most beautiful woman, and ruled over the cultivation world.
——-
Ever since Elder Yuheng’s death, things have gotten silent in the palace halls. The other side of the bed was left empty with nobody but Taxian-Jun laying there. His empress, Song Qiutong, much to her displeasure, got no visit from the Emperor. Just when she thought that without the concubine, the emperor would focus on only her, unfortunately she was wrong.
—
The tyrant was dead. Everybody was happy. Except one.
- For those that have read my other fanfic, The Misery of the Songstress’ Child. This fanfic is slightly connected to that, but mostly different. For this: Mo Ran didn’t have any young companions during his time in the brothel. Xun Fengruo and Duan Yihan didn’t get kidnapped. Xun Fengruo wasn’t pregnant. However, the childhood events between Xun Fengruo and Duan Yihan still occurred. In this life, Xun Fengruo was able to live with her husband and her son more peacefully than the version from the other fanfic.
- The nobleman and his wife did have suspicions, but maybe it was too hard to accept the truth that their beloved child was gone. A couple years with the lie, and soon the lie turns into the truth. Better to lie to oneself than to realize that they completely failed themselves.
- There’s no fixing anyone in this life.
- This is a lighter version of fanfic than the other one.
- Xue Meng found the two piles of ashes, and a pendant that he formerly gifted you lay next to the ashes. Only then did he realize he was too late.
- Without Taxian Jun’s spiritual energy, Chu Fei’s corpse also ends up turning into ashes.
- To kill Taxian-Jun wouldn’t be that easy, maybe he has accepted to die this way as well.
- Song Qiutong attempted to do all the ruling, only for it to fail miserably since the political parties didn't think a woman could rule. In the end, not even the guards take her seriously. The title of empress became a powerless title without the tyrant.
It went from 67 chapters to around 20 chapters since I want to take time to plan each chapter and I don’t think I can include every single information (the process of the missions, but I’ll attempt to give a brief summary) from 2HA into this fanfic.

I posted this in a reblog earlier but I think I should make it it's own post
Believe it or not, there are actually many different types of zionism as it is a complex political movement that existed for over 1000 years as a loosely connected set of ideas and saying it proposes that Jewish people are more entitled to Palestine than Palestinians is a huge oversimplification and for most types of zionism is just completely false.
Here's a little crash course on different types of zionism
Political Zionism: this is how zionism started and it is basically everything Theodore Herzl said in Der Judenstaat (The Jewish State). basically the idea that the establishment of a Jewish state (preferably in Palestine but anywhere will do) is necessary to prevent the genocide of Jews and for Jews to have somewhere to go when their lives are in danger. The belief here is that for Jews to truly have any sort of security Jews need to have sovereignty over their own state. It is a response to antisemitism.
Revisionist Zionism: this is the one that y'all are all familiar with. This one also formed as a response to antisemitism but with a bit less patience. It was most popular in central and east europe with Jews who were waiting to immigrate because of the astounding amounts of antisemitism in europe at the time. This one calls for mass Jewish settlement in Israel with the goal of making a Jewish majority in Palestine. They became very popular because they would facilitate mass migrations from europe to palestine during Holocaust times. This is the zionism of the Likud party which Netanyahu is a part of.
Religous Zionism: religous zionism advocated for the establishment of a Jewish state for religous reasons. Basically all the, it's a Jewish holy land stuff and how there are some mitzvot that can only be fulfilled in Israel. There was also a prophecy and stuff about Jews returning to Israel it's a whole thing.
Socialist/Labor zionism: This was the most prominent form of zionism for Jews living in Palestine just before Israel was established and many of Israel's founders were socialist zionists. They believed that the rise of capitalism would spark class struggles in other countries that would exacerbate existing antisemitism and working class Jews would be forced to move. The idea was that there had to be a Jewish state where those Jews could escape to to avoid antisemitism. These guys actually did a lot of really cool things under very bad conditions. They spread modern Hebrew, made uninhabitable parts of Israel into fertile land, and set up a lot of schools. Many of them had just recently escaped genocide or had families being genocided in Europe. At this point in time they were also being constantly massacred by Palestinian Arabs (there's a whole thing with Nazis spreading their propoganda in the Middle East at this time in an effort to kill more Jews then later the soviets did something similar it's a whole thing. There were also general tensions and the British did not help at all). Depending on the person or group, whether the socialism or zionism is more emphasized can vary.
Spiritual Zionism: these are the people who don't believe Palestine can hold all the Jews and rather than being a designated safe space for all Jews to go in case of emergency it should be a religous hub that would help the diaspora regain their spirituality
Messianic Zionism: this is an extremist group. This one developed around the six-day-war and is honestly kind of culty from what I'm seeing. They believe Israel belongs to the Jews by divine decree. They would like ban people from even interacting with Arabs and were only tolerated until Israel started trading back land in peace treaties. Then one of them assassinated Yitzchak Rabin (generally loved prime minister cause he signed a bunch of peace treaties). They're controversial at best terrorists at worst. we don't like these ones at all.
Christain Zionism: there's some sort of christain belief that all the Jews returning to Israel is part of the end of times prophecy so they will organize trips for Jews to move to Israel. They're actually pretty antisemitic. Christain zionists generally support the oppression of Palestinians and also a whole lot of other horrible things.
Please just understand that zionism ≠ supports Israel's actions against Palestine. For a lot of people it means Jews should have a safe space to go in case of antisemitism or Israel is a holy land for Jews too and we'd like to also live there and have a bit of sovereignty. There are in fact zionists who would like there to be one Jewish and Palestinian state where Palestinians and Jews have somewhat equal political power, that actually was one of the suggestions back before 1948 and it ended up falling through.
Also, please please please go research some history of Palestine from like early 1900s on. 1948 isn't the start of the conflict there's so much context that you lose if you start there. Just like, if an article or source starts telling the history at 1948, it's probably biased in some way. The wikipedia page is actually pretty good for this just read the British Mandate period and maybe check the sources if you want to.

I'm curious about your headcanon of Maya leaving Kurain Village to become a defence attorney. How do you think that would happen, and play out?
Oh! I'm so excited you asked this question anon, it's actually a whole thing!
So we have this thing called "The New Age of the Law" universe that's me and my writing partner's take on the direction of the Ace Attorney story post Spirit of Justice. And Maya's future is a big plot thread through it that is coming up soon.
Specifically, post Spirit of Justice, Maya goes back to Kurain village and becomes the channeling master, but the responsibility of it weighs heavy on her shoulders, and what she really wants is to be back in LA with everyone. But she has a duty, and she can't bring herself to sacrifice her duty for what she wants, but it's making her more and more miserable.
About a year later, she, along with Miles, and Phoenix (and a few others from the cast) get mysteriously summoned to an old inn in Japan, which is attached to the original village that Ami Fey came from.
It turns out that this is a trap by Dahlia Hawthorn's restless and evil spirit, and the other restless spirits of the clan, who has manipulated prophecy and spiritual power in a bid to return to life and destroy the kurain school.
Maya, Phoenix and Miles are drawn into a demonic 'otherworld' in the old inn and have to uncover the terrible secrets of the a 'forbidden' technique, and it's relation to a century old murder in order to bring the details to light.
They do, and in the process they banish Dahlia again and the powerful spirits that were looming over the inn– and in the process Mia Fey ends up coming back to life.
Unfortunately, while they were busy in Japan, Kurain village has been destroyed by related events and machinations, and Maya has nothing to return to, even if she wanted to. Most of the village survives, but they all break up and move elsewhere.
So Maya ends up becoming a defense attorney tutored by Phoenix and her sister Mia!
I'm hoping to start writing this fic around spooky season of this year, so please look forward to it!
