I've never seen someone destroy their own career so completely-even TheCompletionist wasn't this egregious, since at least he started trying to "fix" things once Coffeezilla and Karl Jobst caught him. Boogie tried a different strategy, where he screamed at Coffee over the phone, changed his story five times, then tried to lie and say he was tricked despite having agreed to it being recorded. I mean, come on-in what world does one of the oldest social media personalities(in more ways than one) not know that DM's are forever?

If a big youtuber/creator doesn't moderate their community for bigotry, I'm going to treat that creator as if they themselves are that kind of bigot. I think more people should do this

I couldn't care less what sort of one-sentence disclaimer they could possibly make once every two years like "don't be a bigot guys!!! anyway-". It means nothing if you let them run free in your community and rile each other up. By fostering it, you are functionally approving their behaviour and messages

I think we should be more picky with who we support with our views/time/brain space, cause clearly more large creators then we'd like to admit could not be fucked to do the bare minimum of not making the environment completely hostile to *insert minority here* and spread harmful ideology

Seriously though, from what I have seen there are just so many reasons to avoid this company. It's almost been making some of the other similar businesses look good by comparison. (And no, I am definitely not recommending those either.)

“I feel bad for fans of this one franchise because this other game that they’re also most likely going to play looks better” is probably the weirdest anti-Pokemon cope I’ve read.

Like... Why feel bad for people who enjoys certain video games? Are Pokemon fans not allowed to also be Zelda fans? Why do you feel bad for people who enjoy something?

These anti-Pokemon people act so fucking strange. They see a completely different franchise and think “I feel bad for people who enjoyed this Pokemon game.” I genuinely feel weirded out by this take. All I can really think is that they’re mad that people enjoy Pokemon games and those people live rent-free in these people’s heads.

That’s probably why this bothers me so much-  Mutahar made it sound like he loses sleep over people who genuinely enjoys Pokemon games past Gen 7. If your feelings towards something is anger or pity over something totally unrelated, that’s probably a sign that you should probably seek help or something because that’s not healthy.
