idk how the full pokemon tcg is, but now that i've got three consistent decks going on pocket i can say that the types here really don't feel like they have much identity. it's not fair to compare it to magic the gathering because the actual flow of combat is fundamentally quite different, being 1-on-1 and all, but playing metal feels the same as playing fighting feels the same as playing lightning, and the ai themed decks feel super similar too.
#the main ex cards feel particularly samey. so many (all?) have effectively the exact same attacks#oh wow a 2 energy 50 power and a 4 energy 150 that discards 2. you're so original#i wanna look at all the cards at once. there has to be a webpage with them#sighh i just wanna get my koga deck decent and see what stalling feels like in this game. need muks#my current decks are eelektross-helioptile / bisharp-pidgeot / marowak ex#the one deck i like conceptually (dragonite vaporeon jolteon) is basically inviable#and my one fav pokemon in the game is honestly worthless. rip porygon i'm sure you'll get evos soon#oh i'd also love to try 18 trainers but i'm not pulling a legendary bird anytime soon

PokeOmens - Angel Edition😇

it's been well over a month but i finally finished all the Good Omens angels' pokemon teams😁 once again, putting the teams together involved a healthy balance of deep thought and ~just vibes~
please ask about any of the choices if you'd like!
demon teams here!
angels and their teams under the cut!
Gabriel: this is the Archangel Fucking Gabriel and NOT as we know him as Jim! I imagine Jim would befriend Aziraphale's pokemon while in the bookshop since he's not allowed outside😆
Entei, Staraptor, Nidoking, Gyarados (shiny!), Machamp, and Raichu
Muriel: many of Muriel's pokemon are from lines that evolve with high friendship! as 37th scrivener, they probably don't have much practice with the battling side of pokemon training, but once on Earth, they meet so many new pokemon to befriend!! <3
Wigglytuff, Sylveon, Hoothoot, Frosmoth, Buneary, and Mimikyu
Saraqael: i enjoyed adding some poke-flair to their wheelchair! this composition kicked my ass bc of multiple large pokemon lol
Aurorus, Salamence, Suicune, Copperajah, Kirlia, and Elgyem
Michael: the most memorable part of this drawing was finding out kingdra is 5'11" - like WHAT?? also felt like a genius when i played around with the loopy brush to make "eye wheels" in the background
Vespiquen, Glameow, Medicham, Kingdra, Raikou, and Glaceon
Uriel: similarly to Michael's, I put stars in the BG to mimic Uriel's motif! i may be biased towards this team bc there's both garchomp and luxray🤭
Garchomp, Luxray, Deoxys, Empoleon, Granbull, and Rapidash
Sandalphon: ngl this one was a struggle bc i don't like sandalphon very much😆 if you follow me on bluesky you'll know that i complained a lot during this one lmao
Emboar, Zangoose, Tornadus, Electabuzz, Toedscruel, and Bisharp
Metatron: this team went through like 5 different iterations. Arceus was not initially part of it (i was considering having God as a poketrainer too and Arceus would be her partner) but given the context of the show, Metatron is presumably running things with God gone so - it's fitting! also i based his pose on Giovanni (team rocket boss) as an easter egg
Aegislash, Iron Hands, Arceus, Glalie, Tyrantrum, and Metagross

Bisharp Body Language, Behaviors, & Culture

Pawniard and Bisharp behaviors are some of my favorite pokemon to analyze due to their unique groups and interesting social cues. Their social cues and behaviors extend to when they have trainers and are born in captivity, and I think it's important for trainers to understand their pokemon. So, here are some Bisharp behaviors and cultures explained!
Body Language & Behaviours

Tapping
Many trainers might have noticed that their Pawniard/Bisharp will tap random surfaces. This behavior is just used to get your atention in order to tell you something. Maybe their hungry, maybe there's danger, and they want to warn you, but they are trying to get your attention for a reason.
Thiddling
(Idea from Eve-of-Halloween on Deviantart)
I think this behavior is very cute. It's a courting act where Pawniard/Bisharp tap their blades together or tap their partner/potential partner's blades in a rhythmic order.
Scraping
Sraping is a behavior where Pawniard/Bisharp scrape their blades together in order to threaten another Pawniard/Bisharp. This behaviour is used as a warning that they're about to attack. If a wild Bisharp does this to you, turn the other way because it most likely means that you are in its territory and doesn't want you there.
Bowing
Pawniard and Bisharp bow for 2 main reasons; bowing to their superiors to to invite someone to a friendly battle. Bowing to their superiors often includes keeping their blades behind their back, while bowing to initiate a friendly battle has their arms extended forward and their hands out.
Scouting
A behavior seen more commonly in Pawniard than Bisharp, and certainly not Kinggambit. This includes a group of Pawniard leaving their camp to go check their territory for any danger. With trainers or with humans, this behaviour includes getting up early and walking around the house or yard to check for any unwanted company.
Marking
Marking is when Pawniard/Bisharp mark their territory by carving their clan's symbol on rocks, trees, or other materials around them. This behaviour is more common in Pawniard than it is Bisharp, and Kingambit don't do it unless they're in captivity and their aren't any other Pawniard or Bisharp to do it for them. This behavior makes a lot of sense in the wild, but it can be annoying when your Pawniard ends up carving things on your walls or driveway.
Courting
Bisharp have a few different courting behaviors. This includes displaying their blades, gift giving, cutting up their partner's food, or sharpening their partner's blades. This behaviour can be a bit difficult when their mate isn't a member of thr Pawniard line, but they do pair very well with Gallade bcuz Gallade court in similar ways.
Clapping
The line claps for similar reasons we do; they like something. I'm just putting this here to explain the next part.
Laughing
Bisharp don't laugh the same reasons we do. We laugh when something is funny, but Bisharp will laugh to show power. It's common for Bisharp to laugh after a fight, and the behavior is seen as mocking. If you recently caught one, you should teach them that you're not mocking them when you're laughing. Or, if you want to accommodate your Bisharp, try clapping when you find something funny because clapping is also their version of laughing.
Clanging
Clanging is when Pawniard line members clang their heads together as a form of greeting. It's used as a way to form deeper bonds amongst their pack.
Culture

I just want to say that each Pawniard/Bisharp pack/clan has different cultures and behaviors, and they're not all the same. I go over it a bit in my Pawniard Facts post, and I'll go over it as well in my Bisharp Fact posts, but I am going itno more detail here!
Writing & Symbols
Each Pawniard pack has their own symbols for their clan, which they use to mark their territory. While they don't write as much as Weavile do, there have been recorded cases of them drawing symbols that aren't their or other clan symbols that they use to communicate with one another.
Naming
The Pawniard line does, in fact, name each other! It's usually vocal sounds coming from the mouth, and they may even have symbols for their names. This extends to their trainers. If your Pawniard/Bisharp/Kingambit always refers to you with a specific soundz that means that they have named you. And while it's hard to translate what these names mean, as scientists aren't fully sure if what their symbols mean, they have figured out some, and many Pawniard/Bisharp/Kingambit are named after things that are around them; like different trees or rocks.
Affection
Because of the blades all over their body, the line isn't much for physical affection. Instead, the line will show affection to one's they are close with by doing acts of service or do something I like to call "Allogrooming but without the grooming bcuz idk what it's called," where clans will have dedicated times to just relaxing and communicating eith each other. For trainers, this behavior can translate as your partner following you around or giving you gifts.
Honor
So many Bisharp clans have such a high focus on honor. The most honorable thing a Bisharp can do is become a strong leader, so evolving into a Kingambit is one of the best things you can do. But since only one clan can have a kingambit, other Pawniard and Bisharp just focus on becoming stronger for their clan and Kingambit.
Mourning
Like humans, the Pawniard line buries their dead. They're often buried with different stones or beloved objects. Researchers understand the beloved objects part, but they're still trying to figure out what the stones mean. They will have funerals foe their dead and different clans have different ways for their funerals. Some clans will have moments of silence, some will have battles, and some will celebrate their fallen friends next chapter into the afterlife.
Integration
The Pawniard line prefers to keep to their own clans, with integration of clans not being a very common thing. BUT, it isn't unheard of. It mostly happens when a Kingambit manages to take control over multiple clans, resulting in larger territories and more clan members. Integration can also happen with outer species as well. Members of the line are known to accept other humanoid pokenon into their clans, like Charcadet or Gallade, but they also get along very well with the Aegislash line. Researchers believe it is because Aegislash is attracted to any pokemon that has organized societies and have power, making it easier for the Aegislash to befriend said pokemon. Works for Bisharp's favor, since now they have something to protect them from fighting types.
Hope this helps! It was very fun researching the structures of their socities and their behaviours. If you use any questions, please ask me!

I lost track of how many times I've read stop me and truth to be told. It was a good escape from reality or it either hit too close to home.
I'm keeping an eye for a post. But in the meantime do take care of yourself! Happy endeavors!
Also if the characters in stop me had a type of pokemon what type would they be?
Hey, thank you for the ask.
I understand what you mean about the ‘escape from reality’ while also adding in the ‘hit too close to home’. I had some abusive people in my past so when I write, I take those very real emotions and press them into the fictional world. Unfortunately, it can take those moments and situations and make them a little more non-fiction for those who know what that’s been like. Stop Me has been many things for me, including therapy at some point. From certain asks and DMs, I can see that it’s been the same for others, too.
So thank you for addressing it and pointing it out. I hope you’re doing well. :)
As for your other part of the ask…
Goodness~! XD
How to answer… You said ‘type’ of Pokémon and not ‘species’; I’m going to go with ‘species’ as it’ll still reflect correctly and I will also be writing my choice of Pokémon in as a partner. But this will solely pertain to the characters they’ve become in my writing and will not reflect what others may feel about them in their canon incarnate.
Arcee: Shiny Bisharp. Fight me. And yes, specifically a ✨shiny✨ Bisharp. Knife hands and great honor while still learning to grow as an individual, still learning that emotions are valid but let’s not let them get out of control. Situation is key. I would have said ‘Shiny Pawniard’ but our femme is a big girl and has more skill and ability than a Pawniard. A shiny Bisharp definitely reflects well as her partner.
Bumblebee: Bolthound. Now before you toss me out of the room by my ankles- Bee is a playful mech, but he also takes his job as a scout seriously. He may ‘bend’ orders a bit, but his priorities are his friends and teammates. A Yamper would be too young to understand that, but a Bolthound? Grown enough for the challenge. Still one heck of a playful partner, when it’s appropriate. They’d be unstoppable.
Bulkhead: I immediately thought of a Golem. Easy to lob around, loves rolling down mountains, can withstand the thrills and insanity that comes with doing stunts. But also a defender and community-type. Gotta be there for the TEAM, especially the younger/little ones. Golem is ya boi and he knows it.
Ratchet: Forgive me. Forgive me. XD The most exhausted looking Audino. I was going to say a different Pokémon that happened to be able to learn ‘Heal Pulse’ but it has to be Audino. A grumpy one. Both of them just being tired of trying to make and fix things and somehow stuff just keeps getting broken. Rude.
Wheeljack: I know the easy answer is ‘Greninja’ but you know what? No. Hawlucha. Got nothin’ but respect and honor and he’s small and fast. Little winged hands like tiny knives. Jumps out of nowhere. Would constantly be surprising the enemy. Jackie would be laughing too hard. And who says you can’t give the little guy a knife? Ratchet? Naaaah, Sunshine’s gotta loosen up. It’ll be fiiiiiiine~
Smokescreen: A Bagon. HOLD YOUR PITCHFORKS BACK- Bagon is the representation of growth and potential. Smokescreen knows he has the potential but he lacks the experience and growth he needs to get to the next level. He has drive and ambition, much like Bagon does, and he never gives up. He has moments of ice-water clarity, but he never gives up. Which would reflect well in a Bagon.
Cliffjumper: Cubone’s Mother. No other notes.
Ultra Magnus: He needs a ‘no-nonsense’ Pokémon. Golurk. That thing has a ‘yes, sir/no, sir’ mentality. Hands like God’s Hammers. Will hunt you down. Will find you if you’re shirking your duties. Eyes that stare into your very soul and spark and have no qualms about ensuring you understand why you’re on inventory duty.
Optimus Prime: I had to think long and hard about this one but this feels right. Lucario. A Pokémon of emotion and empathy but also a discerning leader. Unshakable, unstoppable. Carries the weight of it all. And when in sync with its trainer, it can Megaevolve. Truly a Pokémon worthy of a Prime. :3
Soundwave: Shiny Porygon. Not 2, not Z. Shiny Porygon. Soundwave is already hella meta and beyond capable in the ways of new technology… so of course he would have an appreciation for the classics. And a classic lil guy a Shiny Porygon would be. Soundwave doesn’t need to be flashy with his kind of Pokémon; being shiny is enough. But his appreciation for the classics would definitely be seen in his Pokémon.
Knockout: I had a completely different choice written out here and I changed it when I really took into consideration how much Knockout has changed… aaaaand how much he hasn’t. XD And so, I settled with Scizor. Fast, strong, *red,* it’s everything KO could want and more. But KO knows he’s still the flashiest and he’d like to keep it that way.
Breakdown: Nobody. Laugh. Tinkaton. Our boy BD needs someone who understands the way of the hammer and when best to use it. Tinkaton has an *actual* hammer. The two would be a bane to everyone but mostly Ratchet, definitely Ratchet, yes…
Starscream: As it *solely pertains to characters and events of Stop Me-* Bulbasaur. Starscream needs more grounding. More ‘present’ energy. But he’s still stubborn. Thus, a Bulbasaur. A Pokémon of decent strength, cunning, care and potential. Also my favorite but *that has no bearing in this decision-* Starscream needs something calm, strong and just as stubborn as he is. Bulbasaur. Peak. 🙌
Predaking: Going off the continuation of being Stop Me-specific… Dragonite. The friendly boy. A lovable squish full of care and wonder and questions… until you make him angry or threaten the ones he cares about most. Paired together, the two are pleasant and playful. Unless they’re on the battlefield.
Airachnid: I know everyone would pick a spider Pokémon for her and I get why because that’s easy, but in regard to Stop Me, I feel like she would have something that was easily frustrated. And since she’s dead, I had to choose Annihilape.
C.Y.L.A.S.: I really didn’t want to use a mythical or legendary’ Pokémon in a sense, but I think we can agree Type: Null is right on the nose. An amalgamation of parts that are NOT supposed to be together. The two are quite the pair.
Hardshell: Shedinja. Easily disposed of if you have the right, super effective move to take them out.
Bombshock: A little more of a pre-planner and defense-based, so a Durant. And they come in hives, too. Yes. I know what Hardshell has. :)
Dreadwing: Gallade. A Pokémon of strength and honor. Need I say more?
Darksteel: Deino. A snappy little brute and still young and immature. The potential is there and Darksteel would be reflected best with this kind of partner Pokémon.
Skylynx: Frigibax. Potential is still yet to be had but with his standoffish attitude, Frigibax pairs best with Skylynx.
Shockwave: I actually had to review three candidates for him, but I managed to settle on the most logical partner for Shockwave: Metagross. Both cunning and intelligent, Metagross also boasts a cruelty in battle that most don’t dare witness. Shockwave’s experiments would only become more complex with this Pokémon beside him.
Megatron: Spiritomb. Lock them both in rocks.
Jack: This took me another long think to get right. I want to respect that Jack has been put through a lot. But he’s also not quite there yet. I’d say he has the best reflection in a Pokémon partner with Charcadet. Jack still has choices to make as he grows up. He’d never choose a less moral path, he’s not that kind of young man, but he still has the ability to choose whether to be more in the face of things or slip into the background. Just like how a Charcadet has a choice in evolution.
Miko: I know a certain poison/electric Pokémon is pretty much base-Miko. But that’s not what I chose. I chose Loudred. Still inexperienced but on the way to controlling themselves and their need to be loud.
Rafael: This kid has been through so much. I would have said at the start of Stop Me a different Pokémon but the kid has earned his stripes and then some. Alakazam. And since the brainy Pokémon never stops learning, there’s always room for growth as Raf grows up.
Agent Fowler: Braviary. ‘Murica. Secret government agent style.
June: Jigglypuff. Still a healer if given the moves for it, but most of us remember Jigglypuff from the anime. You don’t f**k with Jigglypuff.
Thank you for the ask. This was a tough one! I hope all of my choices make sense and that my reasons were interesting ones. :)

So, I just had a raid on one of Team Flare’s hideouts and I now have several Pokemon that have been reported as missing, stolen, or confiscated. I’ve also rescued and confiscated some of the Flare’s Pokemon. The thing is, none of these Pokemon want to go to the wild, and they all seem to be fairly healthy, but I can only take in so many Pokemon before I start to get overwhelmed.
The Pokemon who need to be rehomed are as follows:
10 pyroar, both male and female (former trainers were from regions where these can be found), family group so a family taking them in would be preferred ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅
3 male Hydreigon, all mild tempered, they will need experienced trainers who have raised a salamance at the very least, all three have injuries that lead me to believe they were mistreated, so please be patient with them ✅✅✅
A pair of zoroark, both are very gentle and love playtime ✅✅
5 toxicroak, they are surprisingly affectionate and friendly
3 shiny bisharp, they are siblings and seem to be very attached to one another ✅ ✅✅
15 non shiny bisharp, they vary in temperament but none are aggressive, they all enjoy battle though
4 cryogonal, they are very high temper but are not aggressive, they just have some serious anxiety issues ✅✅
Feel free to send a message if you’d like to take in one or more of these Pokemon.
✅ = adopted
The amount of times I put ✅ for each Pokemon is the amount that have been adopted.

So, I've had this strange and, maybe, cool idea that I would like to share with you!
Reader, who made their way up to the Galar Championsip, they are known for their strange connection to Pokémon, and for never talking, or showing their face. People know very little about them, and rarely see them, but on one day, the finally day, the truth unfolds!
When they step onto the field, surrounded by cameras, they throw off their cloak only to show that all this time, the Pokémon Trainer was not in fact human, but also a Pokémon! Bisharp, to be exact.
The shock, the news! The unexpected twist!
Hope that you'll like it! Take your time, I can wait, writing is a very tiring progress✨
"Leon! How do you feel about the mystery challenger you endorsed being moments away from battling you?"
"Have they ever spoken a word to you, Leon?"
"Who do you think they could be? Someone outside this region? An old rival looking for revenge?"
"I haven't got a clue who they are just yet, but if I know one thing...it's that this battle is going to be amazing! I can just feel it!" The Galarian Champion grinned with pride, standing amidst a swarm of reporters who wanted to question him before he prepared for the final match.
At last, the day arrived.
One that many anticipated.
Because today Leon will be facing a particularly unique challenger:
You, somebody who mysteriously showed up in Galar one day and kept their identity hidden beneath a covert cloak. Nobody knew what you actually looked like, and it was even harder to know what you sounded like....as you've never spoken to anyone.
Not even to Leon, although you made your wishes to enter the gym challenge very clear when you approached him, handing him a card with a simple request:
Endorse Me --B
"B" was the only name he knew you by, and nothing else. But he understood that you probably didn't like talking too much, similar to Allister. So he obliged, permitting you to wear the cloak as you were rather insistent on doing so.
Who would have though you'd conquer the Championship by storm and were now minutes away from battling him for the title?
You've truly wowed the crowd as you defeated the gym leaders with flying colors. And all you ever did was point at them and let your Pokémon finish the job--all without uttering a single command.
You even took down Raihan's Gigantamaxed-Duraludon in just a single turn!
It's like you shared a psychic connection with them, although you've ducked out of the way of reporters and fanatics who were just obsessed with you, refusing to be swarmed.
Still, your aura of mystery, strong bonds, and intelligent Pokémon quickly became the talk of the town. And it made Leon all the more thrilled to battle you, hoping he'll get to learn more about you that way.
So when the news crew started getting word that you arrived in Wyndon for the final match, he took that as his cue to get ready.
He was so excited, he almost got lost on his way to the locker room.
.........
Stepping out onto the field, you were immediately greeted by cameras hovering on all sides, mounted by Aegislash.
Every angle was determined to capture you in your star moment...as you were about to battle Galar's current champion.
But even with all of this attention on you, you didn't wave or acknowledge the cameras one bit. Your focus was only on the purple-haired man who was waiting for you in the center.
For a second or two, Leon was thrown-off by the uproarious cheers coming from the crowd after you appeared. Usually he was being rooted for the most, although it's clear that people were psyched to see you battle him.
You've been one of Galar's greatest mysteries since your arrival, and still nobody knew who you were or how you became so strong.
Stopping in front of him, you looked into his eyes, only giving a small nod of acknowledgement.
"Well this is it, B. The moment everyone's been waiting for." He grinned. "Are you ready for.......oh, guess they are.." His face fell flat as you simply turned and headed back to your position on the field.
Now he was just dying to find out who you truly are.
Who really stood under that cloak?
For now, though, all that mattered was this battle that would determine if he'd successfully defend his title as Champion...or if you were somehow going to come out on top.
Standing back at his position, Leon patted both side of his face, taking a few deep breaths. Then he tossed his heavy cape to the wind, which was hastily collected by a staff member before he struck his signature pose for all to see.
The crowd's cheers have grown tenfold, chanting his name as they mimicked the iconic gesture.
You grunted in interest, impressed how that simple action got everyone so riled up and excited. And it made you wonder...
Looking to your cloak, you gripped it with metal fingers that were barely visible to the cameras. For a moment or two you stood there debating, wondering if....
No.
You're done dodging people and hiding from the public eye.
You've kept up this mystery long enough.
It's about time everyone here knew who you really were.
"What's this? Is our mystery challenger about to reveal their identity??" An announcer cried out. "It's the moment we've all been waiting for, ladies and gentlemen!!!"
With another grunt, you finally threw off your cloak, letting it fall to the ground beside you, eyes closed as you anticipated everybody's judgement.
Most of the crowd descended into silence; even Leon, Hop, and the other gym leaders couldn't believe what they were seeing right before their very eyes.
After all this time, they thought they were battling a strong human Pokémon Trainer.
But no.
Instead it was a Pokémon itself.
"What a twist! I can't believe it! It seems that our mysterious competitor is none other than the Pokémon Bisharp! Somehow it has risen through the ranks of the championship without the assistance of a trainer! It's incredible! This has NEVER happened in the history of Pokémon battling!!"
Soon the crowd went WILD.
Many wondered how it was even legal for a Pokémon to enter a human competition; a few others--especially those watching from home--were convinced you were just a person in a Bisharp costume.
But the cameras surrounding you didn't lie.
You were a real Bisharp, and you were determined to become the first ever Pokémon to win a championship.
"Shar.." With a smirk, you raised your hands up to the cameras, giving them a small wave. You were relieved that your secret was finally out; it gave you a massive confidence boost after seeing how all the humans reacted.
As you then sharpened your bladed arms and readied your first pokeball, you gazed at Leon from across the way. His jaw was dropped in shock, unable to believe who he was battling.
It was quite amusing to you.
Of course, many knew Bisharps were strategic commanders of Pawniards....but nobody would have guessed they'd be intelligent enough to lead a competitive team of different Pokémon outside their lineage.
Well, you're the shining example that it was possible.
After sending out your Pokémon, you huffed, wondering when your opponent was going to snap out of it and start taking this battle seriously.
But he quickly realized you were waiting, and seemed flustered.
"Sorry. I just...wow....I can't believe you were.....ah, what does it matter?" Shaking his head, he grinned as he finally sent out his first Pokémon, ready to defend his title. "We're gonna have a champion time regardless. So give me everything you got, Bisharp!"

hey btw be very careful when like. getting prosthetics/like. idk shell or metal replacements or whatever the term may be for certain pokemon!!
when pokemon like the pawniard line lose their headcrests, it showcases they have lost a battle. they may still fight but not for power or leadership. its kinda like retirement. a bisharp or kingambit thats head is chipped or breaks steps down as leader. they will never fight to become a leader again and jn some cases may be ousted from their army.
while you CAN replace their horn, be careful while doing so. it can cause your pokemon to see itself as a fraud and end up sulking everywhere and refusing to engage with others of its species OR exhibit hyper aggression if it believes it now no longer has to worry about losing its crest because you'll always just get it a new one. additionally, if others of its species discover its crest is fake there is a chance they may kill it for misleading them.
another steel type to be careful with is aggron. ive seen people talk about welding replacement metal to replace holes and chips and stuff or polishing and buffing out scratches and DO NOT DO THAT.
while you technically could and the aggron wouldnt experiance pain, it would be very fucking pissed. aggrons wear damage to their metal armor with pride. its an example of all sorts of fights and hardships theyve survived. aggrons with more damage to their armor are better respected among their species and its used to distinguish among aggrons
aggrons who respect eachother may mark eachother with their horns outside of fights. during a territory dispute, aggrons with more damage to their armor sometimes win without having to fight because the less marked up aggron views them as more powerful and more worthy of the territory. aggrons will scratch up the armor of arons before sending them off into the world.
by removing the damage to an aggrons armor you are telling your aggron you do not value its history. it is not worthy of respect. it does not need to be recognizable by other aggron. obviously if its genuinely dangerous for a certain crack or hole to be there go ahead and fix it but otherwise do not fucking get rid of the damage!!!
for many crustacean pokemon, dont worry about lost limbs. they can regrow claws and legs. slowly, but they can. obviously if its missing both its claws it might need some help but i promise the crabrawler will have its claws back eventually.
theres a lot of sfuff but like generally do your research on everything dont nust automatically assume your pokemon wants or needs a prosthetic. pokemon dont have the same concept of ableism as humans do and often time dont care if their buddy is missing a leg or an eye.

have you answered about what pokemon teams ur ocs would have???? if not, well....... 👁👁 what pokemon would they have????
Alright so I kinda went ham on this and made full Pokemon teams for both my OCs AND the canon Tomb of Time cast. I’ll post them all here with some notes! Generally, I gave everyone a single legendary/mythical, and a couple have partner Pokemon that don’t battle, which are included in the corner of their trainer portraits.
Celebi is obvious; a time traveler needs a time traveling Pokemon! Max keeps them out in most circumstances.
Butterfree is a reference to the LiS butterfly. Pity there aren’t any blue butterfly Pokemon.
Clefable and Blissey are much like Max: rare and shy, but friendly when they trust you. Also pink.
Pink Deerling for the pink Jane Doe shirt Max typically wears in LiS.
Tinkaton, again, is much like Max: pink and cute, but will absolutely wreck your shit if given cause (Remember how she almost shot Frank? Imagine if she’d had a hammer instead of a gun.)
Shaymin is admittedly influenced by TToT Chloe’s mother being Persephone, but I think Chloe would really bond with the little guy. They would also be kept out in most circumstances and play with Max’s Celebi.
Absol can sense impending disasters. I imagine Chloe sought hers out in the wake of William’s accident.
Cloyster because… Well, look at it.
Her Persian’s name is Bongo, after her childhood cat.
Ferrothorn and Roserade are again due to TToT Chloe’s Persephone parentage. Ferrothorn specifically refers to the brambles surrounding her mother’s grove at Camp Half-Blood (thanks to @bulletbilltime for that suggestion among others!)
TToT Rachel is a child of Dionysus, and being there aren’t many Pokemon themed around drinking, I reached for other elements of her character. Solgaleo and Pyroar are due to her assertions of being a proud Leo (don’t call her out on that)
Arcanine and Flareon for the many associations between Rachel’s character and fire. Flareon is kept out while traveling.
Zoroark for canon Rachel’s deception and masking, and TToT Rachel’s skill with illusions.
Gardevoir for her outward poise and grace that she shows to all but those closest to her.
I don’t have much to say about Gideon’s lineup, because Zacian, Aegislash, and Sirfetch’d really just boil down to “swords.” Girl loves her swords.
Steelix and Aggron for some more tough and strong steel types. You could argue they have some swordlike features on them.
Golem because canon Gideon grew up in a hole in the ground (specifically on Pluto but there’s not a Plutonian regional variant of Golem yet so sue me)
Harrow has a partner Cubone that doesn’t battle, both because bones, and she empathizes with mourning a mother you never really knew.
Darkrai for the nightmare element; Harrow is no stranger to frequent nightmares.
Houndstone, Spiritomb, and Cofagrigus for the tomb motifs. Spiritomb is particularly appropriate due to it being an amalgamation of souls.
Duskull is left unevolved because its later forms lose the bone motif.
Banette is formed by feelings of abandonment, which… Yeah.
Frieda, as a daughter of Kronos, gets the other time themed legendary in Dialga.
Corviknight and Bisharp represent her martial skill as a warrior; Bisharp in particular for the twin swords she wields.
Empoleon, Nidoqueen, and Vespiquen are straightforward references to her position as Queen of the demititans. Type wise they mean that she probably has the most varied team of the demititans.
I have even less to say about Hunter’s lineup than I did Gideon’s, because they all boil down to being fighters. He probably uses the humanoids for sparring partners.
Terrakion, Machamp, Hariyama, and Conkledurr are noted for their extreme endurance, a trait he shares as a son of Atlas.
Incineroar and Lucario represent his use of combat magic to supplement his martial skill.
Maya’s team is psychics selected for intelligence to pair with her role as a mage/scholar. She rarely uses them for actual battles; instead they assist with her research.
Mewtwo and Alakazam are noted for their especially robust memories, a trait she shares as a favored daughter of Mnemosyne.
Meowstic and Hatterene pair well with her aloof and asocial temperament. Hatterene in particular helps keep unwanted visitors from disturbing her work.
Malamar for her manipulative side as one of the Queen’s Hands.
Delphox for the part of her that really wants to just burn something to ground every once in a while. (Rachel can relate.)
Pierce’s team took some thought, on account of most star/astronomy themed Pokemon being legendary. Of those, she gets Jirachi, as she’d find them adorable and keep them out in most cases.
Starmie, Minior and Gothitelle continue the star/astronomy theme, owing to her father being Krios, lord of stars and constellations.
Appletun because she’s a hobbyist cook, and makes a mean pie.
Escavalier because she’s a spear fighter, and it’s literally the only pokemon I could find that references any kind of polearm. Yeah I know its arms are lances and not spears but I took what I could get.
Siren has a partner Spheal that doesn’t fight, simply because she doesn’t want him getting hurt. His name is Blubby.
Her full team is water type owing to her father being Oceanus. Kyogre specifically represents the primal power of the deep ocean that is her birthright.
Milotic, Gorebyss, Lapras, and Primarina are chosen for their beauty and elegance, traits she prizes in herself.
Greninja refers to her dexterity and deadly skill with small blades.

Welcome to part one of my fun project of making Pokemon teams for FFXII characters! We are going to start with Judge Ghis and Judge Bergan.
This is a link to the rules I made if anyone is interested. I hope that all you fans of the Judges enjoy. These were fun to make.
Judge Ghis' team is pretty well balanced but I wanted him to have types for a cunning thinker and a mix of both physical and special attackers since he seems to value strength in many different forms.
Judge Bergan largely has a team based on his own style of combat which is to attack and hit hard. (He would hate the fairy type and half his team is weak to it, just saying 😂)
I decided to put my reasoning for each choice under the read more to make the post a little easier to navigate. But please check it out! I spent a lot of time and effort on these and no choice was made without consideration. Without further ado please read on.
For Ghis' Team
Gyarados (Water/Flying):
While the traditional summons for the Final Fantasy series are absent and just names of airships in XII, those names still mean something and I wanted to have something that represented that. For the Dreadnaught Leviathan we have Gyarados. What is more angry sea serpent than Gyarados? Flying type works for the airship and water for Leviathan itself.
Has the Intimidate ability, which goes with the title of Judge.
I think it can be implied that Ghis seeks greater power from his "Blood alone does not an emperor make" line and Gyarados has power in spades.
Bisharp (Dark/Steel):
Bisharp has the same look as Ghis and shares his colours! Dark type for a man who schemes and likes to antagonize his opponents.
Steel type is complimentary to his own armour that he wears as a Judge. Bisharp is also known as the 'Sword Blade' Pokemon and Ghis fights with a sword himself, so they are a good pair.
Bisharp also leads groups of Pawniard much like the Judges lead their own fleets.
Glameow (Normal):
Fun choice number 1. Every evil arrogant mastermind surely should have a cat that can match his condescending nature, look no further than Glameow!
Glameow has so much attitude and I feel like its cry with that amusing laugh would match Ghis' own.
Described as a 'Catty Pokemon' and that it is 'an exceedingly tricky opponent if antagonized.'
Plus I can imagine him with a Glameow sitting in his lap.
Delphox (Fire/Psychic):
Ghis uses Flare in that one cutscene, the closest way in my mind to non elemental damage is the Psychic type.
Fire type is a nod to the Ifrit which is under the 8th fleet.
Foxes are usually represented as being cunning, intelligent and capable of trickery and that is very much like Ghis himself.
Shiny Pikipek (Normal/Flying):
This is his second fun choice. I wanted a flying type with proper feathers since Ghis has a feather motif in his armour. Pikipek also reminds me of his hair with the curly/wavy pattern with the different colours of feathers.
Ghis also casts Aero, a flying type is fitting for that.
Galar Slowking (Poison/Psychic):
Dex entries describe 'Shellder's intelligence increased to the point that it controls Slowking.' Which for me is descriptive of Ghis' interest in greater power and "only being interested in results" that he doesn't consider what putting the Dusk Shard in the Leviathan's engine might do other than prove its power.
Can learn Ice type moves to represent the Shiva.
Poison type is because Ghis casts Scorge which is basically a fancy stronger bio spell, thus Poison type.
Honourable mentions go to Alola Meowth, Magmorter (for the Ifrit) and Orbeetle. But ultimately I didn't think they worked as well as the other choices I made.
Next is Judge Bergan!
Tyrantrum (Rock/Dragon):
Rock types are sturdy of course but within the FFXII scope I also seen them as being loosely related to nethicite which is also referred to as stone. Dragons are the some of the strongest types in terms of stats and that would be something Bergan would value.
Known as the 'Despot Pokemon', which is line with Bergan's own belief that only the strong should rule with an iron fist.
'Can crush metal as if it were paper', we all known that Bergan has the best raw strength of all the Judges.
Pinsir (Bug)
Another heavy hitter, Pinsir has a very high attack like Bergan.
Capable of Mega Evolution, which is what Bergan did to himself by having nethicite put into his bones. The dex also explains that Mega Pinsir is capable of lifting opponents with ease, which is exactly what Bergan did to Drace.
Bergmite (Ice)
A fun choice, Bergan and Bergmite they have similar names.
Bergmite is described as being able to 'block opponents' attacks with the ice that shields its body', much like Bergan's own armour is capable of.
Druddigon (Dragon)
Known as a vicious and cunning Pokemon, words that could describe Bergan himself. Has the Battle Armour ability, a nod to Bergan's armour.
Aside from its great strength I also picked Druddigion because it 'treats stolen nests as their own liars' much like the goal of the 2nd Bureau that Bergan leads which is to invade and subjugate other countries.
Shiny Tauros Combat Breed (Fighting)
This is Bergan's other fun choice, but still practical for him. Paldean Tauros is 'distinguished by its thick, powerful muscles and fierce disposition.'
Bulls represent strength, power and determination.
Drapion (Poison/Dark)
A Pokemon that is 'sturdy in build' and takes 'pride in its strength', much like Bergan himself.
But mostly I picked Drapion because it 'prefers to use physical force' as Bergan mostly attacks.
Also reference to Drapion 'rampaging' like how Zargabaath can cast Berserk on Bergan to maximize his damage in Trial Mode.
Honourable mentions go to Rhyhorn, Kingambit, and Crawdaunt.
and lastly here is the link if you want to make your own trainer cards.

Ayakashi Koi Meguri X Pokémon!
Koga
Koga definitely would have a Pecharunt Talonflame.
He raised it since it was a tiny Fletching.
Talonflame and Koga go hunting in the woods often.
Kuya
Kuya has a Komala, and nobody knows how he got it.
Kuya says he didn't really catch it.
They just vibe together.
Aoi
Aoi has a Rotom that possessed an oven.
He noticed the possessed oven in the milk hall one day, and just made friends with it.
He and Rotom cook together.
Ginnojo
Gin has a Milotic.
He caught it as a Feebas when he was much younger.
They grew old together.
They share many memories.
Yura
Yura has an ancient Chimecho with him.
He got it as a present from the human who owned his flute.
Chimecho likes to sing, when Yura plays the flute and Gaku, the drum.
Toichiro
Toichiro has a Ninetales.
He got it from his father as a tiny Vulpix.
Both Toichiro and Ninetales like antiques and art pieces.
Shizuki
He has an Alolan Ninetales.
He, too, got it from Toichiro's father as a little Vulpix.
Shizuki has to babysit three foxes now.
Oji
Oji has a Chansey.
He adopted it as a tiny Happiny.
Chansey gives him an egg every day.
Oji and Chansey cook his specialty omurice every now and then.
Kuro
He has a Pyukumuku.
He befriended it during a beach trip.
Kuro and Pyukumuku perform in the circus together.
Gaku
Gaku also has an ancient Chimecho.
It was given to him by the human who owned his drum.
Gaku's Chimecho prefers to stay in the house as a wind chime.
Tatsuomi
Tatsu has a Bisharp.
I just think he would own a Bisharp.
Akiyasu
This guy has a Spiritomb.
Nobody knows how he caught it.
Aki is afraid of every Pokémon, so...
Kagemaru
Kage has a fluffy Galvantula.
He got it as a tiny Joltik from Keijiro.
Kage likes cuddling with Galvantula, though he'll never admit it.
Yakumo
He has a small Noibat.
Noibat often joins him in classes.
Yakumo buys ripe fruits every now and then for Noibat.
Aizen
Aizen has a Tranquill.
He caught it when it was a Pidove.
Tranquill also has it's eyes closed all the time, like Aizen.

Tw: Child injuries
“C’mon.. RUN!!”
“There they are!! Get them!!”
They’re coming!!”
Iris held Drayton’s hand as they escaped through the outer edge of the city, fighting off Team Plasma grunts as they ran. Ghetis and his men were on their tail, wanting to capture them and the rest of Unova’s gym leaders. They knew they were coming for their grandfather next.
“Syrren, swift swim!” Drayton yelled out, his Kingdra knocking out a few Scraggy, but getting hit by a Shadow Ball into a nearby building.
“Hah! Toxic, Skuntank!” A Plasma grunt spoke with a joyful malice, more members showing up to overwhelm them.
“Joan, Focus Blast!!” Iris said to her Hydraigon, running around a corner. The Opelucid gym was in sight. They need to get inside…
“Watch out!”
Iris shoved her brother away, seeing a Plasma grunt call for their Bisharp to use Snarl. She called for her Haxorus to deflect but was a bit too late with the move.
“Iris!!” Drayton shouted, seeing his sister get knocked back by the blast.
“Im fine!!” Iris replied, although a trickle of blood dripped from her forehead. “Prince, Outrage!!” She shouts, letting her Haxorus deal with the assailant before her and Drayton ran towards the gym.
The two quickly shut the door behind them, Drayton commanding his Kingdra to freeze the doors shut with Ice Beam, soon setting the injured Pokemon back to its ball. The two teens pant, hearing the noise of the grunts and their pokemon trying to get in, sending shivers down their spines.
“Ugh.. How many pokemon have you got left..?” Iris said, looking at her Haxorus’s pokeball.
“Hmm.. Just Skygate and Forrest..” Drayton winced as he helped up his Spectile and Archaludon’s pokeballs. He was using his torn jacket as a sling for his broken right arm.
“Just Prince.” She said, holding her bruised side. “C-Cmon, Grandfather s-should be here…”
“You’re stumbling.” Drayton spoke, seeing his sister lean on a nearby table.
“I-Im fine…” She protested, a hand on her forehead, jumping at the sound of banging on the door.
“You took a dark-type move head on, you’re not fine…” The younger boy said.” Cmon, Grandpa should be in the main gym.” Drayton said, letting Iris lean on him as they walked down the dark hallway.
“...So he used your power again..?”
They could hear the sound of Ingo’s voice. They sighed in relief. If Ingo was there, that meant he and Emmet managed to escape Nimbasa during its attack as well. They hurry down the hallway, wanting to hear the conversation better.
“Yeah, and it d-mn hurt..” Drayden’s spoke, arms crossed. Their stoic grandfather looked more upset than usual, of course with hearing the noise outside the building. The room felt a bit chilly, which was odd since it was usually kept warm for the Dragon- types. “Havent felt that drained in a while. Using my own ice against me.. A stupid idea.”
“His tracks are changing and I dont like where its headed…” Ingo said, flickers of fire running across his fingertips. “They already tried searching for me or Emmet’s power, but it wasn't enough. It is already unwell enough they’re trying to use the stones, but that and trying to keep this state is very difficult.”
“Ugh.. yes, very uncomfortable. ” Emmet said, standing next to Ingo. His white coat was a bit dirty, and black smoke seemed to come out of his mouth as he spoke. “I am Emmet. Have you heard from Drayton or Iris?”
“No, and I'm worried.” Drayden replied, sighing, a wisp of frost leaving his beard. How odd. “I haven't been able to call them in 2 hours. I just-”
“Grandpa!!” Drayton and Iris said, pushing open the door with the strength they have left, surprising the three men.”We’re here, we’re here!”
“Kids!!” Drayden said, running over to them and hugging them tight. “I’ve been trying to get in contact with you all day…”
Ingo quickly shut the doors behind them, welding it shut with his hands. He turned around, soon seeing the kids’ injuries. “Dragons… What happened to you two?” He asked.
“I-Its Team Plasma..” Drayton said shakily, holding onto his grandfather’s arm for balance. “Ghetsis and his men.. They attacked while we were at Victory Road…”
“Ghetsis.. How verrry rude of him..” Emmet spoke, his smile having a hint of malice. Electricity crackled at his fingers, clenching them.
“H-He’s on his w-way….” Iris spoke slowly, feeling her head hurt. She began to stumble and felt dizzy. “W-We have to-..”
“Iris!!” Drayden spoke, quickly catching her before she hit the floor. She went slumped in the older man’s arms, her breathing heavy.
“Concussion…” Ingo said worriedly, seeing her bleeding forehead. He places pressure on the wound with his coat sleeve, seeing his niece’s uneasy breathing.
“We fought many Plasma grunts a-all the way here, coming from nowhere..” Drayton said, fixing his makeshift sling. “T-They’re getting ruthless…”
Drayden grit his teeth, seeing his grandchildren badly hurt. He cupped Drayton’s face with his free hand, checking him over. “They did this to you??” He asked, looking at the boy’s broken arm. The white haired teen nodded with a small wince, trying to wipe off the blood gushing from his nose. “Y-Yeah.. Ghetis is leading the charge.. He’s after you… He’s already got the others.. Clay, Lenora, Burgh..”
“Elesa…” Emmett mumbled, feeling Ingo lean on him for comfort. The attack on Nimbasa was rough, remembering their sister stayed back to provide the twins’ time to get to Opelucid City.
Drayden's blood boiled in his veins, pulling out a pokeball out from his pocket. “Hmph… Darling,” He summoned his Haxorus out, the large dragon-type immediately turning to their Master’s attention. “Go with them.”
“W-What no!!” Drayton said, reaching out to his grandfather, soon being scooped up by Emmet.. “N-No, you can't!”
The large Haxorus seem to agree, a low bellow from their throat. They wanted to stay and fight for their Master, but Drayden shook his head.
“I'll be fine, old girl. Listen and protect my family..” Drayden spoke, tossing the dragon-type’s pokeball to Drayton.
The teen caught it, looking at his grandfather with worry. He didn't want to leave his grandfather behind. “Grandpa…”
“My gym’s doors wont hold forever. Not even Ingo’s fire can hold it for long.” He said to the twins, handing Iris over to Ingo.”There’s a backway from there to get to the subways. I’ll meet you all there.
“What about you?” Emmet asked, seeing Ingo hold the girl close to his chest. “What are you going to do? This family’s cars cannot move well without you, Uncle.”
“Going to have to stop them in their tracks..” Drayden replied, clenching his fists. “They have gone too far. I can’t let this keep happening..”
“G-Grandpa, no.” Drayton said, grabbing onto his grandfather’s shirt. “You cant do this alone. I-I know you’re strong, but..
Drayden sighed, cupping his grandson’s face in his hands. “Like the Dragons, I have more power than you realize. Just like you.” His eyes glowed gold, Drayton’s own copying the manner.
“But I-”
A loud smash was heard right outside the main gym, its doors soon flying off the hinges. Team Plasma has finally broken in.
“Aha! There you are, Drayden. I had a feeling you’ll be hiding here…” Ghetis spoke, walking into the main gym with his sages and grunts. “And the Nimbasa twins… What a surprise..”
“GO.” Drayden ordered the twins, the bosses nodding and leaving with the kids, his Haxorus following behind. Some Plasma grunts were about to run after them, but Ghetis ordered them to wait.
“Aww, how touching.” Ghetis sneered, chuckling. “How noble of you to let them leave you behind.. Is it because you know your defeat is inevitable ?”
“YOU HURT THEM…” The walls of the gym seem to shake, the room getting colder around the group. A few grunts shiver as the sudden room temperature changes, some back away from the forming ice around them. Yet, the city’s gym leader didn't seem fazed, just staring ahead with a cold fury in his yellow eyes, his breathing heavy.
Ghetsis stared in shock and fascination, smirks. “Some idiocy coming from a well respected man.." He said. " Heh.. Your champion is down.. Your grandson is a weakling.. And with them, the rest of your pathetic family ran off…Even your beloved ace ran off. What makes you think you can stop us alone…?”
‘I can.. LIKE I HAVE DONE BEFORE…” Drayden spoke, but his voice was different. More ancient. More draconic. He stepped forward as he spoke, a thick icy fog entering the air as he spoke. “Black- hearted mortals like you… Always thirsting for more power… it caused me to split… The body I once had.. gone…”
More ice appeared, causing the evil team to dispose as the icy fog filled the room. Ghetsis growled. “What is this trickery, Drayden? Not even the dragon master has a pokemon with this kind of ability.. SHOW YOURSELF!!”
“Left a shell of my former self.. Truth and ideals recreated into two beings….” The voice of Drayden echo throughout the room, growling coming from every corner. “Had to pick up the pieces you mortals made for me.. Could have sought out a blood soaked end of you all.. Ending all things frozen…. No.. I wasn't going to become with what you all have made of me… what you have made of my kin..”
Footsteps approached, but the ground shook with each step. “I learned to live among you humans…as did my kin…Bonded, cherished, wept.. I believed I could forgive those who have hurt me.. NOW.. you have harmed the humans who I cherished the MOST..” The loud snarl shook the building more, the room growing more and cold that icicles and large crystals of ice began to fill the room. “ MY CHILDREN… MY KITS …you hurt those who are innocent.. Your hearts had blackened like the idealed truth like that you seem to believe..”
The footsteps grew closer, a large silhouette appeared, its head that practically reached the height of the frozen gym. More freezing fog leaves its bared teeth as it.. no HE, growled. Yellow eyes staring down at the evil team, now frozen in fear….
“W-what…. What i-is this madness…??” One of the grunts spoke, eyes wide.
“K-Kyurem…” Ghetsis whispered, shocked. “No… D-Drayden..”
The dragon growled in a dismissive snarl, turning his head toward the evil team. “Now you know… “
“W-Well this will be such a discovery! The leftover of a one powerful dragon .. as the “dragon master”.. Hm, I'm impressed.” A sage spoke, although they were shaking like a leaf. “O-Once we have him.. The black and white dragons will fall before us!”
“Your efforts will be in vain, for they have already fled… Could it be that you not realize your fate..? Now that you caused me pain once more…”
"W-What?” Ghetis said.
The dragon.. Drayden.. spoke again, a large anger-filled rumble roaring in his throat, the move Glaciate readying.
“ I will not let you leave this place alive any longer…”

Are any Pokémon able to use block able to keep Pokémon from escaping the balls, or is only Ash able to do it because he’s a trainer?
Technically no. As entering a Pokeball is akin to trying to escape the fight. You don't want that.
However, if they used the Block after a Pokemon has entered, then by all means, they are able to prevent that.
The problem is is that Pokemon aren't going to that. They have no reason to trap a pokemon within a pokeball, and many have moves to force them to return so they can escape. Dragon Tail being the most prominent in my mind.
Ash specifically does that, because He and Pikachu are not a match for Bisharp despite their jump in numbers. Bisharp has edge due to being previously trained, and having that extra edge with it's dark typing.
Pikachu is trained, but Ash is very much less so. And now they're in a position where they HAVE to work together so no ones calling the shots. So Pikachu has to take the lead.
