I saw this group of tags, and I have some things to say. First of all, I don't know these people, and I haven't looked into their blogs, I outright state that by writing this, I'm assuming things about them and of the opinions they have.

Did people in the mid 90's to early 2,000's get meal breaks? No. If you came into the U.S. as a child under 18 years old, you were treated as an adult. No meal breaks, you ate food while you worked, if you worked in the field or with animals you ate with your dirty hands. Did you forget your food? Sucks to suck. You don't get to leave unless you don't want to get paid. Did you forget to bring water? It's not provided even in sweltering heat. You wait until you get home.

This isn't new news. The people, and yes, I'm referring to immigrants, have always been treated as garbage. THIS ISN'T NEW. I'm very, very glad from the bottom of my heart that people are finally looking at us and really noticing how much we've been targeted as 'illegal aliens, terrorists, and criminals', I'm so happy beyond belief but I want people to understand what's been going on for years.

It's a new low that now the U.S born children of the people have been specifically targeted in this way. As 'legal citizens', the parents worked to bring them a better life, and this is how it's turning out.

I want to state this as clearly as possible. Saying that 'immigrants work the jobs no one wants', or 'who's going to work [insert normal job] once you deport the Mexicans?' is a very tired stereotype and is very cruel to say about anyone. We work regular jobs just like every regular person. We work in construction, in food, in social services, in translation offices, in retail, as mechanics, in big corporate positions, as our own bosses in our self made business, as a full-time parents, and yes, sometimes we have to pick fruit. We're working the jobs that everyone wants.

Just yesterday, I saw a bunch of elderly white folk protesting outside a Tesla store with signs like 'deport Elon' (approved, I'm not even going to nitpick). When people like my entire family are scared to even pass by a police officer, especially in a place where we've seen ICE patroling around, it's important that people with privileges like this are standing up for our safety when we can't.
