Simple Habits for Healthy Skin
A simple injection or a visit to the beautician is not enough to replace daily skin care. Everything that shows on our face is a symptom of a problem in our body. So let me remind you of a few tips for taking care of your body and your skin.
A normal person should drink 2.5 to 3 liters of water per day. Toxins are flushed out of the body by drinking water, and their accumulation causes skin rashes.
The skin heals twice as fast at night as it does during the day, but the peak healing time is between the second and fifth hours of sleep. Our skin pores need to "breathe" and renew themselves when we sleep. Cleanse your face thoroughly before going to bed and again the next morning. Sometimes, washing with water is not enough to clean the skin. So bathing is an effective way to rid the body of pollutants from within.
Beyond personal hygiene, make it a habit to walk at least 10,000 steps a day and eat a healthy, balanced diet. Good lifestyle habits lead to beautiful skin.
A thorough massage of the face and neck improves blood microcirculation and lymphatic drainage, which helps reduce edema; it also increases oxygen saturation of the tissues, which improves nutrition.
Replace your pillowcase with a natural silk one, which does not actively rub against the skin.
At least once a day, clean the shell of your phone with an antibacterial wipe, and make efforts to reduce stress for healthy skin and mind.
And remember, natural skin care solutions are safe and effective against aging, inflammation, and infection.

Spare skincare tips 👀 been working on myself and just got done finding the right hair routine and skincare is next and so scary! I wash my face with facial wipes and that's it (plus lotion after showers 😌) sos 😭
Yesss we love the self improvement!! Congrats on finding your hair care routine babes! ❤️ So I can’t tell you the proper skin care products to use since everyone’s skin is different! But, I can give you some general tips:
1. WASH YOUR FACE BEFORE BEDTIME!! Get rid of all the excess dirt, oils and debris from throughout the day so you can wake up refreshed.
2. Use sulfate free cleansers. Lather on the products with your fingertips. Avoid using a face towel because that can be a bit too rough for sensitive skin.
3. AVOID TOUCHING YOUR FACE!!! You may get the urge to touch your face, but this is more damaging than beneficial! Dirt and bacteria get in your pores when you do this, causing sometimes clogging and major breakouts.
4. EXFOLIATE, but don’t over exfoliate. Your skin NEEDS dead cells removed in order to flourish and glow and thrive. But, don’t over exfoliate daily to the point of causing irritation or skin tone differences.
5. Toner! This is essential for skin hydration and moisturizing.
6. Minimize oil based products. Once again, this can cause clogging and breakouts if over used on acne prone skin!
7. SUNSCREEN!!! This is VITAL. Even as a person of colour. ESPECIALLY as a person of colour. Your skin needs SPF-30! Lack of SPF may cause sun damage and other health concerns.
8. Eat healthy. Your diet alters every change inward and outward on your body. A poor diet may contribute to breakouts and clogged pores. Put that chocolate away and eat your fruits and veggies!!! Your skin will thank you for this.
9. EXERCISE. At least 30 minutes of daily exercise will help with beauty and skincare benefits that money can’t compare to. Daily exercise aids in proper blood flow and increases circulation by keeping oxygen flowing into your bloodstream. Live longer, live better!
10. CONSISTENCY. If you are not consistent with anything you do, don’t expect the results you desire. Stay on top of the game and the rest will follow suit.
11. Last but not least….WATER, WATER, WATER!!! You need it. I need it. We all need it. Dehydration is one of the main causes for dull and unlively skin. If your body is dehydrated, your skin will be too! Try to flush out your system daily by drinking half of your body weight and detoxing with herbal tea often. Avoid caffeinated and sugary drinks. Your skin will LOVE you.

4 ESSENTIAL WINTER SKIN CARE TIPS
In this blog you will read about the things you may do to keep your skin happy during the winter.
1. HOT WATER: YES OR NO?
Tumblr media
In winters it is especially appealing to take hot showers. To keep your skin hydrated keep away from them. All things being equal, utilize tepid water to shower and clean up. Hot showers dry your skin rapidly and assuming you don’t saturate it quickly, your skin can foster breaks and winter dermatitis. Whenever you have washed up, apply a cream that contains hyaluronic corrosive and ceramides.  In winter, the temperature of the water heater for bathing should be between 40-45 degrees. moisturising your skin
2. MOISTURISING YOUR SKIN
Tumblr media
Moisturize your skin with honey. It will give your skin a fresh look soft and supple skin. The air is drier in the winter, whether inside or outside. Also, therefore, the water vanishes from your body without any problem. Consequently, you really want to keep your skin hydrated. You can also use humidifier to control the humidity level in your home. This will keep your skin happy.
3. PROTECTION AGAINST SUN EXPOSURE
Tumblr media
Wear gloves and covers and remember your sunscreen salve. The warm sunbeams feel lovely, however, the UV beams can in any case harm your skin a ton.
4. WINTER ESSENTIAL  DIET
Tumblr media
Eating habits are necessary for this weather. Eat healthy to give your body the supplements to keep the skin solid.
WINTER ESSENTIAL DIET IS WRITTEN BELOW:
Soup
Tumblr media
Drink More Warm Milk
Tumblr media
Cauliflower and Broccoli
Tumblr media
Start Your Day with Porridge
Tumblr media
Consume Root Vegetables
Tumblr media
Increase Your Intake of Cheese, Eggs, and Fish

Prebiotics V/S Commercially available skincare products
Tumblr media
                                                      V/S
Tumblr media
This pandemic has turned the world upside down. Both ways, good and bad.
Firstly, it has taken away our freedom of movement outdoors. It has also resulted in one's mental saturation.
Looking at the brighter side, haven't we all changed a bit? YES, WE HAVE! Mostly, for good. We now understand the importance of a break. The beauty in detachment from worldly pleasure and being one with our "own-self". Ticking off that one to-do from your bucket list rather than waiting for the right moment to come. Indulging yourself into self-care and pampering. We appreciate our presence and the care we deserve more than ever.
The change we have decided to make for ourselves have greatly reflected in the choices we make. Change is our lifestyle and making conscious choices by being a part of nature and living with it has become a priority.
Tumblr media
Speaking of which, the way people perceive beauty has also changed over time. You might have always listened to a general physician say, "Consume prebiotic food like yogurt to help yourself with digestive health." Recently, a new crop of prebiotic skin care products is on the market, with just one goal of making skin healthier. There comes a big dilemma when one thinks of choosing a product, especially a skincare product.
And with the recently introduced prebiotic skin care products, many questions arrive.
What's the difference between the known probiotic and prebiotic?
What are the exclusive differences between a prebiotic skincare product and commercial skincare products?
What are the advantages of including prebiotic skincare into your daily routine? What exactly qualifies a skincare product as prebiotic?
But you can calm down coz we are here to guide you through this honestly.
Tumblr media
Let's first discuss prebiotics in detail!
Prebiotics are specialized plant fibers that act as food for good bacterias. In short, prebiotics serves the probiotics of your body. They are largely affected by your gut health. These prebiotics is organically grown without using any pesticides or fertilizer.
They aid in skin protection. In skincare, a combination of prebiotics and probiotics can improve skin surface protection.
It will ensure that the skin has everything it needs to maintain its barrier intact, smooth, and healthy.
Microbes are known to be involved in numerous skin problems like acne and psoriasis
So we now have new prospects for treating these skin conditions with prebiotic skincare.
Prebiotic foods improve the skin's barrier function b decreasing the prospect of developing allergic skin diseases.
Applying a prebiotic on the skin is the most direct and effective way to affect the skin's microbiome.
Tumblr media
The major protagonist of iORA's prebiotic skincare product is
●       Alphaglucan ooligasachharide.
-        A particular transferase enzyme breaks down or ferments sucrose and maltose to produce this.
-        When this ingredient is introduced to a product, it helps to balance the skin's environment.
-        Prebiotics feed probiotics and increase their production, which enhances the flora of the skin.
●       The great UV protector is Scenedesmus Rubescens Extract!
-        It's made from freshwater algae that shield our skin from the detrimental effects of blue light.
-        This extract will assist to improve your defense barrier, balance out skin tone, and neutralize free radical damage if used on a regular basis.
Tumblr media
●       Hyaluronic acid
-        It is the most talked-about active ingredient in the beauty world.
-        Hyaluronic acid, derived from corn, promotes moisture, fights fine lines and wrinkles, and speeds up the healing of facial scars.
-        With its antioxidant characteristics, natural retinol derived from a variety of vegetables calms the skin.
-        Acne, wrinkles, and fine lines can all be reduced with regular use.
As we age, our bodies lose collagen, causing our skin to shrink and wrinkle. This can be slowed down by combining amino acid fragments from several proteins to create a new collagen-like protein. Because of this attractiveness, your skin can now be naturally elastic and plump, with fewer evident symptoms of aging.
There have been promising hints from dermatologists and skincare products manufacturers that prebiotics may be beneficial for certain skin conditions.
Let’s move on to commercially available Skin Care products -
One of the most essential benefits of utilizing skincare products is that the skin receives the nutrients it needs to stay young and healthy. We are often unable to meet the needs and criteria for a youthful and healthy face due to an improper eating routine. Please don't get us wrong: We are not suggesting that using skincare products can substitute for eating juicy, fresh fruits.
Tumblr media
Chemically based skincare products should be used with caution and under the supervision of a specialist. - ..because they can create or worsen your existing skin problems.
1) Dependency - One of the most awful consequences of an overreliance on chemicals is dependency.
2) Chemicals - Chemical-based products sometimes can have after-effects and negative effects. Many of us are also allergic to particular ingredients, which might cause problems if we are negligent or ignorant.
3) Limitations and extra precautions- People who feel subjugated and enslaved if forced to utilize the items for an extended period of time. When you use certain products that insist on preserving dietary elements while simultaneously restricting food consumption; it is absolutely unpleasant.
As we can clearly see, a comparative study gave us more clarity. We hope this blog helps you to make a conscious decision about choosing the RIGHT skincare product. This will not only make you glow and feel beautiful from the outside but also from the inside.

Whatever your age, there is always a routine adapted to your skin
No matter what your age, you need to take care of your skin to keep it healthy, vibrant and youthful. Your skin care needs will change the course of your life. Here are my top suggestions and skincare ritual choices for beautiful skin at any age.
Your twenties are a great time to start developing good skin care habits. At 20, a simple regimen of cleansing, toning, exfoliating, moisturizing, and sun protection may be all you need. Add a vitamin C serum to your daily regimen for a preventative measure that will help you avoid free radical damage.
Your life is probably quite hectic in your 30s, whether it's work or family obligations or both. Your eyes are one of the first places to show your fatigue and the first signs of aging. If you don't already have one, invest in a quality gentle eye cream or serum that addresses puffiness, dark circles, and the very first fine lines.
Your 30s are often when you start to see the first signs of aging in the form of fine lines and loss of radiance. To address this, add a vitamin C serum and consider incorporating a retinol product. Also, add a specific nighttime skin care product.
During midlife, your skin can become very sensitive to the sun and you may be prone to hyperpigmentation, in the form of skin discoloration and age spots. Protect your skin by using a high-quality, natural-based SPF30 sunscreen daily, and don't forget your hands, arms, neck, and chest in addition to your face.
Due to hormonal changes, your skin often lacks moisture in your 50s. Double the use of a serum with a moisturizing cream. Hyaluronic acid can help firm the skin and provide much-needed moisture. Remember, it's all about creating a barrier and retaining moisture by using a layer of moisturizing and treating products. You are giving the first product, like the HA serum, a chance to be absorbed before applying the second layer.
If you're 60+, keep it up. A lifetime of healthy skin care habits can result in skin that looks younger than its actual age. But it's never too late to start or improve your commitment to healthy skin. Retinol serum, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid should be the mainstay of your skin care routine.
True beauty is eternal and timeless because it resides within you. However, you can make that inner beauty shine by taking care of your skin, no matter what decade you live in. It's an action that will continue to pay off throughout your life.
