filler doodles about how i comedically whitewashed myself as a child (despite also being the darkest i had and still have ever been in my entire life) because i cannot wrap my head around it
#filler art#my art#i was also short haired at the time so its odd i drew myself as having very long hair but is it any more weird than me whitwashing myself no#i remember i also imagined myself to grow up as a white girl like#HUH??? like i was so convinced i was going to look like all the white main character girls on television ... i had to look like one#all of this was probably because of the lack of representation in tv i could find at the time tbh#BECAUSE THIS WASNT AN ISSUE OF MY DAY TO DAY LIFE NOOOOOO#in here being... moreno?!?! . brown?!?!! EVEN IF LIGHT IS MILES MORE COMMON THAN BEING WHITE#AND ITS SO MUCH MROE SILLIER BECAUSE I WAS MCUH MORE DARK THAN I CURRENTLY AM BACK THEN#as of now im more so lightskinned . nowhere near white but im not very dark either because i dont see rhe sun often ww so im pale#BACK THEN I GOT BURNT ON THE SUN AS A HOBBY im serious i sat on the hot rock floor with burning sun climate bevause it was nice#NOT EVEN THE CURLS COULD BE SAVED I HAD TO PORTRAY MYSELF AS STRAIGHT HAIRED FOR WHATEVER REASON#like on my defense i did straighten my hair out a lot as a young child but THAT LASTED LIKE 2 DAYS EVERY TIME#so 90% i was curls so its funny#ALSO WHY DID WE CALL THE CREAM COLOR “THE SKIN COLOR” WHAT#like. it wasnt just me . whole elementary school knew if you asked for rhe skin color you talkin about thay#any tone of brown simply did not work I DONT KNOW WHY WE WERE ALL LIKE THIS???#thankfully at the age of 10 i realized i infact had melanin but .. i coudlnt accept i had black hair still💀💀#so my skin and hqir color were always the same in portrayals ITS SO FUNNY IM SORRY#I FIDN THIS INSANELY FUNNY IM SO SORRY#dont feel too concerned i wasnt ashamed of my skin color or anything but i had the warped idea i would look white soon#not if you keep cooking youself in the sun you wont /j#i dont know what to say about how i draw myself now a days i dont draw myself as myself but i know i aint white now its okay 🩷 (/hj)

More Space Rabbit Morphs!!
I hope this is a better example for your question @drawingsphopho !
Albinism usually expresses itself as hairlessness(which includes whiskers and much of the ears) and underdeveloped and/or weak eyes. This rabbit, however, retained a medium length shag coat from a parent! This is pretty rare, but considering the random toss up of genes rabbits pass down, it's not unheard of to see genes "cancel eachother out".
TRUE Melanism is pretty rare. Instead, most dark rabbits are a sleek dark brown. Because of this, not many individuals express patterns or differing exoskeleton colors. Seems to be the darker the color the more suppressed the patterns!
Mosaic genes (like chimerism), piebaldism, and vitiligo are surprisingly common among space rabbits! This is most likely due to their high birth rate and common reproductive issues. They can even develop similar looking discoloration and age spots as they shed old, strained, or damaged carapaces. These are common in athletes and other such hard physical work. Kind of like metal as hell permanent bruises! The individual pictured has splotches similar to blaschko lines in humans that trace the shapes of the exoskeleton.
#art#digital art#space rabbits#speculative biology#spec bio#skin condition#fun fact: tuffy is not a true albino!#her setae is actually just a semitransparent off white color#close to a cream sort of color#her carapace is a light pink and her eyes are fully formed and functioning#shes really just the equivalent of platinum blonde lol#aliens#almost forgot that tag

my littlest cousin is very sick with some sort of upper respiratory for like the 20th time in his very short little life. 😢 it's so hard not to mentally backseat parent in a situation like this. at least his mom is always quick with the doctor's visits, that makes me feel better at least.
#it's hard not to judge#not that i ever say anything because what use would it do#but she's a nurse who doesn't mask at work#and he's been in daycare since he was like 3 months old#he had rsv before his eyes had the light of awareness in them#she is doing a good job with him in many ways! he's vaccinated and he gets all sorts of boosters and she's got tricks & tips for everything#like his eyes used to cross a lot when he was a newborn and she would hold her hand over his eyes for like 10 seconds to unstick em#and she was putting breastmilk in his baths to help his skin#and using barrier cream to prevent diaper rash like i honestly don't know that he has ever in his life had diaper rash#idk what to think. i don't have a baby specifically because of situations like this.#he needs to stop being around tons of other children during a pandemic#he also needs socialisation and his parents need to earn money to keep him alive#like. the fuck are you supposed to do.#i guess everyone's just gonna be sick all the time now. especially babies with no immune systems. and that's that.#adam yaps

#ITALY. SUMMER 1985.#peach & honey in the air. ice-cream cones on the pavement#windows flung wide-open#an orchard of apricot trees with wind-chime breeze through the leaves & branches shimmering with heat-haze. there's a timeless oil-painting#& you#paint- spattered camera-flash on your skin#you#& you. i want to live like this forever. always reaching for each other and never quite touching. light bathing the marble-skin of your bac#muscles rippling the way the river flows#softly#urgent. call it love#call it anything you want. in this life#it starts raining the second we say each other's names / in the next#the world stops breathing right before we kiss for the first time / in another#we jump into the river at dawn and never come up for air.

Do you know what its like to be trans?
[Comic description: A comic about being trans. Long descriptions follow.
1. A light-skinned trans woman with shoulder-length brown hair stands at her bathroom sink wearing a T-shirt with a fish on it, draped so that her left shoulder hangs out. The text reads, ‘Let me teach you, what its like to be trans.’ 2. A blister pack of unlabelled pills sits next to this are two prescription bottles, one of Estrodial and one of Spironolactone, the latter of which is on its side with pills spilling out. The text reads, ‘What it’s like to spend years of waiting / For the right people to tick the box to tick the box to say your sick enough to get treatment. / Treatment to be you.’ 3. The woman brushes her teeth while looking at a tablet propped up by the sink. The text reads, ‘Do you know what its like to be a prop for political power? / To know they Dont actually care?’ The word ‘actually’ is underlined. 4. The woman sticks her tongue out in concentration as she works on the clasps of a bra behind her back. The text reads, ‘Do you know what it’s like? Do wait years for your body to change?’ 5. The woman starts shaving her cheeks and chin, which are covered in cream. The text reads, ‘What its like to work (emphasis) so (end emphasis) hard to overcome every toxic gender norm?’ 6. The woman touches her own shoulders with an unhappy expression. The text reads, ‘To take stock at the damage puberty has done?’ 7. A bottle of nail polish lies on its side dripping onto the counter. Polish has been splashed against the wall. The woman’s hands are visible in the sink, with just her right thumbnail painted. The text reads, ‘Do you know what its like? / To paint your nails only to see how disgusting your hands make you feel?’ 8. The woman bends over the sink, with her eyes shut and tears streaming down her face. The text says, ‘What its like, To do your makeup wrong / and see every feature you hate (emphasis) highlighted (end emphasis)?’
9. Fully dressed with a bag on her shoulder, the woman stands in her doorway with the door open and light streaming in. The text reads, ‘Do you Know what Its like to go outside? / When all it takes is one person to think that you are large enough danger to childrens lives to end yours.’ 10. The door is closed. A single point of light streams in from the peep hole and hits the woman’s head. She has one hand on the door and is looking down at the doorknob with a sad expression. Her bag lies on the ground beside her. The text says, ‘It paralyzes you.’
11. Back to the scene in the bathroom, similar to the first panel but mirrored and with a large black X scratched over the woman’s face. The text reads, ‘Do you Know what its like? / To not be seen as a person? / Because that’s what you taught me.’ \End descriptions]

GLOW UP GUIDE FOR 2025⠀
READ: On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic — 66 days to be exact. And considering that 2025 is precisely these many days away, why not start with our glow up plan already?
Physical Glow Up-
BODY
— 5-10K steps a day.
— 7-8 hours of sleep.
— workout everyday for 1 hr atleast- yoga/stretching/pilates/cardio. a workout may take one hour, but your mood will be boosted for the next 12 hours.
— posture training.
— sunlight exposure after waking up for at least 10 minutes.
NUTRITION
— 2-3 liters of water every day.
— limit your caffeine intake.
— avoid sugars as much as you can.
— high protein diet, pre and probiotics.
— more fruits and veggies (+ green smoothies if you like).
— no junk/processed food/trans fat.
— no eating after 8 pm.
SKINCARE
— be clear on your skin type (oily, dry, combination, sensitive).
— once you're clear, use these accordingly- cleanser, toner, targeted serum, eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen (≥50 spf).
— keep your bedding clean as well.
— no picking of skin on your lips, cuticle etc.
— gua sha to help improve blood circulation and lessen toxins.
— cold therapy may take three to five minutes of being uncomfortable, but your energy levels will be boosted for the rest of the day.
— remove makeup before you go to bed.
BODY CARE
— shower every day.
— exfoliate 2x a week.
— use body lotion (shea butter/aloe vera gel/coconut oil).
HAIR CARE
— wash hair 2-3x a week
— oil your scalp 2x a week, at least 3 hours before shampoo.
— hair mask 1x per week.
— never brush wet hair.
— use silk pillow case.
HYGIENE
— brush your teeth 2x a day, clean tongue and the roof of the mouth daily.
— floss daily.
— cut your nails 1x a week, never remove the cuticles.
— glycolic acid under arm for odor and discoloration.
— never use soap on your coochie.
Mental Glow Up-
MINDSET
— set clear goals- define and breakdown your aspirations.
— start your mornings with positive affirmations.
— surround yourself with uplifting content and people.
— be shamelessly selfish to your career and mental health, remove anyone or anything that doesn't align with your priorities and wellbeing.
— boost your brain health by these 4 neuroscience tools:
difficult first: start your day with the most difficult task (cortisol and dopamine are high in the body meaning that your body/mind is primed to work).
rest your eyes: introduce a micro-pause after learning by resting/closing your eyes - will help retain information better.
tomorrow's worries: write tomorrow's to-do list before bed as it is proven to be effective in helping you fall asleep.
find time to play: engage in low-stake play. can be anything you find fun but where the outcome doesn't matter (induces neuroplasticity + reduces stress).
MIND
— meditation might take as low as ten minutes, but your focus will be improved for the rest of the day.
— no social media after waking up and at least an hour before bed.
— keep aside 1 hr of time to read daily! reading a new book may take five hours, but you will keep the knowledge forever.
— journaling, gratitude.
— digital detox once a week or for 12 hours.
— limit unnecessary screentime, unfollow or cut off people you don't want to see.
JOURNALING
— choose a regular time each day to journal, making it a part of your routine.
— find a quiet, comfortable place free from distractions. light a candle if you want.
— allow your thoughts to flow without censoring or editing.
— write about your feelings and emotions to understand them better. write about things you are thankful for to boost your mood. write about your short-term and long-term goals. identify what triggers certain emotions or reactions
— set a timer for 5-10 minutes and write continuously during that time.
— reflect on both positive experiences and challenges.
— make lists, journal your thoughts on these questions.
— journal at night to clear your mind before bedtime, because emotions and thoughts lose their power once we acknowledge them.
— a gratitude practice may take five minutes, but your mindset will be shifted for the rest of the day.
AFFIRMATIONS
— customise affirmations to your needs.
Personal Life-
WEEKLY TASKS
— initiate small changes: begin with small, manageable tasks such as making your bed or cleaning your room every sunday.
— celebrate your success: reward yourself when you achieve your goals or have a consistently productive week. consider treats like buying flowers for yourself or watching your favorite show.
DAILY WORK
— set achievable goals: establish realistic goals for the day, week, or month ahead.
— track your progress.
— organise your work space, declutter your shelves etc.
— embrace the power of lists: keep a list of tasks to be done and their deadlines. this way, you start each day with a clear plan. to make it visually appealing and motivating, consider using productivity apps like evernote, habit tracker, or notion.
PRODUCTIVITY TIPS
— wake up early.
— plan ahead everything, do scheduling. you can use:
google calendar / notion / tasks .
— if the task takes less than 2 minutes to finish, do it immediately.
— countdown rule, if you are procrastinating, count 1-2-3-4-5 and jump.
— start slow, don't rush and try to do everything at one time.
— follow a proper routine, use app locks based on screentime.
— pomodoro technique, 25 min work, and 5 min break.
— schedule longer break times as well e.g 30 min nap.

If you suffer from sensitive skin that is prone to dryness, flaking, redness, and irritation, you know how challenging it can be to find moisturizers that provide relief instead of further aggravating your skin. The wrong ingredients can sting, burn, and trigger even more inflammation, leading to a vicious cycle of dry, itchy, uncomfortable skin. However, with the right moisturizers made specifically for irritation-prone complexions, it is possible to soothe, calm, and deeply hydrate sensitive skin. The key is finding formulations with gentle, non-irritating ingredients that reinforce the skin barrier, lock in moisture, reduce redness, and comfort without clogging pores. The Phix has introduced a remarkable product that promises to address these concerns. In this comprehensive guide, we'll explore the benefits of the Skin Silk Moisturizer and delve into the realm of skincare, uncovering the Best Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin, particularly designed to combat dryness and alleviate irritation. Understanding the Importance of Proper Moisturization Sensitive skin is often more prone to dryness, redness, and irritation due to external factors like harsh weather conditions, allergens, or using products with harsh chemicals. The Skin Silk Moisturizer is lightweight, ensuring that it absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a residue. This makes it the Best Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin who want effective hydration without the heaviness. The Phix solutions formulate the most sensitive, easily irritated complexions in mind for non-irritating skin essentials that work to transform and reinforce skin health, beauty, and comfort. Rediscover calm, deeply hydrated, radiant skin with The Best Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin and Instant Radiance & Depuffing Duo.
