I have been thinking about shoutmon’s line, since Shoutmon does not really have a mega level digimon. So I got the idea for two lines, one based of the xrosses, so Shoutmon, Shoutmon x2, Shoutmon x3, and Shoutmon x5b, with further digivolutions based of Shoutmon x7, and Shoutmon ex6, and a line based on what we know about Shoutmon, Shoutmon, Shoutmon (hunters), Omnishoutmon, and Either Shoutmon DX or Maybe Kingshoutmon?

Under further investigation, the SQUIPS do in fact originate from the Digital World, having been developed at the city-research faculty Larc, but the hows and whys are still being examined.

What gets me is most of the Boom original MegaZords feel designed with Digimon in mind.

That red one screams Shoutmon to me.

Like either an alternate Digivolution from OmniShoutmon or a DigiXros with Baihumon.

And you can’t convince me this guy…

…wasn’t at least partially inspired by Omnimon.

The Serpentera one above in a suit is kinda cool on paper but it makes me think of a sword less Shoutmon DX.

The White Tiger DragonZord is one of the better designs.

It still gives me a Digimon vibe, but it has a stronger Super Robot design like PR/Sentai is supposed to have. Like this guy is like if GaiGar had an extra drill accessory mode before combining into GaoGaiGar.

The OmegaZords meanwhile…

Oy… I kinda see what they were going for, this Eva-Unit meets Zeo Zord direction…

But no. It’s removing all the charm of the robot designs for this maximum edge vibe that I don’t like much about the Boom comics.

Besides the bizarre Gattai from above using older Zords, they at least tried to correct this with this form.

But it still doesn’t feel like Power Rangers, if feels more like Seraphimon, RahXephon and an Eva-Unit smooshed together.

Power Ranger Zord designs work best when they’re something like this…

What do you think a potential Double Xros between Tagiru and Taiki would look like? Taiki and Kiriha had Shoutmon DX but i always wondered what Tagiru and Taiki could do with their respective Partners ^-^

DigiXros tends to have more consistent results of the Xrossed Digimon looking like it's composed of the component Digimon than, say, Jogress or general fusion, so...hm, I imagine we’re talking about OmegaShoutmon and Arresterdramon, right? So it would be very gold and blue, right...?
