SHORT SLEEVE WEATHER © 2024 G. Smith (BMI) =================== Cold and gray and rainy, Ice forming in the ole downspout, I’m Jonesin’ in my bones ‘n’ I don’t know if I’ll hold out.
Addicted, afflicted, My will power’s caving, And if you know me like you say you do, You know what I’m craving.
I need to take the coat off, And get into short sleeve weather; Head for sun and fun, As long as we’re together. Winter’s barely started, And I’m already chilled to the bone; So come on with me to the sand and the sea, I don’t wanna go down there alone.
Let’s pack and hit the highway, Before the snow starts falling. Listen closely and I know you’ll hear, The same snowbird a-calling.

#tw sh#im fine although there was definitely a moment where i worried i wouldn't be#when you grab a rag and put pressure on it and a few minutes later move your hand and discover it was completely soaked and your hand#is all bloody now too. anyway it stopped shortly after that#someone told me recently that the width they'll start considering sutures is like 5mm which seems??? so odd to me??? like that's tiny??#anyway i didn't go as deep as the last two times yet so it's fine#(i also have a horrible habit of repeatedly going over the same place for several days afterwards so that will probably change)#but eh im fine#i was just surprised by how deep it got how quickly#also something i find funny: the way nurse brain doesn't shut off#'will i pick here - no wait that's near an artery/vein/nerve'#'or here - no wait that's too close to a good cannulation site'#'here - no too close to deltoid'#personal#puddleglum hours#but yeah i really am fine#although i have thoroughly discovered the allure of arm cutting so. we'll see#in my usual scintillating cleverness i literally thought about visibility this time bc it's nearly short sleeve weather and nobody knows im#going this deep. except my mentor and my sister. but they both only know about the first time#however i did not consider. that most of my clothing does not have as long a short sleeve as my placement uniform. so im gonna either#have to be real careful about what clothing i pick for the next. oh month or two. since the first one was end of august and it's a month an#a bit later and it's still got a while of healing to go before i can wear short sleevs and pretend the scar was from months an months ago i#asked. anyway!#play stupid games you win stupid prizes

Nuvema gang here.
A peculiar troublemaking trio that specialize not only in seeking out ideals as youthful heroes, but with the weather as well; Nate utilizes rain, Hugh utilizes sandstorms, and Rosa utilizes hail!
Nate Blake - A new hero emerging from Aspertia City. Having obtained his own Pokemon and Pokedex, he leaves on a journey with his friends in his quest to become a hero- a hero that spreads smiles, unlike The Hero of Truth.
Hugh Obsidian - A young trainer who has been preparing for his journey ever since that fateful day when Team Plasma attacked, leaving him and his friends scarred, and his sister with her Pokemon stolen. Even with his recklessness, he still manages to be the most sensible and responsible of the trio.
Rosa Whitefield - An excitable starlet, and Unova's next sensation- or so she claims. Though she seeks the thrills of life and to have the spotlight on her, she's more keen than she lets on- her intuition is almost never wrong.

It is so cold on this goddamn bus. Please. Help
#there is NO reason it should be 65 degrees in here….#I’m wearing a short sleeve dress bc it was so hot this morning because. you know. Florida in the summer#but then it rained and now it’s cool and breezy outside#and I was going to take my scooter home and enjoy the weather but I decided to take the bus last minute bc I was worried it might rain again#BUT IT’S STILL NOY RAINING#AND I WOULD’VE BEEN HOME BY NOW BC THE BUS TAKES SO LONG#AND#I AM SO COLD 😭#this post is sooo light hearted btw I love the bus. thank you bus#I love to sit and write my silly fan fiction instead of doing cardio#but I just get cold so easily. and I didn’t bring a jacket today of all days. and for some reason TODAY every building has been so cold 😭😭😭😭#anuway I’m excited to get home and eat my new snacks 👍 and play vidya game#also I just had therapy! it was good :) I didn’t really have anything to talk about but I think it went well regardless#I kept apologizing for talking too much and also. everything. and she was like ‘let’s reframe that shall we’ 🥲😅😅😅#ellyposting

I'm really concerned about old xian's health. Sitting behind a computer for long period of times can cause serious damage to your body especially your neck, back, shoulder and wrist. And many comic artists and mangakas are suffering from it after drawing for many years and old xian has been drawing for more than 7 years. I remember they used to update every seven days and more regularly, but now they're taking longer breaks, and it's taking a longer time to get a new update, and recently it seems like old xian takes a break after updating two chapters.
I hope old xian take break as much as they need, I don't want them to hospitalized from over work😥🙏🏻

Jason, especially in that one Teen Titans comic, often complains about the lack of pants he has. And I'm haunted thinking about that at all times
#he clearer wanted to have pants. or at the very least. something more suited for cold environments#boy was in the fucking arctic. pantless. and then teased for asking how wonder woman wasnt cold. he cant catch a break 😔#its just so weird. so wild#im not sayijg. entirely. that bruce was forcing jason to have the same costume as dick with no changes for him#but also.#he was. like he was clearly stated in comics to be doing that with thw whole#makikg him go by robin making him wear the robin costume saying he is robin now. not acknowledging him as like a different robin#no villains really pointed out. only harvey bullock did. i miss harvey bullock so bad#like. its more of a subtle hes not allowed to change it. where i dont think he really thinks he can ask#wpuld jason habe been able to get pants if he directly asked? well.#i want to give bruce the benefit of the doubt and say yes#lets just say that#amd obviously this changed with tim#probably bc the writers wanted to steer clearer of making a possible dick clone or copy#but like in universe#bruce either realized making your kid dress uo as your other kid is kinda fucked. wanted tim to have more protection#couldn't stand tim looking like jason. or tim was firmer in getting a new suit where jason was more passive about for many possible reasons#or something else. who knows. its all up to you#he doesn't even have like a winter suit or something. dang. bruce you're a million billionaire or whatever#you can afford fancy heaters in both suits but you cant make robin some spare pants. he was in the arctic.#i dont careee they were just walking to the fortress which was warm. he had no pants OR long sleeves#when jason was left to his own devices to make his own suit he had covered legs and arms. the shorts is not whats in his heart#why DONT they have winter or colder weather outfits huh.#i can forgive the robin uniform because yknow running around working out working up a sweat#but my disbelief can only be suspended so far#when snows involved i simply cannot accept it#but thats leaning away from canon and more going into “if i could whatever i wanted and redesign them to be vaguely more practical”

#noopa rambles#hdjddjd I'm trying to figure out what to wear to a friend's Fancy Tea Party on saturday#the obvious choice was ofc either a full folk dress or some folk dress pieces#I'm pretty sure I won't go for the full dress at this point; esp bc the weather forecast is. not great#protecting the wool skirt from the weather(tm) might be a pain#protecting just the vest is much easier#rn I'm thinking I'm gonna opt for my Kaukola vest and shirt and throw some black pants on to go with it#if anyone wants a reference google 'kaukolan kansallispuku' (the women's version)#I do not have the veil; I have the headband (not sure if I'll wear it for the party but it goes Woosh!!!)#I can't believe the shirt still (mostly) fits; I got it when I was 11 dhdjjd#the sleeves are too short and the hem too but otherwise it was fine???#I remembered that the shoulders would've been tight but they weren't???#the hem is gonna be a bit annoying if I wear the shirt with pants bc it will try to ride up when I tuck it in#the sleeves are fine if my arms are down but they defo ride up when I move them#I should acquire a slightly bigger shirt...#tho the skirt of that dress is simply too small so it might be easier to just sell the whole thing#but the things are so damn expensive so getting a new one would be hard and I'm emotionally attached#I do have a different dress (rautjärvi) that is actually in my size#which I would opt for if I was gonna wear a whole ensemble#tho for some reason the cuffs of that shirt are actually tighter than the cuffs of the old too small shirt???#just how small has my aunt been when that dress was made for her!!!#granted she was a teenager then and not. almost thirty. but dhdjdkd what the fuck man#the only real downside to this whole ordeal is that I need to iron the damn shirt...#it's So Wrinkly#damn this fancy tea party for making me iron shit!!!
