Let’s talk about this.
Why both will and el are so connected is because they both have the same storyline. They both have the same end purpose: acceptance.
!!warning: long post ahead!!
Will’s storyline: acceptance of love.
Unlike what most milevens believe, the duffers aren’t planning to end Will’s story with him accepting that he is gay because he HAS already accepted it. He accepted the fact that he was gay and in love with Mike, hence, the painting.
The painting, from the start, was a way of Will confessing his feelings (etc. you’re the heart) but it was never going to be said out loud. He had just planned to give it to Mike during the airport scene and it was supposed to be over.
But instead, he used it as a way to build up Mike’s confidence in himself and also lead up to say ‘I love you’ to El. He used El as a shadow over his own feelings to help Mike.
Will accepts that he likes men and is attracted to Mike. What he doesn’t accept is that he is going to fall in love. We see this in season 3 when he’s talking with Joyce.
This was a scene directly after a canon couple’s scene. Both Jonathan and Nancy are in fact in love with each other and when Joyce says the words ‘you won’t think it’s gross when you fall in love’ it indicates she meant when Will is in a relationship, not when Will is some one-sided love triangle.
So when Will says he isn’t going to fall in love, he is saying this because he knows he’s feelings in a relationship are not going to be reciprocated. He isn’t saying it because he hasn’t fallen in love with someone, he’s saying that it’s impossible for those feelings to be mutual.
Also to remind you, there was no need to put this scene in the first place if it was not hinting at something. It could’ve just been Jonathan and Nancy getting away and Joyce wiping lipstick off his face, indicating that she knew Nance was there anyway.
Throughout season 3, we can clearly notice that Will is struggling with something not related to the mind flayer. He’s struggling with his childhood, his friends and change. And the most important change is his feelings towards a certain friend.
Because of these feelings we get the rain scene. This was Will struggling to accept that he was different (gay) and in love with Mike. This was season 3’s struggle. But in season 4, through the painting, we see it’s been resolved.
He has accepted this but knows he isn’t going to be in love. He knows he’s feelings aren’t going to be reciprocated. So he does the next best thing other than confessing, and help mileven build up their already broken relationship.
Even more so, the scene with Jonathan and Will in the pizza place was acceptance enough for Will to come out. Both Will and Jonathan knew what they were talking about, the subtexts were very obvious. This was the acceptance of Will being gay and in love with Mike.
Now anybody with a right mind would see that this is clearly building up to something more important. A gay boy who thinks he’s feelings are not going to be accepted using he’s only way of confessing as a tool for a problematic ‘straight’ couple.
We must give the duffers credit as we know they aren’t just going to ignore Will’s feelings next season or slap him with some background character as a way of resolving this. There has to be more.
El's storyline: acceptance of independence.
Throughout her whole life, El has always been told what to do. Whether it has been for positive or negative means, she's never made a decision in her entire life leading up to season 2.
Let's be clear that before this girl knew the word 'friend', 'family' and 'love' meant, she had already gotten into a relationship. That before she ever knew what she liked and disliked, she was already in a relationship with the supposed boy of her dreams.
Anyways, independence is something so rooted in El’s storyline. It’s something repeated throughout the seasons. We see it in season 2 when she goes out on her own to find her mother and sister. It is important to note that Mike was not a part of this journey. Mike was not the sole focus or someone El thought she needed at that time.
Even in season 3, we are given the fact that El has never made a decision for herself. The strongest decision we ever see that season was her breaking up with Mike and even that has been disregarded by milevens, saying that Max influenced her or that she ‘didn’t know what she was doing’ or that ‘she’s just a teenager’.
Let’s be clear that anybody in a relationship is given the option to break up and leave the relationship if they want to. Max did not ‘influence’ her, she merely gave her the option. The option that is rightfully hers. By saying that it wasn’t really her decision or that she didn’t know what she was thinking, it’s like saying she doesn’t have an option.
She has the right to leave a relationship if she wants to.
The words ‘not hopper, not mike, you’ is so important to a character like El. A character that has been locked up and dependent throughout her life, finally given a choice to decide for herself is powerful.
Season 3 is important in El’s arc to independence because unlike what Milevens say, she doesn’t require Mike to be there for her to feel complete. The reason that El went to find Mike in season 2 was because they need each other is debunked in season 3. It shows that even when Mike is within her reach, she doesn’t go find him.
Now in season 4, we see a very big shift in her attitude from the previous seasons. She’s pretending to have a normal life when she clearly isn’t. She’s lying and hiding behind a fake persona to make her seem happy. She is still grieving from hopper while trying to put everything behind her and live a ‘normal’ life.
She, like many milevens, is building a reality where her and Mike are the supposed perfect couple. A reality where they are truly in love. She lies to Mike and herself throughout the rink-o-mania scene. And this all unfortunately breaks when Angela (that bitch) comes into the picture.
She throws El’s persona into the fire and absolutely humiliates her in front of the one person she didn’t want to be humiliated in front of. And this is where we see their relationship break (even more).
We see the first crack when El says that Mike doesn’t understand how she feels. To be honest, she’s right. Mike didn’t know how it felt to move to a whole new side of the country without her father and to be subjected to brutal bullying. But disregarding his feelings towards bullying is also something she does.
Now the curtains are open and everything is shown. We then get a scene of El basically pleading Mike to tell her he loves her. But instead of admitting it, Mike gaslights her and tells her their problems are caused by other people.
Mike says he says he loves her but if this was really the most important couple in the show I’m sure the duffers would’ve included the supposed scenes where Mike and El say they love each other TO EACH OTHER. And when she brings out proof, he calls her ridiculous.
Even in the van scene, he says that he’s scared that El won’t need him anymore. He wants to feel like a hero to her, someone that can protect her when in reality, she is way past it. She wants him to love her but he wants her to need him. He wants her to be dependent on him.
Through the beginning of season 4, we see her define herself in the way Mike sees her. While giving him a false narrative of her life, she pretends she lives in them. Plastering a fake smile just so that Mike would think she’s enjoying herself in Lenora and lying about parties to make herself seem cool.
You can see how defeated she looks when she realises that Mike might not love her at all.
She, like so many more milevens, want Mike to be the perfect lover, the person who is with her through all her problems and a shoulder to cry on. But he isn’t that person and she knows it.
But after she leaves Mike, we can truly see what her goals are. There isn’t a scene throughout her journey where she thinks of Mike and you can see her gain more confidence in herself, once again proving that she doesn’t need him to feel complete.
She does better without him.
Her arc was never about romance. Her arc was about finding who she truly is. It was about her finding a place in this world where she doesn’t have to be the hero or villain in the story. It was about her growing alongside the people she loves and the family she built.
We see that she realises that she is her own superhero, that she can solve her own problems and that she doesn’t need a shoulder to cry on. She can take on a challenge headfirst without letting anyone define who she is.
She doesn’t need Mike telling her that he loves her to realise that she is loved or that she can live a normal and happy life just like how she doesn’t need to forgive brenner to know that she is a good person. She is her own person.
And before anybody comes at me, yes. A woman can be in a relationship and still be independent. But once it come to a point of lying about and to yourself and defining who you are through another person’s feelings, it is not healthy.
She has taken on challenges before Mike, during Mike and will continue to do so after Mike (and all this happened without Mike). She doesn’t need him.
Both Will and El need support and love through their journey. It only comes down to what type of love they need that’s important. El does not need romantic love to thrive while that’s the only love Will is lacking.
Anyways we also clearly see that in the end El is on her own journey and that Mike and Will are a team alongside all the other endgame couples.
So byler endgame and El independent arc era.
(My writing is a bit sloppy here and there so if there are any questions regarding it pls ask. Also again, sorry for long post)

they were doing “is madeleine a pedo for being attracted to claudia” discourse on twitter the other day and i would like it very much if twitter was just nuked as a website lol
#rani makes text posts no one will read#claudeleine#my answer is who cares#my deeper answer is madeleine knows claudia over the span of several years & seems to think she’s met & befriended a 16ish year old & by the#time things start getting more overtly romantic madeleine thinks she’s like a grown adult. this is very clearly stated in the show.#my even deeper answer is that the eroticism surrounding claudia’s body is like Part Of The Plot the fact that she has a child’s body and an#adult’s mind & what that potentially means for her romantically & sexually is a defining part of her character & the entire point of#madeleine in the narrative is to give claudia someone who desires her as she is & doesn’t want to change her is it weird perhaps that she’s#clearly attracted to a teenager but isn’t pushing that boundary at all maybe! but she refers to the nazi she fucks as a ‘scared boy’ so i do#think that a) madeleine is already quite young herself and b) madeleine much like louis armand lestat daniel etc has this sort of dark & odd#moral code that essentially means she does not give a shit that her potential lover & life companion looks like a child she’s attracted to#claudia sexually regardless And That’s What Makes Her A Good Candidate For Vampirism!!!!!!!!!#my final answer is who the fuck cares omg these characters are out here dropping each other from the stratosphere & turning their murders#into public spectacles & lynchings these are all mass murderers and you’re mad madeleine wants to fuck claudia who she thinks is like 19??#be soooooo fucjing fr with me omg i’m tired of age gap discourse and i say this as someone who has partaken in it yall don’t even know what#makes age gaps like ~problematic in relationships i hate u guys#anyways in my mind they fucked crazy nasty literally two seconds after madeleine was changed & the only reason they didn’t do it before was#cuz claudia was worried about accidentally killing her otherwise trust they would have had some floaty sex in the back of that shop!!!!!

to be fair to cassie writing dru and jamie’s problematic age gap. every girl i knew in high school that was like dru blackthorn at some point had a 19 year old boyfriend. like in fairness she’s just being real and true to life i fear
#and i feel like cassie would know i feel like she also knew those girls or was one#me and her are kindred spirits in many ways…. if we’d been in school together we would definitely have been friends#i’m not even guessing at saying that we 100% would have been tight. i know this like i know the sun will rise in the morning and set at nigh#also it’s not even problematic dru’s not even gonna end up with him anyway who give a shit#(no one. btw. this isn’t a real issue we in tsc circles talk about) (or. we did back in the ye olden days of when the books were published)

I’ll say this now but I’ve been a Rachel d apologiSt for a minute now. And not in a radfem way I’m not trying to say the terves support this woman or whatever , for those lurking. But personally I feel for her and compare her to my own mother who in my eyes didn’t outwardly show much love or appreciation toward Black people in my life very much despite having me
#She’s problematic but ..?? Who isn’t?? anyways#She was destroyed and turned into a joke by the media. She’s unable to work in academia ever again#Does the crime fit the punishment? Maybe. Depends on who u ask#And I get it . It was bad. But…..#and she’s got a bit of mommyhorror going on with everything that happened#Not to mention her own mother .. whew#Sorry to all the radfems I offend w this I’m not sure why I’m going off about it but I do love to choose a Wrong Woman for my pfp#Azealia is next (she isn’t wrong)

⭐️Mima Rants⭐️
I remember coming across slideshow on tik tok this about a year ago, and even *I* (as someone who used to be grossed out by proshipping) thought was ridiculous…
This is the title of the slideshow.
Just a heads up guys, just like our favorite ships, None of these stories are real.
And if they were based on actual events, wouldn’t it make more sense to make a video about that instead of making up shit that never happened?
But, Let’s go through each of these as if they were real stories, shall we?
First one
“Caleb uses the internet to deal with his trauma”, Alright, I’m gonna stop you right there.
Isn’t “Staying off the internet is beneficial for your mental health” something we learned in, idk, fucking grade school? Cyber safety PSAs in middle school? Something that dozens of people have screeched from the top of their lungs since social media was invented?
Who the heck told him that being on the internet was going to help with his trauma and improve his mental health???
His feelings are valid, I get that. He has every right to be disturbed by Sage’s writings and fantasies. However, it seems that Sage isn't encouraging these actions in real life and keeps them strictly within fiction. As long as it’s in text or art, Sage has every right to express his fantasies.
Anyways, Caleb should seek a better therapist who can teach him better coping mechanisms like going out for walks, yoga, baking, or some other fourth thing instead of browsing social media where there’s a good chance he can run into something that makes him uncomfortable.
Next one…
“Jackie is 10-”
Yeah no no no no no no.. no… NO.
10-years-old. That’s, like, what? 4th grade? Shouldn’t Jackie be watching cartoons, playing with toys, or better yet, playing outside? Why did her parents give her internet access? Why aren’t they monitoring what their elementary schooled daughter is watching online?
If Charlie was going out of her way to promote this to minors then I would say she’s in the wrong, but this story never implies whether her content was specifically targeted to and/or letting minors come on to her account.
I've never seen proshippers create accounts specifically targeting children. If Charlie makes it clear her content isn't for kids, then it's not her fault if some random little girl she doesn’t know ends up consuming it.
If Jackie started to think this was normal, then it is her parent’s fault for neglecting her online safety and allowing her to access adult-targeted content at an age when media literacy is at an all time low.
The last one
“dEGenErates LiKE hiM 🤓” 💀💀
Once again, unless you can present to me a REAL LIFE incest/pedophilia case where proshipping was involved, this is not a valid argument that fiction affects reality.
Alas, we're treating these stories as if they were real. If Trey feels compelled to SA his sister after seeing writings or drawings of problematic ships, this suggests he’s likely an untreated mentally ill individual, especially since he can't differentiate fiction from reality.
What? If Trey played GTA V and started shooting and robbing a bank because he wanted to be like Trevor Phillips, should we consider banning violent video games?
As proshippers, we do not endorse real-life criminals and genuinely terrible people. The essence of proshipping is that all negative or degenerate actions should be confined to fiction. Understand?
End of discussion.
Anyway, as ridiculous as that slideshow was, please refrain from harassing or bothering the artist who made it. They have the same freedom of speech we do, and stooping to harassment and bullying wouldn't make us any better than antis who promote such behavior.
#pro ship#pro shipping#pro ship safe#proship interact#proship#proshipper#proshipper safe#proshippers are valid#proshippers please interact#rant#antis are stupid#antis are idiots#antis are weird#mima’s stuff#Mima.txt#Mili.txt

Aelin Galathynius Seen At Football Game As Fans Continue To Wait For Album Release
“You do know he won’t want you for more than a night, right?” Lysandra asked while Aelin looked for Rowan Whitethorn at the afterparty with hawk-like precision.
“I hope so, yes,” she replied.
Aedion’s groan was loud even with the club’s music and hooting.
It shouldn’t be this hard to find the team captain at a game afterparty, but looking for someone she didn’t know in person wasn’t the best thing to do at crowded, massive, and poorly-lit nightclub.
Rowan Whitethorn. All she knew were his piercing green eyes that made her memorize his face even through a picture, and that he was a player in and out of the field. His reputation preceded him. The only thing Aelin could judge him was for how hot he is, though the media diagnosed him as an ‘incorrigible womanizer’ while experts called him the greatest football player of this generation.
And most importantly, her ex-boyfriend’s favorite active athlete.
“Are you sure you want to keep up with this?” Aedion asked, glancing between her and the crowd. “You weren’t even that into Chaol.”
Aelin sipped her margarita and shrugged. “This isn’t about my feelings towards him, it’s about his disrespect towards me.”
She knew her cousin well enough to know that he wasn’t comfortable leaving Aelin alone, half-drunk and mini-skirted at a bar filled with strangers, and Aedion knew her well enough to know she was carrying on with her plan anyway.
Lysandra proceeded to blabber about cultural differences between hot dogs from every country she’s been in with Aelin for this last tour, and Aedion ate it up with rapt attention. Aelin, however, looked around in a way her friend saw right through, feigning boredom to search for the one person she was here for tonight.
She couldn’t see everyone’s faces, but she could easily see how the crowd’s pattern shifted like the Red Sea parting for someone with a presence as strong as a team captain’s. Aelin saw people move and heads turn before seeing the man himself, and that’s how she found her target.
It was so easy to spot the difference between the moment he saw her from the moment he noticed her—a millisecond was enough to spot the blooming glint in the eyes of an archer who’s just found his prey.
The look of womanizer who’s just found a maneater in sheep’s clothing.
One, two—a slow smile—three, four. One polite tug and his gaze was drawn away, but she kept eye contact for long enough to get his attention.
“It’s done,” she told Lysandra and Aedion by the high bar table. Their reactions were much different—one excited, the other reluctant—but they knew it was their cue to leave.
Rowan knew where to find her, now all she had to do was wait. Aelin wasn’t so desperate she’d chase a man.
Her ex, Chaol, was never at these events to avoid his father—the CFO of one of the companies that sponsored the White Hawks—but that didn’t mean he didn’t love the sport. He watched every single game with Dorian, and Rowan Whitethorn’s autograph had a special spot in his hallway, among other framed signed jerseys from his favorite athletes.
Yes, Aelin googled every single one from that wall. The list wasn’t too big, and after crossing off every one that was dead or too old for her, the problematic ones, and the married ones… let’s say there was barely a list after what was supposed to be an initial selection, and she almost gave up on the plan. Aelin might be looking for someone to sleep with to get back at Chaol, but that didn’t mean she’d sleep with anyone just for the sake of revenge. Ew.
She got lucky that Chaol’s favorite athlete in their age group looked this cute.
One day, she’s going steady with her three-month long situationship; the next, her publicist calls her in the middle of a family dinner to tell her Chaol was caught looking way too cozy with another girl. They’d never discussed exclusivity in their relationship, so something they could’ve figured out in a conversation turned into something bigger because he was stupid enough to be photographed.
And if Aelin’s humiliation was public, Chaol’s payback would be too.
A hand on Aelin’s shoulder caught her attention—it was meant to only call her attention, but now the man kept a steady grasp on her that slid down to her elbow.
A pair of dark brown eyes assessed her with curiosity. “Aelin Galathynius,” he said, eyes now trailing down to the long stretch of exposed skin of her legs.
Aelin yanked her elbow back and was about to ask who this creep was, but didn’t get to it.
“Cairn.” She heard the name in a deep voice, but didn’t see his mouth move. A hand reached his shoulder from behind, and another man—the man she was looking for—stepped into their circle. He was even more magnetic up close.
“What.” Cairn said to his captain, terse.
“Coach wants to talk to you.”
“Is it about that foul?”
“Gotta ask him, man.”
Cairn gave Aelin one last look, then sighed and left off—resigned yet pissed.
Rowan took his time, alcohol-free beer in hand while he maintained a steady presence by her side. In that moment, Aelin decided that photoshop and celebrity takes did him no favors.
From the line between his brows the magazines smoothed out to that look he gave his teammate—not a disappointed-yet-resigned one with the politeness publicists groomed into public personas, but the look of a man who knew what he wanted, and wasn’t above bypassing his teammate in order to get it. The person she saw online was a polished version of the little part of the man she met now, and Aelin just happened to like him best rougher around the edges.
“Did he?” she said.
“Did he what?”
“Did Gavriel want to talk to him?”
Rowan smirked. Took a slow sip of his drink. “The thing about Coach Gav—if one of his players is there to listen, he always has an advice to give.”
He might as well have said ‘no’. Though he didn’t have to—even if Aelin wasn’t focused on taking Whitethorn to bed tonight, that Cairn person’s vibes were all off, she wouldn’t have given him any attention either way.
“I’m Rowan.”
“I know.” She giggled. “If I’m crashing a game afterparty, I should at least know the captain’s name.”
Not exactly crashing, since every man in her family was usually invited to this kind of sports thing, but this definitely wasn’t her scene.
“I think there’s a 50/50 chance you’re someone I should know,” he said with an apologetic expression.
She never found this offensive. When a good portion of the world was bombarded with Aelin’s name whether they want it or not, finding someone oblivious to her existence was somewhat refreshing.
“I’m Aelin.”
“Aelin,” he trailed with a faraway look in his eye. “Aelin, Aelin, Aelin…” The turning engines inside his head were clear as day until it clicked. “Aelin! From that Yulemas special, right?”
Aelin burst out laughing. She had been lucky enough throughout her career that none of her work could ever be called a ‘flop’, but that Yulemas special was the closest thing she had to it. The show was good enough and so was the viewership, but let’s say she did not sign up for another one the next year.
“What’s so funny?” He asked with a confused, but mostly amused look.
“You’re the first person I meet that knows me because of that Yulemas special, that’s all.”
Rowan ducked his chin, and Aelin was sure that blush on his cheek was just the strobe lights tricking her eyes. “I don’t really keep up with social media, or celebrity stuff… or anything that isn’t work, actually. But my cousins put that show on every Yulemas dinner.”
Aelin grinned. “That’s sweet.”
He opened his mouth to speak, but stopped himself because the song shifted to something even louder, and the crowd erupted in cheers. When it subsided, he leaned closer and said, “Can I take you to a booth upstairs?”
Aelin reared back to read his face. “Just a booth?” she asked with one brow quirked up.
“Just a private booth.”
A slow smirk danced on her lips. “Lead the way, then.”
Rowan pointed to the general direction they were going and trailed behind her, but his hand found her back and stayed there when he noticed the sets of eyes following Aelin around the club—marking his territory.
However, they came to an abrupt stop when one of his teammates quite literally ran their way.
“Rowie!” Moonbeam shouts, trying to get Rowan’s attention. “D’you have spare pants?”
The man stared, motionless. “What?”
His teammate turned around and pointed at the ripped seam on his bottom that exposed his underwear. “Got an extra pair or not?”
“How in hell did you—“
“It’s the DJ’s fault!”
Partying too hard, then. Aelin didn’t know Fenrys Moonbeam personally, but he was known to keep it as classy as a wannabe D-lister at their first Grammy afterparty—except he was a world-class athlete.
The man’s eyes widened when he finally noticed Aelin, and he pointed at his butt again and said, “Can you sew this for me?”
“Dude.” Rowan cut him off, eyes hard as steel.
“What?”
“Seriously?”
“What did I do?”
“That’s fucking sexist, man.”
Fenrys gaped. He looked between her and Rowan, then flailed his arms in an empty gesture, fumbling to articulate himself. “I didn’t just see a chick and ask her to sew, she went to fashion school!”
Rowan blinked, then sent her a confused look.
“I did,” Aelin said between giggles. “Find me a thread and needle and I’ll fix it.”
Fenrys went off with his new quest, and Rowan took her upstairs. When Aelin asked him about his friend finding them again, he just grumbled something about ‘the boyo’ always finding him whether Rowan wants it or not.
The private booths were much more comfortable—with softer music and table service, the atmosphere was quite different from the dance floor’s madness.
“I really need to write a new single if the Yulemas show and fashion school is what I’m being referenced for these days,” Aelin said after they were settled.
Rowan oh-so-smoothly sneaked his arm around her. “That’s what you’re doing now? Writing?”
“Writing feels like a too-strong word for what I’m doing now,” she said with a slight grimace. “Let’s say I’m torturing my piano while my manager sends me contacts to write it all for me and get the album out in time.”
He frowned. “Can you do that? Hire other people to write it for you, I mean.”
Aelin laughed—she didn’t mean to, it just tore out of her. He was so oblivious to her line of work, it was endearing.
Rowan just picked another one of his alcohol-free beer, not seeming to be offended about her reaction. “That’s also public knowledge I’m clueless about, isn’t it?”
Aelin bit her lower lip and gave him an amused look that hopefully was answer enough. Then held both hands up and said, “Look, all I know about football is that the ball goes in the goal, and I look cute in your team’s colors. Nothing else.” She tapped the side of her head. “Nada.”
“That can’t be true.” His face was an inch closer to hers now.
“Maybe I need some teaching,” she whispered, eyes trailing from his eyes to his lips.
This. This is where he slips. This is how Aelin finds the first red flag before he lured her into his lips. Because red flags are the trail of breadcrumbs she leaves to not lose herself in a man, and she needed them more than anything now that she was enjoying herself too much for a revenge plan. Please, big hot guy, please mansplain to me your favorite sport.
Instead, he held her neck—the goosebumps down her body were due to the cold temperature, she was sure—and murmured back, “But I doubt you want to learn now.”
Oh, shit. Before her mind even registered it, she held his cheek and tugged his lips into hers, the soft feel of his pillowy—
“Rowie!” They heard Fenrys before he was in their sight, kiss broken—half-kiss, actually. The man sighed when he found their booth and plopped on the seat next to Aelin, sandwiching her between the two players.
“Turns out management keeps an emergency sewing kit,” he said, baffled. “Can you believe it?”
“I really can’t,” Rowan grumbled.
“Now if you excuse me… Aelin, could you…?” Fenrys trailed, pointing at the wall.
She complied and stared at the wall until granted permission to look back. When she did, Fenrys held his pants with one hand and a towel around his hips with another.
She grabbed the piece of clothing and did a quick work of it. Her days of fashion school were long gone, but muscle memory got her on it like time wasn’t even a thing.
Rowan still looked a bit grumpy about Fenrys’ intrusion, but she didn’t blame him. They kinda got cockblocked, but Whitethorn’s was kinda doing it for her.
“How did you even know she went fashion school?” he asked.
It was public knowledge about her, but the kind not even the casual fans knew. And if Rowan was asking, his teammate must not be a die-hard fan.
Fenrys smirked at Aelin. “I memorize a few random facts about you to impress the ladies.”
Aelin chuckled and playfully rolled her eyes. She knew this move existed, but no one that used it had been so bold to say it to her face.
She handed the pair of pants back to Fenrys, and kept her eyes closed while he put it back on and blabbered something about his brother mocking him forever after this.
“I think we all will, Boyo,” Rowan said. “Now get lost.”
“Thanks, Aelin!” he said with a salute on his way out. “I’m streaming your next album so hard—it’ll be another #1!”
Aelin groaned and sagged back on her seat, but only Rowan was there to see it.
“Are you really triggered by any mention of your next album?”
She shrugged. “Nah, just being dramatic.” Aelin put her hands on his shoulders, slowly so she’d feel his pecs on her way up. “But I’d feel better if you didn’t speak at all.”
His lips met hers for another kiss, and it tore into her bloodstream like discovering a new favorite melody, his mouth on hers as he tilted her head to taste her better. Aelin ran her fingers through the short strands of his hair while Rowan tugged her body closer, ran his fingers over the exposed skin of her legs.
A miniskirt wasn’t the most practical attire, but it did prevent her from being stupid sometimes—if it wasn’t for the looming threat of accidentally flashing the whole VIP section of the club, Aelin would be in Rowan’s lap by now.
Rowan grabbed the hair by her nape to allow him space on her neck, and Aelin just shut her eyes closed to let that man and his wicked mouth draw every shiver he wanted out of her. With his hands on her body and his lips on her neck, she let her guard down and allowed him something she rarely gave other men—consent to play her like his favorite instrument, walls as down as her panties if this was his way of taking control.
His trail of kisses went upwards, from her collarbone to her ear. “I was thinking—“
“You’re really hot and all, but I don’t sneak into club bathrooms.”
The low rumble of his throat as he chuckled was so sinful Aelin felt it between her thighs. “I don’t drink Dom Pérignon in plastic cups, baby.” Rowan whispered, his breath fanning her ear in a maddening way. “And I like to savor it—let the taste linger on my tongue.”
All her thoughts vanished. Aelin only had half a mind to ask, “You drive?”
She’d come with Aedion, wherever he is now.
“Sure,” he said. “Let me just…” Rowan grabbed a napkin to remove the lipstick that was supposed to be kiss-proof—it did a better job than most, but it still smudge his cupid’s bow and bottom lip.
“That’s Pat McGrath, babe. You’ll need it surgically removed.”
Rowan frowned. “Pat McAfee?”
Their exit was quite different from when they entered the VIP section. Rowan’s possessive-yet-polite grasp on her fully left the latter part, greedily taking hold of her on their way out. He also brushed aside two teammates that sought him, likely afraid of being interrupted by them like Moonbeam did.
The valet was already outside with his car when Rowan noticed the paparazzi outside. He looked at them and back at Aelin, brows furrowed in thought.
“I usually just go,” he said, sounding unsure. “What do you usually— what do you want me to do?”
“I’m a big girl. Let’s do this.” Aelin squared her shoulders and quickly fixed her hair.
The flashes were a dizzying contrast to the club’s dark ambience, but Rowan kept her steady with one hand protectively on her back, trying and failing to shield her from the onslaught of cameras.
He opened the passenger door for her and ran to the driver’s side, and soon the madness faded out, leaving just the two of them and the soft music on the radio.
As the mood settled and the city lights became blurs around them, it dawned on Aelin that she was about to be unwrapped, bended and spread out by a man who was too dreamy for his own good—the worst kind in the long run.
What was she doing? Aelin wasn’t even the one-night stand type—she wasn’t used to long relationships either, but that wasn’t the point. The “incriminating” pictures of her with Rowan were taken and out soon, and Chaol—whose existence she completely forgot about—would be pissed already.
Aelin steadied herself for what she was about to do, red flag on the floor for him to pick up and wave once she did it.
“I have a counteroffer.”
“Do tell.”
“You drop me off at my apartment on Goldryn St, and I’ll see you around.”
If Rowan was pissed or offended, he didn’t show. Instead, he quickly studied her expression, a bit confused, but once her face didn’t waver, he gave his car screen a pointed look and asked her to type her address in the GPS.
Aelin did vow that she would never settle for anything less than a green flag collector, she didn’t know why it was so unsettling to see one live.
Not that she would settle anytime soon, it was just something that crossed her mind.
Even if she was willing to have a fling with Rowan, she didn’t regret turning him down tonight. If a man wasn’t willing to chase a girl he fancied, what was he chasing in life?
The car pulled up at the building’s entrance, empty except for the doorman by the glass doors. No paps in sight.
Rowan’s jaw fell. “This is too peaceful, even for a spare home.”
“That’s actually my dad’s apartment, for when he has a late work night and doesn’t feel like making the drive home.”
No doubt Aelin’s own home would be absolute mayhem after tonight, that’s why her dad left his safe haven at her disposal.
“Your dad…?”
“He’s in politics.”
Rowan’s face contorted into a grimace, earning him a laugh from her.
“But we don’t wanna ruin our goodbyes by talking politics, do we?” she said.
“Absolutely not.”
Rowan jumped from his seat and circled his car to open the passenger door for her and gave her a hand to help her stand up. Except he didn’t let go. He kept her hand gently yet firmly clutched to his and brought it to his lips, giving her knuckles a chivalrous kiss while his eyes looked borderline devilish.
“I’ll see you around?” he asked, repeating her exact words from the ‘counteroffer’.
She grinned. “I’ll see you around.”
Aelin walked the few steps to the building, but stopped before the front door and turned to take a glimpse of him. Rowan stayed leaned against his car, arms crossed while he waited for her to walk in.
She wiggled her fingers at him over her shoulder with a sweet smile and watched his serene grin turn sly.
Aelin saw right through his chivalry, the dangerous promise hidden beneath looking near transparent to her eyes.

Yandere! Incel! Scaramouche x NB! Reader
This is an 18+ blog!!!! If you don’t like yandere content or are a minor, do not interact. thank you!
CW: Yandere content, stalking, creepy scaramouche, incel behavior, creepy behavior, toxic relationships, kidnapping, his friends encourage and enable his problematic behavior, brief fantasizing about a domestic husband/spouse dynamic, forced romantic relationship, non-consensual touching
*also just to be clear, this is loosely based off the term “incel,” his behavior is more like a creepy recluse if anything?? I just couldn’t think of a better word to use and I thought it fit okay. there’s no misogyny or extremely gross behavior involved, but he is creepy so just. keep that in mind. anyways, enjoy!
—————————
Incel! Scaramouche who doesn’t get out much not because he has bad social skills (he does but that’s not the point), but because he loathes the idea of big crowds and being around lots of people. Socializing with people is already irritating enough, since he’s the only one on this earth who seems to have braincells. Why go out when he’s got everything he needs at home?
Incel! Scaramouche who has more money than he knows what to do with from his (insanely) loaded and emotionally distant mother (who gives it to him because she doesn’t know how to show affection any other way). he spends it all on expensive gaming set ups, take-out, and new technology all while being up in his top floor penthouse with a horizon line view.
Incel! Scaramouche who has friends, they’re just all online (and just as fucked up as he is) who he talks to (yells at) through the microphone while gaming.
Incel! Scaramouche who meets you while doing something mudane. He sees you at a grocery store picking over vegetables one day. Ignores you. 30 minutes later, he proceeds to bump into you and then acts like an asshole about you touching him, something that was clearly his fault. The two of you get into it, and eventually you’re the one to turn and walk away, already in a bad mood from the interaction. He’s interested now.
Incel! Scaramouche who isn’t delusional enough to convince himself that it’s fate, but who is curious enough to stalk follow you around for a while. He’s not hurting you or talking to you, what’s the harm done?
Incel! Scaramouche who while stalking monitoring you begins to note things about you. Unconsciously, of course. It’s not like his life revolves around you or anything. He just…starts to notice things. How you spend your days, what you like, what you don’t like, who you interact with and the places that you spend your time at the most. Soon enough he knows just as much about you habits and daily life as your friends do, if not more.
Incel! Scaramouche whos friends encourage his problematic behavior. They’re just as chronically online as he is, and have no conception of the morals and boundaries that come with having a healthy relationship. (Some of them, like Venti and Kazuha, even have a more romantic view of his infatuation interest, repeating that it’s okay to cross some lines, as long as it’s for love)
Incel! Scaramouche who has a weird view of relationships because his only knowledge on them comes from anime, the internet, and all the other types of weird media he consumes. (Should the kidnapping happen before or after your first date?) He’s not doing any of the cheesy shit the internet says. He’s not going to bring flowers, that would be stupid. (He’ll end up buying an overly large bouquet which he sends to your doorstep. there’s no note and you find it extremely creepy. You refuse to leave your home without pepper spray now)
Incel! Scaramouche who eventually just plucks you from the streets, right outside of your home/apartment building. No struggle to go along with it. Obviously you do fight back, but the men he hired to pick you up are far too experienced for you to even have a chance of running away.
Incel! Scaramouche who doesn’t really care about your feelings surrounding the whole situation. and well. he was getting a little lonely. most of his friends live too far away for them to meet up frequently, and it’s not like he’d want to see those crazy bastards everyday anyways. You’re much better company compared to those psychos, as much as he loathes to admit it. and you’re just so…pretty, and he can feel and touch you as much as he wants. it’s pleasant, and his apartment has never felt so full before, not at all empty like it did before he brought you here. you should be grateful you’re here too; he gives you everything you could ever want (within reason). really, you should feel grateful that you’ve been chosen by someone who’s so financially stable, who can provide for you.
you can have a good life with him, better than you could’ve had without him.
Incel! Scaramouche who kind of begins to see you as his little house spouse. nevermind that you’re here against your will; you’ve taken up doing chores around the house if only to fill the time, and it’s really only confirming his belief that kidnapping you was the best thing he could’ve done. when he comes through the door after a rare visit to the outside world and he sees you sitting there, idle, practically waiting for him? he feels like the typical breadwinner coming home to a loving domestic life. he’s not so delusional to think that you’re happy to be his little house spouse and captive, but it’s not like you can do anything about it, so he might as well enjoy the thought while he can.

She can hear Connor beside her give a long exhalation of breath. She half expects him to stand up and walk away but instead he settles into his seat. Oh God, he wants to talk more. Now a part of her is wishing he had walked away.
“You said you met him at a concert,” he says.”Was that true?”
“Yeah, all that was true,” she says. “I saw him in the foyer afterwards and we started talking and then we went to a bar. That’s how it started.”
“He plied you with alcohol and seduced you,” says Connor. “For God’s sake. Saffron, we need to go to Mrs. Jevtic-“
“Oh my God, there is no way I am going to Jevtic! It wasn't like that at all!” says Saffron. “For a start, we only went to the bar because we couldn’t find a coffee shop that was open. And I only had one drink. What happened after that was one hundred percent mutual. I hate admitting this now but…I…I wanted it to happen.”
“He’s in a position of authority, Saffron,” says Connor. “Can’t you see how problematic that is? He’s basically a predator.”
“That’s not true,” says Saffron. “He’s a spineless, pathetic, cheating worm, but he’s not a predator.”
“I’m sure Jevtic and the School Board would see it differently,” says Connor.
“No,” says Saffron. “That isn’t happening, Connor. His life would be ruined. My life would be ruined-“
“Saffron, he needs to be brought to justice,” says Connor. “How many other students has he preyed on? Do you even know?”
“You aren’t listening to me! He’s not someone who does that. It wasn’t that type of situation!” says Saffron. She digs her nails into her lap, a warning to herself to try and contain her fear and anger. “Jesus, Connor. You know by now what type of a person I am. I’m not some dumb, docile, easily manipulated bimbo. I was always the one in control. Do you ever think I’d let someone do anything I didn’t want them to? No fucking way. Stop trying to make him out to be something he’s not. Anyway, I’m legally an adult, so there hasn’t even been a crime committed. Jevtic doesn’t need to know anything. Okay?”

(Short fic of Remus being a disaster😋 for @wolfstarmicrofic)
2nd: Rogue
Remus only dates so-called 'bad boys', because he isn't interested in falling in love, but also doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, and with those types, he doesn't have to worry about either. When he goes on a date with Sirius Black, however, Remus quickly realizes he's made a huge error of judgment.
Wasn't Looking For This
“You need help,” Mary states as she’s scrolling through Remus’ Tinder matches.
“Don’t you dare start swiping for me!” Remus warns.
Mary shakes her head. “No, I mean like professional help. Have you considered talking to someone?”
“Please.” Remus plucks his phone from her hands. “I don’t see any use in paying a ton of money to have some therapist psychoanalyse how my dating life is problematic.”
“I agree,” Lily says, sprawled out on the couch flipping through a magazine. “You don’t need to be a licensed therapist to psychoanalyse what’s wrong with your dating life. Instability during your childhood that lead to an insecure attachment style, causing you to develop a great fear of commitment, and resulting in you only dating men you know you’ll have no risk of falling in love with. Men I would describe as rogue bad boys. Overconfident, narcissistic, inconsiderate, too full of themselves to care about anybody else’s feelings. Men who definitely aren’t looking for an emotional connection, so you don’t have to worry about not only you getting feelings for them, but also them getting feelings for you.”
Remus glares at her. “Rude.”
Mary sighs. “So, is tonight’s guy a rogue, self-centred bad boy with too much confidence?”
“We actually haven’t spoken much,” Remus admits. “But he definitely has the right vibe. He was wearing a leather jacket in the bar, everyone was throwing themselves at him, but he hardly seemed to care, and he had this haughty air about him. Plus, the reason we didn’t talk much is because he had his tongue in my mouth five minutes after saying hello.” He grins. “So I’m hopeful.”
Lily rolls her eyes. “You’re an absolute disaster.”
Remus gets to his feet and presses a kiss to Lily’s cheek. “Love you too, Lils.” He turns to the girls before going out the door. “Don’t wait up,” he says with a wink.
Lily groans and Mary shakes her head. “You have issues.”
Remus made a huge mistake.
He realizes this immediately as he wakes up in a bed that is most definitely not his. He’s relieved that Sirius isn’t there, which gives him some time to think.
Yesterday, Sirius had taken him out for dinner at a nice restaurant. Afterwards, some drinks and a lovely stroll through the city at night-time and its beautiful city lights, ending at the front door of Sirius’ apartment.
Sirius had been charming and funny, and sure, that happens sometimes. With his habit of dating vain bad boys, Remus isn’t surprised anymore at how charming they can be when they want to. But then Sirius had also been kind and caring and actually interested in what Remus had to say, and that most definitely wasn’t what he signed up for!
Sirius had been a true gentleman, holding out Remus’ chair as they got to their table. He had smiled at Remus with a smile that was so much brighter than Remus remembered from the badly lit bar after a couple of drinks. As soon as they sat down, Sirius had said that his resting face was often interpreted as haughty, and how that ‘so not was who he was’, and that he was glad Remus wanted to give him a chance anyway.
Remus had wanted to scream.
In hindsight, he should’ve fled right there and then. But no, he had stayed. And of course Sirius had offered to share a dessert and then let Remus eat all of it, of course he had insisted that he’d pay for dinner, of course he had asked ‘is the okay?’ when he took Remus’ hand in his as they were walking side by side.
And if that hadn’t been bad enough, it turned out Sirius loves animals. He had shown Remus pictures of his dog, beaming with fondness as he told Remus about her.
The cherry on top of this miserable pie that Remus definitely didn’t order, was that Sirius is a doctor. A bloody doctor. He works in the ER and he loves his job, because ‘it’s just so rewarding’.
When he had gently pulled Remus close and kissed him under a streetlight, Remus’ stomach did this fluttering thing.
It was awful.
Remus gets out of bed and starts putting on his clothes. He’ll shower at home. Right now, he needs to get out of here. He should’ve left yesterday, he shouldn’t have stayed the night. Maybe he shouldn’t have gone home with Sirius in the first place, but he just can’t bring himself to regret that, because holy shite. He’s only human, after all.
He’ll do the awkward goodbye, where Sirius might mutter something about breakfast and maybe having some yoghurt left in the fridge, which Remus will politely decline. He’ll leave and forget all about this. Forget that guys exist who are actually interested in what he has to say, forget that guys exist who look at him like he’s actually worth something, forget that guys exist who can make him feel like he’s actually worth something. Forget that Sirius Black exists.
As he enters the living room, though, he stops in his tracks at the dreadful sight in front of him.
The table is set, and Sirius is in the kitchen, wearing only his boxers and a t-shirt, his hair haphazardly tied in a messy bun, baking what appear to be pancakes. Sirius turns around and smiles at him, and Remus is floored by how he can look even more gorgeous like this then he did yesterday in his dress shirt and suit jacket. His stomach does that weird fluttery thing again, and Remus hopes against his better judgment that it’s due to yesterday’s wine.
“You’re awake, good,” Sirius says. “Since you told me yesterday how you have quite the sweet tooth, I couldn’t let you go without trying Potters’ Perfect Pancakes! Recipe from my chosen mother Effie, and I’m not even overselling when I tell you that they’re the best thing you’ll ever taste. Come, sit!”
Remus’ brain is shouting at him. Run! Get out! Just leave! But Remus’ body moves to the chair, sits down and starts buttering a bloody pancake.
It’s like watching a car speed towards a wall, knowing it’s going to crash, but there being nothing he can do about it.
His feeling of impending doom are interrupted by his first bite of pancake. It’s fluffy, and chewy, and gooey, and smooth, and creamy, and everything in one. “Oh my god,” he says.
Sirius is leaning forward in his chair, looking at Remus with an eager smile, his face brimming with excitement, his eyes sparkling. Remus can’t help but think that he’ll do anything to see Sirius smile like that. “It’s good, innit? I wasn’t exaggerating?”
“Really good,” Remus confirms. “And you definitely weren’t.”
As Remus digs in, Sirius places a mug of tea in front of him. Remus takes a sip, and it’s exactly the way he likes it. A warmth spreads through his body, that has nothing to do with the tea itself.
Then a beautiful girl walks into the kitchen. She has shiny black curls and she’s happily wagging her tail as she barks at Sirius.
“There she is!” Sirius drops to his knees and starts scratching her ears. “You were a little sleepy head, weren’t you? Yes, you were. Yes, you were. Who’s a good girl?” Sirius coos, as his dog starts wagging her tail even more and tries to lick his face.
And that’s just it for Remus.
The car has crashed. There’s nothing for it anymore. He’s done for.
The car has crashed, and all Remus can do now is hope that he’ll make it through in one piece.
Well, at least he has a doctor with him.

Don’t know if anyone else has pointed this out, but 7 different women in Tolkien’s legendarium died of grief for the men they loved: Lúthien, Glóredhel, Rían, and Arwen explicitly, and Andreth, Nimrodel, and Théodwyn by implication.
Also, though she didn’t die, Melian abandoned Middle-earth when Doriath needed her most, out of grief for Thingol. And though it is not explicitly grief, Mithrellas abandoned her family as well.
Not sure if that’s romantic or sexist of good old Tolkien.
I’ve praised his well-written strong female characters, and I still do and always will … but I admit this particular aspect feels problematic.
Lúthien is an exception, of course, as she went to the Halls of Mandos with the intent of saving Beren, rather than actually giving up. (And she’s always a badass in everything she does, dead or alive.) Also Andreth was old anyway when Aegnor died, so her passing could’ve easily been the effects of old age worsened by grief.
But this isn’t the case for any of the other aforementioned women. They each give up on their entire lives because of the absence of one man. This wouldn’t feel so problematic if it also happened to male characters as a result of romantic love. But the only male character who died of grief is Brego, who was mourning his son, not a lover. Perhaps Daeron may have died from his pain over Lúthien, but this is never explicitly written.
Idk … does anyone else have thoughts about this?

Once in a while somebody will ask if there is a way to remove kudos on Ao3 on the subreddit and that normally leads to people putting their opinion across about whether we should be able to remove kudos from stories. Whether this is because they’ve accidentally pressed the button; they’ve found the author has some troubling views or they got to the end of the story and decided they didn’t like it.
Of course I am very anti this idea because Ao3 is not social media. It’s an archive for people to put their stories out for all to enjoy regardless of the content. A kudos is just a way of somebody saying ‘I’ve perceived this, and at that moment I liked it.’
But it’s deeper than that. It’s about how this function can be used to run authors out of a fandom. Either because they’ve upset a BNF and that person wants to get revenge, or because they’ve written something problematic a lot of the fandom don’t agree with. Essentially, it’s about brigading.
Whenever I put this view across. I’m told I’m being too sensitive. Or I’m overreacting. And all I can think is, well isn’t it nice you’ve never been attacked on social media and didn’t almost stop doing something you loved due to the actions of others?
From my perspective, I can easily see how a remove kudos function can be used to completely destroy the reputation of authors. And that is just because of my experience on Twitter.
Because my profile wasn’t just outed to 6000 people because I happened to say something a highly aggressive BNF believed was aimed at her. No, it went further than that. She actively told people to block and unfollow me. How do I know this? Because I still have friends in that fandom who told me.
People I respected and thought were decent didn’t allow me to put my story across and decided to do exactly that, block and unfollow me. Because her ‘receipts’ included something anonymously sent to her, and something I wrote on my account that was vaguely similar. I mean anybody who can’t work out I wouldn’t say something on my account and then attack a person anonymously isn’t worth my time anyway.
But I digress.
Imagine you had the ability to remove kudos from a story on Ao3, and that person knew I was a fanfic writer and knows my profile on Ao3? (Which they do because I used the same username). That co-ordinated attack could leak over onto Ao3. They could ask anybody that’s ever read my work to remove their kudos so that my stats go down and it looks like my stories are more unpopular than they really are.
Sometimes people filter by most kudos. They may decide that a story with 15k hits and 50 kudos because of a co-ordinated attack isn’t worth their time. Because ultimately that person doesn’t know why the author has so low kudos. It could be because the quality of their work is bad? Which means they may skip over it.
And yes, whilst we are told as authors to ‘write for ourselves’ we don’t upload to Ao3 for fun. We do it because we do like the engagement with others and we do want to share our stories. So imagine how demoralising it would be to see stats go down just because somebody decided they didn’t like you?
Basically if this ever happened to me I’d never write again and I would just remove all my stories. Which would be a loss to me, and those who do like my stories. Because they’d be left with no answers on my current WIPs.
And I can see many authors taking the same course of action if a ‘remove kudos’ button was ever added. Because it’s an easy way to trash the reputation of an author, and it’s naive of people to think it wouldn’t be used as a tool for attacking others.
Anyway, enough of that. Thanks for coming to my TED talk about Ao3 kudos and here’s Jensen and Misha as a reward for sitting through it.

saw your tua post about five i dont go here but i need to know did they pull an incest again. is that why everyones mad or did the ship just suck
ok so i’m assuming you’re talking about season 4!! i’ll leave this part very vague and spoiler free and if you don’t mind more specific spoilers (only about the ship, not about the actual end of the season) than check under the cut! :)
ok so not incest this time. the ship just reeeeeally sucks because it’s not only out of character but it ruined multiple arcs and relationships.
unhinged angry explanation of my least favorite part about season 4 below the cut!! (beware: yapping)
ok hi again! so five and lila get together. they fall for each other after they get stuck between timelines in this alternate dimension subway station thing, and they spend 7 years trying to find their way back home.
it turns out that lila was only doing it to survive because she needed something to hold onto while five, having been through this once before, had fallen head over heels for her.
he withholds information that can take them home for 6 months and lila is pissed and tells him it wasn’t real because she wants to get home to diego and her children, and five tells her that she knows she’s happier between timelines with him, blah blah blah it’s a whole thing.
five reluctantly goes back with lila and it’s really awkward and he’s pissed at diego (even though it was LITERALLY NEVER HIS FAULT) because lila is clearly still in love with him. they argue a little, lila gets between them, diego suspects something’s going on and asks, and then the truth unfolds and he’s (REASONABLY) heartbroken. it’s really sad to watch tbh
anyways then the end of the world starts to happen once again and i won’t go into specific spoilers for that because it would take WAY too long but basically five and diego are beating the shit out of each other and five literally outright says “i wanna fucking kill him” and lila tells him that it’s over between them and he goes and sulks because he was truly in love blah blah blah blah blah. anyways
it ends with five and diego hating each other. and it’s really fucking frustrating. and i really don’t mind what people ship for the most part, but this specific ship pissed me the fuck off because it should NOT have been canon. in my mind it still isn’t canon because this whole season sucked ass and i refuse to accept it as real.
you’re telling me five hargreeves, the man who survived for 45+ years with the single goal to save his family gave up on them after 7 years with the only other person around because he fell for her? why the hell was this necessary? why did the writers do this bro 😭 that is not the five i spent 3 seasons absolutely cherishing. i refuse to accept it
but also you’re telling me that the entire show ends with five hating diego and diego hating him?????? this entire season was SO out of character for the both of them but i STILL can’t get over (and will absolutely NEVER get over) that the writers really thought they could get away with the hargreeves despising each other like this. so pissed about this season omfg
so not only was the ship problematic for age differences on BOTH ends (fives body was 19 but lila’s was 36ish, probably older, while fives mind was 64 while she was AGAIN 36ish???? like how did they manage to make it pedophilic on both ends bro lmfao) (and do not even get me STARTED on the age differences of the actors and the fact that this has clearly been planned since aidan was a very young minor and the writers were waiting around for him to become 18 so it would be legal like fucking creeps) but it also involved cheating / homewrecking (with family no less) as well as multiple relationships ruined. i LOVED five and diego as a duo before. why the FUCK was this necessary *i scream from the rooftops*
anyways sorry for my chronic yapping, that is all.
i hate five x lila, have a good day.

It’s so frustrating to see him drinking more and looking increasingly depressed. I just hope he’s okay. This whole PR game seems to be taking a toll on him, and it’s like no one is really looking out for his well-being. //
I agreed with you up until this point (respectfully 🩷). I actually don’t think he’s drinking more. What I do think is that he’s under a LOT of stress and looks like he hasn’t had a good night’s sleep in a hot minute. I actually think that seeing what a drunk she is has put him off to alcohol.
That being said, I do agree with you when you say that no one seems to move looking out for his well-being. Especially not her. If you REALLY love someone, you don’t let them survive on pb&j sandwiches and no sleep. You just don’t. I understand being an actor is demanding and long hours are unavoidable. But there were healthier ways for that man to gain weight that didn’t involve him eating like that. And if she were REALLY his partner and he was REALLY more than a meal ticket to her, she would’ve made sure that his health wasn’t jeopardized. Because that’s what you do when you love someone. You look out for them. Period. She hasn’t looked out for him, ever. Ffs, she helped his psychotic fans doxx him. She’s nothing but a clout chasing egomaniac.
Thank you for this!
The alcohol thing is mainly just a rumor I’ve heard, not 100% but during after parties I KNOW she gets drunk (seen by photos, it’s just the way she looks that proves she’s tipsy/wasted). I don’t want that to rub off on him in the near future since he did call his Marvel fans a trip/“crazy”, which is all her doing. She’s morphing his fans into some sort of a crazy lunatic gang, I’ve never seen anything like it!! (I’ll post a photo of what someone said in this reply) it’s truly disgusting, disturbing, and creepy. If his exes did any of these things she’s done, it would’ve been an immediate cancel. My ultimate theory of why they just ADORE her is:
1. They’re uneducated and refuse to look into any form of information/proof of her being a bad person (in anyway/shape/or form)
2. They’re bots. Some of the comments under her account seems very fake!! If you look into their profiles most of the time… they don’t post anything and their comments sound very unreal?
3. They’re hired. I seen some fan pages of his go ALL out on supporting her!! Take it for example: Soorwellystan/Wintersbucky. They act like the same person, edit the same, talk the same, what not. Plus they adore Annabelle, they’ll ignore all the exposure of her wrong doings, comment on every post, upload when she gets a new gig, etc. Even Soorwellystan uploaded on her story one time: “Stop making up rumors, stop hating. I’m not hired for their PR relationship. It’s not PR, he’s just in a relationship. I don’t get why you guys even care, you don’t even know him.” What a good “fan” she is to be switching fandoms back-and-forth (then again that’s his whole fandom now).
And she only gets over 10k+ likes on a post when it has any way to include Seb in it, like those Italy pictures she uploaded, Cannes, on her stories (related to Seb).
And what she is doing isn’t right. I have NO idea on why they support this problematic woman, who is literally tearing him up into shreds. There’s loads of proof they could look into all over the media , yet they decline. So I will be uploading this stuff for it to be proven!
I do like to upload this type of stuff because it truly helps people understand (if they’re willing to hear evidence/listed facts). So thank you for sharing!! You made very good points that I HOPE people will understand, if they don’t, they’re a lost cause.
And the photo of her crazy fan:

i also wouldn't be so hasty to judge everyone taylor spends time with by their political beliefs considering to most swifties karlie is one of the "trumpies" taylor has hung around lmao
i assume youre speaking with regards to some general sentiment that has been floating around
not that i have some definitive judgment on what is and isn’t okay, but i understand and think it’s fine for people to not like her hanging out with brittany. that’s not such a big deal, people have reactions to stuff like this in passing every day in the world.
its the sense of expectation that i see from the way people talk about it that makes me worry, if anything.
for me it’s moreso a philosophy of life that i’ve decided for myself, where i believe it’s not worth putting the energy into getting fired up over certain things that i really can’t change. in this case the certain thing is “who taylor shows herself socializing with” — i would rather put any extra energy i have at the end of the day into other things that improve my everyday. of course, people have every right to feel uncomfortable and speak on it. it’s not my place to say people should not feel certain ways. but i do think it’s worthwhile to point out when i think it might be an energy sink, though. based on observation. point out opportunities for people to minimize the hit point damage they might take.
for i do worry sometimes people assume that they will be able to influence taylor’s actions. and when it doesn’t happen they get frustrated. and it’s just a recipe for disaster in terms of maintaining one’s peace as a taylor fan.
i’ve been here just since 2018 and in that limited time i have seen time and again how taylor responds to (or doesn’t respond to) stuff like this, and all the people she’s gone on to be around, and i’ve just decided it’s not worth the effort for me to get into each and every thing that doesn’t sit well with me. because by and large it’s just gonna happen anyway, and again.
“problematic fave” used to be a phrase that was thrown around a lot and i do think it’s useful in a way, people all around the world use this kind of phrase and its logic to engage with shades of grey so as to avoid falling into a crisis of conscience each day. i think a lot of people engage in fandom for people that aren’t passing a purity test but just say oh yeah they’re my problematic fave, and then move on about their day. it probably shouldn’t be wholly one approach or the other but, some amount of balance might be good in ones life, i think.
#i think that with taylor it’s a little bit like The Wind And The Sun parable#with anyone on earth really

Will Chris’ “psychotic” fans be held responsible for the end of the shitshow?
Recently an article regarding Abba’s near ”abduction” story resurfaced, or I should say was reposted. It seemed pretty random of course. But was it? Because you see, this story hints at an original trauma that she might have suffered as a kid. If you combine this (real or fictitious) traumatic experience with the narrative that Chris’ fans are psychos who really can’t stand to see him in a relationship, well then you have created the perfect storm for their separation. Will that excuse be used to explain their divorce which couldn’t come soon enough by the way?
So many breadcrumbs pointing to Abba being scared…
The narrative that Chris’ fans are crazy and don’t want to see him with anyone has been going on for years. His brother Scott alluded to it not so long ago during an interview. Yvette Nicole Brown tweeted about it as well, in a very over-the-top and unhinged way just after Chris and Abba made it official with their first papwalk. So there have been many crumbs pointing to his fans’ problematic behavior being the cause for concerns. And indeed, there have already been several articles pointing to Abba being scared for her safety. Here are a couple of examples.
https://www.thenews.com.pk/amp/1119789-chris-evans-jealous-fans-pose-safety-concerns-for-his-wife-alba-baptista
Recently, that excuse has been used to explain why Abba couldn’t attend an event for Warrior Nun.
We all know of her extraordinary professionalism. She has promoted the show so much so that we can only imagine how terrified and heartbroken she must have felt to turn down this event. (read sarcasm) And it probably explains why she refused to talk to the media at the GQ event. You see she was not being rude and a diva, she was just being shy and afraid…
Also remember during Chris and Abba’s last papwalk when they allegedly had dinner with Rob Pattinson, Suki, Adrien Brody and Harvey Weinstein’s former wife, they were escorted by Guillermo who is Chris’ bodyguard. Sure it was meant to sell that they are a very famous and popular couple but maybe it served another purpose. Maybe it was meant to sell the narrative that she is terrified of Chris’ fans and needs the protection of a bodyguard. So the question remains: will they be blamed for their divorce?
The ending of this shitshow isn’t likely to happen soon…
Crumbs and hints are in place but that doesn’t mean the end of the shitshow is near. In fact, I would be very surprised if he doesn’t mention his “wife” during his next con at Seattle on March 2nd. Indeed this con is overseen by the same company that did C2E2 and NYCC last year, and let’s remember the NY con was used to confirm the 2 kinda of ceremonies and to show off his ill-fitting ring. We can suspect this company is one of their sponsors, just like the jewelry brand or airline company. But I am just speculating.
It’s safe to assume there will be similar shenanigans in Seattle anyway. Will she actually be there? It’s a real possibility. Especially, since the Oscars’ ceremony is on March 10th. Like for the Golden Globes, it’s a time when celebrities try to be seen. And it will be one of their last occasions to make a splash for a while and have their names in every publication since Chris is supposed to start shooting a new movie in March as well. Unless we get pap pics of them on his movie set. They haven’t done it yet and it would be another box to check off in their PR games.
The manufactured psychotic fans…
For sure there are some crazy fans out there. But I have little doubt as well that most of his crazy fans act this way on purpose because there are plants on the payroll. Even recently, we have seen a ridiculous fake drama around Dodger. An account even published an old picture of Dodger at Daycare. So this mod either hacked into the security cameras of the dog daycare center 6 years ago. Or by some off chance, a crazy stalker fan who worked at that center leaked that pic and sent it to that mod? I should probably specify that this account also got the exclusive (and very believable) story that Renner and Hemsworth told two strangers that they were in Boston for Chris’ wedding. Obviously the most logical explanation is that this blog was fed real info (and that pic) by his team or is working directly for his team. But officially they will pass as crazy fans who crossed the line… And this narrative has proved quite useful in the past.
Playing the victim card is unlikely to get them any sympathy…
I personally think that this strategy won’t benefit either of them.
Particularly Abba. First of all, people are unlikely to believe she needs protection because nobody knows her in the first place. We all remember that ridiculous cringe moment at the Ghosted premiere where a paid actor pretended to be her fan and screamed her name. Also and I don’t mean any disrespect but she is not only unknown to the public but she is also totally unremarkable. She is so unremarkable in fact that when that influencer got the video of them at Walt Disney (the video where you can hear the influencer say at the end: “got it”) she had a pic of Abba’s back tattoo on her screen to make sure she recognized her.
As for Chris, blaming his fans for the end of this shitshow is unlikely to gain him any sympathy either. We have seen so many fan pages disappear, so many fans leave. He has alienated so many loyal fans and a part of the general public with this relationship that isn’t on brand for him. It wouldn’t be wise to alienate the fans that have stuck around.
Also playing the victim card is just not as popular as it once was. First of all, most normal people have troubles feeling sorry for out of touch celebrities. And why should they? They live in the real world and have real problems. Like having to hold on to their low-paying job, to take care of their kids or to put food on the table. Look at Harry and Meghan. Most people can’t stand them anymore. So Chris’ team would be wise to look for another exit strategy. They have time…
