my contribution to the thing day! i've spent a lot of time seriously imagining it and managed to draw this up, only to discover i'd lost my lineart pen :/ so this is remaining as a sketch! it's not perfect, despite messing around with it i'm still not quite happy with the current dnp drawings and i cut off the writing (it's supposed to be lyrics from still into you by paramore) but i hope you all like it :)

Updates On Community Name Vote

So it's been a few months. I am feeling better, thank y'all for bearing with me. I figured it was probably about time we have a conversation on the blog about the fact that I said "Hey the name's pending" and have not done an update on the discussion for that. So, here's the discussion for that.

Right now, I'm hoping to get this blog to at least 100 followers before we run a poll. I know with tags and reblogs, that blog follower count does not totally equate reach, but it we want to build a community tag and archive for the LoZ fandom, I do want the discussion for that to reach more of the community before something is decided on. There will definitely be people left out of any vote I run, but 100 followers seems like a good base to hopefully get some traction on any polls run. We're currently at 44 followers, I will update this as we get closer.

The second part is to point out that there are two votes being held: the community name (what is currently Expanding Hyrule) and the tag used to organize this niche of fic (currently Original Legends). Both will get their own poll, and I am collecting names for both. The hope in the difference is for this archive to be a hub then while any tag usage build momentum. Whether or not people adopt the tag, works will be here and tagged.

And that's generally it. I will continue to expanding the archive and doing my best to find more works across mediums. And this is your reminder that works don't have to be only on currently focused platforms, like AO3 and Tumblr. Wherever you upload, I can include links as long as it's a reputable site. So please let me know if you have any recommendations of works not already included in the lists or if you would like your work included in the archive, I probably just haven't found it yet if you think it applies to this niche.

He digs a hand into Simon's jacket collar to pull him closer, happy to drown himself in the scent of leather and spice he's been missing for so long. Thick arms slide around his waist and wide hands slip under his jumper, rough calluses and blunt fingernails dragging up his back.

The neediness in those questing fingers sends another shudder through his body, a hot rush of desire clouding his thoughts even more. Waves of longing overtake all rational thought, leaving only a growing need for more. For everything Simon will give him. 

He wants.

He needs.

He slides his other hand up into Simon's hair and tugs.

okay but a thing i think about every time we have one of those few day periods where the weather is not fit for even a dog being outside is how the hell are homeless people surviving this. like i said in a previous post it's currently -40 degrees with the windchill and i honestly cannot imagine how someone who does not have a place to go inside and spend the night is supposed to not freeze to death. it makes me upset every time the temperature drops like this, i cannot imagine how many homeless people will be frozen to death in the next 24 hours if they somehow haven't already. the fact that there are hundreds of empty houses sitting there empty with totally functional heating while people are DYING from the cold on a street corner makes me SO FUCKING ANGRY while at the same time my heart is breaking in pieces for them. rest in peace to every poor person who will not make it through the weekend. i am so sorry.
