Ironically this week is asexual awareness week. Why ironic? Well, today I experienced feeling alienated in a room full of trans people because of my lack of libido. I’ve heard so many stories about how testosterone makes your sex drive skyrocket (and e having the opposite effect) so the fact I’ve had no changes after 11 months of HRT has just solidified that I probably am ace. Because of this, it’s very hard to be in a room where all people talk about is how horny they were or became due to t.

coming back to a poem I wrote about hypersexuality.

Funny how the same thing is happening again I just want to be free with the people I talk to, but I alway cross boundaries. and sometimes I don't know if it's worth it to make friends. I cant even be myself without people feeling uncomfortable around me. I just want people to be happy around me. For them not to be scared when I pull up to the gc. I want people to feel safe around me. but if I cant even give that. then what kind of friend am I? what kind of person am I??

what hurts is that I haven't found one person that can say "its alright. you can be yourself around me" with me being hyper sexual included. and I understand how some people cant, but that means I will just have to suck up the shit that I went through and the things I have to say and just fw it. I cant always keep that façade up. because im being so serious when I say this; its getting dangerous for my emotional/mental health.

I cant even go a day without talking about sex. and if I bottle it up it's just gonna do damage to me just like it did in April/May. I dont want that to happen, but I dont want to lose the people I care about. online is my only safe space that I can fully be myself, but now its feeling like real life.

Does anyone else like crave sex all the time? I crave it no matter what emotion I’m feeling. Sad, angry, upset, happy; I feel guilty bc my partner doesn’t want it all the time and I take that as rejection & that I’m not attractive to them :/

(I know this is false but my brain doesn’t know how to take it any other way, and it’s valid for my partner to not want it as often as I do)

I see many people claim to be hypersexual and constantly say it as if it’s a funny, quirky side of them. Being hypersexual is a nightmare and I can’t stress that enough, it’s not someone just being horny all the time it far more than that. People need to research these things rather than instantly going along with it.
