If you live outside of Europe, is it worth starting an online business in Europe
Starting an online business in Europe can be a worthwhile venture, even if you live outside of Europe. There are several factors to consider when determining the feasibility and potential benefits of such a business. Here are some points to consider:
Market Size: Europe has a significant consumer market with over 500 million people. This presents a substantial customer base for various products and services. Depending on your business model and target audience, tapping into the European market can offer lucrative opportunities.
Economic Stability: Europe generally has a stable and well-developed economy, with many countries experiencing strong purchasing power. This stability can provide a favorable environment for business growth and sustainability.
E-commerce Growth: The e-commerce industry in Europe has been rapidly expanding in recent years, driven by increasing internet penetration and online shopping habits. This trend offers significant potential for online businesses, regardless of their physical location.
Cross-border Opportunities: The European Union (EU) allows for the free movement of goods and services among its member states. This creates a seamless market and reduces barriers to entry for businesses. By establishing your online business in Europe, you can leverage this open market and potentially expand your reach to multiple countries.
Regulatory Environment: It's essential to familiarize yourself with the regulatory requirements and legal considerations of doing business in Europe. Compliance with consumer protection laws, data privacy regulations (such as GDPR), and tax obligations may vary between countries. However, with careful planning and proper legal advice, these challenges can be managed effectively.
Competitive Landscape: As with any business venture, competition exists in Europe's online market. Conduct thorough market research to assess the level of competition, identify unique selling propositions, and refine your business strategy accordingly.
Cultural Diversity: Europe consists of numerous countries with diverse cultures, languages, and consumer preferences. Tailoring your products, services, and marketing efforts to specific European regions can enhance your business's chances of success.
Operational Considerations: While physical proximity is not a prerequisite for running an online business in Europe, there may be logistical factors to consider. These include time zone differences, customer support, shipping and logistics, and communication with suppliers and partners.
In summary, starting an online business in Europe can be a viable and lucrative opportunity, even if you reside outside the continent. Assessing market potential, understanding the regulatory environment, and adapting your business to local needs will contribute to your success. Conduct thorough research and consider consulting with experts to make informed decisions based on your specific business goals and circumstances.

I decided to redraw one of my earliest Tintin fancomics! I've been drawing Tintin fanart for a bit before I started posting online.
I can imagine Tintin having a tumultuous relationship with his editor, hardly ever being in the office and having a very low rate of writing articles. Tintin's increasingly liberal politics also clash with the newspaper's conservative values. Tintin and his editor frequently argue over this but Tintin almost always wins out, as he is aware that it is his articles that sell the paper. His editor is reluctant to let go of his golden goose.
More headcanon under the Read More! It's background stuff and things about his editor.
Tintin started his journalism career at just 14, and seeing the dangerous situations he is sent into in his early stories suggests to me that whoever hired him didn't have his best interests at heart. I can imagine his editor taking advantage of Tintin's ambition and naivety, while styling himself as a sort of father figure to the newspaper he runs. I based him off of the editor we see at the very start of Tintin in the Land of the Soviets!
His editor hires him after Tintin demonstrates remarkable skills in investigative journalism, uncovering local corruption for his school paper. He takes advantage of Tintin's naivety, sending him off to various countries to write conservative propaganda pieces for the paper. He hopes Tintin will be easy to groom into a conservative pundit, but after witnessing atrocities and coming into contact with people from different walks of life, Tintin finds himself unlearning a lot of harmful beliefs he was raised with. After he earns global recognition in Tintin in America, Tintin leverages his star power to ensure less editorial interference with his work. His journey away from conservatism is kickstarted upon befriending Chang, who directly challenges a lot of his preconceptions.
Tintin stays with the paper under the misguided belief that he can steer the publication in a better direction with his influence. Deep down he also feels he owes his editor, as it was him who gave Tintin a platform and an oppurtunity to escape his situation, being raised in an orphanage and being deeply unhappy in school. His editor also frequently points out that other papers will not be as lenient with his low turnover rate of articles, and that he's lucky he's still with them.
After Tintin gets Chang a job there as his photographer, Chang ends up befriending a lot of the staff. He's one of the few non white staff members there, which causes quite the stir. While Chang is grateful for the job, he becomes increasingly uncomfortable with working for them the more he learns about the paper. He tells Tintin that by staying there, he's only legitimising the publication.
Tensions at the paper start rising as political tension rises in Europe. Tintin, Chang, and a lot of staff notice their editor acting erratically and making strange demands...
#tintin#adventures of tintin#fanart#comic#i am also basing his editor off of the editor herge worked under#he was an incredibly shady guy and a fascist#i really wish we got to see more of tintin's work life lol#my stories

101 Aromantic Books Rec List
For this list the goal is fiction books with a main character or significant secondary character that is on the Aromantic spectrum, or non-fiction books about being Aro-spec. Some books will overlap with my Asexual Book rec list.
Junior Novel
1. Hazel's Theory of Evolution by Lisa Jen Bigelow Hazel knows a lot about the world. But even Hazel doesn't have answers for the questions awaiting her as she enters eighth grade. What if no one at her new school gets her, and she doesn't make any friends? What's going to happen to one of her moms, who's pregnant again after having two miscarriages? Why does everything have to change when life was already perfectly fine? Hazel is asexual and aromantic (it isn't said in the book, but it is specified in the author's note at the back of the book).
2. Every Bird A Prince by Jen Reese After she saves the life of a bird prince and becomes their champion, seventh grader Eren Evers must defend a forest kingdom, save her mom, and keep the friendships she holds dear--if she is brave enough to embrace her inner truths. Eren is aromantic.
3. The Dragon of Ynys by Minerva Cerridwen Every time something goes missing from the village, Sir Violet, the local knight, makes his way to the dragon's cave and negotiates the item's return. It's annoying, but at least the dragon is polite. But when the dragon hoards a person, that's a step too far. Sir Violet storms off to the mountainside to escort the baker home, only to find a more complex mysteryâa quest that leads him far beyond the cave. Accompanied by the missing baker's wife and the dragon himself, the dutiful village knight embarks on his greatest adventure yet. AroAce main character.
YA Fiction
4. Archivist Wasp by Nicole Kornher-Stace A postapocalyptic ghosthunter escapes her dire fate by joining the ghost of a supersoldier on his quest to the underworld Aromantic asexual main character. Dark fantasy/dystopian.
5. Latchkey by Nicole Kornher-Stace Isabel, once known as Wasp, has become leader of the fearsome upstarts, the teen girl acolytes who are adjusting to a new way of life after the overthrow of the sadistic Catchkeep-priest. They live in an uneasy alliance with the town of Sweetwaterâan alliance that will be tested to its limits by the dual threats of ruthless raiders from the Waste and a deadly force from the Before-time that awaits in long-hidden tunnels. Archivist Wasp Sequel. Aro/Ace protag.
6. Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson When her convent is attacked by possessed soldiers, Artemisia defends the Gray Sisters by awakening the revenant bound to a saint's relic, even though she runs the risk of being possessed permanently by the powerful ancient spirit. Non-explicit romantic asexual main character. Fantasy.
7. Not Even Bones by Rebecca Shaeffer Nita's mother hunts monsters and, after Nita dissects and packages them, sells them online, but when Nita follows her conscience to help a live monster escape, she is sold on the black market in his place. Aro/Ace main character
8. When Villains Rise by Rebecca Shaeffer With her best friend, Kovit's, life in danger, Nita is determined to take down the black market once and for all. Latina asexual and aromantic main character.
9. The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee Henry "Monty" Montague was bred to be a gentleman. His passions for gambling halls, late nights spent with a bottle of spirits, or waking up in the arms of women or men, have earned the disapproval of his father. His quest for pleasures and vices have led to one last hedonistic hurrah as Monty, his best friend and crush Percy, and Monty's sister Felicity begin a Grand Tour of Europe. When a reckless decision turns their trip abroad into a harrowing manhunt, it calls into question everything Monty knows, including his relationship with the boy he adores. Aro/ace secondary character (prequel to a Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy).
10. The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee A year after an accidentally whirlwind grand tour with her brother Monty, Felicity Montague has returned to England with two goals in mindâavoid the marriage proposal of a lovestruck suitor from Edinburgh and enroll in medical school. A highly loved book in regards to asexual portrayal, Felicityâs journey does a fantastic job of exploring the struggle of navigating a world where marriage is expected of women in order to function in society. Even more refreshing is Felicity isnât just avoiding getting married out of a sole rebellion against the patriarchy (though those themes are also present), but simply because she doesnât have an interest in sexual or romantic relationships at all.
11. Before I Let Go by Marieke Nijkamp When Corey moves away from Lost Creek, Alaska, she makes her friend Kyra promise to stay strong during the long, dark winter, and wait for her return. Just days before Corey is to return home to visit, Kyra dies. The entire Lost community speaks in hushed tones, saying her death was meant to be. And they push Corey away like she's a stranger. With every hour, Corey's suspicion grows. Lost is keeping secrets-- but piecing together the truth about what happened to her best friend may prove as difficult as lighting the sky in an Alaskan winter. Aro/Ace main character.
12. Seven Ways We Lie by Riley Redgate Seven students. Seven (deadly) sins. One secret. There is a character who sounds asexual and aromantic and autistic but none of these are ever explicitly named. He seems like a stereotype at first but has his own storyline that's both important plot wise and gives him his own character arc.
13. Not Your Villain by C. B. Lee Bells Broussard thought he had it made when his superpowers manifested early. Being a shapeshifter is awesome. He can change his hair whenever he wants, and if putting on a binder for the day is too much, he's got it covered. But that was before he became the country's most-wanted villain. After discovering a massive cover-up by the Heroes' League of Heroes, Bells and his friends Jess, Emma, and Abby set off on a secret mission to find the Resistance. Aromantic Black secondary character.
14. Not Your Backup by C. B. Lee Part 3 in the Sidekick Squad series by C.B. Lee. Follows a questioning aromantic asexual latinx superhero sidekick fighting to prove her worth on the team despite her lack of superpowers, all admist the team's battle against the corrupt League of Heroes.
15. Fire Becomes Her by Rosiee Thor With only a drop, one can light the night sky with fireworks . . . or burn a building to the ground. The few flare families on top â the so-called âeliteâ â hoard the magical resource for themselves, and seventeen-year-old Ingrid Ellis wants her fair share. Main character is demiromantic.
16. Summer Bird Blue by Akemi Dawn Bowman Rumi Seto spends a lot of time worrying she doesnât have the answers to everything. What to eat, where to go, whom to love. But there is one thing she is absolutely sure ofâshe wants to spend the rest of her life writing music with her younger sister, Lea. Then Lea dies in a car accident, and her mother sends her away to live with her aunt in Hawaii while she deals with her own grief. While not the main focal point of the book, Rumi does grapple throughout the story about where exactly she lands on the ace and aro spectrumâand whether she has to label herself at all.
17. If It Makes You Happy by Claire Kann Winnie is living her best fat girl life and is on her way to the best place on earth. No, not Disneylandâher Grannyâs diner, Goldeenâs, in the small town of Misty Haven. While there, she works in her fabulous 50âs inspired uniform, twirling around the diner floor and earning an obscene amount of tips. With her family and ungirlfriend at her side, she has everything she needs for one last perfect summer before starting college in the fall. âŚuntil she becomes Misty Havenâs Summer Queen in a highly anticipated matchmaking tradition that she wants absolutely nothing to do with. Aro/ace secondary character.
18. The Trouble With Robots by Michelle Mohrweis Evelyn strives for excellence. Allie couldn't care less. Together, these polar opposites must work together if they have any hope of saving their school's robotics program. Allie is asexual and/or aromantic.

Saffronâs fate is intertwined with that of many women, and the whole world hangs in the balance. Gwen Vere â allosexual (queer) and aromantic. (source)
22. Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger What if America had monsters, magic, and interdimensional beings? For Elatsoe, this is real, and she has to uncover her cousin's murder! She can do this with the help of her ghost dog, Kirby, but has to remember not to wake human ghosts. Aromantic ace main character. Paranormal mystery. Casual representation which extends to Ellieâs identity as Lipan Apache. This identity is asserted more often and firmly than her asexuality, and Little Badger drops in nuggets of education for us settlers about what Indigenous people, and the Lipan Apache in particular, suffered at the hands of settlers.

Person with celiacs (severe gluten intolerance) here! I really recommend the gluten free products by Schär, who sell some pretty good bread, cookies and pasta, amongst other things. They also offer gluten free flour (in different variants, like specifically for cake, specifically for bread, etc.), though I do want to warn you that baking gluten free doesn't work that well by only substituting the flour, as gluten free flour doesn't make dough rise as well, so I recommend adding psyllium, which also has its own benefits for your digestive system.
I'm from Europe, so I don't know how difficult it is to find Schär products in stores in the US, but they do have an online shop, and the products are very much worth the extra cost for shipping and the "gluten free tax".
Side note - trying out dinkel flour/bread/etc. might also be worth a try. It isn't gluten free, but the gluten it does contain is a bit different, so that a lot of people with gluten intolerances (including my mother) can handle it better than regular wheat.
When I first met my beloved they were having to eat gluten free for some gut health reasons hence their willing reluctance to do it again. Theyâve got some experience with baking but in general Iâd rather cut something than sub in too much gluten free stuff. It just hits different.
If it turns out I feel incredible after cutting gluten and we need to keep it up Iâm hoping we can continue to bake as normal with the French flour but I guess weâll see how it goes.
#ask ffs#Iâll keep this on the back burner in case I need to look into the brands later#god food sucks in the USâŚ#every time Iâve been out of country the food is magnitudes better than here

Hello
My old introduction message was not very good so Iâm gonna do a new one.
But first off, don't send me donation asks. I do not have enough money or a big enough following to where it will help you, and the only thing itâs gonna accomplish is making people feel bad without actually doing anything. If you send one, it will be deleted. You can however send an ask to @maybeiexistprobably and I will answer there
Hello. My name is TheAroaceGarlicBreadLover, I am an INFP aroace, and this is my blog where I will primarily talk about aspec stuff, but possibly other things as well rarely. And even though this blog is primarily intended to be for aspec people, basically anyone is accepted here as long as you donât discriminate against others. However, I mostly direct all my posts at aspec people (Such as most of my polls being directed at aspec people specifically and having one option for non-aspec people in general), so you may feel a bit left out if youâre not.
https://en.pronouns.page/@GarlicBreadAAAAA
I am an introvert, and not very good at being social and talking to people, so i may be a bit awkward to talk to and Iâm not very self confident so I often change my mind instantly after posting something and delete it right after so if you see me having posted something and then itâs gone, thatâs probably why, and if itâs not deleted then I have most likely edited the post several times (Such as this entire part being something I put in after posting this)
This I tend to write very long messages very often to make sure I convey everything I wanna convey, so sorry about that.
My interests outside of mentioning that Iâm aroace every 5 seconds are mostly writing stories, Playing Minecraft (Mostly being in fan-made life series if you know what that is, but itâs pretty niche so I doubt anyone will), and anything related to Undertale/Deltarune (I love UT/DR so much, I am absolutely obsessed with it), including AUs and such, and Iâm also interested in just playing other video games as well, but Minecraft, Undertale, and Deltarune are my favorite ones.
I am openly Aroace both irl and online, so basically everyone who knows me pretty well also knows that Iâm aroace at this point, although no one except my close friends and such in my school knows, as some people there are a bit queerphobic. I live in Europe.
I am okay with suggestive jokes and stuff like that, but only from other people who are also minors. People that arenât minors can still follow and interact with me, but then donât make suggestive jokes please.
Hope you have a good time here!
LORE (Not really):
I have 3 worms thanks to i-give-worms
I have also have giant orange fuzzy worm pet
I have an apple
I also have too many kiwis - 502
I have a curse where all my Garlic Bread also contains onions, but it can be fixed by using silver plates
I have a strong shield that repels kiwis
I was given 5 nekomimi (Which means with cat ears if google didnât lie to me) kids, named Karl, Max, Jerry, Tom and Hajime. I am not prepared for children but yeahh⌠when they grow up Iâll put them in my Garlic Bread factory or smth. Apparently they go crazy over cat nipâŚ
I have a really big box of garlic chicken tenders
I have a spray bottle
Selling hoodies with silhouettes of purple bats!! 8 left in stock!! They cost 2 Garlic Bread each!!
I have a skeleton skull that seems to possess the ghost of a French sailor
I have a snek and a birb :D

Asian surprise snack boxes, the type that sell stuff you can't buy at specialty grocery stores in Europe or North America, are cheaper on Etsy. Stuff like Tokyo Treat or Bokksu is fun but there's people on Etsy doing the same thing for cheaper. You can also find some stuff at your local Asian market. Most of the ramen they sell in those ramen subscription boxes can be found at specialty stores in major cities. Even stuff that's harder to find like durian chips or calorie mate or whatever can usually be bought on amazon or various other online distributors like yamibuy or whatever.

Munich Mineral Show Sale - October 25th 2024 Rules & Procedures
Hello friends! Everyone planning to participate in the sale today, please read. This is how everything will work. Iâm posting some items I picked at the Munich gem show. I will invoice tonight and after the second day of posting. All orders placed during this multi-day sale will be combined if you buy things on different days and orders will ship next week. And please note that I will be considering all these orders open box orders unless you specify you want me to add shipping! :)
I will start posting items for sale directly here on Tumblr. To claim an item and place your order, do the following:
Reply to the post (those who are unable to reply for whatever reason can reblog) saying âsoldâ or âmine" with the quantity youâd like to claim. Itâs important you do this so we can see who claimed something first in case something sells out.
Keep a list of everything you claim (with the item number for each item). Once youâre done claiming, please message me over the instant messenger.
Include the following information in your message:
Your email address for the invoice, the country you live in (for shipping purposes - we are shipping from Austria), and the list of what you claimed (with the item numbers). Also please let me know if you want your order to be *open box* or *ready to ship*. âOpen boxâ simply means you want us to hang onto your items after you pay so that you can continue to add things from future sales so everything can be shipped together for convenience đ
Shipping to Europe is $12
Shipping elsewhere is $15
For extra-large packages, shipping is $20
Be sure to send your info at the end of the sale or whenever youâre sure youâre done claiming.
Invoicing will be done through my online shop âBekkathystâ - the invoice gets sent to your email and you get the option to pay with a PayPal account or with a credit or debit card. You donât need to have a PayPal account to pay.
Please pay as soon as possible so we can continue to shop for new inventory at the show :)
Unfortunately due to problems we have encountered before - if you claim items and then at the end of the sale and either donât respond to your invoice or never message, you will be blocked.
If you decide youâre backing out of a claim before the sale is over, message me so that I can delete your comment. Please try to avoid doing this. Thank you!
We now offer an âopen boxâ option in which you can continue to keep your order open (aka have us not ship it yet) for future sales so everything can be shipped together once youâre ready. When you send your info please donât forget to let me know if youâd like your order to be *open box* or *ready to ship*. Thank you!! đ
For all items that are marked random selection, you may make a request for a specific piece and we will do our best to honor your request, but it is not always possible. Please keep that in mind :)
Any questions? Feel free to ask! I hope youâll join us and have lots of fun!

Biden To Step Aside: Know The Players And Motives Tossing aside one of the most progressive presidents in fifty years because you are afraid they might not win an election is just plain stupid without a really, really, really solid backup plan. It is even stupider if you look at who is pushing for him to step aside and their motives. Here are the main groups calling for Pres. Biden to step away from running against Trump in November and why:
1-Republicans. Republicans know Biden is the biggest threat to them getting back the White House and enacting their batshit crazy policy agenda. They want nothing more than to not run against Pres. Biden because not only does he have the track record of beating Trump before but has an amazing economic record to run on. If you ever want to understand who Republicans view as their political threat, all you have to do is look at who they are attacking. They were going after Hillary for three years prior to 2016. The entire Benghazi witch hunt had no other purpose than to damage her electorally. Every single hearing about Hunter Biden, the border, the Biden Crime Family,⌠is nothing more than dog and pony hearings to dampen Democratic and Independent voter enthusiasm.
2-The Media. Trumpâs non-stop crazy train administration was a goldmine for media outlets. Every day there was a new outrage, wild-ass rant, something that brought eyes to screens which translates to selling ad time/space. The Biden administration is efficient and boring. No scandals, except the ones Republicans gin up that turn up nothing. No rants. No chaos. No real controversy. Just plain old boring governance which is great for the country but bad for a business model that relies on shock, drama, and negativity. âDems in disarray,â has been a media cottage industry since Bill Clinton was in office. If you donât understand the financial motivation for why the media constantly derides Democrats for the slightest misstep while ignoring Republican malfeasance, you are probably likely to fall for their own brand of political propaganda.
It should tell you something that major news outlets have come out demanding Pres. Biden step aside for not looking good on camera during one ninety-minute debate but not a single one has asked the same of the candidate who was found guilty of sexual assault, found guilty of thirty-four felony charges, misspeaks dozens of times at every rally, and goes off on wild, illogical, batshit crazy tangents, and is tied to child sexual abuse via Jeffery Epstein. That they are not treating Trump with the same non-stop demands to step aside as they are Pres. Biden should tell you something about their motives.
3-Bad Foreign Actors. Russia wants nothing more than for Biden to lose the election. He is their biggest threat to taking over Ukraine and pushing their influence farther into Western Europe. NATO is stronger now and has more members than at any time in its history. This is the last thing Putin wants. Russia has been actively pushing propaganda online to influence U.S. elections for some time but really have ramped it up the past few election cycles.
Russia targets Republicans by fueling rage over culture war topics like abortion, immigration, racial violence, and the decline of Western, Christian norms. They also target liberals by trying to divide them over issues they care about Israel/Palestine, LGBTQI rights, Bernie vs Clinton, Bernie v Biden, DNC v âreal progressives,â⌠They want liberals at each otherâs throats because, if unified, the left is the largest voting bloc in America. Conservatives are electoral dinosaurs but they maintain power through gerrymandering, voter suppression, and liberals being more invested in their petty arguments than voting Republicans out of office.
4-Sandernistas. There is still a good-sized faction of people on the left who are still upset about Bernie Sanders not being the nominee in 2016 or in 2020. They are especially mad at what they deem as âestablishment Dems,â screwing over Sanders in 2020 starting with the South Carolina primary. What they really are upset about is black voters, predominately female black voters, denying their White Progressive Savior his rightful spot at the head of the ticket. Because Pres. Biden was the one who benefited from this minority voting bloc in 2020, tearing him down and taking him out is a passion project for a lot of so-called âprogressives.â
These âprogressives,â are under the disillusion that if the Democratic Party fails far enough, hard enough, they will be able rebuild it in their own, perfectly progressive image. They never explain how this magical transformation will happen, they just take it as a matter of faith. Of course, anyone who understands American history and basic civics knows if/when conservatives have ultimate power, they will make sure they never lose another election.
These âprogressives,â are the worst kind of progressive. They are often white, middle to upper-class liberals who view politics as a game because they are usually shielded from the consequences of the electoral decisions. If you are a middle/upper-class white, male progressive, very few, if any of Trumpâs actions when he was in office affected you directly. The same cannot be said about the progressive voters who overwhelmingly supported Hillary in 2016 and Joe in 2020. They have the most skin in the game, have the most to lose and they vote accordingly. For white dudebros to step in and demand Pres. Biden step aside is a direct âfuck youâ to the most loyal part of the base which has the most to lose if Trump is reelected.
Never mind this group has NEVER accomplished a damn thing politically other than cost many good Democrats to lose and decades and decades of progressive policy and law wiped out. They are as adamant about their political skills as they are it is always someone elseâs fault when the find-out portion of their fuck around actions comes to fruition.
5-Progressives suffering from 2016 PTSD. This is the one group I can actually relate to and sympathize with. Hillary's loss in 2016 was a major shock to a lot of people. This shock was compounded because not only were we denied the first female president, but we got a lying, narcissistic, misogynist man-child in her place who went about rolling back decades of hard-earned progressive policies and turning the Supreme Court into a right-wing arm of the Federalist Society.
For those of us who lived through 2016, there is no election data that will make us feel good or at ease. It also makes us hyper-vigilant about anything and everything that can be seen as a negative towards the nominee. The second anything bad happens, whether factual or not, a lot of people in this group take the flight instead of the fight option which is associated with PTSD.
Being overly anxious and hyper-vigilant are not necessarily bad unless they lead to bad decisions.
There is only one sure way to make sure Trump is not reelected. Vote for the candidate running against him. Period. Full fucking stop.
If you arenât willing to do this, for whatever reason you tell yourself, then you will be directly responsible for the very thing you claim is a politically existential moment. Stop listening and parroting Republican talking points. Stop allowing the media to determine who you should vote for. Stop listening to butt-hurt progressives who have no record of political success about what those who do should/shouldnât do. Stop acting like frightened little bunnies whenever someone says something negative about successful Democratic leaders. Stop automatically going into flight mode when something goes wrong or something negative is said. Fight.
If you arenât willing to fight, and Iâm not talking about inter-party fighting (that time came and went,) for womenâs rights, minority rights, safe air/water/food, climate policies, democracy⌠then you really arenât as progressive as you tell yourself and others. You are a big reason why we are even in this situation. Whether you like Pres. Biden or think he is too old really isnât the pertinent issue if you really care about the things you say you do. As long as Pres. Biden is willing to fight like hell for progressive policies and prevent Republicans from turning the country into a white supremacist, misogynist, oligarchy, you should be doing the same.
I donât know what is going to happen between now and election day. Neither does anyone else. The one thing I am 100% positive about is if Trump does win, the people on the left who have spent the majority of their time and energy railing against the Democratic Party and Pres. Biden will blame anyone and everyone other than themselves. If Pres. Biden wins reelection, these same people will claim their childish hissy fits are what led him to âchange course,â enabling him to win. Their view of personal responsibility for election outcomes is some fucked up âNo True Scotsman,â bullshit. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING ever counts against their political beliefs and views.
I know some people reading this will wonder why I spend so much time and energy railing against the left. The answer is really simple-I fully expect the people on the right to be bad-faith actors who are hell-bent on destroying any and all progressive policies and candidates. I donât, and shouldnât expect the same from people who claim to be political allies. You can't claim to be a member of Team Good⢠if your behaviors and actions help Team Badâ˘.

Very Rare Emperor Constantine Silver Ingots Saved From Illegal Sale
A man allegedly tried to illegally sell three rare Roman-era silver ingots that his great-grandmother reportedly found in her garden years ago.
Three "truly sensational" Roman-era silver ingots depicting Constantine the Great were nearly sold illegally on the internet, a new investigation finds.
An unnamed man alleged that his great-grandmother found the rare artifacts buried in the family's backyard in Transcarpathia (also known as Zakarpattia), a region in western Ukraine. Later, the man reportedly tried to sell one of the silver bars online, according to Public Uzhgorod, Ukraine's public broadcast station.
However, officials from the museum intervened by reporting the attempted illegal sale to local law enforcement. When officers searched the home, they discovered two additional ingots. Because the ingots have "special cultural value," Ukraine's Office of the Prosecutor General has taken over the case, according to a translated statement from the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in Kyiv.
Each of the metal blocks, which are almost entirely pure silver, weighs more than 12 ounces (342 grams) and contains a coin-shaped impression of Emperor Constantine the Great on each side, according to the statement. Constantine, who ruled from A.D. 306 to 337, is known for ushering Christianity into the Roman Empire and moving his capital to "New Rome," which later became Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul).
The ingots would have been used during the minting process to strike coins known as siliquae. The coins with Constantine's likeness would have been issued between A.D. 310 and 313 in Augusta Treverorum, a Roman city that today is Trier, Germany. At one time, the pieces would have been batched together with a thin, silver ribbon, which has since been lost, according to the statement.
"Three ingots fastened together were supposed to be a gift for a very high-ranking person," Maksym Levada, a curator at the museum, said in the statement. "The fact that they were found outside the Roman Empire on the territory of modern Ukraine makes them an invaluable source of our past."
Experts estimate the treasure's value at 3.5 million Ukrainian hryvnia, or about $84,800.
"But what makes them unique is not the cost, but the fact that only a few similar ingots have been found in Europe to date," Andriy Kostin, Ukraine's prosecutor general, said in the statement.
There are about 90 known Roman silver ingots in existence today, with only 11 containing mint stamp impressions, making the three ingots' recovery even rarer, according to the statement.
Kyrylo Myzgin, an archaeologist and faculty member at the University of Warsaw who initially examined the ingots, said in an email that the finding "can be considered truly sensational."
"It is excellent news that they ended up in a museum rather than on the black market for antiquities," Myzgin said. "Roman silver ingots with coin die imprints are incredibl\y rare and were virtually unknown outside the Roman Empire. It is likely that these ingots reached the territory of what is now western Ukraine as a result of interactions between the local population â possibly Germanic tribes or Dacians [people in what is now largely modern-day Romania] â and the Roman Empire in the early 4th century. However, the exact nature of these interactions has yet to be determined."
The ingots are now on display in the museum's "Salvated Treasures" exhibition, which contains a collection of rescued artifacts.

Where to find witchcraft materials in Brazil
(without being SCAMED)
When i started learning about witchcraft, one of the first problems i run into was acess to materials. I knew their names, what they should look like, but had no clue where to go to buy. The first time i entered a Esoteric store i was blown away for two reasons:one, everything was beautifull; two, everything was expansive.
Online, most the resources i find are in english and for EUA and Europe. So I've decided to make this post listing some palces in brazil, where we brazilian witches can find tools and materials for our craft.
*All images are from google as an exemple of how these places might look like, but their apparece can change from state-to-state.
Casas de religiĂŁo (Religious houses)
These places sell iteams used in Quimbanda and Ubanda practices, but not only that. You see: candles, incense and herbs can also be found there. As well as incense holders, statues and more. Of course we aren't going to pick up things from closed practices, we know that much! But we there is a lot in the casas de religiĂŁo that we can use.
MercadĂŁo
The mercadĂŁo usually exists in big cities (like sĂŁo paulo e porto alegre), and i love it. Is where i bought most of my stuff, like candles, herbs, and the pilĂŁo(an wood tool used to smash and grind herbs). The nice thing in the MercadĂŁo is that there are multiple stores within it, like a mall but cheaper. So inside we can find a couple casas de religiĂŁo, general nature stores, etc. If you are also looking for fruits, vegetables and fresh fish, this is your spot!
Feira (fair)
The feira usually happens once a week, in a set spot, and they sell local grown fruits and vegetables. Besides selling the best pastel you will ever eat, you might just be lucky enough to find some herbs that you can use in your craft.
But there are also the "fairas para turistas", which are a bit more tricky. In there you can find a bunch of different things: antique items, old books, and crystals. The thing is that because these places are more for tourists, they tend to be more expensive.
Loja de tudo 10 ("Everything is 10 bucks" store, would be our dolla tree or equivalent)
Once called loja de 1,99, these stores ware the og shain and amazon for brazilians. We know the stuff there is bad quality, but it is soo cheap too! In there you gotta focus on finding tools (scissors, knifes, plates), offering bowls, and incense! All my incense are from these stores, they have some very unique smells, but i like it.
O Supermercado (The supermarket)
If it all fails, go to your local supermarket in brazil. It will sell some white candels and comun herbs too. We have the small local markets, and also the big supermarket chains. Usually, the local small supermarkets sell the same thing from the big chains, but cheaper.
EXTRAS:
Sebos
Do you want to find some witchcraft books, but don't want to give money to bezos? Then try the Sebos, second hand bookstores that might have what you want. The thing is that they are much like gambling, so it depends a lot on luck. However, even if you don't find what you are lookign for, i bet you will find some other cool book to take home with you
Floriculturas
The flower shops sell, well flowers (and valantine's day gifts, too), but not only. Its there where you will find some herbs to plant in your garden, if you want to keep one! You can also find the alive herb to buy in the casas de religiĂŁo e nos mercadĂľes.
