Can the demons in jttw eat other demons to gain longer life spans? Or like people too?

To my knowledge, this doesn't happen in the story. Just think about all of the times that Zhu Bajie (Pigsy) is captured and almost eaten. None of the demon kings involved say anything about the possibility of his flesh lengthening their lives. Also, think about all of the times that demons eat (or talk about having eaten) people throughout the story. It's nothing special.

The only reason that Tripitaka is much sought after is because he has refined his spirit over many lifetimes, making him a walking elixir of immortality. For example, chapter 33 reads:

The second demon said, "Here comes the Tang Monk!" "Where is he?" asked the various little fiends. The second demon said, "Auspicious clouds will alight on the head of a virtuous man, whereas the black ether emitted from the head of a wicked man will rise up to the sky. That Tang Monk is actually the incarnation of the Elder Gold Cicada, a virtuous man who has practiced austerities for ten existences. That's why he is encircled by these auspicious clouds" (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 2, p. 105).  

Monkey even mentions the grandeur of his master's aura in chapter 80:

We tell you now about our Great Sage, who somersaulted into midair. As he paused in his cloudy luminosity to look back, he saw that the pine forest was veiled by hallowed clouds and auspicious mists. So moved was he by the sight that he unwittingly blurted out, "Marvelous! Marvelous!"

Why did he say that, you ask? He was giving praise to the Tang Monk, you see, and recalling to himself the fact that his master was verily the incarnation of the Elder Gold Cicada, a good man who has practiced austerities for ten incarnations. That was why his head was surrounded by such an auspicious halo (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 4, p. 66).

It took three and a half years, but I'm finally up-to-date with my hi-res jobstone illustrations. I started with the Summoner during summer of 2021, and I just finished my last one (Viper) a few days ago.

This project started because it annoyed me that there weren't any official hi-res images of the jobstones. I just really wanted to look at the pretty rocks that played such an important role in the game!!! So hopefully someone else who is obsessive about in-game items can derive some pleasure from this.

Their eyes have found each other, her gentle hand guided his lips into a short, yet tender peck. It was a moment before he set off to wrack heaven once more and avenge his fallen kind.

"My... Is that how mortals says goodbye?" He teased, gazing down at her with his innocent eyes, though knowing that she was not a mortal, nor born as one. He never thought kissing as a concept of intimacy, so the woman just laugh quietly, brushing her thumb against his rough lips.

"A memorable goodbye," She replied, her smile radiates. She held her gaze for a few seconds before adding, "And a wish for good luck." A small smirk tugged on the corner of his lips hearing her amusing yet fluttering words. "You're a clever maiden," He chuckled. "May you pray to those above for their own downfall, as the Great Sage, Equal to Heaven made his debut once again!"

He soon vanished from her sight, making his way through the clouds and mountains towards the sky. Little did she know, it will be a heartbreaking end for the two of them.

He turned back to her, with his signature charming smile drawn across his face. The gentle look on his face never fail to make her heart race. Hundreds of thoughts flashed inside her head, before his voice setting her back to the ground. "I have to go now. And i promise... I Will come back later."

Phew! After working 4+ hours on Wukong's armor last night it's finally done! I literally locked in with the entire process XD

Another thing is, the woman in the drawing is my BMW oc. Her name and her origin is still a secret 🫣

Ok this is super niche but if the Justice League was in Eorzea (ffxiv) what classes would they be. I’ve been thinking about this way too much.

Like I’m gonna draw Bruce as a Dark Knight but I genuinely believe he would either be a Ninja or a Sage. Cause of how mmo healers can be (I know cause I am one sometimes)

I think Diana would make a wonderful Paladin, she just feels like she is that light.

I genuinely am stumped on Clark. Maybe a Gunbreaker for what they represent, or maybe a Monk. I feel like Monk might work well.

Oliver has to be a Bard, like it just fits him perfectly. He’s hopeful and wants to help the little guy.

I’m thinking there can be some overlap and the Justice League is just a big Free Company. Oh my word this is so dumb but these are my hyper fixations. Like these are the two things that people can’t talk to me about cause I just won’t shut up about them. I like them a lot.

I might delete this later cause I’m embarrassed.
