Bob Paris in his prime
Bob was an embodiment of dedication and discipline. He pushed the limits with heavy weights, focusing on both hypertrophy and maintaining a harmonious balance among muscle groups. The result is... well, you see it!
P.S. If you want to know the secret behind this physique, he wrote a whole book on it: “Beyond Built: Bob Paris' Guide to Achieving the Ultimate Look”
Can't do this again for a while, but I'm going into clinic this Wednesday, for what I hope will be the first steps back towards this. Nothing more fun than shifting 300+kg for reps haha
One of the best stage performers in bodybuilding’s history - Ed Corney.
He won the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB), Mr. Universe twice (1971, 1972), Mr. America once (1972), and Masters Olympia twice (1989, 1990).
In the movie “Pumping Iron”, there’s a scene in which Arnold is watching Ed Corney’s posing and whispers to the cameraman, “That’s what I call posing”.
He was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2004 and became an icon in the industry.
Ed admitted to using PEDs but added that he was "97 percent training and three percent steroids." He still IS one massive inspiration for many athletes today, just look at this physique!
