#DJmonday Ben Taylor, formerly of WMBM in Miami Beach, Florida, joined the staff of WMBG in Richmond, Virginia, in 1947. The "1380 Club" must have been very popular, judging by the fan mail he's sifting through here. Taylor moved to Richmond's WLEE in 1952.

"A novel and somewhat new approach to the disk jockey idea appears to be Ben Taylor's 'Musical Swap Shop' [at WLEE] … a listener like Joe Hepcat calls and tells Taylor he has some Stan Kenton 'progressive jazz' platters he would be willing to trade for the pure jazz product that Louis Armstrong gives out.

His entire demeanor gave off the vibe of “:D!!!!!!” “Trent Crimm!” Ted returned; his grin pleased but deeply confused. This was only about to get worse. Trent beamed at him, and then in a flash, threw himself forward. And suddenly Ted has an armful of enthusiastic Trent Crimm. Trent is—hugging him??? Ted, not upset but very confused at this development, slowly hugs back, and then pats his back twice. Trent is warm and solid and hugging him tightly, which is actually—really nice. Also, he smells nice, which is a fact Ted files away under Stop Being Weird. Trent pulls away, still beaming, and says “Ted! Hello!” It feels like he’s actually adding about five exclamation points to each word. “Oooooooh,” says the woman, “Teeeed.” And then she says to Trent, lower but still extremely audible to Ted, “who’s Ted again? Do we know Ted? Do we like Ted?” “We like Ted,” Trent affirms. He gives a dorky little thumbs up. Ted is fascinated.

i'm sorry this is long i just really like so many things about this interaction. ted having 'an armful of enthusiastic trent crimm' and trent being a human ':D!!'. sasha stealing the drink back while he's distracted. 'he smells nice with ted files away under Stop Being Weird'. my favorite part might be the end with 'who's ted? do we like ted?' 'we like ted 👍' dlkjfghfgh

(and the later payoff of ted being like yknow i know being called wanker all the time is in of itself its own brand of affection but it was kind of nice to ahve someone be genuinely delighted to see me, let alone someone that i suspected respected me but did not like me--but apparently he really, really likes me, which is kinda nice to hear)

There is no perfect methodology in the world, an excellent book of learning. Learning is a process, a process of experiencing the good and bad brought about by different cultural backgrounds, an opportunity to experience various learning methods, and a diversified way to know yourself. Let’s make our own luck today!

Knowing what you want is half the battle. Most people go through their students' lives not knowing what they want and how to make a deal.

Most of the generation has lost some of its most important talents: Curiosity, Creativity, Dreams, but these are not taught in school.

However, what the school teaches is:

The course content is as thick as snow, and your proficiency in the textbook content is tested through examinations. Achievement is the only test standard, and the growth rate and quality of students are measured by the level of achievement.

If graduation makes students feel very happy, it means that our education has failed and lacks a system. Since they hate going to school and this annoying way of learning, graduation should not be the end, but the beginning.

On the day we leave the campus, we should understand that we have mastered the ability to learn, feel fresh and interesting in a strange world, and are keen to explore what the new world brings to us.

On the day we leave the campus, we should love learning more and have endless curiosity about things.

On the day we leave the campus, should be able to proudly tell others the name of your alma mater. (Regardless of whether its ranking is top or bottom) As it allows you to experience wonderful times and journeys that others can not experience, you are truly free from CULTURE SHOCK, and enjoy all rights, and gain a sense of identity.

Otherwise, the cognition in this life will stay on the day you leave the campus, and you will no longer be able to grow and become the person you could have been. The so-called “growth” is nothing more than keeping students with their curiosity. Unfortunately, this is missing in our education.

Thinking influences behavior and technology creates the future.

EP轉PR申請步驟詳解：

一，網上預約PR申請時間 登陸新加坡移民廳官網www.i a .g o v.s g 點擊申請永久居留權； 然後進入e-Appointment，預約您申請PR的時間；（由於目前申請PR的人數較多，能預約到的位置可能是3至6個月之後） 預約後，打印出預約涵； 提交材料時排隊需要

關於預約的幾個小貼士：

（a）預先提前預約，留足時間準備申請材料。

（b）如果想預約較早的位置，可以嘗試凌晨或早上登陸ICA預約系統，有時有人取消預約，也許您可以提前自己的預約時間。

（c）預約一個人的申請，交付時，也可申請一家人的申請。

二，材料準備：在移民廳官網下載申請表格。 （a）。申請表格，請照個人實際情況填寫表格，做到字跡清晰工整，外觀。 （b）。公司表格，申請有一頁是需要公司填寫。交予公司HR或老闆填寫。

這裡經常有朋友會問，公司不願意填寫，該怎麼辦？自己能申請嗎？ 我的經驗是，可以參與公司和個人情況，誠懇並如實的寫一封解釋信，解釋為什麼拿不到公司表格以及公司推薦信。官員會收材料，但是能否批准，要看官員的判斷。雖然批准的概率小的一些，但是解釋信也是有很多批准案例的。

除申請表格外的其他遞交材料：

（a）護照（個人信息頁，所有帶簽證以及蓋章的頁面）； （b）身份證（需要新加坡高庭翻譯或中國公證）； （c）工作准證； （d）學歷證明和公證（中國大專以及上學歷最好能提供學信網（w w w。c h si .co http://m.cn）認證）； （e）結婚證明（需要翻譯）; （f）出生證明（需要翻譯）; （g）雇主的推薦信及基本工資； （h）過去6個月的工資單; （i）過去3年的賠償單（如已丟失，可在ICA下載並填寫附錄-1（PR-PTS）表格，ICA會主動跟稅務局查詢）； （j）公司簡介自顧EP的（如有，自己是公司老闆的情況）； （k）配偶的學歷出生證明護照及身份證（翻譯）; （l）小孩出身證明（如有，翻譯）； （m）死亡證明或離婚證明（如有）。
