unwinding after a long week feels so good and a rly good way in general to self-soothe in a healthy way. its de-transitioning from the hustle and bustle of ur day/week and lulling urself into a relaxed and calm state, where u can be creative, restful and imaginative.

have a mini spa day and try to incorporate self care every single day consistently as a way to unwind. if u wanna know how to have an at home spa day i recommend reading this post but some ways that u can do soothing self care include...
taking a bubble bath with bath salts and bath milks
do a hydrating facial mask after doing a soothing facial massage
A "LET IT OUT" ACTIVITY ;
this section is for activities that make u feel like ur releasing something that has been making u fatigued. an example of this could be exercising where you sweat out toxins and it helps u to de-stress.
go for a refreshing swim
journal + dump whatever is on ur mind onto paper
baking sweet treats for urself and ur family

having something to indulge in and look forward to at the end of a long week is so fulfilling. whether its episodes to ur favorite series or show, or binging movies, or maybe enjoying ur favorite food.
i remember earlier this year my thing that i looked forward to every friday and saturday was the my demon episodes on netflix cuz that drama was SO GOOD. nowadays its desperate housewives.

do a calming meditation, unclench ur jaw, stretch and move ur limbs. let yourself be loose and relaxed. take a nap if ur someone who takes naps and if ur not then maybe a guided meditation can do the trick for you.

Summer Diary #01: Lihim ng Kubli
As the temperature rise up to 48 degrees Celsius here in the Philippines the more reason for me to look for a place where I can go dip in a cold water and just unwind.
Last May 3, 2024 (Friday), I just randomly messaged my #bff Ven inviting her to go to #LihimngKubli by May 4, 2024, and she immediately agreed to join me!- hahaha! 😂 I know unplanned and very impulsive but I cannot take it anymore, I need water or langoy na langoy na talaga ako 😂 after she agreed, we randomly created a GC inviting our friends to go on a trip with us and we ended up inviting 6 people. I immediately made a reservation and mabuti na lang they are not yet full and can still accommodate us, oh yeaaaah!! 🥳
May 4, 2024 (Saturday) - we all hit the road ng 6 A.M with Ven as our driver sweet lover 😉. We had fun and madaming chikagalore during the trip, but I secretly appreciated the view of nature and the colder weather in Indang compared to Dasmariñas! Sobrang total contrast ng weather knowing nasa iisang province lang ang two cities 🤯.

Totally worth it ang aming day trip and sulit for 6 people, the water was cold and perfect to beat the heat of summer talaga! It's been awhile hindi na din ako nakakakita ng "dragonflies", they are still colorful and beautiful as ever. Meron ako naging kaibigan na teal colored dragonfly while nakaupo sa pool, it always goes to me and looks at me eye-to-eye at palagi ko sinasabi kapag lumalapit yung dragonfly: "You are so beautiful and thank you for being friendly with me", It felt like it knows what I am talking about, hindi siya natatakot lumapit knowing most of the insect are scared to be touch - and na appreciate ko yung trust niya awwwweeee 💖💖💖.

This trip truly rejuvenated my mind, body, and soul! 🙏 Iba talaga nagagawa ng nature sa ating mga katawan, bigla ko tuloy na-miss lumublob sa malamig na tubig o kaya't ay umupo at pakingan ang huni ng mga ibon, ang pagwagaswas ng mga dahon ng puno, at ang pag-agos ng tubig and these are the things we cannot have in the city. I want to go back again 🥺.
May 5, 2024 (Sunday) - Okay, I woke up earlier na sobrang sore ng leg muscles ko, nasobrahan ata sa langoy o kaya't dahil din sa pag-akyat panaog papunta sa pool hahahahahahahaahahah! 😂

Cannot stress the importance of rest and solitude for an introvert with fibromyalgia. I spent my entire weekend mainly by myself and I FEEL RECHARGED. Nothing feels better than resting in my most sacred and comforting space without a single social obligation in sight. I got so many things accomplished in between resting and relaxing. My home feels so clean and clutter-free.
Gave some self-care not only to my home this weekend, but myself as well. After hangin at our pool for hours, my skin is so soft and tan. My body felt weightless floating there on the surface as I watched the cloud float by. I finished a book and did a ton of word puzzles. I even had time to edit some of my photography and be super creative.
My mind and body feel sooo recharged ☮️💖
