Where my fellow childfree ladies at? I feel like I've passed the point of familial and societal pressure as my ovaries shrivel up in my thirties and everyone just kind of assumes there's a problem. I'm greeted more with pity and surprise than judgment and consternation. But I like my childfree life, just as much as I like my friends' kids. It's uncharted territory. How do you feel about your childfree life?

When I make videos about the working class and the harm being done by wealthy people and conservative policies, I am well aware that I do not need to tell Black Americans any of that.
Black American’s know how to vote in favor of their own interest, and yet white Americans have continued to vote against their own interest, thinking there would never be any consequences for them. Well, now here we are.

After the Trump administration shut down reproductiverights.gov, I have created a mirror of it.
It's a Notion page, so if you use Notion I encourage you to duplicate it and mirror it yourself too.

"The unborn" are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make any demands of you. They allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus, but actually dislike people who breathe. Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible get thrown under the bus for the unborn." - Pastor David Barnhart

Election Crunch: Kamala Harris vs. Donald Trump
The latest CNN/SSRS poll paints a fascinating picture of the presidential race landscape in the battleground states. Vice President Kamala Harris edges out former President Donald Trump in key regions, but their race remains razor-thin and filled with uncertainties.
While Harris edges slightly ahead in states like Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin, Trump shows strength in Arizona and Pennsylvania. Issues like the economy and immigration give Trump an edge, whereas Harris gains traction on democracy and reproductive rights.
But let's zoom in: 62% of Arizona voters support a state constitutional amendment for abortion rights. Does this signal a pivotal shift? And with Democratic Senate candidates seemingly performing better than Harris in some regions, what does it say about the broader Democratic strategy?
What's your take on these poll results? Do you think these early indicators will hold up or shift as campaigns intensify? What factors do you believe will be the most decisive in these battleground states? Let's discuss!

#StopCensoringAbortion Campaign
A Campain to Ensure Access to Information About Abortion & Providers to Those in Need
This a subject near and dear to my heart. Yeah, we all have our own views about this, but I believe that children should be cherished and loved and not be forced on unwilling participants who won't care for them.
This article from the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) fights back against increasing content moderation surrounding abortion pill access. Pregnant women are on a timeline and need urgent access to up to date and unbiased information to make the best choice for themselves and their families.

Latest Trump administration nonsense
It seems reproductiverights.gov is down and I'm hearing it's intentional rather than a technical issue. Wow.
It's not returning DNS. NOERROR and empty ANSWER rather than NXDOMAIN, but all of .gov seems to do that for records which don't exist. Also points toward intentional shutdown.

Hindus for Human Rights Statement on the Results of the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election
Tumblr media
As of this morning, it’s now clear that Donald Trump has won the U.S. presidential election, a result that brings with it substantial and sobering implications for human rights in the United States and beyond. Our commitment to justice and human dignity compels us to address the questions and concerns this outcome raises for our shared values and the communities we serve.
We know from the last time Donald Trump held office the existential danger that his brand of hateful, xenophobic white Christian nationalism poses to marginalized communities in the United States and across the world.Trump has promised an even more terrifying second term outlined in a roadmap known as Project 2025.  Read Full Story

Taking Charge of Your Reproductive Health: A Comprehensive Guide to Contraception and Family Planning
Contraception is concerned with methods or devices that prevent pregnancy. It includes options ranging from hormonal pills, implants, intrauterine devices, barrier methods to sterilisation. These methods give people more power to control when or if they become pregnant.
Family planning is a wider concept. It is a process through which individuals and couples prepare and space their children considering the desired number of births. Family planning promotes responsible parenting and supports everything relating to maternal and child health. This ensures that pregnancies are intended and welcomed.
