How Can Employee Productivity Tracker Streamline Project Management?
In today's dynamic work environment, where deadlines loom and resources are often stretched thin, managing diverse projects with remote employees is one of the biggest challenges for managers. However, a centralized employee productivity tracker can be your trusted ally to monitor how your employees utilize their time and resources. Since this tool provides insightful data in real-time, organizations can seamlessly navigate through the complexities with greater clarity regarding project progress.
Imagine a situation wherein every activity of your employee is visible remotely and a dashboard that paints a clear picture of the team’s performance, hidden insights into workflow, and overall business strategies. Sounds too good to be true, right? An employee tracking solution frees managers from guesswork as it offers accurate insights into the productivity levels of every team member, time taken to complete tasks, and employee performance. Also, it aids in identifying bottlenecks in the workflows.
In this blog, we will highlight practical ways to manage diverse projects with remote employees by utilizing robust features of employee time-tracking apps for your better understanding.
What is Employee Tracking Software?
Monitoring the productivity of your remote employees can be difficult when done manually through calls or emails. With the rising shift towards remote work environments, managers are finding it difficult to enhance work efficiency, drive scalability, and achieve overall business success. Hence, it is imperative for businesses to adapt innovative tools to manage remote teams and enhance productivity.
In addition, TrackOlap employee monitoring software provides insightful data on several parameters in real-time, supporting businesses in making informed decisions and continuously enhancing workflows and other improvements. As a manager, you can observe employees' behavior during working hours, identify areas for improvement in team performance, and ensure the overall business operation thrives.
Lastly, by tracking employees' activities and work efficiency through a central dashboard, managers can save time from constantly following up with employees and maximize ROI.
What Metrics Does Employee Productivity Tracker Record?
As mentioned above, an employee productivity tracker enables businesses to track team activities, productivity levels, and more. This enables managers to consistently track progress over varied projects, identify inaccuracies in real-time, and make adjustments promptly to avoid delayed submissions or interrupted workflows. Let us explore a range of metrics that this software offers to multiple businesses.
Time Utilized: Average time spent on per task or project. Remote work management software offers a seamless data breakdown of where your resources spend time.
Employee’s Idle Time: An employee time tracking app captures the total number of breaks or duration of time off amid working hours to help managers identify unproductive team members
Computer Activity: Tracks website, documents, and applications visited by employees during working hours to determine their active time
Completed Tasks: Based on the overall output delivery, employee tracking solution keeps a record on overall completed tasks to optimize resource allocation strategy for the team
Moreover, employee time-tracking app tends to answer a range of questions with added clarity:
At what time does the team log-in and log-out?
Who are the underperformers and top performers in the team?
What sites is the team viewing, and for how much time?
What resources do we need to acquire project objectives?
Where do we need to focus on to drive better revenue?

Top Reason Why You Need Employee Productivity Tracker
Maintaining productivity is important for every business irrespective of what you do, and what you offer. It can become a complex process if you work with a remote team. Hence, implementing a robust employee productivity tracker is extremely important in today’s fast-paced world. Let us explore a few benefits of this software.
1. Effective Project Management
Managers can effortlessly manage project schedules and essential assignments through a centralized employee time-tracking app. By accessing historical data on parameters like employee performance, caliber, productivity levels, and more - as a manager, you can schedule tasks or allocate assignments based on the timeframe.
By constantly tracking their activities, you can immediately capture inaccuracies and find alternative solutions without interrupting the project's scheduled workflow.
2. Strategic Resource Allocation
Consistently monitoring employees’ productivity levels through remote work management software aids in identifying areas of h igh and low efficiency in the team. This data will support you with planning strategic resource allocation and ensure equal workload distribution.
In addition, centralized dashboards are an additional benefit for managers to access an overview of the entire team’s activities. Whether it is project deadlines, allocating assignments according to employees' expertise, staffing level, or overall team workload capability, an employee productivity tracker can come to your rescue.
3. Thorough Performance Analysis
Are you looking to re-align your allocation process? Access productivity levels and overall output delivered by your team members in previous weeks or months to determine their performance. Additionally, through graphically-rich reports, you will have a better picture of the overall team’s progress and encourage them to perform better from these analytics to drive better outcomes.
4. Assess Return on Investment (ROI)
By tracking your team’s productivity levels through employee tracking solutions, you can also analyze the effectiveness of the investment you made in varied tools, resources, and more. Yes, you heard it right! You can evaluate the overall output delivered by your team, their efforts, or work efficiency to understand the profitability of your projects and make better decisions for future endeavors.
5. Evaluate Workload Balance & Employee Burnouts
If your resource allocation strategy isn't optimized, or if you fail to manage equal workload within your team, your employees may feel burnout very frequently, which can ultimately affect their well-being.
However, many factors can lead to employee burnout, such as an imbalance in workload for a longer period of time. When you track productivity levels, if you observe uneven results, such as high-performers being unproductive or a sudden drop in overall output delivery, then it is an indication that they are on the edge of experiencing burnout.
Hence, it is important to set a realistic timeline for every delegated task, track achievable targets promptly, and ensure every employee has a suitable workload that is important for achieving project success.
6. Track Goals and Achievements
Tackling your employees' efficiency levels aids in setting realistic goals. Regularly measuring progress for these objectives will keep you aligned with minute progress. Additionally, evaluating reports like productivity vs. targets acquired assists in motivating employees to work closely to achieve specific goals and encourages teams to be accountable for certain aspects.
How to Manage Projects with Employee Tracking Solutions?
TrackOlap provides comprehensive software to manage projects, remote teams, and upscale business profitability with robust features. However, this software goes beyond productivity or time tracking as it offers valuable insights on many parameters that might otherwise go untapped.
1. Tracks Time Autonomously
It is important to understand your objectives before you implement varied strategies. Based on your objectives, consider integrating a time tracker like TrackOlap to foster accountability and transparency into the workflow and avoid interrupting your employees' privacy.

This can be helpful for organizations that have team members from different time zones. Moreover, these features remove the process of back-and-forth follow-ups, manual log-ins, and updating progress on every task.
2. Setting Productivity Benchmarks
Employee tracking solutions simplify the process of identifying when employees are productive and when they trick the team with time theft. This can help managers address such concerns in real-time and collaborate with employees in 1:1 sessions to boost business growth.
By encouraging employees to perform better and focusing on activities for employee development, you are likely to set high benchmarks for employee productivity. This approach will encourage team members to perform better and be focused, especially when their efforts are acknowledged and appreciated with a certain level of recognition. Ultimately, all these aspects will lead to better revenue, satisfied clients, and retained employees.
3. Effective Project Budgeting
Managers can conduct a thorough project cost analysis through data-driven reports based on the employee's performance, productivity levels, and amount of output delivered in previous months. Based on this analysis, businesses can estimate an average feasible timeline to complete a project without causing burnout among team members and an overall budget to ensure you achieve significant profitability with your existing team.

Best Ways to Introduce Productivity Monitoring to an Organization
How to introduce productivity monitoring to your organization?
In any organization, large or small, public or private, there are always opportunities to increase productivity. Another alternative is to keep track of the productivity of your employees. You can do this in various ways, but it is essential to do it in a way that is respectful of employees' privacy and does not create a hostile work environment. Let us learn about it in detail.
What is productivity monitoring software?
Productivity monitoring software is a type of software that helps manage employees' workflow. It also helps ensure that employees are not wasting too much time on social media or other activities that do not contribute to their productivity.
One can use the productivity monitoring tool in various ways depending on the company and its work culture. For instance, some companies use it to ensure that all their employees are working at least 40 hours a week, while others use it to monitor employees' time on social media or online shopping.

Tips on how to introduce productivity monitoring to your organization
To ensure that your organization runs as efficiently as possible, you may consider introducing productivity monitoring. You can discover areas where improvements can be made by charting employee productivity.
To ensure you don't encounter any issues when implementing such a system, consider these things:
1. Be Transparent to your Employees
Employee monitoring is a controversial topic. Some people think monitoring employees is unethical, while others believe it's necessary to maintain productivity. To be transparent and make sure that the employees are happy, employers should have a set of clear rules on how they monitor their employees.
Employers should also be okay with their employees about what they are tracking and why they are doing it.
2. Communication: Update your employees and managers
In a globalized and digitalized world, keeping employees updated with the latest information is necessary. Using different approaches to update employees, such as remote meetings, video conferences, or even online training, is essential. Communication is a vital component of your workplace. Quality-minded when it comes to how you communicate is just as important as what you actually say.
3. Encourage Ownership: Share the data to improve productivity
Employee monitoring is a process of tracking and recording employee's activities and helps managers analyze, evaluate and improve the performance of their employees. Employers can monitor their employee's productivity with a remote environment, flexible implementation, and tracking. The goal is to inform employees about what they are doing wrong and how to improve their performance.
Employers can use this data to find out which team members are more productive than others. They can also see which tasks require more effort from the employee's side and should be prioritized accordingly.
4. Ensure Remote culture
Remote work culture is a relatively new concept, and it's one that many people are wary of. It helps to increase employee productivity and reduce absenteeism. To keep track of employees, companies use different tools that monitor their activity and location. The most popular tool is software that tracks employees' office hours, remote work hours, and breaks taken.
Having a remote culture in an organization is crucial so that employees feel comfortable with the environment they are working in. It is vital to have a remote culture in an organization so that employees feel comfortable with the environment they are working in.
5. Recognize Privacy Concerns
With the prevalence of remote workers, flexible schedules, and remote settings, it's now more challenging to know what your employees are doing at home or at work. This can lead to many privacy concerns. There are many ways to implement employee tracking and monitoring, but choosing one that suits your needs best is essential.
Observing your employees will help you keep track of their performance and ensure they are engaged in work in accordance with your expectations. The program will help you determine if any suspicious activity or actions are taking place over a remote distance.
Ending Up the blog:
To conclude, it is essential to consider all the potential risks and benefits of introducing productivity monitoring to your organization. Both efficient manual and automated forms of productivity tracking exist. As you decide if you'd like to implement productivity monitoring, it's a good idea to choose an approach that is respectful of your workers' privacy.
You can use the Time Champ software to make it more effective among employees. The Time Champ  tool is an ideal way to keep track of employee productivity and identify areas where improvements are made. Implementing a productivity monitoring system can help your organization reach its full potential.

Elon Musk’s minions—from trusted sidekicks to random college students and former Musk company interns—have taken over the General Services Administration, a critical government agency that manages federal offices and technology. Already, the team is attempting to use White House security credentials to gain unusual access to GSA tech, deploying a suite of new AI software, and recreating the office in X’s image, according to leaked documents obtained by WIRED.
Some of the same people who helped Musk take over Twitter more than two years ago are now registered as official GSA employees. Nicole Hollander, who slept in Twitter HQ as an unofficial member of Musk’s transition team, has high-level agency access and an official government email address, according to documents viewed by WIRED. Hollander’s husband, Steve Davis, also slept in the office. He has now taken on a leading role in Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Thomas Shedd, the recently installed director of the Technology Transformation Services within GSA, worked as a software engineer at Tesla for eight years. Edward Coristine, who previously interned at Neuralink, has been onboarded along with Ethan Shaotran, a Harvard senior who is developing his own OpenAI-backed scheduling assistant and participated in an xAI hackathon.
“I believe these people do not want to help the federal government provide services to the American people,” says a current GSA employee who asked not to be named, citing fears of retaliation. “They are acting like this is a takeover of a tech company.”
The team appears to be carrying out Musk’s agenda: slashing the federal government as quickly as possible. They’re currently targeting a 50 percent reduction in spending for every office managed by the GSA, according to documents obtained by WIRED.
There also appears to be an effort to use IT credentials from the Executive Office of the President to access GSA laptops and internal GSA infrastructure. Typically, access to agency systems requires workers to be employed at such agencies, sources say. While Musk's team could be trying to obtain better laptops and equipment from GSA, sources fear that the mandate laid out in the DOGE executive order would grant the body broad access to GSA systems and data. That includes sensitive procurement data, data internal to all the systems and services GSA offers, and internal monitoring software to surveil GSA employees as part of normal auditing and security processes.
The access could give Musk’s proxies the ability to remote into laptops, listen in on meetings, read emails, among many other things, a former Biden official told WIRED on Friday.
“Granting DOGE staff, many of whom aren't government employees, unfettered access to internal government systems and sensitive data poses a huge security risk to the federal government and to the American public,” the Biden official said. “Not only will DOGE be able to review procurement-sensitive information about major government contracts, it'll also be able to actively surveil government employees.”
The new GSA leadership team has prioritized downsizing the GSA’s real estate portfolio, canceling convenience contracts, and rolling out AI tools for use by the federal government, according to internal documents and interviews with sources familiar with the situation. At a GSA office in Washington, DC, earlier this week, there were three items written on a white board sitting in a large, vacant room. “Spending Cuts $585 m, Regulations Removed, 15, Square feet sold/terminated 203,000 sf,” it read, according to a photo viewed by WIRED. There’s no note of who wrote the message, but it appears to be a tracker of cuts made or proposed by the team.
“We notified the commercial real estate market that two GSA properties would soon be listed for sale, and we terminated three leases,” Stephen Ehikian, the newly appointed GSA acting administrator, said in an email to GSA staff on Tuesday, confirming the agency’s focus on lowering real estate costs. “This is our first step in right-sizing the real estate portfolio.”
The proposed changes extend even inside the physical spaces at the GSA offices. Hollander has requested multiple “resting rooms,” for use by the A-suite, a team of employees affiliated with the GSA administrator’s office.
On January 29, a working group of high-ranking GSA employees, including the deputy general counsel and the chief administrative services officer, met to discuss building a resting room prototype. The team mapped out how to get the necessary funding and waivers to build resting rooms in the office, according to an agenda viewed by WIRED.
After Musk bought Twitter, Hollander and Davis moved into the office with their newborn baby. Hollander helped oversee real estate and office design—including the installation of hotel rooms at Twitter HQ, according to a lawsuit later filed by Twitter executives. During the installation process, one of the executives emailed to say that the plans for the rooms were likely not code compliant. Hollander “visited him in person and emphatically instructed him to never put anything about the project in writing again,” the lawsuit alleged. Employees were allegedly instructed to call the hotel rooms “sleeping rooms” and to say they were just for taking naps.
Hollander has also requested access to Public Buildings Service applications; PBS owns and leases office space to government agencies. The timing of the access request lines up with Ehikian’s announcement about shrinking GSA’s real estate cost.
Musk’s lieutenants are also working to authorize the use of AI tools, including Google Gemini and Cursor (an AI coding assistant), for federal workers. On January 30, the group met with Google to discuss Telemetry, a software used to monitor the health and performance of applications, according to a document obtained by WIRED.
A-suite engineers, including Coristine and Shaotran, have requested access to a variety of GSA records, including nearly 10 years of accounting data, as well as detailed records on vendor payments, purchase orders, and revenue.
The GSA takeover mimics Musk’s strategy at other federal agencies like the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Earlier this month, Amanda Scales, who worked in talent at Musk’s xAI, was appointed as OPM chief of staff. Riccardo Biasini, former Tesla engineer and director of operations at the Boring company, is now a senior adviser to the director. Earlier this week, Musk cohorts at the US Office of Personnel Management emailed more than 2 million federal workers offering “deferred resignations,” allegedly promising employees their regular pay and benefits through September 30.
The email closely mirrored the “extremely hardcore” note Musk sent to Twitter staff in November 2022, shortly after buying the company.
Many federal workers thought the email was fake—as with Twitter, it seemed designed to force people to leave, slashing headcount costs without the headache of an official layoff.
Ehikian followed up with a note to staff stressing that the email was legitimate. “Yes, the OPM email is real and should be taken very seriously,” he said in an email obtained by WIRED. He added that employees should expect a “further consolidation of offices and centralization of functions.”
On Thursday night, GSA workers received a third email related to the resignation request called “Fork in the Road FAQs.” The email explained that employees who resign from their positions would not be required to work and could get a second job. “We encourage you to find a job in the private sector as soon as you would like to do so,” it read. “The way to greater American prosperity is encouraging people to move from lower productivity jobs in the public sector to higher productivity jobs in the private sector.”
The third question posed in the FAQ asked, “Will I really get my full pay and benefits during the entire period through September 30, even if I get a second job?”
“Yes,” the answer read. “You will also accrue further personal leave days, vacation days, etc. and be paid out for unused leave at your final resignation date.”
However, multiple GSA employees have told WIRED that they are refusing to resign, especially after the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) told its members on Tuesday that the offer could be void.
“There is not yet any evidence the administration can or will uphold its end of the bargain, that Congress will go along with this unilateral massive restructuring, or that appropriated funds can be used this way, among other issues that have been raised,” the union said in a notice.
There is also concern that, under Musk’s influence, the federal government might not pay for the duration of the deferred resignation period. Thousands of Twitter employees have sued Musk alleging that he failed to pay their agreed upon severance. Last year, one class action suit was dismissed in Musk’s favor.
In an internal video viewed by WIRED, Ehikian reiterated that GSA employees had the “opportunity to participate in a deferred resignation program,” per the email sent by OPM on January 28. Pressing his hands into the namaste gesture, Ehikian added, “If you choose to participate, I offer you my heartfelt gratitude for your service to this nation. If you choose to stay at the GSA, we’ll work together to implement the four pillars from the OPM memo.” He ended the video by saying thank you and pressing his hands into namaste again.

Fili/Kili, T

The Yule Protocol
Fili was the first to retire.  That was the official story.  He was only in his forties and had plenty of physical strength and mental fortitude to continue his work as an engineer for his uncle’s firm.  But… he saw a problem on the horizon and was more concerned with protecting his family than continuing to quest for material comforts and professional accolades.  His lifelong interest in history led him to see trends in medicine and global emigration that worried him.
Several years before the Covid-19 pandemic, he identified a threat and went to his uncle with the beginning of a plan.  Fortunately, Thorin trusted Fili’s judgment and funded an engineering project that gave his nephew the ability to create a self-sustaining homestead for their large family.
Rather than build a fortified compound somewhere in the mountains, Fili approached a small island community that was fading away from gentrification and loss of interest in traditional craftsmanship.  Gerontius Took, the local elder-in-charge, assigned his grandson, Bilbo Baggins, to be his representative on the project and protect the values of the community.
Together, Fili and Bilbo led a quiet repurchase of island lands and homes from absent owners who only visited in the summer high season.  They carefully recruited people with interests in fishing, farming, blacksmithing, animal husbandry, beekeeping, cheesemaking and dairy products, desalination, woodworking, plumbing and water purification, pottery, fiber arts, soap making, herbalism, composting and other waste management, medicine, and wildlife management.  They also included some high-tech maintenance and security people because the world was what it was and they couldn’t afford to ignore that aspect.
Preference was given to members of the families already living on the island, and Fili was able to fill the rest of their needs with members of his extended family, for the most part.  Within five years, the Tooks, Baggins, Gamgees, Brandybucks, Durins, Ris, and Urs had a functionally self-sufficient community in place.  That’s when Fili officially retired and moved to the island full time.  His husband, Kili, had already been there for several years working on wildlife management.  They had a lovely white and blue house with a view of the ocean and a fishing dock.  They also had a satellite communication and information system that was ostensibly in place to provide internet connectivity to all island residents.  It did that.  It also allowed Fili to work with contacts across the world to follow medical, political, and environmental issues.
After Fili, company employees retired at an unsuspicious rate of one or two a month.
On a beautiful autumn afternoon, with a breeze lifting and tossing his blond curls, Fili sat on the back deck, skyping with Thorin, Dwalin, and Nori on his laptop.  Dwalin fidgeted and shifted in his seat next to Thorin.  Fili knew that trick.  Thorin was holding his head of security back from telling Fili something.   When Kili, who was delayed inside making a pitcher of sweet tea, came out and sat next to Fili, Nori burst out, “It’s starting.”
Thorin glared at the communications expert.  His skill in monitoring remote areas and under-reported news gave him wide latitude to do as he pleased, but Thorin still liked to appear as if he had full control.  They all knew that the genius of Thorin’s organization was letting people pursue what they did well without micromanagement.  They got results.  And results meant contracts and income that kept everyone living comfortably.  So everyone stared at Nori, waiting for him to continue now that he had broken the ice.
“Chatter in security circles says the sudden homeless migration away from the northeast is predicated by a disease devastating their communities that has nothing to do with their living arrangements.”  He took a deep breath and pursed his lips, carefully considering his next words, “Coroners are reporting a troubling number of autopsies showing evidence of an unknown virus.  CDC and USAMRIID are working on the issue.”
“Time for everyone to come home?” Kili asked.  Their whole extended family had residences on the island and the families lived there while most of Thorin’s employees spent workdays on the mainland.  Some of their business simply required in person attention, but they also wanted to avoid creating too much interest in why this one company’s staff were all moving to a secluded location.
Dwalin nodded.  “We need a cover story.”  He turned to his brother-in-law, “Nori, how long do we have.”
“Honestly, the sooner the better.”
“Yule?” Fili suggested.
“Thanksgiving at the latest,” Nori stated with a frown.
“Ok.” Thorin took control of the conversation.  “I’m sure there are already several contingency plans.  Which is best?”
Kili, nodding to himself, suggested, “Harvest Festival.  The last of the late crops are being picked and preserved.  Bring everyone here to help and then throw a big party.  We can even publicize it as a progress milestone.  We just gloss over the fact that no one goes back.”
“The Yule Protocol would work for that,” Dwalin agreed.  He looked to Thorin, “Mind if we put everyone on remote work as a test?”  He made finger quotes as he said the last word.
“Do it.”
“Right,” Fili started, “I need to go talk to Bilbo.  Can y’all continue without me?”
The brunet at his side waved him off, “Go.  I’ll fill you in later.”
They got lucky.  Not one person showed up infected.  No boats loaded with refugees approached their shores.  The island and the company were simply forgotten in the chaos of overwhelmed hospitals, quarantining, media conspiracy theories, and general panic.  Then the radios went silent.  They spent a whole year watching and waiting,  Their lives went on.  They adapted to the isolation and pastoral lifestyle.  The harvest festival became an annual event.
As a second Christmas approached, Fili considered what Kili might like for a gift.  He considered learning how to make a mustache and beard conditioning balm.  He had grown a beard but Kili…. Kili had embraced a bushy mustache.  Fili called it the 70s porn star mustache.  He nodded.  That was good.  And he planned to ask Granny Daisy for her advice that afternoon when he walked into town to pick up bread.
But that was for later.  He wanted to stay in the moment.  He and Kili wandered the beach near their home.  The year before, they received a beautiful black labrador mix puppy for Yule that Kili immediately named Bear.  He made walks along the beach so much more entertaining, bringing them driftwood, bones, a crab once, and floating trash.  He and Kili always carried bags with them, his for trash and Kili’s for fresh seaweed.  Wakame was a regular part of their dinners and they both loved it.  Today however, Bear barked at a bloated mass on the beach, alerting them to danger.
As they approached, Kili said, “Dude, that smells like three day old gamer taint.”
Fili laughed.  Kili was his personal Peter Pan, refusing to grow up.  He kept them both young and fun.
“I don’t want to get too close.”  Kili said and called Bear away.  He turned them all around to head home.  “I’ll walk into town with you and talk about this with the elders.”  Kili headed their wildlife management program, so it nominally fell under his responsibility.  But he wasn’t an expert in marine biology, so he relied on the collective wisdom of the old fishermen.  “Maybe we can make it to Bilbo’s for Tea.”
Fili smiled at the thought, his fierce uncle was all modern businessman but he and the fussy traditional environmentalist had clicked in a way no one could explain.  It didn’t matter, they were happy, and that was all that mattered.
Kili’s radio squawked.  “What is that?”  Dwalin asked from his perch at the top of the lighthouse on the north end of the island.  “It washed up about an hour ago.  I was thinking about sending Nori to look when I saw you.”
“Just another small whale.  Looks like we’ll have plenty for the Yule feast.”  Kili’s stomach rumbled.
“Just make sure you get it harvested fast.  I nearly shit my pants when that big one exploded back in August.”
Ori came in with a mug of tomato soup and a grilled cheese.  He laughed, overhearing the discussion.  “Tell them that Bofur has the wooden crane working and he’s hoisting Took kids to put ornaments on the higher branches.  They can’t miss it.”
Dwalin had keyed the mike as soon as Ori said ‘tell them…’  “Did you get that?” He asked Kili.
“10-4.  We’re headed that way now.”
Flags waved in the distance.  Dori had a lookout station at the South end of the island and used semaphore to communicate with Dwalin just to keep in practice.  They frequently used dirty words for the entertainment of the island teens because it got them to learn the code.  Fili translated and Kili wrote the letters in the sand.
“W… T… F…”  They laughed.
Kili squeezed his send button and asked Dwalin to tell Dori it was a whale.  They both watched the security specialist spell, “Blubbernugget.”
Bilbo served egg salad, cheese, and crab salad sandwiches, gingerbread cookies, and a pot of black tea with milk and honey.  They enjoyed themselves on the front porch overlooking  the town square where children decorated the large tree.  Bofur had a Gamgee teen harnessed to the crane to put a star on the top.  It was quite exciting.
Thorin asked about blubbernugget.  Kili was barely able to breathe around his laughter, so Fili explained that Bear had found another whale and a team was already off to harvest it.
Bilbo was delighted.  “I’d like another chance to try roasting some with rosemary and sage.  I think they would be better than the dill and thyme I used last time.”
“It will probably be available at the butcher tomorrow,  Grab us a roast too, if you get there first?”  Kili finally got himself together enough to talk.  “It’s too old for sushi, but maybe if someone caught me a fresh…”. His voice tapered off as he stared at Dori’s position.
Flags waving again, the letters signaled, “B… O… A… T…”

I have no idea what to call this but I wrote it a while ago and only just tweaked it. A Torchwood/Sarah jane(kinda)/quantum leap mash up. Oh yeah. I don't ~cross, I ~mash 🤣
Thank you @sometimesraven for leading me to dig this up, go read their Torchwood/quantum goodness - it's much better than mine 💜
A private jet with Ians entire life inside, waited for them to board. This wasn't how they expected to be spending this half of the year.
After finding out Addison had met with Ben, and the pair had decided to stay together, knowing they could do a lot of good together, working through missions, righting all those wrongs for the rest of time... The Quantum Leap Project had been officially closed down, and Ian was flying to the UK, London, courtsy of Captain Jack Harkness, an old friend they'd helped remotely with the previous Torchwood head quarters operating systems after losing their employee.
The city of Ealing was a rather specific location for the Captain to be calling from, but his make shift warehouse was on the back streets that appeared to have a higher demand for alien control than most in the larger areas of London.
The jet, branded only with the word "UNIT" across its body, had allowed Ian to bypass all the usual airport nightmares, which was something they were endlessly thankful for. They felt as though they were one stressful situation away from a lengthy stay in a straight jacket.
The flight was long, but strangely, the most realxing thing they've done in years. They had all the freedom in the world right now, but that was also a very lonely place to be. They only had the minor issue of not actually knowing what was waiting for them on the other side of this plane ride. Ian had trusted Jack blindly, and not for the first time in the years they'd known eachother.
The small, incredibly important things they'd gathered in their young life, the closest things to them, were all in the backpack on their back. The little gifts from once close friends, Crystals, just things that held a lot of meaning. Not to meantion a very small but mighty chip that held the whole of the Quantum processing program and the super powerful AI known as Ziggy.
"I get an airport escort, now? I've truely made it." They chuckled as they hugged the Captain. It had been so long since they saw him.
"Doctor Ian wright." The captains voice echoed around the otherwise empty airport lounge, and Ian couldn't hold back the smile that voice brought to their lips.
Tumblr media
"I'm sorry to hear about the project being shut down"
"Thank you... I... heard you've had a pretty rough run of things, too?"
"...Yeah. Just me, Gwen and Rhys now. We do what we can, but I gotta admit... We're struggling. We could use your help, Doctor."
Ian smiled and glanced down for a moment "I'm not sure if alien life is my particular corner of expertise in the vast universe, but if I can help, I'm willing to learn."
Jacks warehouse was dark and damp, the power flickered in and out, and nothing here was... Even remotely the standard they'd come to know from the their own Head Quarters. Tables of tech that looked like it had been pulled from wreckages, the occasional bleep from something amongst everything that was laid out that run through the middle of the vast, depressing space. There was one computer monitor left functioning, and various pieces of lit up tech around it that was keeping it going. It was so old, it was almost Steam punk-esque.
Tumblr media
"This is everything we've collected over the years since Miracle Day. It's not much but with the right mind, it could be.. something?" Jack looked at Ian with the softest blue eyes. He hadn't been this desperate for a long time, and Ian could say they felt the same way.
"I'll see what I can do....." They moved their way down the tech table with a sigh, their fingers brushing across the long dead pieces of technology. Ian could tell, they were once beautiful pieces.
"That's a Jadoon gun." Jack said with a chuckle and Ian pulled their hand back like it was going to explode. The Captain laughed, shaking his head, he came to stand behind Ian, reaching round to pick up the gun and aiming it at the wall.
"Vibrational target lock... Sends the smallest little shiver of vibration along your arm when you've locked onto the target. Give it a try..." He guided their hand up and over his on the gun before slowly turning the dial on the side until it shot a bolt of tingling into both of their arms, hitting all of those tender little nerves under the skin in a rather pleasent fashion as it blew a hefty hole in wall.
"Rude." Jack smirked.
"Oh." Ian cleared their throat "Arm-gasm gun?" They quickly let out a burst of laughter with a glance back at Jack before once again, pulling thier hand back... It was kinda nice to feel a smouldering little tension with someone again. It was always like this with Jack. Glancing down and shuffling a little on the spot with a smile they couldn't hide. "I should have known you'd collect the kinky stuff."
Tumblr media
Ian's gentle caress across the unbelievable items soon came across a gold tube next to a watch, picking it up and carefully unclipping the lid -
Tumblr media
"No, no, that's good.... It's a sonic lipstick."
"Lipstick?" They asked, before they realised that the tip faded in and out of glowing. Jack snapped a look over. "Ohhhhh , it hasn't done that in a while." to which there was a slight look of terror that flashed into Ian's features.
"A lipstick that... sonicly.... does what?" They asked with a raised eyebrow.
"It can disurpt the molecular scruture of pretty much any organic material, interfere with eletronic signals... there isn't much that baby can't do. We thought it was long gone, programmed to the DNA of the previous owner or...." Jack trailed off and sighed and looked.. devastated, for a moment.
"She would have loved you." He whispered -
"- Who?"
"Now that's a whole story.... She saved the world.... a lot." He huffed out the sadest of smiles. Ian was about to put the lid back on and return it to the table before Jacks hand stoppped them. "Keep it." He said softly "Please. The watch, too. "
"Jack....."
"Please. Her name was Sarah Jane Smith. She travelled with The Doctor, until... She didn't. She carried on her work from her attic and created a... Ah.... AH HA!" Jack suddenly came to life, springing from his spot next to Ian to the other side of the room where he'd chucked his jacket over a chair.
"Come on, lets go!" He called as he run for the door. Ian grabbed the lipstick and the watch and headed out after the Captain, back into the black SUV they'd arrived in, and onto the road.
Not ten minutes later they were pulling into a tiny, now over grown driveway outside a large house in the middle of a street, Jack not even taking a second to explain before he was out of the car again and standing by the door, Ian hot on his heels.
"Just point and shoot." Jack laughed as they came up to the door, giving Ian another of the famous Captain Jack smirks as he pointed to the pocket Ian had slipped that Sonic into.
Complying with a smirk, Ian uncapped the lipstick and pointed it at the door, awkwardly using the other hand to press the button on the bottom. One press, and it sparked a little, making them both jump. Second press, and it lit up for a little longer, and on the third, the shrill noise of the sonic doing sonic things filled the air, the lock on the door clicking open.
"Holy sonic. It worked." They laughed softly.
"Told ya it was awesome." Jack said, barging in like he owned the place, as usual, coat flapping behind him in usual fashion.
The rooms, although a little dusty, were still beautifully decorated and preserved, the books on the shelves, the comfy sofa in the living room, it was all still right there as the Captain remembered.
"What happened to her? Aliens?" Ian asked gently, and Jack smiled at their considerate nature
"She was too good for that." he said with a thoughtful glance. "Cancer." He followed up, he never found death to be an easy subject, he doubted anyone did, but for him, as an immortal being... It stung. For all of his downfalls as a 51st century human, he was still able to form meaningful connections... somehow.
"Shit. I'm sorry." Ian sighed and reached for the Captains hand to comfort him.
"Everything she saw, everything she faced... Going out that way was ... "
"Unfairly Human."
"Yeah... It's cruel. talk about 'no good deed ever goes unpunished'." The thoughtful look of utter sadness on his face was evident as he sat on the edge of the sofa, Ian sitting beside him.
"I lost everyone too... My two closest friends... The team.. My partner... We were like family.. I'm starting to think this life of chasing the extraordinary is a lonely one."
Ian was fiddling idly with the sonic in their hand as they spoke, Jack nodding in agreement sadly with a sigh. "This place..." He started "is owned by UNIT, it's ours if we need it."
"It's... great but... it's just a house..."
"Ah! That's where you're wrong, Doctor...." Jack stood up, holding out his hand to them with a smile "Come with me"
"- That's literally all I've been doing since I arrived, Captain."
"The sass!." He laughed as he lead them up the stairs by that hand he hadn't let go of
"Y'know, usually when heading this way in a house, the mood is a little different."
"Captain!" Ian laughed as Jack pushed open the door to the attic after by passing the bedrooms for another set of stairs.
This room, unlike the normal looking house, was full of unknown objects, not used in years, full of dust and potential.
"Mr Smith?" Jack said out loud to a brick wall full of pictures an post it notes. This place.... It was once full of so much life that the spirit buzzed to life around them both at hearing a voice.
The brick wall that Jack had adressed sparked just from between the cement a little.
"Mr smith! We need you, baby!" Jack said joyfully, just remembering the words of a dear friend, with added Jackness. The wall opened silently, no fanfare, no noise, bar the pistons that powered the doors that revealed a console and a sceen that swirled with colours.
"Whoa." Ian softly chanted, over and over, as they bounced a little closer, taking in the tech they'd never seen before. "You are.... ~beautiful." They beamed, face inches from the screen.
"Welcome home, Captain Jack." A deep voice came from the computer as Jack gave Ian the most head tilted look in creation.
"Doc, This is The Ziloc, a super computer created from a alien crystal formed below the earths crust. Sarah Jane took the technology and formed it into a system to help her detect alien life, This is Mr Smith." He turned back the computer screen with a nod
"Mr Smith, this is Doctor Ian Wright, one of the worlds leading minds in Quantum Physics and computer coding and programming."
"Nice to meet you, Doctor." Mr Smith said in his usual warm tone, Ian was still more than a little flattered by that introduction.
"I must inform you, nearly all of my protocols and stored intelligence was wiped before I was put into standby for security purposes... I would be little help to either of you in my current state of being."
Ian smiled as they dropped their backpack to the floor and pulled it open, digging around inside until they pluncked out a small case, which was unlocked by a number on the side to reveal a chip, no bigger than a USB stick
"Mr Smith... How would like to meet Ziggy?"

Why Your Business Needs a Reliable Payout Solution ?
Tumblr media
In today’s digital economy, businesses are increasingly relying on Payout Solutions to streamline their payment processes, reduce operational costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Whether you're in the utility sector, e-commerce, or finance, a reliable payout solution can help you meet customer expectations, manage finances more effectively, and ensure the timely delivery of services. This is particularly true when dealing with large-scale disbursements, such as vendor payments, employee salaries, refunds, or commissions.
Here’s why every business needs a dependable payout solution, and how it can transform operations across different industries like utilities, fintech, and more.
1. Efficiency in Payment Processing
One of the most significant reasons businesses need a Payout Solution is the efficiency it brings to the payment process. Manual or traditional payment methods—such as issuing checks or wire transfers—can be slow, prone to errors, and difficult to track. The complexity increases when businesses need to make multiple payments across different regions or countries, each with different payment regulations and methods.
With a Payout Solution, businesses can automate and streamline their entire payment workflow. Payments are processed instantly, reducing the need for manual intervention. For example, in sectors like utilities, where bills are paid on a recurring basis, a Utility Payment Solution integrated with payout functionality allows businesses to automate transactions, ensuring bills are paid on time without human error or delay.
Businesses that use a payout solution can process payments to employees, suppliers, and contractors quickly, allowing them to focus on core operations rather than managing complex financial tasks.
2. Enhanced Security and Fraud Prevention
When it comes to financial transactions, security is paramount. Traditional payment methods often rely on outdated or insecure systems that can leave businesses vulnerable to fraud and cyberattacks. A Payout Solution that incorporates state-of-the-art security measures such as encryption, tokenization, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) ensures that payments are processed securely and that sensitive information is protected from unauthorized access.
By using secure systems for payout processing, businesses not only reduce the risk of fraud but also build trust with their clients, employees, and partners. For instance, a Micro ATM network can use secure payout solutions to disburse funds at remote locations, ensuring customer transactions are protected and data integrity is maintained.
With Fintech Services driving innovation in the payout sector, businesses can access even more advanced security features to ensure that every transaction is protected from end to end.
3. Real-Time Tracking and Transparency
One of the key benefits of a reliable Payout Solution is the ability to track payments in real-time. Businesses no longer need to wait for payment confirmations or deal with delayed processing times. Real-time tracking provides transparency for both businesses and customers, allowing them to monitor the status of payouts from initiation to completion.
For example, a business using a Utility Payment Solution can offer customers the ability to track their bill payments in real-time, receiving immediate updates when a payment is processed. Similarly, employees or contractors receiving their payments can immediately confirm that their salary or commission payout has been credited.
With enhanced tracking, businesses can reduce disputes and ensure that payments are made accurately, on time, and without discrepancies.
4. Cost Savings and Operational Efficiency
The administrative costs associated with manual payment processes—such as paper checks, bank fees, and delays—can quickly add up. Businesses must invest in physical infrastructure, banking fees, and labor to handle payments manually. A Payout Solution eliminates many of these costs, enabling businesses to streamline operations and reduce overhead expenses.
For instance, using a Micro ATM for remote payout disbursements or setting up automated payroll systems reduces the need for in-person interaction and manual payment processing. Solution services like these not only save money on administrative tasks but also make operations more efficient.
Moreover, automated systems often come with built-in analytics and reporting tools, helping businesses track payment trends, expenses, and budgeting in real time. This data can be used to make informed decisions that can save money and improve financial forecasting.
5. Improved Customer Satisfaction
Customer experience is one of the most crucial factors that influence business success. A slow or error-prone payment system can result in dissatisfied customers, complaints, or even lost business. With a reliable Payout Solution, businesses can ensure that payments are processed quickly and correctly, reducing the likelihood of service disruptions or dissatisfaction.
In the context of utility payments, for instance, customers who pay their bills through an automated utility payment system are more likely to appreciate the convenience of instant payment processing and notifications. This leads to improved customer satisfaction and higher rates of on-time payments.
Similarly, a fast and reliable Payout Solution can enhance the overall experience for employees, contractors, or customers receiving payouts. Timely and accurate disbursements build trust and foster loyalty.
6. Scalability and Flexibility
As businesses grow, so does the complexity of managing payments. A reliable Payout Solution can scale to meet the needs of growing companies. Whether you need to process a few payments a month or thousands, payout solutions can be easily customized to handle any volume of transactions.
For instance, businesses that deal with international payments can use Fintech Services that allow for seamless cross-border transactions, enabling payments in multiple currencies. This scalability ensures that businesses are not limited by their payment systems and can expand without worrying about payment processing delays or inefficiencies.
7. Integration with Other Business Systems
Another major advantage of a Payout Solution is its ability to integrate with other business systems, such as accounting software, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. These integrations ensure that payment data is synchronized across all systems, reducing the risk of errors and streamlining financial management.
For example, a business using a Utility Payment Solution can automatically update its accounting software once payments are made, ensuring that financial records are always accurate and up to date. Similarly, payroll systems can integrate with payout solutions to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time.
Conclusion
A reliable payout solution is no longer a luxury for businesses but a necessity in today’s competitive environment. By improving efficiency, enhancing security, reducing costs, and providing better customer experiences, businesses can stay ahead of the curve. Whether in the utility sector with Utility Payment Solutions, or in fintech with Fintech Services, adopting an effective payout solution is critical for success.
Companies like Xettle Technologies are leading the way by offering innovative and customizable payout solutions that help businesses streamline their payment processes while improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. With the right payout solution in place, businesses can improve their bottom line, reduce operational risks, and keep their customers happy.

How to check if your computer is being monitored
In today's digital age, the issue of privacy and security is more pressing than ever. Whether you’re a casual user or a professional, understanding if your computer is being monitored is crucial. This guide will delve into the signs of monitoring, tools to detect it, and steps to safeguard your privacy.
Tumblr media
Understanding Computer Monitoring
Before diving into the signs and detection methods, it’s essential to understand what computer monitoring entails. Monitoring can involve tracking your online activity, keystrokes, file access, and even webcam usage. This can be done by malicious software (malware), spyware, or legitimate monitoring software used by employers or parents.
Types of Monitoring
Malware and Spyware: These are malicious programs that can be installed without your knowledge. They can track your activities and send data back to an attacker.
Keyloggers: This type of software records keystrokes, capturing sensitive information like passwords and personal messages.
Remote Access Tools (RATs): These tools allow someone to control your computer remotely, monitoring your screen, accessing files, and even using your webcam.
Legitimate Monitoring Software: Often used in corporate environments, this software tracks employee activity for productivity or compliance reasons. While legal, it can still infringe on personal privacy.
Signs That Your Computer May Be Monitored
Recognizing the signs that your computer might be monitored is the first step in protecting yourself.
1. Unusual System Behavior
Slow Performance: If your computer suddenly becomes sluggish, it might be due to monitoring software consuming resources.
Frequent Crashes or Freezes: Unexpected system crashes can indicate underlying issues, including malware.
2. Suspicious Programs
Unknown Applications: Check your installed programs for any unfamiliar applications. Many monitoring tools disguise themselves as legitimate software.
High Resource Usage: Use the Task Manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor (Mac) to look for processes consuming excessive CPU or memory.
3. Network Activity
Unexplained Network Traffic: Use network monitoring tools to check for unusual data being sent or received. High outbound traffic could indicate that data is being transmitted without your consent.
Blocked Ports: Monitoring software often uses specific ports to communicate. If you notice blocked ports that you didn’t configure, it could be a red flag.
4. Webcam and Microphone Behavior
Indicator Light Activation: If your webcam or microphone is being accessed without your knowledge, the indicator light may be on even when you're not using it.
Unexpected Recordings: Check for unusual files that could be recordings made by your microphone or webcam.
5. Browser Behavior
Unusual Browser Extensions: Check for extensions you didn’t install. Some can track your browsing activity.
Unexpected Redirects: Frequent redirects to strange sites or altered search results can indicate tracking.
6. Security Alerts
Antivirus Notifications: If your antivirus software frequently alerts you about threats, it may indicate that monitoring software is present.
Firewall Alerts: Unusual outgoing connection attempts can suggest that an unauthorized program is trying to access the internet.
Tools to Detect Monitoring Software
If you suspect that your computer is being monitored, several tools can help you investigate further.
1. Antivirus and Anti-Malware Software
Using a reliable antivirus or anti-malware program can help detect and remove malicious software. Some popular options include:

Why are it not elections in Russia, but a farce? The hammer will not stop Noon against Putin.
You are watching news from the weekly rally at the Russian Embassy in Lisbon. Today is March 16, 14:30.
Pseudo-elections began in Russia on Friday. In the telegram channel "Elections, TSYK to everyone!" They are already publishing evidences of falsifications. Among them: forced voting, agitation at polling stations, stuffing of stacks of ballots and pens with disappearing ink. https://t.me/cikrf
On March 12, Deutsche Welle published a large review of experts’ complaints about the remote electronic voting system. https://www.dw.com/ru/vybory-prezidenta-v-rf-cto-ne-tak-s-dosrocnym-i-elektronnym-golosovaniem/a-68501624
Year after year, the level of election fraud in Russia is growing. The authorities kill and imprison opponents, took control of the media, political parties and force state employees to vote as needed. Russian presidential elections are held in the occupied territories of Ukraine. In addition, the election monitoring system was practically destroyed. The co-chairman of the “Voice” movement, Stanislav Andreychuk, published a memo that came to them for observers from public chambers. It instructs “observers” to report to the police if there are crowds of people near polling stations on Sunday at noon. https://t.me/sandreychuk/463
The French association "Russie-Libertes" provides an excellent example of the contribution of activists into the fight against the regime. Thanks to their work, this week several deputy mayors of Paris supported the call for non-recognition of Vladimir Putin as the legally elected president of the Russian Federation after these “elections.” https://t.me/RussianAntiWarCommittee/1246
On March 12, in a village near Vilnius, an attempt was made on the life of Leonid Volkov, an ally of the recently murdered Alexei Navalny. The attack was carried out near the house where Leonid lives, using a meat hammer. Fortunately, the politician managed to escape by kicking using the leg and the car door, but he suffered a broken arm and multiple injuries. https://www.bbc.com/russian/articles/cn4l13v877lo
At that time, Leonid was returning from recording a video in support of the “Noon Against Putin” protest. In the video, he called on everyone to campaign and explain that if you come to the polling station at 12 o’clock, our voices will sound in unison and it will resonate throughout the world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVk1BgqA3W0
The wife of the mobilized person, Maria Andreeva, published a warning from the prosecutor’s office on her Telegram channel, in which coming to the polling stations on March 17 at 12 o’clock is called illegal actions. https://t.me/mobilizpravda/293 But she still declares that she will come on Sunday in the middle of the day.
Unfortunately, a superhero cannot defeat the criminal Putin regime and stop the war, so the activity of each of you is important. Promote and help. At least post a photo of your watch at noon. https://poldenprotivputina.org/anti-putin-noon/
We remind you that the friendly fund Help to Ukraine continues to raise money for a generator for the Sitenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology. https://www.facebook.com/AjudaAUcrania/posts/pfbid02o2Brh5zwMjxKjbwrVC8T2uqfXKsRKM8YEWqdhpEarU8eqnv9y9VCQmty9sZbRyVal
And there is also the last push before the closing of the collection for uniforms for volunteers of the Siberian Battalion, which is carried out by the Civic Council and Freedom Birds For Ukraine. https://www.paypal.com/donate?campaign_id=AM4ZXM6XQXBPU

Armored Core Verse
World: Karakoram 3b Catalog Number: ISB0373 Type: terrestrial moon, mountainous Climate: varied, glacial or subtropical Population: 49 million Satellites: n/a Notable Features: space elevator
A habitable world only fractionally less massive than Earth, Karakoram 3b is the second moon orbiting a Saturn-like gas giant on the outer edge of its system’s habitable zone. Tidally locked like most moons and kept in an eccentric orbit by Laplace resonance with the planet’s other satellites, it experiences significant tidal heating and lithosphere compression, with the result being an extremely mountainous surface regularly dotted by volcanoes. The moon has low surface water coverage, though this is not the result of any scarcity—rather, its mountainous terrain hosts massive glaciers which lock up most of its water reserves. What seas and large lakes there are boast surprisingly warm climes, as do most lowland valleys, all heated by ubiquitous geothermal activity. The world is a study in extremes, with ice above and steam and sometimes even fire below.
Most of the arable land hosts subtropical conditions with hot and humid summers and extremely mild but wet winters, as the planet’s temperature is regulated more by geological processes than stellar flux. That same tectonic activity has resulted in rich and easily accessed mineral resources from deep below the crust, which recommended the moon for colonization above and beyond even its quixotic habitability. Dominated by regional extractive mining concerns with all the attendant ‘company town’ developments one might expect, it functions both as a minor industrial hub in and of itself, and a major exporter of rare minerals to the nearby Seiko system, on account of Seiko 4’s restrictive policies on mining and the comparatively more expensive mining operations on other celestial bodies there. Civil unrest and armed worker strikes are commonplace.
Name: Desmond E. Hayden Augmentation: Generation Eight Occupation: mercenary Affiliation: independent Registration Number: Kr222 Callsign: Liberator Armored Core: Triple Deuce
Karakoram 3b is divided by its inhabitants into two hemispheres depending on what dominates the sky: strandside where the space elevator is more visible, and planetside where Karakoram 3 is more visible. Planetside is rather more remote and wild, with various mining companies possessing more and more control the deeper one ventures. Brigandry is kept in check by both local corporate forces and the Karakoram Elevator Authority's Line Monitors, with the former also regularly suppressing wildcat mining in their zones of control. Some independent settlements do nonetheless exist, and worker strikes in this hemisphere will often attempt to hire the services of their residents in resisting corporate security when contract negotiations break down.
The son of miners who came to Karakoram 3b hoping to make their fortune and move on, Hayden grew up under the total oversight of the Masterson Materials, Metals, and Minerals Corporation (4MC), which occupied an area of higher elevation (and thus more temperate) valleys. Unsurprisingly, his parents never actually made it big. After coming of age, Hayden decided to enter the company's services as a security officer rather than as a miner, thinking the work more in line with his disposition. 4MC had actually been fairly equitable throughout his life, and his activities were indeed focused almost exclusively against external threats for several years, but all things come to an end. When 4MC's workers finally did go on strike, Hayden was among those ordered to break it with extreme prejudice by a management which perceived its employees as thankless. He balked and defected with his Muscle Tracer.
The situation continued to escalate toward the precipice of violence when, sensing an opportunity, a rival company—Geological Exploitation Technologies (GET)—attacked both sides in force. In the ensuing chaos, Hayden attempted to lead local surviving miners to one of the independent settlements. Few made it. He operated from that location thereafter, alternately serving as hired muscle and taking vigilante action against GET as an act of retribution. Gradually pooling the funds for an AC, his patience was rewarded when he participated in GET's eventual demise and subsumption by surrounding companies, as had happened to 4MC. With nothing left for him locally, he finally went strandside, and from there off-world and out-system. Spending the remainder of his profits on Generation Eight human augmentation surgery, he has since worked as an independent mercenary.
Tumblr media
Triple Deuce is a medium weight AC, excelling at mid-range combat and closing the distance to eliminate any threat. It's an honest AC with little gimmicks, with a plasma launcher and missile pods to maintain pressure it boasts one of the best Missile Targeting Systems on the market. With it's assault rifle and laser blade, it's a capable AC but in the hands of an experienced Pilot an absolute menace.
The tell-tale mark of the AC is the triple two playing cards displayed on it's right shoulder.

Empowering Lone Workers: The Role of Lone Worker Training
In various industries, lone workers face unique challenges and risks as they perform their duties in isolation. These workers, such as security guards, field researchers, and maintenance personnel, often find themselves in situations where they are the only person on-site, which can expose them to potential hazards. To ensure their safety and well-being, comprehensive lone worker training is crucial. In this article, we'll delve into the importance of lone worker training and its role in promoting safety and preparedness.
Understanding Lone Workers
Lone workers are individuals who perform their job duties without direct supervision or immediate assistance from colleagues. Their tasks can range from conducting site inspections in remote locations to working late-night shifts as security guards. The absence of immediate support can leave them vulnerable to accidents, injuries, or emergency situations.
The Significance of Lone Worker Training
Risk Awareness: Lone worker training begins by raising awareness of the potential risks and hazards associated with the specific job. Workers learn to identify and assess these risks, enabling them to make informed decisions to protect themselves.
Emergency Response: Preparedness for emergencies is a cornerstone of lone worker training. Workers are trained in emergency response protocols, including first aid, CPR, and how to handle critical situations until help arrives.
Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial for lone workers. They are taught how to maintain regular check-ins with a central monitoring system or designated contacts. This ensures that their status and safety are monitored, even when working alone.
Use of Technology: Lone worker training often involves instruction on the use of technology, such as personal alarms, mobile apps, or wearable devices. These tools can be essential for summoning help in emergencies.
Conflict Resolution: For roles that involve interactions with the public, lone worker training includes conflict resolution techniques. This helps workers de-escalate situations to avoid confrontations or harm.
Customized Training Programs
Lone worker training is not one-size-fits-all. It should be tailored to the specific job roles and hazards encountered by each worker. For example, the training needs of a forestry worker in a remote area differ from those of a security guard in a crowded urban space. Customized programs ensure that workers receive relevant and effective training.
Legal Requirements and Employer Responsibility
In many regions, employers are legally obligated to provide adequate training and support to protect the safety of lone workers. Failure to do so can result in legal consequences and reputational damage. Employers should take this responsibility seriously and invest in comprehensive training programs to safeguard their employees.
In conclusion, lone worker training is a vital component of ensuring the safety and well-being of those who work in isolation. It equips them with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to identify and mitigate risks, respond to emergencies, and communicate effectively. By prioritizing comprehensive lone worker training, employers demonstrate their commitment to the safety and security of their workforce. https://nntc.org.uk/lone-worker-training/
