first day of classes post-exams and already got hit with two projects to do! not fun

what IS fun is that the school is holding a costume day on the 27th and 28th! first theme is saints and angels, to which i already have a plan on how im doing that 👀 and the second is united nations! not sure how to do that though

you ever be hanging out with your adult boyfriend who you live with and pay a mortgage with and y’all get so bored and so tired of asking each other “what do you wanna do” and not having the energy/time/money to do things constantly and video games and movies and shows and youtube videos are making y’all feel more distanced than ever like the only way to connect with another human sometimes is through a screen bc despite going on walks and hikes and sitting outside on the deck you built and playing with the dog and personal hobbies, it still feels like the primary default is making you tired and self-isolating, so you start wondering what other people do to hang out, what you did as teens to hang out, what do you did as kids to hang out, and are suddenly prompted to go to walmart and stand in the toys section for 30 mins only to agree $25 each is a good amount and come home with barbie’s and teck decks and bionicles??? go get whatever toys you wished they had when you were little. indulge in your inner child’s deepest desire. buy a barbie (and some accessories while your at it). do not feel ashamed. this shit is lit.
