Imagine being in the Maitland-Deetz house. You’re there frequently enough to have gotten used to the family and their unique dynamic as well as their resident demon, Beetlejuice. Now, Beetlejuice is the most perplexing of the group namely because he flirts relentlessly with every adult, overshares his bizarre sexual exploits, and has no shame when it comes to kissing/pinching/groping any adult in the house all of this includes you. You’ve been patient with Beetlejuice this whole time, if you want to be friends with the Maitland-Deetz’s he comes with the package and he’s actually very funny and sweet underneath it all. Truly though, what’s the most puzzling seems to be that all the members of the house imply that Beetlejuice may have some sort of a crush on you which is ridiculous. No matter how much they imply you’re “special” to him, you quite simply can’t see it. You’ve watch Beetlejuice over the months and he’s made it abundantly clear how powerful he truly is. Beetlejuice can shape reality to fit his desires. He’s created his own clones quite simply for the sake of mischief (and perhaps companionship). What’s stopping him from going down to the local cemetery to do some body part shopping alongside his own unique reality shifting and cobbling together his own perfect partner?

Why bother settling for a “breather” at all?
