No New Tumblr Tuesday and Webcomic Wednesday This Week ☹️

Any of you who follow my page might've noticed, that is if you actually did, that I haven't posted anything for Tumblr Tuesday or Webcomic Wednesday as I normally do. The reason for that is because whenever I upload an image onto Tumblr, it doesn't show up in the tags. I've contacted the Tumblr Help Center about this, (About my Tumblr Tuesday post, at least.) and they haven't exactly rectified the issue. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they attempted to, even though I waited several hours for any luck in them making sure my image was visible to the public, but it wasn't the case. So now, I might have to wait until next week to try posting these images again. Hopefully I'll have better luck then. So, I apologize for any inconvenience that I may have caused. I also hope that I do not encounter this problem on Friday AKA Fan Art Friday. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏻 Anyway, please enjoy the rest of your week!

what i love about james cameron, is how in avatar 2, he put in titanic references! i loved that! the avatar films do take a long time don't they? 😂 because the first one was in 2009 and the second in 2022 - which is like 13 years - something to do with perfecting the cgi, right? that's so cool tho.

oh shit there's drama? is it like those trolls who cause shit because the fandom ages up characters or something? cause i've seen a lot of those in the peter parker/spider-man fandom. cause if that's the case... they literally need to go outside and touch some grass. i'm so glad you didn't have to deal with that shit too much. that's actually so disappointing tho, because this is a safe place to escape to and get a break from the outside world! like these people need to go focus on actual real world issues that's actually going on and not focus on literal fiction 🤦🏻‍♀️

It really is but I'm still angry about it so I'm gonna tell you anyway lolll (Below the cut at the end)

James Cameron is one of my favorite people!! He's so creative and such an inspiration when it comes creativity and storytelling cause Titanic has always been one of my favorite movies too (and that he was a part of creating Aliens and Alita: Battle Angel). But also how much he's contributed as a whole in terms of newer tech is so crazy. I'm like 99% confident that he helped develop his own submarine that he uses to deep sea dive and he pilots it himself, plus all the underwater filmmaking tech that he created and helped develop to film underwater scenes. He's just a genuinely cool dude.

(Except when he's killing off my favorite character in Avatar 2. That wasn't cool 😭)

Yessssss that's exactly what the drama is! I'm so glad you get it cause I'm so tired about hearing the same argument over and over and over again. Just let people read and write what they want - it's all fiction anyway. It's not real. People are responsible for their own media consumption. Writers can write what they want as long as they have the appropriate tags on it. If someone reads the tags and still reads or interacts anyway, that's on them. Use the block button if you don't like something 🤷🏻‍♀️

Eeeeee I have written for him actually! I think I have 2 fics out for him and I have a few ideas still waiting to be written. My tumblr is @tallulah477. My fics for Avatar are usually shorter than the ones I've been posting here for TBOSAS and BTK tho just so you know. I can also give you other recs/accounts that write for him if you're interested.

It was my mom's birthday last weekend and I wasn't able to go visit her. My stepdad's brother and his wife went up there for the long weekend though which is both fine and bad cause my mom adores her sister-in-law but my stepdad's brother is also a POS (everyone in their family is tbh) so having them over always drains her. Plus they always bring their two dogs which I think is very unfair because (1) my mom doesn't really like dogs and these ones are super rowdy and annoying (i like dogs don't, get me wrong, but...yikes), (2) my mom has two cats so they have to stay in her bedroom while the dogs get to run free which I think also isn't very fair, and (3) the dogs always end up using the bathroom inside the house every. single. time. and my mom is the one who ends up having to clean it. So they're there and she has to play "host". The brothers spent the whole weekend making jokes and comments at their wives expenses (you know, like assholes) and they didn't do anything special for her birthday. She had to tend to my stepdad and his family the entire weekend. Naturally, she was exhausted when they left and that same day my stepdad was already on her to clean the house. Like, fuck off.

AND THEN my mom has a special set up in her basement for the cats with tons of toys and shelves and other stuff that she made for them to play with or on. Apparently while my mom and her sister-in-law were out, someone let the dogs down in the basement and they marked their territory all over everything (if you get what I mean). Both methods of "marking their territory" were used and not a single thing down there was left un-destroyed or un-marked. She was furious and when she tried to rant about it to my stepdad, this motherfucker gets angry that she's "shit talking" his family and says "you better shut your mouth unless you want to start a fight". So she couldn't even be upset about it. And no, he didn't help clean it up.

This man has a death wish, I swear.

💘Is there any posted fic you want to rework/re-edit/re-write?

Yes, I have 2 fics I would actually want to rework on; the Teen Pregnancy AU and the first fic I have ever posted on AO3 😭

For "i'll kidnap all the stars and i will keep them in your eyes", I wish my chapters were more lengthy, consistent and had more development. I'm planning to re-edit it some day, and try to make it better. Fingers crossed it will happen 🤞🏻

And for "sweetest devotion", my first fic ever in English, oh God it was disaster! Like SEND HELP tbh. Not gonna lie, a few times I thought about deleting it, but since AO3 is an archive, well I decided to let it there in the end. But I think it need to be rewritten and polished a lot. I think now switching from baby!Joanna POV to Jaime POV and back to baby!Joanna was a bad idea (I don't do that anymore). Also chosing to write the thoughts from a 4 years old little girl who was a blank canvas was more of a challenge and a struggle for a first fic in my non-native language than anything else.

🌿how does creating make you feel?

Def better, and alive. I struggle a lot with depression, and I often feel empty, but when I write (or make gifsets), I use it as an outlet to make me feel like I have some kind of purpose, if that makes sense? Like, I know some of my creations will make people happy, so it brings me joy to read the tags or the comments people leave. It's an exchange between people in the fandom, and I love it.

🎈describe your style as a writer; is it fixed? does it change?

Ouch, the one question I was scared to get because I'm not sure how to describe my writing style 😅 I think it has evolved for the better, but it's pretty much fixed. I have some sentences I overuse like "a smile bloomed on her/his face", "her/his eyes flickered wide open", "tangled together", etc... I wish I could get better at description, but I fear my lack of vocabulary because I'm French is showing. I try to be poetic (I love reading poems while I'm scrolling Tumblr, and I save my faves [+ fave quotes] in a file on google docs), and I focus a lot on the characters' psychology. What they think, what they fear... I try to capture the struggles of human emotions. Yes, I think that would be my writing style.

💞what's the most important part of a story for you? the plot, the characters, the worldbuilding, the technical stuff (grammar etc), the figurative language

Hands down the characters. And the technical stuff, because I want my fics to be readable, I'm not sure if I'm the best because ✨ French ✨ but I'm trying. I spend a lot of time making sure the words I use are properly spelled, and making sure it's the right meaning I want to convey. As for the characters, as I said above, I'm focusing a lot on the psychology so, it def comes first.

🕯️was there a fic that was really hard on you to write, or took you to a place you didn't think it would take you?

Oh, def "grieving for the living". Killing Jaime while Cersei was still living was such a struggle. I was in such a bad place mentally because of work, and I had to convey all those emotions of loss, grief, tragedy, with a glint of hope toward the end, on the paper. I'm lowkey even impressed I could actually finish to write that fic. Yes, that fic was really hard to write, but I'm pretty proud of it 🤧

with loud music bouncing off the walls of the practice room, riki danced, watching his reflection in the mirror. however, he wasn’t able to concentrate to the best of his abilities, because you were sitting in front of him, back against the mirror as you watched him dance with a proud smile filled with admiration. 

just you alone being there in his view made it hard for him to focus. maybe it was your beauty or maybe it was just that you being there was different that caused him to lose concentration. whatever it was, it wasn’t helping. 

and then he realized you were wearing his t-shirt. 

being already baggy on him made it look like you were practically drowning in his top, but you weren’t complaining. being enveloped in the soft fabric with your boyfriend’s scent was a type of comfort in a way for you. 

and little did you know, seeing you in his own clothes was also a comfort to riki. 

when he finally noticed it, he looked at you with adoration in his eyes and a wide, goofy smile and walked towards you with his hand extended in your direction. 

you took it and he pulled you up, turning you around to face the mirror with him before he embraced you from behind with still a large and happy grin. 

after a couple seconds of admiring you in the mirror in his shirt, he left a kiss to the side of your head, completely and utterly in love with you. and when he pulled back, he just continued to squeeze you tighter, loving the way you looked, especially in that moment. 

but soon, an idea popped into his head, and he quickly pulled back and ran to the other side of the room, leaving you shocked and confused. your eyes followed him, only to realize the hoodie that was now in his hands. it was his. and he carried it proudly with a toothy smirk. 

he walked towards you, and didn’t waste any time in pulling it over your head, causing you to giggle, because once again, you weren’t complaining. 

after getting the piece of clothing on you, he looked at you in the mirror, as were you, and he began adjusting certain parts of the fabric to get the clothing on you properly. 

he then wrapped his arms around your waist, placing them right back where they were before and admiring you through the reflection once again. 

“you look really, really pretty,” he told you with a genuine tone before adding, “like always. but like—especially now—you in my clothes is just- wow. it’s like looking at a beautiful, female version of me.”

at his last, playful sentence, you both cackled and you turned around in his hold before hitting him on the chest. 

he feigned pain before laughing and saying, “but in all seriousness, you really look absolutely gorgeous. how did i get so lucky?”

you couldn’t help but smile, turning around once more and immediately leaving a kiss on his lips. catching him off guard, he almost fell back but quickly managed and started kissing you back, hands on your waist, pulling you closer. 

not only was he lucky to be dating you, but so were you to have found him, the love of your life.

Hi Minnie, I've been reading your blog in months. I consider myself as newbie in Stucky/Evanstan fandom. And now I'm also part of Madderton (Richard Madden x Taron Egerton), sadly nothing much in Madderton. A lot of people think Richard Madden looks like Seb, do you think so? Hi lovely! Ahh a belated but very warm welcome to you!! Ahh yes, I do think Richard and Sebastian look alike in some pictures/looks, yes! But where Richard has one or two different looks (which he rocks, by the way), Sebastian looks completely different every few months, so I don't think they always look alike. But in some pics, they do look quite alike, I think. I have posted about the similarity between them before, but tumblr is not letting me find my posts (I probably swore in the tags lol).

i just want to quickly acknowledge: i love adrian??? he’s one of my favorite characters and i love bloodlines mainly because of the am characters and their relationships and growth! love them, love him, whatever (have we established that i’m sydrian trash yet? yes? awesome). my issue is that a) rodrian is an explicitly toxic romance that should not be made up to be another side of a love triangle between the good guy and “bad boy” because b) making adrian a ya brooding, bad-boy archetype is going to actually make me incredibly angry. i understand we’re in the va world so we’re seeing adrian from rose’s perspective, but i do want to keep acknowledging that for the entirety of the first series he was actively dealing with addiction and untreated mental illness so yeah, the tweet kind of...rubbed me the wrong way is all. he’s not a quirky bad boy who drinks a lot and i don’t love him being marketed like that, and sure maybe i’m just sensitive because i love him but if this is the way adrian is treated when j*lie pl*c is a self-proclaimed adrian stan???? yikes is all that’s left to say.
