I wanted to watch this one but did not have enough time. I love Kyle Gray though.

This was a cool thing for Hay House to offer. This would totally be worth the money to get the rest of the old and the new courses! The upside of living in an age of technology is that is so easily shared, is what we can learn if we just look for it. Or open ourselves up to it. What would you have liked to listen to?

Nataly Monge Brenes: This TIM is a child sex abuser who was transferred to a women’s prison after claiming to be the target of sexual assaults in men’s prison. Very shortly after being transferred to the women’s prison, Brenes began to terrorize female inmates. Recently, he attempted to rape a female inmate inside a restroom. He’s since been placed in isolation.

Steve (Sam) Mehlenbacher: This man was serving his fourth federal sentence when he began identifying as a woman and was transferred to a women’s prison. Shortly after the transfer, he sexually assaulted a female inmate.

Andre Patterson (Janiah Monroe): A TIM who strangled a male cellmate to death with his bare hands during an argument. He was transferred to a women’s prison after claiming to be the target of sexual assaults in men’s prison. Two months after the transfer, Patterson raped a female inmate.

Stephen Wood (Karen White): A TIM who raped four female inmates during his stay in a women’s prison. Between January and December 2016, Wood repeatedly raped a woman he had met in a West Yorkshire psychiatric unit. He also stabbed a 66-year-old male neighbor. While awaiting trial on charges of grievous bodily harm and burglary, Wood told probation officers that he was sexually interested in children. He has a 1989 conviction for exposing himself to a nine-year-old boy and 2001 convictions for indecent assault and gross indecency against a 12-year-old boy.

Michael Williams: A man who—along with four others—lured a 13-year-old girl into a golf course where he brutally raped, strangled, and stabbed her before bludgeoning her to death with a hammer. Williams began identifying as a woman while incarcerated, and he was transferred to Fraser Valley Institution (FVI) for women. However, after being accused of sexual harassment by multiple female inmates, Williams was transferred back to men’s prison. Morgane Oger, a TIM politician who continuously engages in public attacks on women’s rights, supports Williams being transferred back to FVI and has accused the female inmates of lying. Oger Tweeted, “We know nearly everyone’s lying in the prisons. We know inmates take strategic action for desired outcomes. We know status gets claimed for advantage and sentencing outcomes.”

Matin Ponting (Jessica Winfield): In 1995, Ponting was sentenced to life in prison for the rapes of two young girls. After he began identifying as a woman, Ponting was transferred to a women’s prison. There, Ponting sexually attacked multiple female inmates.

Matthew Harks (Madilyn Rebecca Harks): A serial child sex offender who began identifying as a woman in 2014. Harks was originally imprisoned for the sexual assaults of two children, a four-year-old girl and a five-year-old girl. While on probation for these offenses, Harks sexually assaulted a seven-year-old girl. He sexually assaulted at least two female inmates during his incarceration.

Hobbie Bingham (Princess Zoee Andromeda Lova): A man convicted of the rape of a 12-year-old girl. While imprisoned, Bingham began identifying as a woman and was transferred to a women’s prison. There, he groomed and raped a developmentally disabled woman.

Adam Laboucan (Tara Desousa): A highly dangerous offender who’s being held in a women’s prison because he now identifies as a woman. When Laboucan was 15-years-old, he raped a three-month-old baby boy. The damage he caused was so severe that the baby required reconstructive surgery. Laboucan has also admitted to drowning a three-year-old child when he was only 11-years-old. While in women’s prison, he assaulted a female inmate and threatened to kill a female guard.

Mr. and Mrs. William Bingham were at the pinnacle of high society in Philadelphia during the 1790s, entertaining many esteemed figures of the early republic (including, of course, Alexander and Elizabeth Hamilton). Mrs. Rebecca Stoddert, wife of Benjamin Stoddert (who served as Secretary of the Navy), beautifully described one of the Binghams’ balls in a letter to her sister, offering a fun and fascinating peek into what attending one of these functions was like. 

“To begin with the beginning, and relate just as it really was, or as it appeared to me, I believe will be best. About half-past seven I called for Mrs. Harrison, and we made our appearance at Mrs. Bingham’s. But instead of her being in the little room, as you have been told, till all her company arrived, she was seated at the head of the drawing-room, I should call it, or, in other words, on one side of the chimney, with three ladies only. There were some young ladies in another room, where, her two daughters were also, who, upon my inquiring after their health, were sent for by their mamma. I should suppose that it was near nine o’clock before the dancing commenced. At the end of the first dance, or near it, punch and lemonade were brought in. That was the first refreshment. Some time after, I think, it was brought in again, and soon after the best ice-cream, as well as the prettiest, that I ever saw was carried around in beautiful china cups and gilt spoons. The latter I had seen there before.

Except punch and lemonade, nothing more to eat till supper, which we were summoned to at eleven, when the most superb thing of the kind which I ever saw was presented to our view--though those who have been there before say that the supper was not as elegant as they had seen there. In the middle was an orange-tree with ripe fruit; and where a common spectator might imagine the root was, it was covered with evergreens, some natural and some artificial flowers. Nothing scarcely appeared on the table without evergreens to decorate it. The girondale, which hangs immediately over the table, was let down just to reach the top of the tree. You can’t think how beautiful it looked. I imagine there were 30 at the table, besides a table full in the other room, and I believe every soul said 'How pretty!’ as soon as they were seated; all in my hearing, as with one consent, uttered the same thing. The only meats I saw or heard of were a turkey, fowls, pheasants, and tongues, the latter the best that I had ever tasted, which was the only meat I ate. The dessert (all was on the table) consisted of everything that one could conceive of except jelly; though I daresay there was jelly, too, but to my mortification I could not get any.  I never ate better than at Mrs. Bingham’s. Plenty of the blanc mange, and excellent. Near me were three different sorts of cake; I tasted all but could eat only one; the others were indifferent. Besides a quantity to eat, there was a vast deal for ornament, & some of them I thought would have delighted my little girl for her babyhouse. In short, take it altogether, it was an agreeable entertainment to me. Notwithstanding the crowd--or numbers, rather, for the house is so large that it was not crowded--there was no noise or the least confusion.

At twelve o’clock or a little after Mrs. Harrison & I left the ball. We were among the first to come away. Never did I see such a number of carriages, except on a race-ground.”
