Wherever he stops, kids grow like gourds from women’s bellies. Like I said, no Indian I’ve ever heard of has ever been or seen an angel. Maybe in a Christmas pageant or something— Nazarene church holds one every December, organized by Pastor John’s wife. It’s no wonder Pastor John’s son is the angel—everyone knows angels are white. Quit bothering with angels, I say. They’re no good for Indians. Remember what happened last time some white god came floating across the ocean? Truth is, there may be angels, but if there are angels up there, living on clouds or sitting on thrones across the sea wearing velvet robes and golden rings, drinking whiskey from silver cups, we’re better off if they stay rich and fat and ugly and ’xactly where they are—in their own distant heavens. You better hope you never see angels on the rez. If you do, they’ll be marching you off to Zion or Oklahoma, or some other hell they’ve mapped out for us.

10-Cruella de Vil

La ambiciosa y popular Cruella de Vil, de '101 dálmatas' (1961), es capaz de hacer cualquier cosa por conseguir nuevas pieles para sus abrigos, así que roba con la ayuda de sus colaboradores Horacio y Gaspar los cachorritos que han tenido los dálmatas de sus amigos, Anita y Roger, ya que este último se niega a vendérselos.

9-La Reina Grimhilde

La malvada madrastra de 'Blancanieves y los siete enanitos' (1937) es, además, técnicamente la primera villana de la Factoría Disney. Obsesionada con ser la mujer más bella de todo el Reino, intentó desahacerse de Blancanieves mandando que le arrancasen el corazón y, finalmente, renunció a todo (incluso a su belleza y su propia vida) para acabar con ella personalmente.

8-Jafar

El malvado de 'Aladdin' (1992) es un auténtico psicópata, capaz de destruir a todo aquel que se interponga en su camino por sus ansias de poder, bajo la máscara de un hombre respetuoso y obediente. Es manipulador y cruel, trata de conspirar para casarse con Jasmín, matar a su padre y apoderarse de su Reino.

7-Lady Tremaine

Es la perversa villana de 'La Cenicienta' (1950), y una de las mayores culpables de la mala fama de las madrastras. Nos hacía temblar cada vez que aparecía de entre las sombras acariciando a su gato, Lucifer. En realidad, forma parte de un pack en el que también debemos añadir a sus hijas, Anastasia y Drizella. Las tres hacen la vida imposible a Cenicienta, relegada a servir y ser explotada en su propia casa tras la muerte de su padre debido a la envidia que despierta a la familia.

6-El Juez Claude Frollo

El escalofriante villano de 'El Jorobado de Notre Dame' (1996) es un fanático religioso y juez corrupto que hace la vida imposible a los gitanos y a todo el que se interponga en su camino. Entre sus numerosos crímenes se encuentra el asesinato de la madre de Quasimodo y llegó incluso a incendiar la ciudad de París.

5-Profesor Rátigan

El Profesor Rátigan es el archienemigo de Basil de la Calle Baker en 'Basil, el ratón superdetective' (1986), y cada vez que aparecía en pantalla nos hacía encogernos en el sofá (¡Oh, Rátigan, oh, Rátigan!). Sus ansias de poder le llevan a secuestrar al juguetero Hiram Flaversham para que fabrique un robot con la apariencia de la Reina, y proclamarse así su sucesor. Pero, además, puede acabar con todo aquel que se interponga en sus planes con ayuda de su gata Felicia, a la que atrae haciendo sonar una campanilla.

4-Úrsula

Es la malvada villana de 'La Sirenita' (1989), cuya fisionomía, eran tentáculos que recuerdan a un pulpo. Tenía como ayudantes a dos morenas y utilizaba la magia para "ayudar" a las pobres almas en desgracia, pero sus tratos eran siempre imposibles de cumplir, por lo que finalmente termina por disolver los cuerpos de sus víctimas. A pesar de arrebatar la voz a Ariel, con ella lo tuvo algo más complicado, y se vio obligada a salir a la superficie bajo el aspecto de Vanessa para evitar que la Sirenita cumpliese el trato al enamorar al Príncipe Eric.

3-Maléfica

La hechicera de 'La Bella Durmiente' (1959) es malvada, poderosa. Es la auténtica encarnación del Mal, ya que tiene los mismos poderes que el demonio y además cuenta con la ayuda de un ejército infinito de monstruos. El mero hecho de ser capaz de hacer la vida imposible a un bebé por no ser invitada a una fiesta lo dice todo sobre ella.

2-Scar

El segundo al trono de 'El Rey León' (1994) Es el villano más ruin y despiadado, capaz de asesinar a su propio hermano y de intentarlo con su sobrino al arrojarle a las hienas. Scar es el responsable de: La trágica muerte de Mufasa.

1-Chernabog

Y por encima de todos ellos, el top 1 va para Chernabog, el escalofriante demonio del episodio "Una noche en el Monte Pelado" de la película 'Fantasía' (1940). A pesar de su corta aparición, se convirtió en uno de los villanos más temibles por los niños de las películas de Disney. Era aterrador cuando despertaba a los fantasmas de sus tumbas y convocaba a brujas y demonios a aquel baile nocturno.

Se acaba una era, la nueva nos espera: El león Scar se marca una canción que cuenta como monólogo de villano, aún cuando tiene algún que otro coro cortesía de las hienas. La canción, titulada 'Listos ya', es toda una declaración de guerra, el momento en que declara que régimen fascista en la sábana está por llegar (con imaginario nazi incluido) y se burla de su hermano Mufasa.

Son malvados a más no poder, algunos tienen poderes, siempre tienen a su lado esbirros que les ayudan en sus fechorías y tienen una risa que da mucho miedo. Pero tienen algo más en común, y es en la forma en la que acaban, ya que la mayoría de ellos no puedes con la fuerza de la gravedad, en casi todas las películas, los Villanos acaban y mueren cayendo por un precipicio, de un edificio o algo semejante. Martin Ingerman (March 9, 1936 – October 21, 2015), known professionally as Marty Ingels.  Actor, comedian, comedy sketch writer and theatrical agent, who is best known as the co-star of the 1960s television series I'm Dickens, He's Fenster.

He guest-starred on the CBS sitcoms Pete and Gladys, The Ann Sothern Show, and Hennesey. He also appeared in one episode of ABC's Bewitched as "Diaper Dan", who plants a microphone bug in Tabitha's rattle so a competing advertising agency can scoop and steal Darrin's ideas. He appeared twice as Sol Pomeroy, an army buddy of the character Rob Petrie, on CBS's The Dick Van Dyke Show. In 1978, Ingels guest starred in Season Two, Episode One of The Love Boat.  (Wikipedia)

John Allen Astin (born March 30, 1930) Stage, film and television actor and director who has appeared in numerous stage, television and film roles. He is best known for starring in The Addams Family (1964–1966), as patriarch Gomez Addams, reprising the role in the television film Halloween with the New Addams Family (1977) and the animated series The Addams Family (1992–1993).

Astin started in theater, making his first Broadway appearance as an understudy in Major Barbara, and also did voice-over work for commercials. His first big break in film came with a small role in West Side Story (1961).

During this period, his talent for also playing comedy was spotted by actor Tony Randall, leading to guest starring roles on the sitcom Dennis the Menace, starring Jay North; The Donna Reed Show; and Harrigan and Son, starring Pat O'Brien, the first carried on CBS and the latter two carried on ABC. In 1961, Astin appeared in the final episode of the ABC police drama The Asphalt Jungle.

During the 1962–63 television season, Astin had his first lead in a television series, the ABC sitcom I'm Dickens, He's Fenster, co-starring with Marty Ingels. Astin played Harry Dickens to Ingels's Arch Fenster, as two trouble-prone carpenters. The series combined witty dialogue with moments of slapstick comedy. I'm Dickens, He's Fenster received critical raves, but was against two high-rated shows, Sing Along with Mitch on NBC and Route 66 on CBS. By the time I'm Dickens, He's Fenster gained a following and started winning its time slot, ABC had already canceled the show. 32 episodes were produced.

Astin is perhaps best known for The Addams Family, a popular sitcom that ran on ABC from 1964 to 1966, based on cartoons created by Charles Addams. 

Astin joined the retooled The Pruitts of Southampton (re-titled The Phyllis Diller Show) for the second half of the 1966–67 season, playing Diller's brother-in-law, Angus Pruitt. He also played the Riddler in the second season of Batman (Frank Gorshin returned for the third and final season.) He played submarine commander Matthew Sherman on the 1970s television series Operation Petticoat. He also made several appearances in the first two seasons of the popular mystery series Murder, She Wrote, as scheming real estate developer (and finally Sheriff) Harry Pierce, who ends up as the murderer in his last episode.  Astin starred in the cult classic TV film Evil Roy Slade (1972).  He had a recurring role on the sitcom Night Court as Buddy, eccentric former mental patient and the father of lead character Harry Stone. Astin played the regular role of Ed LaSalle on the short-lived Mary Tyler Moore sitcom Mary during the 1985–86 television season. He also guest starred on numerous television series, including appearances on Duckman, Homeboys in Outer Space, Jack Palance's ABC circus drama The Greatest Show on Earth, and a 1967 episode of Gunsmoke as Festus Haggen's cousin Henry. Homecoming 2023 a Great Success!

During the weekend of March 23-26, Emmanuel College alumni from across the United States made their way to Franklin Springs to celebrate Homecoming Weekend!

The festivities began with the sixth annual, Sherman B. Smith Memorial Golf Tournament. Sherm (’61) was a faithful supporter of Emmanuel College and served as the president of the National Alumni Association for many years. Sherm’s wife, Bett, and daughters, Sebring and Shaunda, were in attendance to greet the golfers and open the tournament.

On March 24, the Quad was transformed to a tropical paradise, as alumni, current Emmanuel students, faculty, and staff enjoyed a BBQ meal, fellowship, and fun at the Tropical Breeze Cookout.

The evening concluded with an opportunity to watch the Lions Men’s Volleyball win a thrilling five set match against Lees McRae.

On Saturday, graduates from the 1972 and 1973 classes were honored and inducted into the Golden Grads. They enjoyed sharing stories of former teachers and of fond memories of their time at Emmanuel.

At the Alumni and Friends Luncheon and Award Ceremony, Vice President for Advancement, Brian James shared exciting projects and updates happening around campus and how alumni can get involved.

At the luncheon, several members of the community, including a retired Emmanuel professor were honored.

Dr. Frank Mann was recognized as the 2023 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year for his years of service to Emmanuel as a professor of Natural Sciences, and the continued impact he has on the college including establishing a significant endowed scholarship that helps current and future students.

Randall and Ann King were honored with the President’s Award for their dedication to the local community and to the sport of Clay Target Shooting, as owners of the Bowman Gun Club. Last semester, the Kings generously gave the facility to the college to serve as home to the Emmanuel Lions Clay Target Shooting team, national champions in 2023.

Leon and Stephanie Rousey were also recognized with the President’s Award for their dedication to education through establishing the Hendrix-Rousey Endowment Scholarship fund. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide opportunities for Emmanuel students to get a better education through academic and ministry programs.

On Saturday afternoon, two former Lions were inducted into the Emmanuel Athletics Hall of Fame!

Jackie Farmer Fields –

Jackie played her freshman year at Georgia Tech University before transferring to Emmanuel as a sophomore in 1989. She had an immediate impact for the Lady Lions averaging over 21 points a game, 14 rebounds a game, and 4 blocked shots a game. She helped the Lady Lions to one of their best seasons ever, recording a 29-2 season record and undefeated Conference mark. This included being 1989 State and Regional Champions and going on to the National Junior College Tournament to finish 5th in the Nation.

Jackie was voted to the 1st Team All-Conference and was named Most Valuable Player of the Conference Tournament. She was selected to the All-National Tournament Team and All-American team.

Jackie went on to play for Clemson University, where she made an immediate impact. At Clemson, she made the All-Conference team both years and helped her team make it to the Elite 8 in the NCAA National Tournament her senior year. She led the ACC in blocked shots both years she was there. She still holds the Clemson record for most rebounds in a NCAA game at 19. After graduating from Clemson with a degree in Marketing in 1991, she went on to play professionally in Turkey, Spain, and Japan.

Raymond Wilcox –

Raymond Wilcox attended Emmanuel College from 1974-1976, playing basketball under Coach Jim Ganey.  

During his time at Emmanuel, Raymond was named to the All-Region team in 1975 and 1976, accumulating 551 points and 595 rebounds in his two years with the program.  The Lions held a record of 42-16!

In 1975, he led the Lions to a State Championship win over ABAC, and was named MVP of the tournament, even though he only scored one field goal in the championship game.

Many coaches say that Wilcox was the “hub” around which the entire team was built, but his greatest accomplishment came off at the court.

Raymond found and accepted Christ as his Savior and Lord at Emmanuel. He turned down scholarships offered to him by universities across the country to enter ministry to teenagers and children at Falcon Children’s Home where he served as Athletic and Recreation Director.

He remained at Falcon for 13 years where he coached the Basketball, Baseball and Softball teams. While there, he completed his bachelor’s degree at Methodist College in North Carolina.

Raymond went on to work for the Fayetteville County Department of Justice, in Fayetteville, Ga. for 25 years before taking on his current role as a librarian’s assistant.

On Saturday evening, guests enjoyed a special night of worship featuring Resound, a small group of Emmanuel Singers. President White was also honored with the 2023 Medallion Award and was recognized for his 31 years of service to the college.

Thank you to all who joined us in celebrating Emmanuel and the work God continues to do on our campus!

Okay so he’s still being written but I came up with the little concept that he was sort of Frank’s only friend because whilst he’s rather obnoxious in Black Friday when it comes to buddy (his dog) he’s more grounded. Which lead to him befriending the vet doing buddy’s checkups (and eventually having to give him the ashes).

He’s honestly just a fairly normal guy in hatchetfield. Though his friendship with Frank is strained after Frank ‘adopts’ Sherman since Frank doesn’t want to risk him getting killed by the spell and he is completely oblivious to everything. He never met Sherman, so he just assumes that Frank just adopted a child and is super supportive of it! Since he knows Frank doesn’t have many people.

Some other little details is it’s not entirely set in stone yet what their relation is (for now it’s siblings) but in our universe he’s the younger brother of Malone from honey queen and despises him. He tries to ignore malone as much as possible and does not agree with him whatsoever. And as of now his placeholder name is ‘Randall dikrats’.

In our quest to give every hatchetfield side character a developed personality / character I’ve realised that @ashtxeman and I have already done this with so many of the side cast that I’ve been spending my time for the last few days dedicating time to creating lore for the vet character from daddy who appears in ONE scene and has around 3 lines. Possibly not even that.
