JAUNE AND PYRRHA VS CINDER FALL
the most epic Fight in Rwby
Tumblr media
I've been thinking about the Rwby symbolism, and something clicked me. Jaune and pyrrha vs Cinder Fall, would be one of the best fights in animation. I know it's crazy but the more I think about it, the better it is.
First is the duality of Jaune and Cinder, what ?? !! Yes, both appear in the series as subjects seeking power or strength to stand out. at any cost, jaune lying and cheating and cinder murdering anyone who grants him something. jaune understood that power is nothing if not to protect someone as we saw in v6. and cinder took the worst of the Paths and only cares about her own well-being, this clash of ideologies would be very good.
You may wonder where does pyrrha come into all of this?
second, the Soul in rwby is very important because, as we saw with the maidens, it is palpable and they blend with each other. Pyrrha decided to be the Fall Maiden, but Cinder did not allow the transaction to finish, and a little of Maiden's power entered Pyrrha, so at the time of being killed a small part of her Soul is in Cinder waiting to leave. But how will they fight together if she's dead?
third, pyrrha MUST not revive then as it will fight ?, in cinder's subconscious. Just imagine a fight sequence where jaune fights physically with cinder and pyrrha psychologically, interspersing again and again with a masterful choreography, it would be the best of the series, they would leave her devastated, because in her search for power, she made the mistake of ending the woman with the most courage and conviction that I have seen, who waited for the right moment to attack, fighting side by side with the only person she loved, and jaune demonstrating that power is nothing if it is not to protect as pyrrha taught her, giving a spectacular ending to pyrrha in which she rests in peace knowing that she helped her beloved, a very good fight for Jaune and a well justified death to Cinder. but you say, and Ruby? Well she must defeat Salem, because she is the protagonist and it would be fine, but with Cinder it would not make sense, since ruby with flashing her and slitting her neck would already be very bored, but, can they take away the ability of her silver eyes? very forced if you ask me.
well that's my theory, the truth inspired me a lot hahahaha ....... and YES, jaune is MyBOY.

                                        -» The JNPR Tree «-
TL;DR:
The Juniper Tree (as linked) is a German fairy tale published in Low German by the Brothers Grimm in Grimm's Fairy Tales in 1812. It is based on the protagonist of the story, a young boy who is the child of the father and the father’s first wife, who is also Marlinchen’s stepbrother (or in other versions, her half-brother). The boy often afraid to return home from school since he would routinely be abused and beaten, he began to cry himself to sleep every night. Eventually, he is decapitated by his stepmother, she binds his head to the rest of his body with a bandage and props his corpus onto a chair outside, with an apple on his lap for his sister’s discovery. Later, after Marelen discovers that he is dead, his blood is drained and along with his body is cooked into “Blood-Soup/Black Pudding” by his stepmother. When his father returns home and questions where the boy is, she responds telling him that he has gone off to the country to live with his mother’s great uncle. The boy eventually reincarnates into a beautiful bird, returning with items: a golden chain (for his father), a pair of red boats (for his sister), and a millstone, which he uses to kill the stepmother in revenge and reverts back into his original human self by the end of the story.
THEORY NOTES:
I believe Oscar’s story is loosely based upon this fairy tale, but if he had lived through the traumatic experience. In RWBY Volume 4  Episode 1 - The Next Step, Oscar Pine is introduced to us upon waking up from a nightmare panicked, possibly indicating a traumatic experience from his past. Another thing noted to us in this episode is Oscar's outfit, much like the young boy in this tale, Oscar is presented wearing a bandage wrap around his neck, possibly indicating a former wound related to the traumatic experience.
In the Grimm story, after the boy’s death the stepmother responds to her husband stating, "he has gone across the country to his mother's great uncle. He will stay there awhile." However, in this theory, Oscar lives through the ordeal and actually does go to the country in Mistal as a farmhand to live with his aunt.
In the Grimm Brothers "The Juniper Tree," reincarnation plays a major role in the tale. Similarly to how the reincarnation of Ozma also plays a major theme in the tale of RWBY. However, Oscar is the reincarnation of a former like-minded soul (Ozma)  instead of a bird.
But perhaps they didn’t entirely leave this out, in RWBY Volume 6 Chapter 8 - Lost, after Oscar is confronted by his teammates about Ozpin’s lies. Oscar, unsure of how to cope, retreats into the city and is later seen wearing a new outfit consisting of gold, green, and red - possibly a direct symbolism to the bird (often depicted as a pheasant) the boy reincarnated into in the story.
“...fine red and green feathers he had, and how his neck was like pure gold, and how his eyes shone like stars in his head.” A symbolism of Oscar’s purity and innocence.
"Wife," said the shoemaker, "go into the shop. There is a pair of red shoes on the top shelf. Bring them down." Then the wife went and bought the shoes [for the bird]. In RWBY Oscar is shown wearing a pair of red shoes/boots, which he purchased while trying to cope.
It is important to note here that in most instances red shoes in the Grimm fairy tales symbolize a curse or sin. - In the era of the Grimm Fairy Tales, red shoes were the symbolism of harbinger of evil due to the religious influence in society, where the church declared red as a symbol of the devil and unwanted attention.
The story of the “Juniper Tree,” is the archetypal bridge between other fairy tale stories produced by the Grimm Brothers: Cinderella, Briar Rose, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Using an object (normally represented through nature) that watches after the main character. In the case of this story, it’s a juniper tree.
The allusion of using a Juniper tree has long been recognized as one of the most powerful of all fairy tales trees. In the language of flowers, Juniper symbolizes perfect loveliness, beauty, and protection.
The Juniper tree is in the Cupressaceae family closely related to the Pine tree, a possible reference to Oscar Pine’s name.
Hopefully, like the boy in this tale, Oscar will be able to revert back into his former self at the end of the fairy tale, no longer another reincarnation of Ozma.

The Hound
So like most people after episode 2 I'm gonna have a mini theorizing/ gathering my general thoughts about the new grimm.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First things first. The Hound had been stalking Oscar out through that entire episode (which I didn't notice until I rewatched it). I know it was obvious from the get-go when we saw Salem ordering the Hound and giving it a scent that it would be coming after Oscar. But it's a cool little detail to show it following him through Mantle, instead of going for him on sight. It (in my opinion) made the Hound actually seem like it was tracking Oscar down throughout the city, and that it was a smart move to send something behind them at a time where that half of the group weren't watching their backs and were focusing on moving from point A to B as quickly as possible.
Soooo theory time:
1) The Hound is a result of grimm hybridisation/ fusion (basically what's happening to Cinder)
So the part of that made me consider this as what could've happened is the intelligence level the Hound shows (this isn't just talking about the talking). We haven't seen a grimm so far (to my knowledge, but I could be wrong) that has been smart enough to act how this one did, e.g. Using one of the weakest aura levelled humans (even though Oscar was it's target in the first place) as a shield. We know that the grimm are attracted to people's aura as well as negative emotions. It could likely sense YRJO's (I don't know if these four have an official team name) stress from trying to evacuate an entire city into the crater. From there it could likely deduce Oscar as both its target and the lowest aura so he'd be the easiest of the four to go for.
Now, we also know that grimm get more intelligent with age from when Oobleck was explaining to Ruby back in V2 why the Goliaths weren't immediately attacking. However, what we see the Hound doing seems to stretch more than 'this grimm's been around for 100+ years so it's developed this skill'. It seems to be human-like intelligence, it found the groups' weakness and it will exploit it to win. That, compared to the more instinctual approaches of other grimm e.g: work as a pack, overpower weak targets, etc, seems like an actual thought out tactic. Also the Hound was clearly under strict instructions to bring him back to Salem, there's no guarantee that any other grimm wouldn't try to kill him. But the Hound did exactly as it was told without any faults, as if she sent the best she had- maybe a former member of her circle who did something to disappoint Salem and this was their punishment?
2) Something Salem's been saving
As we see in the scene, the Hound possess most of the grimm we've seen into one: Long arms (Nuckelavee), wings (Wyverns), basically making itself look like a Beowolf. We saw at the end of V6 Salem was 'evolving' some Beringels to have wings at the black pools near her castle. Who's to say this hasn't been on the back burner for a while? Maybe when she made a new grimm she'd give one quality to the Hound. Salem's been around for thousands of years, in that time there would've been countless grimm produced. It's possible she could've been working on this as early back as when her and Ozma's kingdom fell and the next incarnation was running around, we don't have a timeframe for when any specific grimm came into existence.
Tumblr media
It's main form seems to resemble an Usra but much bigger
Tumblr media
and later it looks like a Beowolf.
However, this leaves the point that we see it's vocal cords form in it's throat just before it talks. Now the only human-like grimm we've seen are the Apathy. Yes these things didn't talk, but they could scream, which requires the use of vocal cords. It's entirely possible the Apathy had them (with them being made with only the capability to scream) and these were added to the Hound during its creation but were altered slightly to allow for coherent speech.
Another explanation for its speaking capabilities could be similar to the jellyfish grimm Salem uses to communicate with her people. Those grimm are able to be used basically like telephones, if Salem speaks, the people near will hear. It could be that the Hound is simply this and Salem's voice is distorted. Buuuuut I realise this is a bit of a stretch, even though it would be, and was, a good way to put fear into her enemies.
3) Salem's magic
So my last theory is arguably the weakest of the 3. Basically this theory suggests that the Hound was a rush job that was meant to be effective in both striking quickly and hoping Ozpin's group would stand down. We know Salem still has her magic, just like Oz from humanity's first run. The Hound could've been something she knew the black pools wouldn't be capable of creating and had to tap into her own magic to create what she needed. I'll admit though, apart from the maidens and relics, I don't really like the 'because magic' explanation if it isn't already cannon.
So that's just a few thoughts. I've heard theories that the Hound is Summer Rose having gone through grimm hybridization, that would also explain the lack of eyes. But I haven't read those theories enough to form an opinion on them yet, so I'll leave those be until I read and understand them.

Tumblr media
#RWBYAC Day 21: Faunus Of course I drew Tyrian. Of course I did. 🙄 Here he is lusting after a photo of Salem. If you look closely, you'll see that Salem wasn't interested in posing for that photo, but Tyrian doesn't care. This one's going in the shrine for sure, to be taken out for...later use... 😏 Is Tyrian actually weirdly in love with Salem in addition to worshipping her and the very ground she walks on? No clue, but I asked Josh Grelle if Tyrian would bone Salem if given the opportunity and he responded with a VERY enthusiastic YES. So idgaf it's canon you can't stop me from shipping this bad ship EHEHEHEHEHE #bevcantdraw #rwby #rwbyartchallenge2019 #rwbyartchallenge #rwbyfanart #tyriancallows #rwbytyrian #tyrianrwby #rwbysalem #salemrwby #tyrianxsalem #salemxtyrian #hewishes #rwbyshipping #rwbyotp #rwbyheadcanon #rwbytheory #faunus #rwbyfaunus #rwbyvolume6 #rwbyvolume4 #drawing #art #pencildrawing #pencilsketch #traditionalart #thisisstupid #rwbyshitpost https://www.instagram.com/p/By_-neEDjuA/?igshid=133atbw8k7plu

3am Theory #2 (RWBY)
This theory has been debunked, but I leave it up for you to enjoy my madness 😂
The book that we first see Blake with is an account of Ozpin's first reincarnation.
When Ruby and Yang encounter Blake in the ballroom during "The Shining Beacon, Part 2," she is reading a book about a 'man with two souls, each fighting for control over his body,' to paraphrase. As you can see below, the book is handwritten.
Tumblr media
This indicates that it was written by someone who witnessed Ozpin's first reincarnation firsthand, and who was a trusted ally of his, as it seems like it's a detailed account and Oz is wary as to who he lets his guard down around. At the time of his first reincarnation, he must have only had one or two trusted friends, especially seeing that this process was exceptionally rough, considering this had never happened to him before.
So, how did Blake come into possession of it? My theory is that Ozpin's ally, the one who wrote the account, was a Faunus who decided that Oz's story needed to be told, but made it a legend and said that they had the only written version of it, and that book became a family heirloom, passed down until Blake received it. It could have also been Oz himself who wrote the book, then gave it to a trusted ally and it then got passed down to Blake.

Rwby theory
Here's a thought. What if...
1. Qrow is the Scarecrow (always searching for info, or "brains")
2. Ironwood is the Tin Man ("heartless" and hopeless)
3. Lionheart is the Cowardly Lion (no "courage", seriously gutless)
And then look at team WTH....
1. Tyrian is the foil of the Scarecrow (the opposite of a mind, "insanity"
2. Hazel is the foil of the Tin Man (though working with evil, seems to have a "heart")
3. Watts is the Foil if the Cowardly Lion (aloof, "brazen")
And now, the new generation....
1. Jaune was the Scarecrow (he didn't know much, had to aquire knowledge and skills, "brains")
2. Ren was the Cowardly Lion (he was so "scared" as a child it led him to innaction)
3. Nora was the Tin Man (this was in the way that her emotion never really fluctuated. She always maintained a positive demeanor, covering what was in her "heart")
The thing is, each of JPR have overcome their flaws. Jaune has learned to focus and maintain effort in his training. Ren has learned to center himself and become brave. And Nora has let her mask slip, showing through her true feelings. This is something that it seems the old guard didn't accomplish, which led to their downfall. I believe that Summer was Dorothy, but their failure led to her death. Ruby is the new Dorothy, and as she overcomes her flaws her team is right beside her to help, support, and guide her as they each meet their goals and discover themselves along the "yellow brick" road.
They've now made it to Mistral, or the "Emerald City." The next step though.....

RWBY theory
Ever thought of this: the bird that collided with Ruby during initiation could be Qrow.
Knowing that the Branwen siblings and Ozpin had some history together (Refer to Volume 5). And the questionable stuff that Ozpin made the siblings do in the past. Uncle Qrow might be slightly worried that his niece was recrui- applied too early for Beacon. Qrow might be also worried that Ruby could get mixed in with Qrow’s keikaku,
ORRR, Qrow was just excited and decided to watch Ruby initiation like a complete soccer mom.

pretty sure the moment yang jaune and ren got into the whale they went completely radio silent
there’s no new scenes of them in the mid season trailer, which could either be cause they’re too spoiler-y or take place a couple episodes in
but after watching the ace ops and winter charging with the bomb, we see a scene of a very upset marrow
Tumblr media
since ironwood doesn’t know about winter’s deal to let jaune and co. be the ‘test subjects’, it stands to reason that once winter didn’t hear back from them and ironwood gave them the bomb, she had no choice but to charge in
tho to be fair, even if winter did hear back, I'm not sure that would stop her from bringing the bomb in. i just think marrow would be more angry than sad if that was the case
either way #marrowdeservesbetter2021

Theory: Ren
So a little theory that's been floating around my mind since mid-way through V7 is that maybe the reason why we've been seeing Ren's agitation so easily is that he, while he usually remains calm by himself, will keep a part of his semblance permanently active on himself, kind of like how Qrow's semblance is constantly at work. Bear in mind Qrow's is a passive rather than an active semblance as it isn't something he can switch on and off like an active one.
Back in V7 after this shot:
Tumblr media
His eye under his hair looked grey, like it does when his semblance is active so my main theory through V7 was that eventually Ren's semblance would take over and become permanently active, like a passive semblance. At the time I thought this could be due to extensive use of it as in V6 he masked an entire train, but I don't know if that would cause it. However, while it was an interesting idea at the time, I think the grey eye was just an animation error.
Another idea I had was that a semblance could be used involuntarily, y'know kinda how back in V3 when Pyrrha used hers accidentally when she was stressed about the Fall Maiden situation and threw Jaune at a wall.
Tumblr media
It could be possible that Ren has been using his involuntarily up until mid-V7 as a way of not drawing Grimm? And now that in Atlas a percentage of his aura is being used to keep him warm and alive in the cold of Solitas, he hasn't been able to keep up both semblance and heating at once and now there's nothing really to keep himself calm without the aid of his semblance as he is seemingly just letting out a lot of bottled up stuff as early back as V4. From what we saw in V8Ch4, his filter has already come off with his argument with Yang and outburst at Jaune. Maybe they'll get chance to talk through it more and help him, but for now who knows?
So yeah not sure how much of this makes sense. But kinda worried now considering what was hinted at with the cracks in the ice at the end of Ch4

So Vol 8 Episode 1! Finally!
Does anyone else get just a wee bit discomfited that right at the end of the episode, rather quick and easy-to-miss, a final, enigmatic image comes together depicting (most of) our huntspeoples as they face the incoming baddies OH WAIT EXCEPT PENNY, who pulled an about face, equipped her swords, and now hovers ambiguously either above OR in counterpoint position facing off AGAINST our crew?
Conspiracies abound!...Welp, can't say most of the fanbase didn't already catch a whiff of an imminent $#!+$+%RM....So as my favorite lyric of all time (see: ‘The Mission’, by Puscifer) puts it, ‘Its all fire and brimstone, baby, so lets go outside...’

So here is my non-planned idea/ramble about what will happen in episode 12
So with episode 11 out and 500 followers on this page (500! I love all of you) I thought it would make sense to do a ‘what’ll happen’ in episode 12, let’s begin with Yang.
Yang will probably just be driving around on her bike looking for Blake, really interesting stuff I know but then again nothing happening with her just sums up volume 4 amirite?
Blake however will be more interesting. She mentioned in episode 11 that she wants to perform a (communist?) revolution within the white fang and get rid of Adam who himself is gonna perform a revolution to gain power, great planning there kitty. However before she has the chance to do that Adam will turn up to Blake’s house with an army and be like “OOOoh, my love hello there” and then proceed to kill Kali (because the FNDM likes her) and say it’s Blakes fault, he may also kill Ghira as well but I think he wants him to suffer, like he said in volume 3 the idea isn’t to kill everyone Blake loves, just to ruin Blake’s life and making Kitties Dad become depressed really would contribute to it. Maybe Sun will die as well i’m not really sure but i doubt it, we need him to help Blake progress as a character. Either way Blake’s story will end with her “being not afraid, to take a stand” (guess the artist for that quote) and she will fight Adam for control of the White Fang he leads, she’ll win and Adam will go running to Salem.
Weiss will finally have stopped tiptoeing through the tulips (sly hint to a future meme which I’ll get right onto) and leave Ice-land for good but not before dealing with EITHER her father or Irondad. If it’s her father prepare for a really awesome scene where she tells him she’s an independent woman who don’t need no man and finally wrecks shit, summoning her absolute boss titan to teach Jacques, his guards and Shitley a lesson before fleeing to go to wherever she was going (ICR sorry). If it’s Irondad she meets it’ll be less badass and more Irondad saying “Don’t be stupid Ms Schnee, don’t do this” her saying “You can’t stop me” and him replying like a boss with “I know, but come with me instead of on your own” proving James is an absolute boss and finally ending Weiss’ time in Elsa’s Ice Palace.
Now onto what everyone really cares about, Team RNJR (JNRR?) and what will happen to them with Knuckles the Grimm (who reminds me of Pestilence, one of the four horsemen and yes I know he’s actually a nuckal-whatever-le). Now throughout this fight RNJR will protect Qrow as he is very important to the plot and somewhere near the end of this fight Crescent Rose will snap in the jaws of or the hands of Knuckles, meaning Ruby will instead use Qrow’s Scythe and overtime modify it into a new Crescent Rose (fan-art pleeeeeaaaasssee). Also I expect, surprisingly, for all of RNJR to survive. Why? Well it’s all to do with RNJR’s origins, if you look at Pyrrha (rip) she was based off of Achilles and died the same way. Even her name means Pyrrhic Victory or victory with great sacrifice (unfortunately her name ruined the shock for me when she did die, Classical Civilisation really helps with these theories). Anyway Nora will not die by Knuckles, she will be killed by a massive Grimm serpent, just as Thor was killed by Jormungdar (the world serpent) and Ren will, well, Ren definitely won’t kill himself because he become a concubine like Mulan did, Ren will probably die by sacrificing himself to protect Nora in a few seasons. Jaune and Ruby won’t die because they are important to the plot and Pyrrha died to help progress Jaune and Ruby’s stories, killing either of them now would be stupid writing. Not only this but I already expect one death, Kali, and anymore without a build up like Volume 3 would be mad and nonsensical. As such I feel that the fight with Knuckles will really only result in the destruction of Crescent Rose, showing the idea that Ruby is growing up and that it gets rid of Raven’s one save policy. Raven whaaaaaaat? I hear you say, yes Raven. RNJR will be close to losing when Raven comes in and wrecks shit, saving her brother and co just before healing Qrow with medicine (included in the one safe policy). This would also let us see who that secret weapon is Qrow mentioned earlier on. So at the end of the day and a nice tl;dr. Yang will be looking for Blake, Blake will fight Adam for control after he kills Kali, Weiss will flee either with or without Ironwood’s help and RNJR will be saved by Raven’s group which will allow for some interesting talks between Raven and Ruby about Summer.
I’ve been Awfulrwbymemes and I’m sorry this is so long.
