i just got a few questions feel free to just pick one <33 ..... 1. how did Gracie and jack frost met? (that and how she met the other guardians) did she met them like in the movie or was it before or after the events of the movie?

2. (bit nervous cuz im not sure if this sounds rude to ask forgive me if it does) if she and jack start dating how would they deal with him not being able to age? or does something happen that make either Gracie stay the same or jack being able to age like a normal human? since he's stuck at the age he became a "spirit"? which in the books is 14 but in the movie 17 (imma be honest with this info maybe he can sorta age but its just....slowly? im not sure, this is sorta whether u consider the books and movie separate or not)

First Jack and Gracie met after the events of the first movie, BUT, technically, they met when Jack was still human. "What ?? How is it possible ??" And that's simply because Gracie reincarnated multiple times through time because she's a mermaid ! (I was like sixteen when I created her I feel like it's a necessary info I'll say more later about the lore) so when they met, they were Jackson and Purity Grace, in the 1700s something. Their trope would be Immortal x Reincarnated. They fell in love during this era but Purity Grace died a year before Jack in an arson with her entire family (I'm a cruel piece of trash i know hehe)

For the second (which is totally appropriate) She's 19 and he's 17 but she won't age any longer, I'm explaining: in this lore, mermaids has the possibility to reincarnated and grant wishes for the ones they want. When she was still a mermaid in the 1500s something she granted a lot of wishes because she loves humans, but her first love died and she was cursed by someone called The Wlaker after she refuse to help him : she is condemned to forget her name and die in the very place where she caused it, and everytime she will never exceed the twenties and will die in horrible pain. Which is what happened later, she's captured by colons, treated like a witch, she will be sprinkled with salt, which will take away her powers, and quartered in the public square. Now I'll try to go faster because it's getting long so then she reincarnated six times before Gracie and the more she reincarnated, the more she's unable to imagine or dreams things and every time, no matter how she looks Jack seemed to recognize her but not remember her, and it's the same for Gracie.

When Gabriel (one of her lives) who almost never had dreams, underwent several dangerous operations which caused his death. A divide was created in her discernment of reality and imagination and Gracie began to have hallucinations from Angela David, around the age of fifteen. Gracie's hallucinations are actually a mixture of memories from her past lives, dreams, nightmares and children's wishes intertwined in her mind. Because of her numerous reincarnations, Gracie is unable to dream when she sleeps nor discerns correctly the reality from the false. But destined to become a guardian, the Man on the Moon helps her regain possession of her increasingly strong powers. She will regain all her memories thanks to her teeth that are the exact same since her first life.

So when she meets Jack and all the guardians a bit more than a year after the movie, she thinks they are hallucinations, unrealistic forms of what the kids used to believe (and she never believed in them btw) but she has to face the truth when they take her to the North Pole because cold can't lie lol. Also she's close to Pitch since she's a kid because, as for Jack, she's one of the only one that sees him but she never was scared, and he kinda sees his daughter in her ANYWAY HERE'S THE BEGINNINGS OF WHAT IT WAS WHEN I STARTED DRAWING THEM

IT'S MESSED BUT YEAH BECAUSE SHE HAS HALLUCINATIONS SHE THINKS SHE'S CRAZY

A/n: Tried to make this a fluff headcanon and ended up with angst. Wtf happened.

P.s.: I know that there wasn't much going on in this headcanon between North, Bunny, Sandy, and the reader, but with the way it went, I didn't know how to smoothly implement them. HOWEVER, if you, my dearest readers, want, I can make a part 2 maybe even 3 for this scenario/headcanon where I expand on their relationships as well.

To set the stage, let us imagine that you became a Guardian a while before Jack, but not at the same time as the other Guardians

Like, the Guardians have already been formed but Pitch still couldn't be defeated

And so, to help out, the Man in the Moon decided to resurrect you and make you the Guardian of Love

But what the Big Four didn't expect was that you would be a bit of a menace

More like a fuckton of a menace

But a menace in a friendly and chaotic kind of way

Because you liked to prank most of the Guardians

Especially on Bunnymund

Which he did NOT appreciate

Or you tend to say some cursed stuff

And when Jack was also chosen as the new Guardian

Bunnymund just about had a mental crisis

Because he knew that if you and Jack managed to become friends

All hell would break loose possibly quite literally I'm sure you would find a way

But back to the program

Even though you had a friendly relationship with all of the Guardians

You and Jack just clicked (either romanticly or platonically that is up to you)

Most likely due to the fact that both of you are about the same age (not chronologically, but rather biologically, considering you both died as teens)

And that you both are chaotic

But despite you and Jack acting all happy, snarky, and overall chaotic, there were moments when both of your personalities just did a 180

Especially after Sandy died

Because Jack not only blamed himself for his death but also the fact that you got hurt trying to save him

And you blamed yourself that you weren't strong enough to take out Pitch before the bastard killed your dear friend

So, even though they were grieving Sandy's death themselves, some of the Guardians went to comfort you both

North went to Jack while Tooth decided to go to you

Right off the bat, Tooth could feel the intense wave of grief radiating off of you. The Guardian of Memories wasn't used to seeing you so depressed.

Even back then, when you had just been resurrected and recruited, when times were tough and the future was uncertain, you had managed to stay happy, or at least pretend to be happy, and thus bring joy and hope to the rest of the team, when doubt started to cloud their minds. You were always the one to inspire them to fight or listen to them when they needed to vent.

But seeing you in this state curled up within yourself like a Rose of Jericho, knowing the pain and shame you felt, weighed heavy on Toothiana's heart.

The fairy knew that as the Guardian of Love, as Cupid, you felt all versions of love more strongly than others. That you valued friendship and the friends themselves far more than yourself. And that losing them would be harder for you than for most others.

So Toothiana tentatively flew towards your hunched figure, lightly ghosting a hand on your tense and hardened shoulder, before bringing your inverted body towards her's, wrapping her arms around you in a gentle embrace as you silently cried into your arms.

"It's not your fault, (Y/n). It never was," the Tooth Fairy whispered into your ear, tears brimming in her eyes as she felt your almost unnoticeable shaking and ragged breaths.

"But it is," you rasped out, your voice having gone raw from crying, "if I had noticed him preparing an attack if I had fought harder against the nightmares - I could've saved him. I could've helped."

"But that's the thing, even if one of us had noticed, there were too many nightmares to hold us back and we were too far away," Toothiana insisted, gently rubbing your back in smooth and comforting circles, "None of us would've made it."

A long silence enveloped the pair, Tooth continuing her calming strokes along your back, but other than that, everything stayed the same.

Only when the Tooth Fairy wanted to pull away, thinking that perhaps, you needed space after all and that she didn't do a good enough job at comforting you, she could feel you slump against her. Your body became less tense as you nuzzled your face into the crook of her neck, closing your glassy eyes as you deeply breathed in and out.

And in a quiet whisper, almost making Toothiana not hear it, you mumbled a phrase that made the fellow Guardian pull you closer and bring small tears to her eyes again.

"Please don't leave me."

Unpopular ROTG headcannon

My ROTG head cannons just because

1) Jack = Nightlight

Unlike most who prefer to think of them as separate people, I prefer for Jack and Nightlight to be one in the same. The books are definitely not the same universe as the movie but it's awesome to think that Jack could be this ultra powerful alien from a thousand years ago.

How Jack can be Night when he was clearly human? Nightlight is physically 14 in the books while Jack is physically 17 in film. I like to think that after he became human, he stayed that way for 3 full years with his adoptive human family before he became Jack Frost. His family took him in when he appeared on their doorstep and being the colonial times, they didn't really question him.

2) Jack's Gender

On the subject of Nightlight: A Nightlight is a person made from star magic, what are the chances they'd be born with a gender? There are hairs involved in the process of creating them but how much would that really effect it. I headcannon Nightlight was born without a gender and eventually – avoiding his fate as a star and living longer than the average Nightlight – his identity developed until he realized he was male.

I.E. he technically trans.

3) Spirits aren't dead

A lot of people associate the word spirit with ghost but I think within the universe of RotG/GoC, they're completely different. Jack is the only spirit who died prier to becoming a spirit, no one else died. He was brought back to life by MiM. Spirits are living people that live within a sort of inter-dimension bubble. Kinda like Aang in Atla when he first enters the spirit world.

I believe they are alive but their bodies are frozen in time. If they get severely hurt, they don't scar. Their body returns to normal. They can be killed but are more durable (Jack falling from 100ft onto a dumpster and not even being bruised) or be killed by magical means (Pitch killing Sandy with a dark arrow.) They do need sleep and food/water just not nearly as much as a normal person.

4) The Wind

People assume that the wind is alive because of Jack's line "hey wind, take me home," and it may be alive in the books (I still haven't gotten to the second book) but I think the wind isn't actually alive in the movie-verse. It's angsty but I think that Jack pretended the wind was alive in order to not feel feel so alone after 300 years of isolation.

I feel it adds another layer to his character as well as expresses just what that kind of isolation can do to someone.

5) Bunny's age

In the books, Bunny blames himself for his race's extinction because he invented this magical chocolate that led to Pitch attacking them or something along those lines.

But it never feels like Bunny has a personal vendetta against Pitch in film, nor that he has any REAL hate towards him until he steals from Tooth.

So, in movie-verse, I headcannon that Bunny was just a young child/toddler when his species was wiped out and doesn't really remember the attack. It would explain why he never had a real grudge toward Pitch because he wouldn't see the point in holding one over a people he doesn't even know or remember.

6) Jack's sexuality

Much like how I think Jack was born without a sex, what are the chances that a magical being made from star magic would have a desire for a specific gender. Not to mention the somewhat outlandish part of his personality is very similar to a friend of mine.

I'm calling it, he's a pansexual.

7) Guardian Fam

This is shared among the fandom with seeing the guardians as one big family for Jack. With me specifically it's:

North = Father

Bunny = Annoying brother

Tooth = Mother/older sister

Sandy = Awesome uncle

8) Seasonal Spirits

I still haven't read past the first GoC book so I don't know if seasonal spirits are addressed in it, but I headcannon Jack as the only winter spirit.

Like, the reason why there needed to be seasonal spirits to begin with is because earth was actually in a constant state of winter. There are 4 spirits per season (-winter) and each spirit brings one aspect of the season. Like one summer spirit brings heat while another makes the ocean waves crash. One spring spirit pollinates plants while another wakes the animals from hibernation. Kinda like Tinkerbell fairies.

And that can be why Jack is so powerful (excluding my Nightlight headcannon.) He controls all aspects of winter and therefore makes him more powerful.

9) Tooth's Magic

It's never really explained in the movie just how the world works if adults don't believe in these legends when they actually exist.

So I like to think that it could be Tooth's doing. She's the guardian of memories after all, maybe she can manipulate the memories of the adults to the extent that she makes them think they put cash under their child's pillow or hid eggs on Easter.

And as for the foreign coins the baby teeth leave; I think after they're under the pillow, they transform into whatever amount of cash the parents told their kid there would be.

I may add on to this post later on if I can think of anything else bc my mind is mush but for now, I'll leave it at that.

So I personally always headcanon Pitch pining for the object of his affections for a long time, positive the feelings are unrequited and wanting to avoid rejection at all costs. Then once it turns out there IS interest, it really is like a dam breaking and he has all this repressed desire he can finally act on. What do you think about nsfw headcanons for the first time he and his partner do it?

I think he’d be very gentle and caring, constantly doubting and making sure everything’s fine and okay for you. 

Second time around, not so much ;). He’s much more needy and maybe a little rough, but still getting his bearings about what’s okay.

If I may also make a counter argument:

While there's no way of really saying what Jack's romantic preferences are/were, I think there's a more practical reason why Jack wouldn't have been married at 17 back then.

Like frostedlovebite said, the flashback shows Jack's sister and his mother but it doesn't show any adult males who could have been his dad. This might just be because his dad worked (maybe he ran a farm? or hunted? or traveled? idk), but it could also imply that his dad wasn't in the picture. Whether that was because he was dead or left, that doesn't matter. But this would mean that Jack would be left as the man of the house in his dad's absence.

If frostedlovebite's theory is true that the family was hurting for money already, Jack might have prioritized staying home and taking care of his mom and sister over leaving to start a family of his own. He might not have been able to do everything his dad could have, but he could at least make sure his sister was cared for while their mother worked or he could have done odd jobs around their village to bring in extra money for their family. He clearly loved the family he had, and he couldn't support them as well if he left to get married, you know?

We already know that under his silly demeanor, Jack knows how to be mature and understands how harsh the world can be. I wouldn't be surprised if he was like that before he became Jack Frost as well.

Okay, so Jack is considered somewhere between 14-17 years old, right? That’s high school age. And what do people do during high school? They change. So imagine Jack just going through phases for like three hundred years because he hadn’t found a version of himself he liked enough to hold onto for very long. And the reason he didn’t like those versions of himself is because nobody else seemed to, and, in my head, Jack is a bit of a crowd pleaser. He wants to be himself, but he also desperately wants to be liked, to be seen, by others.

After the French Revolution, Belle and Prince Adam sought refuge in Santoff Claussen, which they heard of from a book Belle once read. They were very familiar with the concept of magic, so naturally, they decided that this was the ideal haven to raise their only child in. Especially if she inherited her maternal side’s inclination toward eccentricities.

Katherine obviously gets her looks and story-telling gift from her mother. (Plus they both like to dress in yellow, and have supernatural boyfriends)

A/n: Hi, anon! My day is going great and I hope yours is too! I'll be honest, I might not have done a very good job on the headcanon because, as you stated, there aren't enough fics for Tooth and I haven't written a headcanon in a long time, but I still tried my best! I hope you enjoy it!

I think that Tooth being with someone who is chaotic and energetic is an ideal scenario

I mean, both of them are quite energetic and it just feels to me that they match each others energy, although Tooth is a bit calmer and not as chaotic as her partner most of the time

So imagine the Guardian's surprise when they find out that their sweet and a bit quirky Tooth is dating a manic and powerful chaos spirit

Bunnymund is already developing PTSD. It's already bad enough that he has to deal with Jack Frost and now Tooth's partner?

Of all of them, I think that Sandy would accept the relationship the fastest. With how laid back he mostly is when nothing serious is going on, he would quickly congratulate Tooth on her relationship in his own way Omg I can just imagine it in my head and it makes my heart clench

Santa, in my opinion, would be shocked, but still be like "Ooooooh-kay (?)". Like he would be happy that Toothiana is in a healthy relationship but would still be a little terrified of Chaos Spirit!reader

Bunny can also be found in the terrified but accepting category. But unlike North, who would be mostly terrified by the fact that Tooth was dating a powerful spirit, he would be terrified because her partner is a powerful and manic spirit.

But he won't be against the relationship.

Now with Jack, it's a bit... complicated.

Because there are two scenarios to how this can go.

1 - if he liked Tooth, then he would obviously feel jealous. I don't think he would say anything about his feeling but his body language would be enough to show that he wasn't exactly happy. But he wouldn't want to challenge Chaos spirit!reader, so Jack would just try to mask his feelings and congratulate Tooth.

2 - if he doesn't have feelings for Tooth, then he would be impressed and most likely tease the fairy. Like, he would find it really cool that Tooth's partner has the same chaotic energy he has or even more than him, but at the same time, he would tease his friend about managing to snag a powerful spirit like her partner.

Overall, I think the whole team would be accepting of the relationship one way or another But if Tooth's partner turned out to be a horrible person and mistreat Tooth, The Guardians wouldn't hesitate to fight them

Frozen Fever, but with the Guardians because seriously...

Elsa = Jack, that frozen corpse with a heart of gold is literally a Disney Princess but for DreamWorks, he fits the princess criteria from Wreck it Ralf 2.

Anna = Tooth cause i ship Rainbow Snowcone very hard and want Jack to try and make his bestie and secret crush happy on her Bday

Olaf, Kristoff & Sven = North, Bunny & Sandy in no particular order

I swear Jack gets like really bad hay fever and he turned up to one of the Guardians meet ups with his eyes all puffy and itchy and sneezing his head off and the others are like what the heck and he just goes I hate summer in a really congested voice tho 

Also North would be the king of party planning.

Also Bunny would hide a bunch of eggs painted in rainbow and with teeth on them for the party and Jack would be all nervous because he has a cold and that’s giving him a headache and that’s making him stress about everything.
