With How to Train Your Dragon 3 coming out, I've realized that these two were one of my very first ships. It's been 14 years and I can hardly believe it! It's been an amazing adventure with these two.

What other ship name is pronounced differently from English and Spanish for you?

Puuf, many? Now I can only think of the name of the Hiccup and Astrid ship of HTTYD? Because it is written as 'Hiccstrid' but I know many Spanish speakers who pronounce it as 'Hiccastrid' (me included) but the vast majority pronounce it as it is called?

Christmas calender day 4

Prompt: First snow day

Fandom: Httyd

“Hey, is that snow?” Astrid asks, squinting at the little white specks.

“Yeah, I think so” Hiccup answers, twisting his head to get a better look. 

“So this is the first snow day?” Astrid raises an eyebrow and looks at Hiccup whom shrugs.

“I guess so”, he grimaces “ugh, now we’re back to being constantly cold”

“More like being constant ice blocks”

They’re interrupted by a gasp and look up to see Snotlout staring at the tiny flakes with horror in his eyes. The viking turns to his dragon and clings on.

“Hookfang, please don’t leave me, don’t hibernate, just stay here and enjoy the Snoggletog to come!” Snotlout begs and Hookfang just snorts in response.

Defeated, Snotlout drapes himself over his dragon.

“At least stay for a little longer?” he pleads, and a light rumble answers him.

Snotlout decides to take that as a yes.

Meanwhile Astrid shakes her head.

“I actually feel kind of bad for Snotlout; I can’t imagine having to go the enitre winter without Stormfly” 

Hiccup hums in agreement while bowing his head in greeting to other vikings whom pass by. They all just throw one look to the sky, grimaces and then carries on.

They’re used to the snow and it’s nothing special.

Hiccup snorts upon this realisation.

They must be one of the few people who’s not over the moon when the first snow comes.

“Wow, we must make for quite the depressing sight”

“What?” Astrid asks with a raised eyebrow and Hiccup just chuckles and gives her a side hug.

“Nothing, just me and my thoughts”
