"CONFRONTING THE ENEMY'S TACTICS!"
Psalm 144:1, “Blessed be the Lord, my Rock and my keen and firm Strength, Who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight” (AMPC) The main tactic of the enemy is deception. “Deception” is defined as, “the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid; to trick; to cheat; to defraud; to be dishonest.” And that’s exactly who the enemy is, a deceiver, liar and the…

A academic reflection of Dallas Willard's "Renovation of the Heart"
What book would you recommend? “That’s interesting, I’d like to know something about spirituality. Can you recommend something for me to read that would be helpful?” Introduction This essay is framed in the context of Christianity. Spirituality must be viewed from our own lived experience and our weltanschauung[1] and it would be disingenuous to not be authentically Christian and…

When recognizing a mistake, don't you instinctively strive for improvement? Similarly, when life knocks someone down, don't they inherently seek to rise stronger than before?
Our inner light is the greatest source of guidance. Is it not fitting that celebrities are called stars, shining bright? When we close our eyes, darkness fades, revealing our own radiant potential. Didn't the dragon's tail sweep away a third of the stars and hurled them to earth, reminding us God's Word is our eternal illumination?

Prayer to Resist Sexual Temptation
Dear Heavenly Father,
I humbly come before You, acknowledging the struggles I face in resisting sexual sin. Your Word, in 1 Corinthians 6:18, speaks to my heart: "Flee from sexual immorality." I seek the strength to heed this call, recognizing that my body is Your temple.
Guide me, Lord, according to Psalm 119:9, "How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word." I yearn to immerse myself in Your Word, finding the strength and wisdom to resist the temptations that surround me. Let Your Scriptures be a constant shield against impurity, shaping my thoughts and actions.
James 4:7-8 urges me to submit to You and resist the devil. I pray for the power to submit myself wholly to Your will, resisting the schemes of the enemy. Draw me near to You, O Lord, where I find strength, grace, and victory over temptation.
In moments of weakness, I hold onto the promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability..." Grant me the discernment to see the escape route and the endurance to follow it.
Purify my heart, mind, and actions, Lord. May the love of Christ be the guiding force in my life, helping me walk in purity and glorify You in all I do. In Jesus' name, I pray.
Amen.

God's Word Sown on the Soil of Fertile Hearts, Brings Forth Much Fruit
Jesus explains the parable of the sower and his seed:
Luke 8:11-18 "The seed is the word of God. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they shall believe and be saved. But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. But the ones that fell on good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience. No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him."

One of the greatest blessings from God is the Word of God. Psalm 119:18 tells us to pray that God would open our eyes to see wondrous truths from Scripture. Ask God to help you read the Bible. The word of God is pure and true and helps us in every area of our lives! 💙

“Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children" Luke 10:21
However knowledgeable about Scripture we may be, we need to approach it each day as little children, asking the Holy Spirit to teach us.
Regardless of how much we already understand, there’s still an infinite storehouse of understanding of the mind of God waiting for us in Scripture.
It isn’t enough to believe that all Scripture is from God… It is also extremely important to approach the Bible with a spirit of deep
humility - knowing that our understanding of spiritual truth is at best incomplete and to some extent inaccurate. No Christian, or body of Christians, has a corner on all truth.
As we read or study the Bible, we should never do so just to confirm your own opinions or favorite doctrines. Rather, ask the Holy Spirit to teach you. (This is to love the truth and this will protect us from deception.)
God may indeed confirm your convictions more deeply as you see them aligned with the teaching of Scripture. He’ll also very likely make you aware of areas of your life where you aren’t fully obedient to his revealed will, or he may cause you to see in a different light some doctrinal position you’ve assumed.
So we should approach the Scriptures in humility and expect the Spirit to humble us even further as we continue being taught by him from his Word. “

See yourself as a winner and an overcomer in God’s eyes.
Open my eyes to see the wonders of your law (Psalm 119:18).
04/14 Bible verses
The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "ALL THE NATIONS WILL BE BLESSED IN YOU. (Galatians3: 8)
And since the Bible foresees that God will justify the Gentiles by faith, it has already preached the gospel to Abraham and said, "In you all nations will be blessed (Galatians 3:8)."
04/14Good words
1. Just like staying healthy and well-balanced, happiness is a highly personal ability that can be learned.
2. Happiness has nothing to do with positive or negative thoughts, but with the disappearance of desires, especially desires for external things.

以上帝的眼光看自己是贏家,是得勝者。
求你開我的眼睛,使我看出你律法中的奇妙 (詩篇119: 18)。
04/14圣经金句
The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "ALL THE NATIONS WILL BE BLESSED IN YOU.  (Galatians3: 8)

Grief
Grief is a frightening and lonely thing. Praise God that He doesn't leave us to suffer in our grief alone. Instead, He provides us with hope. He gives us healing. He promises us the restoration of all things. There may not be a shortcut to experiencing freedom from grief, but we do know who holds the prescription: Jesus Christ. God grants us healing. God grants us peace. God gives us hope.
When grief seems like far too much to bear, and when the weight of it all lies heavily on your weary shoulder, preach to yourself the truth that in Jesus Christ the broken are healed and the grief-stricken are restored to a glorious hope.
