So... I'm going to probably get into DND when I go to college, and I am probably going to use my WoW orc shaman, Moggatorash as a character!

A friend of mine drew him, and in the eye, he was winking. He is blind in that eye due to being beaten as a teen for stealing in Orgrimmar, where he lives on the streets as an orphan. He was found by a Tauren warrior who brought him to Thunderbluff, where he was adopted into his family, and he began training as a shaman. He earned the nickname Chey'vo amongst the Tauren people, which means "spirit warrior".

He later returned to Orgrimmar to officially join the horde, and he was met with mixed emotions by the people.

Some wanted him in chains because he stole from them so much. and some of them were important people within the faction. Others such as the very guard who beat him to where he was near death, saw him and moved through the crowd and stood before Mogga, raising a fist and a sword only to be stopped by Baine Bloodhoof, who was the one who gave the official nickname of Chey'vo.

Moggatorash would often come to him for advice, like the uncle figure he never had.

Once he was officially welcome into the horde, he sought out the elements to further guide him on his path. He eventually gained the ability to see auras and see into a person's soul as well as Astral project his consciousness to where he pleases.

Since then, he has been a trusted shaman known for his abilities and healing. He would even dedicate his free hours to healing and providing for orphans and those who have no home because he was in that situation long ago. He's has a very mischievous childhood while he was living on the streets; stealing from nobility and various stalls within the city. His adopted brother, Villhelm journey with him back to the Horde capital to make sure his little brother's past did not catch up to him.

My next entry for my SIW Expression Challenge! D10 for Raphael!

Is it immediately wrong to enjoy kicking shell and taking names? Justice is sweet like honey, but can sometimes be just as sticky of a mess- How do you know when you've gone too far? Where's the line between justice and revenge?

To me, the line between a protector and a murderer is the reason why you fight. A murderer fights only to inflict pain on their enemies, exact revenge on those who have wronged them, or even just to play god. The reasoning is fully self-focused, self-obsessed. But a protector is one who fights for everyone else. One who is willing to risk their health and life in order to ensure the safety of those they care about. Completely other-minded.

"Greater love hath no man than this, then to lay one's life down for his friends." ~ John 15:13

This is something that Raphael will struggle with. His pride, as well as his traumatic history, will push him to near the edge of what he knows to be right. Especially when he's given the very opportunity for vengeance that he's longed for since returning from the labs.

Hera being Athena’s surrogate mother also has potential angst when Athena inevitably betrays her by bringing Heracles for Hera to nurse.

Maybe in a backwards way, it’s Athena’s way of convincing Hera not to hurt Heracles by presenting her half brother as a normal child who needed a mother considering Alcemene left him to die.

A little drabble scenario idea I put together for @snivyartjpeg’s Kokolight Vampire AU 💜💚🦇

To Care for a Sick Vampire

Yuma seems to be even more tired/weak than usual one day and Vivia notices that something is wrong with him. He asks him if he wants to feed on any of his blood to possibly re-energize him. But to Vivia’s surprise, Yuma refuses the offer outright.

“You look tired, Yuma… Are you…hungry? Do you need to feed? I will provide for you anytime you ask…”

“…No.”

This concerns Vivia but then he notices how pale and sickly Yuma looks, even more than usual. He puts his hand to Yuma’s cheek, but it wasn’t warm. Of course not, he’s a vampire. They probably don’t get fevers to begin with since vampire blood runs cold. But he definitely wasn’t well, that much was certain.

Vivia decides to slice the palm of his hand with his large boxknife he keeps in his pocket and places it in front of Yuma’s face.

“You…need to eat, Yuma… Even if it’s just a little bit…otherwise…you won’t feel any better…”

Yuma looks hesitant at first but then complies as the scent of Vivia’s blood does tempt his urges despite his weak state. He leans his head down slowly and weakly licks and laps the fresh cut on Vivia’s palm. He does it very slowly, but he has a small expression of relief. Even if he wasn’t well, he did still want to eat. But he didn’t want to consume large amounts of blood in this state, in his fear of possibly losing himself due to the weakness and sickly feeling that he felt.

He didn’t want to cause any further trouble for the agency, especially the Chief now that his secret was out to him. He also didn’t want to unexpectedly hurt anyone if his blood urges had gone out of control. It wasn’t safe for him to be blood drunk right now.

At least, that was his worry since he didn’t really understand how his vampiric urges worked due to his amnesia. But he didn’t want to take any chances if his current state wasn’t in good condition. He couldn’t risk causing any more trouble for everyone.

Even if that meant… starving himself.

Thankfully, this small amount of blood that Vivia provided for him seemed to suffice well enough. He stops lapping the cut, looking up to his tall human partner above him.

“…Thank you…Vivia…”

After a very small feeding, he transforms into his little lilac bat form and he tries to fly. But he was still too weak as he falls downward face down toward the floor. But Vivia catches him in his hands just in time.

“You’re too weak, Yuma… I will offer more to you…after you rest for a bit…”

Yuma spends the rest of the day resting/sleeping on Vivia’s hair/lap/shoulder/arms. The poor thing was trembling the whole time. And Vivia continued to feed Yuma very small amounts of his blood whenever he looked too weak, to which the tiny sickly bat would slowly lap up like a delicate little newborn kitten. Over time, Vivia ends up with multiple cuts on his left arm.

Later, Yakou enters the sub safely after seeing that the two were not doing anything TOO weird while they were alone. Seeing Yuma in bat form probably meant they were done. But then he looks to Vivia in shock noticing his left arm is covered in bloody self inflicted wounds.

“Vivia!? What happened to your arm?! Okay, what kind of crazy blood ritual did you two do this time?!”

Vivia gently places his right uninjured hand to where Yuma lay, and a soft weak sounding squeak came from the tiny little bat as he was touched. Yakou also settled his freakout down as he heard the weak bat’s cry.

“Yuma is…not feeling well so…I’m giving him only small amounts of my blood for now… But the blood of the cuts…don’t stay fresh forever…”

“Oh, I see… well that’s not good. Is there anything I can do to help?”

“Just…leave Yuma to me, Chief…”

Yakou didn’t argue. After all, he had no idea how to care for a sick vampire.

“Okay, but don’t you dare die from blood loss, you hear me?!”

Vivia smiled without saying a word further.

It looked like it was now Vivia’s turn to look after and take care of his weak little vampire partner for the day. Time to repay the favor for all the times he looked after him.

thinking about how one of the last things john ever tells dean is an admittance that the way he treated him was fucked. & of course this destroys dean and makes it so much harder for him to come to terms w his death right after and with his childhood in general bc he’s spent his entire life chasing after johns approval. he’s spent his entire life telling himself that the way he was treated was okay and justified and that their childhood was good because he could handle it and he was strong enough and that was how it had to be. he’s worshipped john as a hero and seen nothing wrong with any of it. because he’s had to. his entire life is built around this idea there’s nothing else. he’s his dads perfect soldier and punching bag and wife-replacement and suddenly his dads gone & he said he’s sorry and that he shouldn’t have treated dean that way. what the hell is he supposed to do now.

What's amazing about "Merrybelle and the silver rose" (besides the silver rose of the title being a reference to Edgar himself as a vampirnella) is that she discovers she's the bastard daughter of duque Evans, the half sister of Oswald, and you could argue, given I think she's not told about Lucius being a bastard who doesn't share a father with her, also sister to Lucius of whom she was enamored.

Kid you not, unless Edgar tells her later about Lucius she won't know, bc Oswald had the opportunity but he only confirms to Lucius he's not related to Merrybelle; as far as Oswald knows Merrybelle herself has no idea she's related to the Evans and so says nothing. The duchess is content to stay silent now she has lost Lucius to her fears and is probably trying to atone for all her bad actions by raising Merrybelle. The duke is all too happy to just have his lost daughter back. I don't think anybody told Merrybelle anything at all poor girl.

Edgar though was stalking her and the Evans for three years so I think he probably knew Lucius wasn't blood related to them.

And I can't imagine he'd be so chill with the idea of Merrybelle marrying Lucius if he knew his beloved sister was unknownwingly committing incest.

So unless Edgar told her after everything, Merrybelle would go on thinking she fell in love/infatuation with her half brother.

We don't see her react to this, bc she realises this the moment she also decides to kill the demon!Edgar, aka the same day as the night she decides to flee with him after all.

And even if she knows the truth after, it's not told on page, bc the important thing is the incest haunting that story ( even Oswald! He likes her enough he only renounces his courting of her bc he realises they're blood related), revealing her origins and throwing light on her relationship with Edgar.

Edgar who straight up abducts her in the middle of the night, unable to commit to his vow of letting her get over her grief for Lucius and live as a ward/adopted daughter of the Evans. He wants her to never forget him, and he feels sorry for Lucius, and he loves his little sister so so much, wants to protect her forever.... The moment she hugs him, and tells Edgar she was waiting for him in tears, Merrybelle's humanity is forfeit.

He needs her to survive the loneliness of bring a vampirnella even if he doesn't want to recognize it. It's the same reason he takes off with Alan after all.

Much to think about.

I'm telling you Moto Hagio went for the Gothic with capital G.

Note: So Lucius Evans is Eustace Evans in the English edition? Uh. Same as Merrybelle in Spain becoming Marybelle in the English translation I guess.
