sorry for always being spotty with activity, however, i’m struggling and trying to learn to be comfortable with my art again, so i’ve but this rp blog on a backburner for now since i can’t bring it to myself to write more than a few times.

climbing trees is a bit different as an adult. different in the sense that his weight has become drastically different than the weight adorned by his former, tinier six-year old self and that his height has stretched exponentially through the years that, although agile, maneuvering through tangles of branches has become more troublesome than he had previously imagined. not to mention, the act of tree-climbing has been labelled as a juvenile staple for as long as social traditions spanned, so to see someone of his stature (twenty-three, one-eighty-one centimeters, not a kid) participating in a pastime so obscure in monochromatic seoul (conservative, conformative) must have been undoubtedly bizarre-- or why else would there be someone peering up at him, a miffed expression streaking across their features? 

“-- hey!” once their shouts finally become too repetitive to ignore, kiha glances downwards, eyes wide as he shouts back with a buck-toothed grin. one hand removes itself from the branch he’s balanced himself on in order to wave downwards, as if he knew the stranger. he hadn’t planned for further interactions, head craning back upwards to transfix upon the silver necklace that had summoned him up within the leaves in the first place, until the gears within his head finally works and he snaps his gaze back downwards.

 “oh! is this yours?” he points up at the accessory, shimming slightly upon the branch as he calculates his next best move. “i was planning on taking it-- and selling it later!”

Knightwatch’s aired their June 29th broadcast with a live footage of Synergy’s latest domestic operation. Hitting phenomenal ratings, Knightwatch peaked at their highest viewer count last night as a spontaneous identity reveal left viewers in shock at the latest face to bless the hero industry. SYNERGY’S WEN (23) opens up to the public through blood, sweat, and staggering determination. 

Since it’s broadcast, Wen has become the hottest topic in pop media. “Wen Reveal” “Synergy’s Wen” “Yeo Minhwan” “Knightwatch” “Yeo family” “Hero Broadcast” have all become trending topics since the reveal of Synergy’s Wen (real name: Yeo Minhwan) was released live. Hitting top searches on sites and online portals like Naver, Twitter, Dispatch, JG Heroics, and foreign sites such as Weibo. Not even an hour after it was aired, clips of Wen’s reveal skyrocketed to the millions. “A refreshing visual to the hero industry”, “Not only good proportions, handsome and brave as well”, “A cool oppa/hyung, no longer an innocent bird” Wen’s reveal was met with many positive reactions. 

However, is Wen’s reveal a secret double-ended blade? Along with Wen predominately topping searches, “Nero” “Archvillain Nero” “Yeo Minjun” “Nero Attacks” “Boy 16″ “DOH Erasure” and “Neo-Villain Movement” searches have steadily begun to rise up the search rankings. Wen’s declaration of revengence towards Nero and the rest of his previously presumed disbanded league has drawn concern to both the Department of Heroes and civilians alike. Despite the implications of danger lurking near, hero fanatics remain optimistic. 

‘Synergy and Wen are going to change the game for sure,” one fan reports, “If the speculation is true that the Department of Heroes is covering up for villains to fabricate peace among civilians, then I’m glad that a hero is finally speaking out and determined to serve proper justice.”

Synergy and other leagues are  rumored to meet with the Department of Heroes for a conference on July 3rd to converse about the current climate of the hero industry and, assumingly, the speculation and prevention of a new villain movement rising.

                ‘   okay , it’s not like i want any trouble… you don’t have to look so scared ? ’   maybe, he was reading the whole situation wrong , though he puts his arms up , to show he wasn’t some sort of threat .  the mutant stares at them intently ; carefully watching. cloud wanted to be safe.   ‘   i’m just looking for my idiot house mate and knowing him he’s probably passed by here…   ’  and knowing that idiot , he’s probably in trouble . 

anxiety becomes him.  anxiety becomes him in the manner that, as the moon rises high in the sky and the streets becomes less and less riddled with people, he becomes more and more antsy as he steps alongside allies with wide eyes and hands balled against his chest. he has to find out what kiha and yunyeong are doing. chestnut hues dart to and fro, thick brows strewn upwards as a frown paints itself against full lips. he knows his co-performers are doing something illicit, something treacherous and beyond their control--- something he wants to help them with, to get out of. 

but he can’t find them.  instead, he crosses paths with a stranger. a stranger that manages to frazzle him so badly as a gasp knocks itself out of quaking lungs. shaking, malachai gives to steps back, lips fumbling as words fail to escape him.

“i--- i--” fingers wrung against one another and he finally manages to twitch an uncomfortable grin. “i--- sorry. it’s just--” coughing, he waved a dismissive hand in front of him, “i just get startled easily.”  he dares to lift his gaze to meet the other’s features and, deeming him not a threat, gains some sort of reassurance that allows for his nerves to calm.
