Combining three things guaranteed (unverified-source required) to keep a kid from shutting the lights off in the daycare, this silly fella is what I drew on @daycarefriendpickup's latest Magma.

The glue for the googly eyes and button was originally regular white glue, but I eventually came to my senses and used the correct type.

Also, I almost made the legs/pants look like that rough sketch and no, I have no idea why when I had the arms done accordion style in that same exact picture.

This is probably the only soulmate au I'll ever do so enjoy

Soulmate au where your soul mark turns black when your soulmate dies

Danny and Jason are soulmates. The problem? Both of their soul marks are black. Sure, they came back, but not in a typical way, so each thinks the other is dead

So what do we get? Longing. Two guys longing for a love they thought lost to them, thinking tenderly of a future they don't think they could have, even without the added craziness of their lives. Standing on rooftops, smoking in the cold november air, their breath indistinguishable from the smoke, their spent cigarettes flicked off the edge like discount shooting stars, lamenting their fates, probably to each other for the dramatic irony of it all

they both get it. The quiet kind of grief, longing for somebody they never got the chance to know, thinking about how things could have been different, how the should have been different. That understanding is what draws them towards each other

and then? Jason sees Danny's mark, Jason shows his own, they stare at each other, silent for a moment, before arms wrap around the other, lips pressed together, and quiet tears fall like rain to the rooftop beneath their feet

Danny learns while being held by the Giw that he can in fact make portals. For whatever reason he can call the portal even with anti ecto cuffs. They start out small and unstable. Disappearing with the blink of an eye.

It’s only when he is being dissected it’s a fully formed portal. Only lasting long enough to engulf him. Table and all.

He has no idea where he’ll end up. All he knows is it’s somewhere on earth and he is still strapped to the table.

Some potential places he could end up. The Kent’s barn, in front of Martian manhunter, in the middle of the gala, the middle of a legion of doom meeting, the middle of the justice league, maybe even in the middle of a Wayne family dinner.

i am rotating in my head the whole scene with qfit and qpac and the eye/purgatory workers

the whole moment asking for the date getting interrupted and qpac getting frustrated (lmao), the way they protected eachother, qfit taking the first step the second he saw qpac panic, qphilza with the octopus (that killed me akjsbdjkjfb), the moment qpac took care of qfit's back while qfit was defending him, and the second they saw the other kept getting hit they started fighting...

all of that... rotating on my brain

they just take care and trust eachother, they're so protective of the other... these two mean so much to me :(((
