Israel violating 1979 Peace Accord and slanders now Egypt
The corridor is part of a larger demilitarized zone along the entire Israel-Egypt border. Under the peace accord, each side is allowed to deploy only a small number of troops or border guards in the zone, though those numbers can be modified by mutual agreement. At the time of the accord, Israeli troops controlled Gaza, until Israel withdrew its forces and settlers in 2005.
Tunnels! Like the non-existing ones of Al Shifa Hospital where instead very real mass graves were found once Israeli forces evacuated...

What’s the Philadelphi Corridor?
The Philadelphi Corridor, also known as the Philadelphi Route, is the 14km (8.7-mile) long strip of land that represents the entirety of the border area between Gaza and Egypt.
It was established as a buffer zone controlled and patrolled by Israeli armed forces as part of the 1979 peace treaty with Egypt that ended Israel’s occupation of the Sinai Peninsula and reopened the Suez Canal.
Its stated purpose was to stop weapons and material from reaching the hands of Palestinians inside the Gaza Strip, which Israel occupied, and to prevent people from moving between the Palestinian lands and Egypt without tough checks.
“It must be shut. It is clear that any other arrangement would not ensure the demilitarisation that we seek,” Netanyahu said on Saturday, also signalling the war may last many more months.
Where does Egypt stand on this?
In 2005, Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip under international pressure and instead turned the densely populated Palestinian land into the world’s largest open-air prison.
Egypt became the main player in control of the corridor, which signifies the only link with the outside world not controlled by Israel – as Tel Aviv maintains a land, sea and air blockade of the strip from all other sides.

August 30, 2024 - Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu reportedly told Defense Minister Gallant that he was prioritizing maintaining troops in the Philadelphi Corridor over saving the lives of the remaining hostages.
"It was the latest evidence of the divide between Netanyahu and the security establishment. Gallant and the security chiefs have repeatedly pushed Netanyahu for more compromise in the negotiations, particularly regarding the Philadelphi Corridor, fearing that the premier’s hardline positions are scuttling a deal."
Gallant confronts Netanyahu
"Gallant then told the cabinet they faced a choice: to remain in the corridor or to return the hostages. “You are deciding to stay in the Philadelphi Corridor. Is this logical to you? There are living (hostages) there!” Gallant exclaimed. Dermer replied, “The prime minister can do as he likes,” to which Gallant responded, “The prime minister can indeed make all the decisions, and he can also decide to kill all the hostages.”
Hostage families forum horrified by cabinet quotes
The Hostage and Missing Families Forum responded to the leaked quotes from the security cabinet meeting by demanding that Netanyahu publicly declare that he has given up on the lives of hostages in favor of continued IDF presence on the Philadelphi Corridor. “The quotes from the cabinet meeting should cause every Israeli citizen to lose sleep,” the forum said in a statement. “Every citizen should know that if they are to be kidnapped from their bed in their pajamas on a Saturday morning, their prime minister will do everything to keep his seat, even at the cost of leaving them to die in the Hamas tunnels in Gaza.”

“He died for me,” ... lightened her darkened soul
One of the most hopeless cases ever brought into the Moyamensing Prison in Philadelphia, U.S., was a woman, who was convicted of a crime of violence. She was a huge, fierce animal, who had been born and had lived in the slums of Alaska Street. She was a drunkard and dissolute from childhood. The chaplain, after she had been under his charge for six months, shook his head hopelessly and passed by her cell without a word. One day the matron, taking a bunch of scarlet flowers from her hat, threw them to “Deb” carelessly, with a pleasant word or two. The woman started in astonishment, and then thanked her earnestly.
The next day the matron saw the flowers, each leaf straightened and smoothed, pinned up on the wall of the cell. Deb, in a gentle voice, called attention to them, praised their beauty, and tried, in her clumsy way, to show the pleasure they had given her. “That woman,” said the matron to the chaplain, “has the rarest of all good qualities. She is grateful. There is one square inch of good ground in which to plant your seed.”
The matron herself planted the seed. Every day she showed some little kindness to the poor, untamed creature, who was gradually softened and subdued simply by affection for this, her first friend, whom she followed like a faithful dog: By and by, the matron took her as a helper in the ward, a favor given only to the convicts whose conduct deserved reward. The matron’s hold upon the woman grew stronger each day. At last she told her the story of the Savior’s love and sacrifice. Deb listened with wide, eager eyes. “He died for me—me!” she said.
The matron gave up her position, but when Deb was discharged she took her into her house as a servant, trained, taught her, cared for her body and soul, always planting her seeds in that “one inch of good ground.”
Deb is now a humble Christian. “He died for me,” was the thought which lightened her darkened soul.

On ne sait pas de quel type de véhicule il s'agissait", a ajouté le capitaine Derrick Bowmer, des sapeurs-pompiers de Philadelphie, lors d'une conférence de presse. Des informations de presse ont fait état d'un camion-citerne en feu."

In the nearly two decades since Hamas took control of Gaza, Egypt has permitted the terrorist organization to construct a vast network of tunnels under their shared border. These tunnels have been exploited for illicit activities, including the smuggling of vehicles, weapons, and rockets. However, since Israel regained control of the Philadelphia Corridor just over a month ago, a staggering 170 tunnels have been discovered and demolished. This revelation highlights the extent of Hamas' clandestine operations and underscores the necessity of Israeli oversight. Given the history of neglect and complicity by neighboring countries, Israel cannot rely on any entity other than the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to secure the corridor and prevent future tunnel construction.
WE WILL KEEP THE CORRIDOR 💯🇮🇱♥️
