flashbacks of bakugo "helping" deku figure out the black whip ig -- wait shit, so deku now also has an ability called Float that just lets him Peter Pan. …or just levitate ig, apparently he needs the other stuff to actually move -- all might: "you're helping him learn his powers to atone for your past actions. but he probably never thought about it" these two make no goddamn sense. bakugo is still every bit as abusive, not only towards deku, but towards every person he interacts with, as he was when we first met him. he's never shown any trace of regretting being that way. hell, he also just got done spelling out that he can't understand that deku values and cares about other people, that that quality of deku's is repulsive to him. -- bakugo is just… is just wired in such a way, whether by nature or nurture or both, that he needs help becoming anything but several kinds of danger to other people. and he'll never get it, and he'll somehow continue to be portrayed as some kind of, for lack of a better word, "quirky" hero.

& we're back, back again, Chloe's back in time AU, tell a friend!

Gods that opening is so good, and really contrasts how Purrge is perceived VS how she is if that makes sense. Dangerous thief mysteriously vanishes, VS, Chloe ran the hell away from emotions and self destructs in isolation. Its interesting how this also contrasts how her breakdowns tended to work in canon, in public it was all spectacle and performance, when alone she might break something but then she'd curl up in despair. So many facades and layers.

But I digress, amazing work conveying the sensations and emotions roiling just beneath the skin and her violent desperation to remove them. Also very curious about what Plaagg meant by: "Kid, what’s happening. I actually caught some of that."

But god the punching scene, her knuckles must be a fucking disaster zone now, I love Plagg's obvious distress and concern and fixing her hair, so sweet! Also, Ooh Adrien you gave her an existential crisis to work through, I love it, poor kid.

Solid into to the next scene, great framing for the press's involvement in the spectacle and their perspective on thing. & then those descriptions for Adrien's hero form, gosh, the design is already great, especially the ghostlike hands, but also just the vibe, the flow of motion and movements, all of it is so good!

I legit can see Adrien being a really good Fox honestly. Also I LOVE Trixx, so much agency, such will, and n shortage of personality. Plus you kept their penchant to be extremely honest but cunning with their words, I am deeply intrigued by this evolving dynamic, as before I think Trixx will also be a good fit for Adrien in many ways. The fact he still wants to approach Chloe, or did he mean Ladybug is interesting in either case.

Bittersweet lead out, but fitting.

As before I fucking love Testidune, the fact she was just standing atop a mountain of knight bodies is badass, dramatic and a little hilarious. I suddenly feel like she and Purrge may work well together XD Also really solid work showing Alya's analytical mind at work throughout, she puts this stuff together so swiftly! Also I am liking her and Wayzz's dynamic and oooh, I love seeing Alya involved before she's totally in on Ladybug, the fact we actually see her little perspective flip is so good.

Oooh a scene I haven't seen, interesting, love the "Traded sleep for espresso" XD Also really solid build up of all her anxieties, her & Adrien's dynamic is evolving in fascinating ways.

The Alya segment was so good, of course she'd try and Peter Parker this stuff, her enthusiasm is so good and poor Marinette literally the only person with the knowledge that someone else had the turtle beforehand who's be bothered by that fact XD

Yeeees, Nino, being a bro, love to see it, and oh damn Chloe did indeed fuck up her wrist! Gosh Alya is straining to keep all this stuff secret, I love it, and Marinette, oh Marinette, she is not on the sidelines anymore~ Nice to see Marinette still has her optimism!

I like that my queen is just Pollen's default, and how physically and emotionally passive you convey them as it fits well with what we saw of Pollen. Fu's exhaustion and the injuries and his sheer aching sense of despair comes off very well but oh dear he's doubling down on the worst coping mechanism he has.

Also very interesting he picked up on Chloe possibly having beef with the Guardian by default. A shame he can't ask Sass about it XD Very nice lead out, it tied tings up in a neat little bow, kudos all round!

Crossing Blades: ML Fanfiction Chapter 3/3

Chapter 3

Purrge stopped when she was sure she wasn’t followed. She had left them behind, but not the sensations. Not that stupid smile, not the feeling of working in tandem with someone. Not saving and being saved, not the victory hard earned; they lingered unwelcome.

She dug at her uniform with clawed hands, but the feeling was on the inside. It was on the roof of her mouth, the backs of her knees, it was churning in her stomach and working its way up to her chest. It was a tickle and an itch. It was something long forgotten and frightening. It hurt.

Purrge squeezed her eyes shut and dug her claws into her palms. Not enough.

“Plagg Claws in!” The green flash.

“Kid? Kid, what’s happening. I actually caught some of that. What- Kid!”

The brickwork was rough against her knuckles, the first punch sent sparks up her wrist. The second jolted up to her elbow. The third-

“Kid!”

Again.

“Kid!”

Again. Hurt.

“Kid!”

It hurt; not enough. She slumped to the ground and pavement replaced bricks as her target.

“Kid!”

Again. Again. Again. The pain grew, numbed, spread, overtook what scared her. Her knuckles left their own tears, echoing those on her cheeks.

Plagg bit her ear. She yelped. It broke the cadence. Chloé cradled her hand. The throbbing was intense, familiar, safe.

“Kid, Chloé, what was that?” Small paws smoothed her hair.

She didn’t even know. “I just-”

The numbness wasn’t enough. The pain inside threatened to come back. She swallowed a whimper. Then a sudden flash came to her. Herself, but not, down in the square; yelling at the akuma. Who was it? It was her right down to the intonation. Is that the real Chloé? Is she out there?

The idea that she might be found out, that she was a fake, made her stomach lurch. In that queasiness there was relief. Unease was a blanket stretched taut over her, suffocating, comfortable.

She could raise her head again, “Something needed to be broken, that’s all. Destruction, right?”

Chloé fluffed her ponytail and examined her knuckles critically. This would be a job and a half for her skin care regimen. Plagg circled her head once then swooped in and peered up at her with his luminous green eyes.

“Hmmmm…”

Chloé scoffed, “What hmm?” She turned her head to look away.

“Nothin’ I guess. You gonna get home and get that looked at? I’m starving!”

Chloé stood and brushed herself off. If she was an imposter, did what happened to her even matter? That thought was comforting too. “Yes, let’s. I don’t want Daddy trying to get all nosy again.”

She was several blocks away when she realized Plagg hadn’t slipped back into her cardigan. Instead the cat kwami had nestled himself inside her ponytail. She could feel him, curled up.

She tried not to think about it.

The square got very busy after the fight was over. News crews descended like ants at a picnic, but quickly dispersed again once they’d picked over the crumbs on offer. It was when things were quiet again that a shadow detached itself from the roof of Le Grand Paris. The slight figure crept into the light for a fraction of an instant before leaping away.

If anyone was watching they would have seen a figure much akin to the new heroes of the city. Orange and white, overlarge floppy fox-ears clung low to the sides of its head, hiding muted blond hair. A long poncho obscured the body beneath, leaving its thin fingered hands to appear floating and ghostlike. Thin tights-clad legs moved quickly to propel the figure from rooftop to rooftop, the blur of motion giving them a mirage-like quality.

No one was looking though, and it was visible for only a handful of seconds. Without warning it dropped, slipping between two rooftops into a seemingly too-narrow divide. Paris life went on, unaware.

An orange glow left Adrien back in civilian clothes, pressed front and back between dirty once-white walls. The fox kwami that formed out of the glow was regarding him with crossed paws and a considering gaze.

Adrien shifted, trying to be sure he could actually wiggle his way out of his hiding space, “I feel bad not helping them, Trixx.”

The kwami gestured dismissively, “They did fine. If what you told me is true, you did help in your own way, right? You need to learn to think about the long game.”

Adrien thought, then asked, “This isn’t about you being worried if I get Plagg back, right?”

Trixx’s ears swiveled, “I was right about you. You can be very clever when you put your mind to it.”

He swooped in so close that Adrien went cross eyed trying to focus on him.

“Don’t you worry about me, blondie. I found you, remember. I can make my own way.” He huffed and turned, floating towards the end of the alley, “Plagg couldn’t have fooled everyone today.”

Adrien squirmed his way to the entrance too, peeking to see if the coast was clear. “Thank you, Trixx. I hope I can figure out how to approach her, with time.”

Trixx turned back to grin, “It’s possible to convince anyone of anything, if you do it right. They don’t call me Trixx for nothing. Now get me a bunch of grapes. Green! Not red.”

Trixx ducked into Adrien’s shirt. As Adrien slipped out onto the sidewalk he thought to himself, at least my room will smell better.

He’d miss it though.

Testudine stood astride a mound of armored bodies when the Miraculous Ladybugs swept through. The rush of millions of magical bugs deposited her on the ground, her opponents returned from whence they came.

Still, she looked around before she dropped her guard. Vitality pumped through her veins, unflagging. She had fought off a platoon, then another. Every foe she defeated was replaced by two more. They had been endless, but so was her determination.

Normal civilian heads began poking themselves out of doors and windows. She decided it was safe and turned back to her charge, “So, how do I take this-”

He was gone.

She searched the rest of the dead end, even places too small for a person to fit, nothing. One part of her worried. The larger part felt a sudden thrill. He’d left the miraculous with her. Was she a new Ladybug? A new TESTUDINE, she corrected mentally.

A second problem presented itself. After a moment of thinking, she tried her luck. “Wayzz, shell… off?”

A flash of green energy, and she was just Alya again. A little turtle-like creature floated in front of her, looking around worriedly.

“Um, hi?” she tried.

He startled and then bowed his head low to her, “Greetings, master. Have you seen…. A small old man around anywhere?”

Alya did the math, “He was here. He gave me the miraculous to defend him. I know no one got by, but he was still gone when the fighting stopped. “ She clarified, “Are you Wayzz?”

Her answer seemed to satisfy the creature, surprisingly. He nodded. “I am. If I was left with you, then it was for a good reason, Master. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

Alya itched for her phone. She needed to record this. “Call me Alya.” She murmured distractedly. “So you know a lot about the Miraculous? Can you fill me in?”

Wayzz nodded again, small hands coming together, “I shall endeavor to answer all the questions you have.”

Alya grinned, “Oh you have no idea what you just agreed to.”

Marinette scurried into school, slouching into her seat on time for once. The fact that she hadn’t slept much accounted for that. Between pumping Tikki for information, going on quick loops as Ladybug to see if the Guardian found her again, hemming and hawing about visiting Adrien, trying to take down notes about what was happening and how she felt, and general anxiety, she had traded espresso for bed.

Adrien… Ladybug left him a note. She wanted to know what happened, but worried how it might make him feel to face her after passing on a second Miraculous. She knew it must have been something extreme. There was no way it was his fault. She had said as much in her note.

 I know you had your reasons, and we won so you made the right call. We can talk about it later. I’ll miss the chance to work with you again though, partner.

More worrying was the Guardian. Where had he gone? What did he want from her? She wanted to help others, but she wanted answers too. The Marinette who slumped into her seat felt like she was on shakier ground than the one who first battled Stoneheart. The one bright spot was the parting ‘Thanks’. Something in that unexpected gratitude warmed her. She held onto it.

“Hey girl! What an amazing morning it is, right? Sun’s shining, birds singing, and Paris has some new heroes!” Alya was a whirlwind.

Her friend leaned over from her side of the bench and put an arm around marinette. It was comforting briefly, then Alya shook her while emitting a high pitched,”Eeeeeeeeeeeee!”

Marinette fobbed her off gently, “It’s just another akuma. Yeah, there was another hero, but they needed him just to win.”

“Him? Alya chirped, “oh right, the hoodie guy. I saw a couple blurry photos. I’m here for the turtle girl!”

“Turtle… girl?” That didn’t make sense. She’d been sure Jade Turtle was a guy, at least at first glance.

“Yes!” Alya beamed. She stuck her phone under Marinette’s nose. “She was fighting like, half an army down by the river; all by herself! How cool is that? Her name is Testudine, and she is here to help protect Paris from any and all evil doers!”

She swiped through photos almost too fast for Marinette to track. It was definitely someone new. Another new hero? Another unknown factor. Had the Guardian given out this Miraculous because she wasn’t good enough?

Something stuck out to Marinette admid her self doubt. “It looks like she’s posing in a lot of these photos…”

Alya pulled her phone back quickly. “Oh? Uh-yeah. I was lucky. She was fighting right near where I ended up hiding. I got these right after the fight was over. That’s how I got her name too. I mean, how else would I? Haha…”

Alya fiddled with her phone and in the pause Marinette had time to register other arrivals. Adrien seemed down -that caused a pain in her chest- but Nino was chatting him up, and even stuck his headphones on Adrien’s head at one point. Chloé marched past Marinette on her way to the back and Marinette’s ingrained reflexes clicked into high gear. Chloé was wearing something on her left hand, a brace? A fashion accessory? Not enough gold and diamonds for that.

Bustier came in with the last of the stragglers, and Marinette had another few moments to try and digest. She wanted to talk to Tikki again about what another hero might mean. She wanted to meet this hero to see if they were another Purrge, or more like Refrain.

Most of all, she wanted a nap.

When a slip of paper was pushed in front of her she burbled incoherently. She looked up and Alya gave her a sympathetic smile, whispering, “Don’t feel you have to vote for me because we’re friends.”

Alya moved on, handing out more up one half of the room while Mylene handed them out on the other side. Marinette had to force her brain to put the pieces together. The class election seemed like it was a world away and she was quite sure she had just slept through the speeches with her eyes open.

She voted for Alya anyway.

Ms. Bustier went through them one by one, making tallies on the board. After one slip she spoke primly, “Ms. Bourgeois, see me after class.”

“You can’t prove it was me!” Came from above.

“Who else would know what I am talking about?” Ms. Bustier countered.

The final Tally was Mylene 7, Alya 4, one spoiled ballot.

While Mylene stuttered softly through a heartfelt thank you speech Alya let out a soft breath beside Marinette, “Thank God.”

Marinette gave her a funny look, “I know I nominated you, but I didn’t think you would hate it.”

Alya shook her head, “I just realized I am going to be way too busy to do a good job. I have school and super hero stuff- -the blog. You know, keeping up my superhero blog. It’ll take more time with all these awesome new heroes.”

Marinette smiled as Alya’s enthusiasm finally infected her. There were new heroes. One she knew and trusted, and another who might be a friend too. Marinette did envy Alya the ability to watch it all from the sidelines, but it wasn't in Marinette's blood to leave things to others when she could help. Her eyes settled on Adrien in the front row and that was another slowly growing source of warmth.

She might still be in over her head, but she was not alone.

“My Queen, are you unwell?” The little bee kwami remained perfectly still once she appeared, though concern creased her small features.

“No… well perhaps. I am sick in spirit, Pollen. I cannot find my center.

Pollen looked down to the box. The entire upper layer was now empty, and Wayzz was nowhere to be seen. She spoke softly, “Is there any way I can help, My Queen?”

Master Fu touched the spot behind his ear where the comb had become a small fetish clip to disguise itself in his sparse hair. He lowered his hand, but reached up to touch it again before answering. “I do not think so, Pollen. After so long protecting them, I have lost possession of some of the most powerful Miraculous in the box, and very nearly lost much more than that.”

The turtle Miraculous had taken away much of the pain of the encounter, but the savagery of the beating he had suffered at the hands of the cat had felt personal. Yet-

His life had still been his at the end of it, and the turtle as well. He had no idea what to make of it and fear churned easily in a mind used to running. The urge to run again was overwhelming, but what would it mean, leaving so many Miraculous free?

Pollen had no supportive wisdom forthcoming. She was not Wayzz. Instead she waited to do his bidding without question. Master Fu ached for his friend.

“We must be careful, Pollen. I must be more cautious than I have been. I let action blind me. I cannot risk losing three every time I try to recover one. It seems I must put my trust in this young generation, and hope I chose well.”

Pollen dipped in the air, “Delegating is wise, My Queen. May I suggest honey for your tea tonight? It soothes the nerves.”

Fu took a deep breath and let it out. Even having made his choice, he was unsettled. I must endure, even with my endurance gone.

“I think that would be very welcome, Pollen.”

The Mask 1994

*I finally wrote the whole thing. I finally watched the movie that involved something I’ve been talking about A LOT. I think this took about an hour since I finished the movie. Forgot to mention Charlie.*

I wanna make this clear, even before I watched movie or ever writing this. I am legitimately a stupid and lazy person. Because my mom told me about this, and last week, my dad rented A Quiet Place Part 2. When I was trying to go to sleep but was looking up movies...I literally forgot my tv can do that too...and that I can rent or buy a movie...I rented the movie this morning, and deleted it afterwards...after all that talk...I could’ve done that...wow. I should do that more considering some movies I wanna see or like. Not too much though. My tv has DirecTV. Just a heads up.

But a few or couple of minutes ago, I finally watched The Mask film from 1994. This post is gonna be filled with spoilers and it’s gonna get long. Gonna be kind of a review. My overall thoughts on it. This was my first reaction to the whole movie.

I’d just wanna talk about this too. I like comic books, I like comic book movies. Mainly my favorites are ones like all of Zack Snyder’s DCEU movies, Spider-Man 1 & 2, The Suicide Squad 2021, Wonder Woman 2017, The Dark Knight(Despite whatever issues I have with it), and Joker 2019. Yeah, those are mainly DC films and two Marvel related ones. I don’t even mind Spider-Man 3 as well. I also forgot Dredd 2012 is another one of my favorites. Along with Batman 1989.

I was hoping The Mask could make that list of favorites. Because I read the comics first. I don’t think I ever watch the movie fully as a kid MAYBE. I’m a fan of the comics, I know this movie was gonna be a lighter take on the series. 

In a nutshell...I liked it. It’s possible it will be on that list of favorite CBM’s...but I want to talk about it. I’ll also admit I think what got me interested in seeing this film and this series was me liking Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura...now, let’s get to the point.

Yeah, I liked it. I thought the movie was genuinely entertaining. Despite seeing some clips before. But also Ryan Hollinger’s video about it. Revealing the ending, the twist, and other stuff. But I didn’t wanna watch more more that I haven’t seen yet.

I will be honest, it still made me laugh. Even some scenes I already have seen. I will admit, the Cuban Pete scene is actually one of my favorites. XD But what also surprised me is that at times, despite being a funny film. It can genuinely be touching in a way. And I am mainly talking about the developing relationship between Stanley and Tina.

I just wanna talk about the characters right now. I’ll just admit unless I haven’t already. I’m a Jim Carrey fan. Mainly because of his more goofier roles. Particularly his roles from the Ace Ventura movies, Liar Liar, and especially Sonic The Hedgehog. I also will admit this, Jim Carry nails playing Big Head or who they call...The Mask in this movie...I’ll nitpick about that later.

But yeah, Jim’s entertaining as Big Head in this film. He does make me laugh. But I think another role he does well despite there are some sillier moments, which is fine. I feel like in a way, Stanley Ipkiss in this version, is maybe one of his more normal roles. But I know I’m wrong considering whatever other roles he’s in. He portrays a likable good guy who’s sadly mainly pushed around. Which is quite the difference from the comics, except being pushed around. But that’s another topic. Yet for this story, even if maybe Stanley’s name could be changed. But him being a genuinely kind guy works for this story.

Even before I saw the movie, learning more about this version about the character. I can relate to Stanley in some ways honestly. Which is something that I like. He basically shines as a protagonist. 

He portrays both sides well. Despite at times...honestly, this Stanley is wacky. I shouldn’t be judging. Jim does a good stuff with what he played, and he’s the highlight of this movie. He also delivers possibly my favorite Jim Carrey line of all time now. Sorry if I get this wrong. I was looking for a clip of it to help me.

“Daddy’s gonna go kick some ass”. A literal line from Jim Carrey in this movie and I love it. He even brings a pistol with him.

I also wanna admit Peter Greene as Dorian is pretty good as a villain. The dude can be threatening and he works with what he is given. And he’s effective as an antagonist. I just wanna admit that I swear, one of these guys. One of them could’ve Walter in a way and I just think that could’ve been possible. But I’m not sure. Just one of Dorian’s henchmen looked like a huge guy. It just got me thinking about Walter from the comics.

Will admit, I think Kellaway is fine. And I just found out Christopher Reeve was one of the actors considered for the role...damn. But again, Kellaway was fine. He’s more like a supporting character and again, this is like an origin story. I do feel bothered Lionel Ray wasn’t added but replaced with this Doyle character. I will admit that Doyle is silly, which is the point of his character. I guess the writers and director didn’t want two sensible cops or something. I like Kellaway alright, but I’ll always dig Lionel too.

I really wanted to get this point. I thought Cameron Diaz was good as Tina Carlyle and Amy Yasbeck as Peggy Brandt. I will admit, I do strangely like the subversion with Peggy in a way with it’s twist. I get the idea if that it was going for that theme of, “We all wear mask” and Peggy turning Stanley into the mob said a lot about her character. While Tina was genuinely the one that truly supported Stanley.

I think was surprised me more was the fact despite Peggy turned in Stanley for selfish purposes such as paying for her condo. Yet what surprised me more was she was actually concerned for Stanley being killed, and didn’t want him hurt...which explains even more why she stuck around in the cartoon. And honestly, it makes me glad the director took out that deleted scene of her getting killed. So she wasn’t that heartless.

Also...it made me think that...my ideas and changes towards her character...maybe hold some weight.

I’ll just put this out there too. Milo is great, one of my favorite fictional dogs maybe. Good dog.

Trying to think what else, the score was fine. But the licensed music was good or something. Overall, I think my negatives could be just...nitpicks. Such as the Big Head part I wanted to talk about. Listen, I understand this is a different version. I just feel it’s weird to call him, “The Mask” instead of Big Head. I know other characters mask in their name or something. But...some reasons, the name Big Head is there. I guess it’s because of the title or something.

Honestly, I think my negatives are more that it feels short. And maybe Stanley becoming Big Head a bit too early. I sound kind of stupid, I know. But this was the 90′s and whatever else. This was a different take on the comics. But I did genuinely like it. Maybe I’m just a bit attached to those comics. Despite knowing the changes they did.

But I will admit, considering the development for this film. And learning that it was meant to be a horror film. But the director Charles Russell found the violence in the source material to be off putting. So he made it less grim, and more fun. I’ve also read somewhere that trying to make comedy with that violence was difficult.

Back to the point, to be honest. I feel like for that time and age. A more light Mask film was maybe the best choice to go. And we wouldn’t have Jim Carrey in it. I do also wanna say, I feel like The Mask series, you can do a lot of it. You can have something dark with it, or maybe more lighter.

There are still some of those darker elements. Mainly considering the moments with the gangsters and all that. But I will admit, learning that Charles mostly directed horror films. I think it’s impressive he made a more family friendly film and it worked. 

I liked it, despite my love for the comics. I thought when writing this, maybe some folks reading this may think I sound like fans who read the comics who first experienced this movie. But the film isn’t bad, it’s just a different take and a pretty nice one at that.

And to be honest, as much as I would of loved to see an actual sequel. And not that bad film known as Son Of The Mask. I understand why Jim Carrey dropped out, and I would’ve loved to see Peggy back because the director planned to bring her back reformed. But I feel like this film works as a one off in a way. And there’s also the cartoon, which works fine as a sequel despite some differences. Yet...I’ll admit, I would’ve loved The Mask 2 if we got Jim Carrey as Stanley again fighting against maybe someone like Walter.

The Mask 1994 is a good film. Despite changes from the source material, but the changes for this vision work. It’s cool this film has a cult following, and the fact I have used elements and story beats from it for The Mask Rebirth stuff I’ve been talking about. Even before watched this whole movie.

It’s a genuine fun flick. But I’m hoping down the line, if Warner Bros stops being fucking stupid with how they run things. Maybe we’ll get a reboot or how about an animated film that seems more true to the source material. 

I know The Mask/Big Head doesn’t have a big legacy such as the likes of Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man. But I do think this series could be reimagined and expanded upon. Using elements not only from the original comics, but even the movie and cartoon. 

And...despite it was because of Ace Ventura...I would like to thank @kaijuguy19 for being such a supportive dude, and talking about this franchise with me. Including wanting to talk about this movie long ago when I haven’t seen it. But I want to say...no...he’s one of the big reasons why I’m a fan. Because he’s one of the only guys I know who’s a fan. It started with Ace Ventura, but it was because of talking with Kaijuguy that I guess things started to escalate. So thanks man for talking about this stuff with me.

Also, Charlie was silly and he was fine as a character. I forgot about that dude despite wanting to talk about him. Gonna tag him too in case. Charlie schumaker

    Once upon a time, Brian Wilson was daydreaming about girls going to the museum which was very educational. More educational than daydreaming about girls which is good for you which is why he was daydreaming about going to the museum instead of girls. 

    “Yoo hoo brothers!” he said. 

    “What is it, big brother?” shouted Dennis and Carl Wilson from another part of the Beach Boys ResidenceTM

    “I have decided to go to the museum which is a very educational activity for us to do which will be beneficial for us,” said Brian. “I will call our cousin, Michael Edward Love, and our friend, Alan Charles Jardine.”

    “Oh ok, big brother,” the two younger Wilsons said. “As soon as we get out of the shower and clothe ourselves (which will probably align with the arrival of our cousin, Michael Edward Love, and our friend, Alan Charles Jardine), we shall take off in the Beach Boy MobileTM to go to the museum as you wish.”

    “THE BEACH BOYS!” the bug boys ejected.

    “THE BEATLES!” the sand children exclaimed.

    “What a coincidence that we have bumped into you guys in the exact same museum,” said John Lennon. “I bet you were trying to sneak behind us and steal our songwriting ideas >:O”

    “Absolutely not >:O” said Brian Wilson, putting his hands on his hip in a gesture of frustration. “I bet YOU were trying to sneak behind us and steal OUR songwriting ideas”

    “We were not >:O” said Sir James Paul McCartney.

    They started fighting and in the moment of anger, they broke!! The statue of David (not Crosby unfortunately for the statue of David Crosby has cursed the museum for over a century now)!!!!!!!

“We can’t either,” said the Beach Boys (for they had already spent enough on getting a nintendo switch to play animal crossing: new horizons.

This is left the poor, poor Monkees. “Bruh we poor af.”

“Then you have to work to pay for it smh,” said The Manager of The Museum.

“OH NO!” said all of them at once.

“You must go around the museum to find three fragments of the broken statue that you have broken, which somehow have been transported into the museum which you must complete challenges to get!”

“Like Dora the Explorer?” asked George Harrison, the youngest member of the Beatles. 

    “Yea,” saidThe Manager of The Museum. “Ok bye im gonna play animal crossing: new horizons now :))))))”

    “Ok. We must split up into three groups.”

BEACH BOYS SECTION - THE HALL OF THINGS THAT HAVE TO DO WITH WATER

    “Wow, how convenient is that we have coincidentally walked into the hall of things that have to do with water,” said Denny Wilson. “It is as this was planned.”

    And then…………………….”oh my god a wave,” said M*ke Love.

    “QUICKLY INTO THE BEACH GEAR” shouted Brian Wilson as they proceeded to use the sims animation to change into their beach gear. “NOW WE MUST.,,,,,,,,,,,,.,.,..,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,..,.,.,.,..,.,.,”

“We thro Dennise into da water bc he is da only 1 who can surf XD” said Mke Luv as he tossed Deniise into da water liKE A BOSS AND HI-FIVES ALL ROUND WAPOOSH WAPOOSH TAHK YOU GUYS FOR WATCHING AND I’LL SEE U IN THE NEXT VIDEO!!! *outro plays*

    “Lol yeah,” said Stephen.

    Micky screamed.

    “Here you go broski,” said Stephen Stills, handing them a fragment.

    “But what did we do?” asked Mike Nesmith.

    “Allowing the author to make the awful, often repeated annoying joke about me and Peter Halsten Thorkelson looking like identical twins.”

    “Ok thanks brewski,” said the Monkees as they headed off. “Come on Peter, don’t just stand there.”

    “But I’m Stephen.”

    “Wait,” said Davy. “But Peter was standing there just now.”

    “No, I was standing there.”

    The Monkees looked at each other and had a collective sigh. It was not gonna be as easy as they thought.

    And to make this complication more complicated, the author decided to make David Crosby, Graham Nash and Neil Young walk into the scene.

    “Bro Stephen wtf,” said Neil. “I knew you were small but I didn’t think you could crawl into the vents like that.”

    “But I’m Peter??????????”

    “Oh no not again,” said Graham Nash, already getting another headache.

    “Wait, wait wait, just a moment,” said Davy Jones. “Go back a bit. What do you mean by crawling through the vents.”

    “Please do not question the plot,” threatened David Crosby. 

    “YUH DAVY” said Micky. “Come on now, Peter,” - he grabbed Peter’s hand -” we gotta advance the plot.”

    “But I’m Stephen.”     Micky looked at him with such an expression that expressed a deep amount of hatred for the author. “It doesn’t matter. You guys are the same person anyway.”

The other lads shrugged and took poor Peter Halsten Dorkelson who was too confuzzled and befuddled and bamboozled to be crying.

BEATLES SECTION - THE HALL OF PAPERWORK

    “This is so boring,, (-_-)” said Jawn Jennon. “I think George Harrison fell asleep.”     “L M A O i did rofl lol,” said Heorge Garrison.

    “I am surprised because there is so much paperwork lying about that all look so boring!!” said Paul McEyelash.

    “Someone should clean this up smh,” said Ringone Starone.

    “YAAWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!” they all sed at 1nce. That yawn pushed a stack of paper off a table, which caused a chain reaction, leading to a bucket falling down, a train being activated, a cow mooing and the members of Queen being awoken from their frozen-in-som-kind-a-tube state.

    “BRO WTF WHOMST WOKE US UP (((p(>o<)q)))” said Roger Taylor, stretching. “I was still having my beauty sleep.”

    “(O.O) omg (O.O)(O.O) oh mah gawd (O.O)(O.O)(O.O)” said Freddie Mercury. “Are those (O.O)(O.O)(O.O)(O.O) the legendary (O.O)(O.O)(O.O)(O.O)(O.O)(O.O)(O.O)(O.O) bug boys????????”

    “It was’t very challenging at all doe…” said Sand Children. “And for a story with out name in the title, we did not seem to get much attention at all.”

    “Shut up you’ll get your moment later,” said the others pointing down to the rest of the story. “See look at that.”     “None of this is very good,” said Mike Hate, a man with no taste.

    They all went into their respective vehicles and drove away.

    “WAIT!!!!!!” said Dave Jone of the Monkees, pausing the time. “We did not resolve the plot point of us actually kidnapping Steven Stills?????”

    “Help me,” said Stepe.

    “STFU IT’S OUR STORY (◣_◢)” said the beach of the boys, so infuriated with them that smoke came out of their ears like a boiling kettle and their eyes started glowing red which indicated anger.

    “Oh ok sorry lel, he’s British Lol,” said Mike Nesmith.

    “STFU Myke Gessmith.”

    “;~;” said Mike Nukesmith.

    “Y do u guys always have to take the spotlight?!” asked the Beaky Bubs.

    “Bc we’re the author’s favourites, unfortunately,” said Micky, shivering at the memories of what had happened to them before in previous crack fics.

    “Sux for u lmao.”

    Uh how to end dis. Boom. Story done lel.

Okay Guys! Normally I post art but tonight I am pretty tired and have no art motivation so hopefully that will come tomorrow! But for now, (Since Jack lit the fanbase on fire) I am going to throw my little theory out there! So here we go!

Here are a few things that I believe in my theory! (Doesn't mean you have too! This is just all in good fun!) 

-Chase IS Anti (Became Anti)

-Jack is not in a coma, but some sort of “mental sleep” to where he doesn't know what’s going on with Chase.

-Chase Is jealous of Jack’s fame and love

        Jack is an energetic Youtuber who is quickly gaining a following. Many people like him and the videos he produces, and in many ways, he’s above the average Youtuber. As Jack makes videos and tours the world, Chase Brody, one of Jack’s Friends tries to make videos like him as an escape from his hard marriage...but the content he makes is just average (Bro Average Vid) ...Chase Brody then builds a jealousy towards Jack and his ability to be so loved. He soon finds out his wife, Stacy, is leaving him and taking the kids with her. Chase is devastated and begins to find any way to be entertaining, at the same time, falling into a deep depression and alcoholism (even more so than before). This continues for a long time and Chase grows worse and worse as the time goes on. (All from Bro Average Video)

        Meanwhile, Dr. Shneeplestein just lost his first patient, Peter. Before being a solely physical and surgical doctor, he worked in rehab attempting to help Chase with his depression, giving him Antidepressants. But this didn’t help Chase much, but it kept him alive for a bit longer to go try and see his family.

After losing Peter, Jack decided to help out his friend Shneep emotionally, including him in some of his videos. Now...Chase is going very downhill, and at the end of his Bro Average video, he kills himself, leaving Jack and Shneep devastated. This leads to the begging of Anti...the spirit of Chase Brody.

”Jack, Jack!! This is Chase...you need to wake up..” (ending of stories untold 3)

Chase is full of jealously and revenge towards how loved Jack is, and how his wife never loved him. He was angry and isn’t able to just pass on...so he now watches like a hawk...wanting to find the next time Jack is weak. Which has happened a few times in the past (Say Goodbye, Bio Inc, etc)  Here are some signs that Jack is being possessed or trying to be: (Bio Inc) Jack grew very weary when anti took over, such as grow nauseous, go limp, and have his eyes twitch uncontrollably, and also heavy bleeding. Anti now possesses Jack, taking over his Nervous system, causing Shneep to grow paranoia about losing him...but, Jack isn’t dead.  **Anti has taken over saying “It’s all your fault, you made this happen, you could’ve stopped me but you just watched!” Which can refer to the watchers not helping him at all and giving Jack all the props.**

Anti also says- “you stopped paying attention , well I hope your happy. You’ve found someone new, threw me aside, someone to replace me” Which could refer to Stacy or even Jack for that matter.

Now this is getting very long so I will try to sum it up...Anti ends up staying in a state of endless vengeance and violence...wanting to get the love he wanted from Stacy years ago. But now...what happens next?? Is Shneep okay? What is going to happen to Jack? We will have to see!!

Ahh!! I hope you guys like this theory I made!! I know it might be a little rough but it’s my first time writing a theory and I’m not MatPat XD the gist is that Chase Brody is actually Anti after he dies. Anyway, keep being awesome!! And hopefully I have some art done tomorrow!!

AVENGERS INFINITY WAR SPOILERS

OKAY GUYS for reals DO NOT read this if you haven’t watched Infinity War. Thanos demands your silence (not that I CARE WHAT THAT MONSTER WANTS) but still! I’m warning you and I’m putting a read more so that you can only see the spoilers if you click on it. Just watch the movie, don’t look at spoilers.

I haven’t been able to think of anything else since watching that movie... I couldn’t sleep, I didn’t have an appetite, I... I’M RUINED!! AHHHHH and I need to watch it again. So let me just nerd out and freak out about things that hurt me and things I loved the MOST

1. I’m like 99% sure that it was Loki’s voice sending out the distress signal. So, start off the movie with crazy incredible feels.

2. LOKI’S FACE when Thanos is killing Thor D’: D’: TOM HIDDLESTON YOU ARE INCREDIBLE. I am amazed at how Loki starts out trying to just stare at Thanos but as Thor screams his eyes dart down to his brother and more and more pain enters his eyes and he starts breathing harder and his lip trembles until, “ALL RIGHT! STOP!” And then immediately after he just closes his eyes and lets out a deep breath of relief and also “Oh crap now I need to give him the tesseract to save my brother’s life and the whole galaxy is going to be destroyed.”

3. “The light will shine on us again” like HOLD ME WHILE I CRY OKAY. I REALLY wonder what Loki meant by that, what he did, what his whole plan was! I was thinking it could be possible that he did a little switcharoo and Thanos killed a fake version of himself? He didn’t have the reality stone at that time and Loki is the god of tricks! Also, Thor said that Thanos wiped out HALF his people - maybe by that he meant that half the people had already been destroyed? But it seems possible that some of them escaped, like Valkyrie and the like. We don’t really know what happened. Also - 

4. “We have a hulk.” DUDE BEST LINE OF THE MOVIE!? Like freakin Tony Star used this line against Loki in Avengers 1 and now Loki uses it against Thanos - talk about amazing character development!! 

5. The Hulk/Thanos battle had seriously epic music and it was awesome so long as Hulk was kicking Thanos’s trash. Also Loki disappeared after this moment for a while - maybe he did some of his Loki tricks where he leaves a fake Loki behind when he knows it’s likely he’ll die - maybe to draw Thanos’s attention away from Thor or something? - and disappeared? I just REFUSE to accept that after EVERYTHING Loki DIED just by being THROWN AWAY like that!!!

6. Loki sacrificing himself to try to kill Thanos and calling himself ODINSON, and Thor’s look of pure horror when he realizes what Loki is about to try to do D:

7. Thor SCREAMING when he watches his brother get MURDERED IN FRONT OF HIM and then crawling over to him and throwing himself over his dead bro’s body while the ship explodes as he whimpers Loki’s name D:

8. Bruce Banner crashing into Stephen Strange’s sanctum place and the pure terror on his face as he explains what’s going on - that there’s this crazy genocidal alien maniac named Thanos that was strong enough to kill THOR, also it’s really cute how he seemed pretty shaken up and upset about Thor having died.

9. Bruce saying that Thanos sent Loki to destroy Earth FINALLY VALIDATION LOKI ISN’T COMPLETELY INNOCENT FOR THAT BUT IT ALSO WASN’T COMPLETELY HIS FAULT EITHER

10. Tony and Pepper got MARRIED awww and talking about how he had a dream they had a kid and it was so real but it was so real not because you were going to have a son the two of you but because PETER PARKER IS YOUR SON!!! Confirmed.

11. Tony’s “Earth is closed.” And his new suit tho!! Talk about a BA

12. The whole Thor crash-landing onto the Guardians of the Galaxy ship was golden. ALSO, why haven’t I seen anyone talk about how GAMORA WAS SO CUTE AND SHE WAS SINGING AND DANCING TO PETER’S MUSIC WHILE THEY WERE FLYING I ALMOST DIED IT WAS SO ADORABLE

13. Peter’s masculinity contest with Thor xD And Thor deciding that Rocket is the captain. And how much Rocket loves Thor!!

14. “Thank you, sweet rabbit.”

15. Rocket and Thor’s conversation JUST KILL ME NOW. Thor doesn’t even care if he dies anymore because he doesn’t have anything else to lose.

16. When Vision and Wanda were about to get wreckt and Captain America APPEARS LIKE A BOSS and kills it alongside Sam and Natasha

17. When the Wakanda theme starting playing and everyone started cheering!

18. T’challa was leading Wakanda to battle and they were doing their whole chants “IBOMBE!” or however you spell that

19. When Peter and Gamora have their conversation and have the most beautiful kiss D: And then freakin Drax shows up and ruins it with comedy gold!!!

20. When Thanos has Gamora and she reminds Peter of his promise to kill her... and Peter’s heartbroken, “I told you to go right.” THIS TEARS ME UP INSIDE because at this point Peter feels so so so so helpless and the only thing he can think again and again in his head is, if they would’ve listened to him (like they never do) maybe things would’ve been different, and Gamora wouldn’t be in Thanos’s hands, and Peter wouldn’t have to kill her D: “I told you to go right...”

21. The Guardians of the Galaxy meet up with Team Iron Man, and the profound question: “Why is Gamora?”

22. “Oh come on you big green asshole!”

23. Thor took Groot language as an elective!

24. Gamora’s death... just... just... WHY?! Once all this mess is fixed and Gamora’s still dead, how is Peter going to cope!? What’s going to happen in the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie?? Gamora was his moral compass, his new reason for happiness, his purpose for existence - HOW WILL HE GET OVER THAT?! 

25. When Thor APPEARED IN THE BATTLE FIELD YEAHHHHHHHH you can bet that I cheered like a maniac when he came - MOST EPIC MOVIE IN HISTORY.

26. Bruce’s “Yeah you guys are so screwed now!!” when Thor arrives

27. The Bucky/Rocket spinny team up

28. Wanda was a BOSS in this movie! Girl power y’all!

29. The epic three-woman team up against that freak from the Black Order!! That was LEGENDARY and just what I needed.

30. When Dr. Strange saw however many MILLIONS of different outcomes he had to see in order for them to have a chance of survival! And now everything that’s happening is on the particular timeline where they succeed but in order for that to happen he had to let Thanos win and everyone to die!

31. When Wanda had to kill Vision herself to keep Thanos from getting the mind stone D:

32. When Peter Quill pieces together that Thanos killed Gamora and his HEART-WRENCHING REACTION and Chris Pratt’s A+ reaction. even though I was mad because it ended up causing them to lose and everything... apparently that’s the only scenario where they succeeded, according to Dr. Strange. So... it works. 

33. when everyone starts disappearing... and everyone’s reactions are so heartbreaking and beautiful and tore out my heart...

34. Cap’s reaction was so amazing. Like he doesn’t really react much right when Bucky disappears because he’s confused and doesn’t quite know totally what’s going on but then he sees Vision’s mind stone gone and realizes what happened and all he can say is “Oh God.” SO POWERFUL

35. AND DON’T GET ME STARTED ON PETER PARKER’S DEATHHH

Okay this has been going on for too long so I’m going to leave it there but

1) Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Both! I love mornings something fierce and I try to wake up early a couple days a week to appreciate them. But I also love staying up late, especially when my family is visiting. We’ll usually stay up till 2 or 3 in the morning just sitting together on our computers and it’s a lovely time~

2) What is your OTP (and you can only pick 1!) and why?

Hartwin. Mainly because I can’t seem to let them go. I usually don’t stick with an OTP for very long, or I’ll abandon it when I move onto another fandom, but that has not been the case with Hartwin. So they kind of win by default XD

3) What is your favorite thing about Colin Firth?

I’m gonna go with his acting ability and range. I’ve watched a lot of his movies and gotten to see quite a few things I wouldn’t have otherwise looked into had he not been in them. Valmont and Apartment Zero for example.

4) What’s your favorite book and how would you recommend it to someone who’s never heard of it?

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. It’s not a conventional book in that there a lot of chatlogs, diagrams, pictures, and other neat formatting so that you’re not just reading word after word on a page. The story itself is incredibly engaging. Space battles! Battles in space! Who doesn’t like space battles?

Also there isn’t a love triangle.

5) Where is your favorite place to read?

My living room floor. It’s not particularly comfortable, but there’s a lot of it and I can move around without getting in anyone’s way.

6) What was your last impulse buy?

Uhhh... I don’t impulse buy things a lot tbh. I rented John Wick on Amazon if that counts?

7) What is/was your favorite subject in school?

English! Which probably surprises no one lol

8) Are you an introvert or extrovert?

Definitely an introvert. I don’t have an extroverted bone in my body.

9) Do you have any trips/vacations planned this year?

Not this year, but next summer I’m going to Ireland and I’m super excited about that. I’m half Irish and it will be my first time out the U.S!

10) What would you do if you saw Colin Firth walking on the other side of the street from you?

Probably nothing tbh. Maybe like nod at him or give him a thumbs up or something. I’ve never really wanted to meet celebrities.

11) I probably know you because we’re both into Kingsman, so when did you first watch Kingsman and what drew you to it?

I first watched Kingsman in August of 2015. Honestly, I was pretty repelled by it cause I don’t like spy films and nothing about the trailer drew me in but my bro kinda forced me to watch it. XD

I stuck with it because of the fandom.

Ahahaha I ship Peter Bernadone from Hannibal and Kit Walker from American Horror Story Asylum and I’m pretty sure me and @freebirdmassacre are the only ones so I’d say it’s pretty rare

I do indeed. Mostly dill, but I’ll eat bread and butter pickles on hamburgers and such.

10. Do you sleep with a stuffed animal? Just to make you feel better I do, I sleep with the bear my husband bought me when my Dad passed away.

I don’t but only because I sleep with about 7 pillows. I have a stuffed animal in my closet, though, always ready to be grabbed should I need it.

11.  Do you like doing crafty hobbies like sewing, knitting, metal working, or do you enjoy hobbies that involve collecting?

Between the two of them I’d say crafty hobbies, but I’m not really into either.

Well, I’m glad my brain’s latest gutter dive proved helpful.  XD  And I haven’t been outside recently, but we had some storms roll through, so hopefully that helps clear out some of the humidity.  Luckily the main floor wasn’t too bad, it was just the warehouse and office that felt like walking into a sauna.

And I can totally see Chris having the patience to get really good at that, especially since he knows the rewards will be more than worth it.  Bonus points if they ever tried pulling that while Skyping with one (or more) of the kids after they’ve left for college.  Even more if they also have to try and make up a convincing lie about where the…occupied…parent is during the call without giving it away.  I can see them pulling that stunt with regular phone calls, too, but video calls are more fun because they have to control their facial expressions as well as their tone of voice and breathing.

Omg, yes, that headcanon is so cute.  Maybe it’s Spring Break for the college kids, but Ben’s is a different week so he’s still in class, and Noah’s on shift and Chris has a meeting with a client, so Peter volunteers to stay with the kids (as though he’d pass up any chance to spend time with his children), and he’s just sitting there listening them talk about their classes and the people they’ve met and the places near their schools they want to visit and just, like, basking in the peace and having the opportunity to even do this without having to worry or be on guard.

Totally here for Malia and Allison taking down toxic bros, too.  They’ll wander around the frat houses and parties keeping an eye out for skeevy dudes, then after they take one down they’ll post a pic to a special Insta and tag the dude’s frat to “come collect your trash”.  Their brothers totally join in, as well as any other pack members nearby.  All the dads are so proud of them.

And now I really want a scene where dinner one night is like super vegetable heavy (like ratatouille, or some sort of pasta primavera, or veggie stir-fry or something), and everyone is just endlessly amused and charmed by Peter and Twin A’s identical expressions of “Ew…” and “Yuck…” throughout dinner (someone totally sneaks a few shots for the Christmas card).  Or maybe they made this one recipe I saw that was supposed to be country fried steak, but made with thick slices of cauliflower instead of meat, because if you add the right spices, fried anything tends to just smell fried.  Can you imagine the identical looks of betrayal and confusion and horror when they bit into one?  Like, the wide-eyed, slack-jawed shock at the sheer, unmitigated gall being displayed by whoever cooked the meal.  (Maybe it’s April 1st, maybe they saw the recipe video and just couldn’t help themselves.)

Bonus cute/sweet thought brought to you by the most recent playlist I put together on Spotify:  It’s maybe 7 or 8 months after the youngest twins are born.  Peter gets home after an unexpectedly long day, and goes to put his stuff in his home office, only to find Ben in there taking a nap on the couch where he’d obviously been working on homework (he likes to use one of his dads’ offices because they’re quiet and free of distractions, but also smell like comfort and them).  He gently covers him with one of the blankets he keeps for such occasions, and heads off in search of his husbands.  He finds them in the kitchen, swaying together softly to The Association’s “Never My Love” (seriously SUCH a good song for those three), while something bubbles fragrantly in a crock pot.  The twins are in a playpen nearby, cuddled together, gnawing absentmindedly at the Star Wars plushies Stiles had gotten them.  He runs a careful possessive hand over each one’s head, stroking his fingers along their cheeks, scenting them and comforting them all a once.  Finally he wanders over and steps up behind Chris, where he’s nestled in Noah’s embrace, and just wraps his arms around both of them as best he can, all of them shuffling slowly to the music, in easy, perfect sync.  And just, yeah.

Hope you managed some decent rest and are feeling better today, and that work is far less terrible!

Truth be told I’m mostly just posting this as is since I already took my sleeping pills. But most of these headcanons are so cute and awesome that I think everyone should see them. They definitely made me smile!
