What I adore about Logan in every timeline, in every universe is how much of a pack animal he is.

We see this in Xmen where he immediately bonds with Rogue and becomes protective of her.

We see this in the subsequent Xmen movies where he protects the kids, builds a bond with the other Xmen, and fights for them.

We sees this in the comics where he not only pack bonds with the xmen but also with Laura, Gabby, and even Akihiro. Where he adopts jubilee, and kitty.

We see this in Xmen evolution where he adopts the young xmen and becomes a mentor figure for them.

And we see this in deadpool and wolverine, where he pack bonds immediately to the one person who talks to him without fearing him. He's known Wade for less than a day before he's ready to throw hands with, and for him.

Logan is a pack animal. He's a friend, a dad, a partner, he bonds hard and he bonds fast.

And he tries to deny it in every universe. He fights people and tries to keep them away from him to protect them from him and his past.

But God that man can't help but seek people out. He needs someone around him. Even if he doesn't want to. Especially then.

And then he finally finds people that can stay with him for eternity. (Wade & Laura). He finally finds his eternal family in Deadpool and Wolverine. He finally finds his pack.

What I love about Hellboy and Abe Sapien's dynamic in the comics is that, if you came into this blind, you'd expect Abe to be the voice of reason or the straight man to Hellboy's impulsive and hotheaded personality. But no, Abe is more often than not the crazy one. Hellboy would deal with fighting evil monsters and bad guys by just sighing and getting it over with, while Abe is going rabid over tearing the creature apart when he does get into a fight. Hellboy acts like it's a 9-to-5 job and will reasonably talk things out with a guy that had nearly killed him before, Abe acts like a madman in a slaughter house and his first instinct is to shoot first kill second and ask third. They're both insane, but on completely different levels.

Here's my two cents as someone who is part of, and works with the community.

NTA.

If someone is triggered by your art, that is not your fault.

What likely happened is that you ran into someone who either feels very dysphoric about their own body and gets very uncomfortable/ or even triggered when seeing pre- op bodies. Or you ran into someone who believes pre-op bodies do not belong in the transmasc spaces/tags.

And that last one, is just not true.

Trans bodies whether they are masc, fem, or neither come in all shapes and all of them belong in the trans tags and trans spaces.

The only thing you can do in the future is to tag your art pre-op or post-op. Other than that, there's nothing you could have done better here.

You are allowed, and should be encouraged, to post your work in the trans masc tag if your OCs are trans masc.

You are allowed to make art of your own experiences.

There's nothing wrong with either of these things, and you are NTA for doing them.

Triggering someone's dysphoria on accident, does not make you an asshole.

AITA for accidentally triggering someone's dysphoria? (Discussion of FTM dysphoria, anatomy, all that stuff, basically. Just in case).

I (23M) am an artist (I guess, I just can draw lol), and principally draw my OCs. A lot of my OCs are transmasc, as I myself am, and sometimes tag drawings of them with the "transmasc" tag. One of these was a drawing that featured a certain character naked. He has long hair, and is pre-OP in everything (most actually never-OP because he's a shapeshifter and can have any body parts at will, so he did choose to have a not-flat chest and a vagina yet is still a guy. That's partly me projecting I'm fine with my genitals [not really my chest], and partly just wanting to show transmasc people are diverse and regardless of what they do or don't do with their bodies they're still men, in case anyone wonders why. I have many guys with many different presentations).

The next day I get a DM from someone basically saying that it is really inconsiderate and rude of me to tag as "transmasc" a character that could easily pass off as a girl in another circumstance and that I ruined his night by triggering his dysphoria, and that I should just fuck off (paraphrasing). I couldn't reply anything because he blocked me. I mean, at least he will not see my art anymore, but was I in the wrong? I didn't meant to trigger his or anyone's dysphoria, that's the least thing I want to do. Should I just stop tagging my transmasc OCs with that tag, at least the ones who clearly don't "pass"? I'm okay if I end up being voted as the asshole, and see what I can do (most probably not tagging them with the trans tag anymore), as I don't want to make other trans people's life harder than it can already be.

One of the hills I will die on; Logan and Wade are autism & ADHD coded and a classic example of neurodivergent friends finding each other.

(Also Logan is Bisexual and Wade is Pansexual. And I will not be accepting criticism on that one.)

The more I watch tua, the more I grow to love Lila Pitts with all my heart. Literally carrying a whole lot of mommy issues, being impulsive as ever, trying to prove that she can fend for herself, pushing the people away that truly care about her while also craving a certain closeness.. (she's just like me fr)

Her incomprehensible but also deeply relatable character makes her my absolute favourite <3
