I don't care if his partner was a "he" or "she". That's the least I'm concerned about.

First of all I would make him/her a Grisha and a near-immortal one (for the obvious reasons). Parents? No. (I don't know about you guys but parents are either none existent in this world or bring a lot of trouble) He/she would be a person that both sees the big picture and, at the same time, takes into consideration the lives of the Grisha that endanger themselves for Aleksander's cause. A compassionate person that shows understanding for what Aleksander has been through, is there for him, is a good listener, encourages him but won't hesitate to say "hey what you're about to do is dangerous/madness" whenever is necessary. His partner would make him feel at home at his/her arms and possess wisdom to help him in his war.

Aleksander is a character that really needs to get in touch with his humanity again because I don't think he has entirely lost it. He buried it a looong time ago, getting rid of it as a weakness to dedicate himself to his fight but he really needs it back and that person that I would create for him would help him in that. Although I believe that Aleksander wouldn't be too willing to regain it.

Oh! And that person would try to break his mother's influence on him, try to make him understand that Baghra, just because she's his mother, doesn't mean that she's a good person or has the best intentions. That would take decades though because it would be very hard for Aleksander to leave her behind.

Overall, a person that wants what's best for him, is kind to him, understanding and reasonable. Someone he can lean on for support, love and advice and when he/she tells him off, he/she does it out of care and not to gaslight him *I see you Baghra😒*
