I don't even have an ipad, but I know how amazing Procreate is. It was just announced they're making a full affordable animation program with a one time purchase of $20 and no subscription cost like holy shit????

Saying that the gpda should go care about something important, as if they aren't - for the first time in DECADES - taking a definite stand against the sports governing body publicly for all to see, is something.

This goes beyond the jewellery, the underwear, or even the swearing. And their issue about being told not to wear jewellery and bring told what underwear is more about the fact that they were told by the media, rather than by the governing bodies themselves directly in a meeting where the drivers could share their perspectives.

They publicly called out the FIA President for his hypocrisy and for how he has spoken about the drivers both to their face and behind their backs.

Most importantly, they have publicly expressed their feelings about monetary fines, publicly stated that they have no idea what the FIA does with the money they receive from fining drivers, and called them out for it. There is zero transparency from the FIA in an issue we now know has been raised since at least 2021. What is the FIA hiding? Because there is no reason why the drivers should not be allowed to see where that money goes, or at least no legitimate reason.

Thoughts on the new investigations official art as I suddenly realised I had some (also I really like it! I actually think it's one of the best of the big AA group portraits and clearly a lot of thought went into where each character is in relation to their role in the plot and to each other.)

This is one of my fave official gumshoe images of all time. Up there with giving pearl a piggyback and fishing with Maggey. Look at them. I love them. Gumshoe and his lil puppy. Also a real cute missile. But also this is Edgeworth's game and Gumshoe is Edgeworth's friend (one of Edgeworth's closest friends - and we get to see the origins of that in aai) so it fits that we get to see the loveable gumshoe that Edgeworth sees here, right behind him, with his dog. It's adorable.

AHH my faves. First of all I just love seeing Shih-na looking very cool and mysterious whereas Lang looks cool at first glance and then you look closer and realise that his pose is actually really stupid. It's very them. And they are obviously next to each other as always - Lang in front but pushed out to the side, whereas Shih-na is behind him and slightly hidden but she's actually closer to the centre which is a nice little metaphor for their positions in the plot. She's also next to Kay which is a clever nod to what we learn in aai.

(Also maggey and lotta in the background are cute too).

No notes really just nice to see new art of team Interpol.

Okay so this is the bit I really do have thoughts on because positioning! Obviously Miles in the middle, it's his game after all. But having Gregworth and MVK in the background is just a fun choice - after all, they are literally his background! They are facing away from each other, going in opposite ways and Miles is in-between them! Just a nice bit of visual metaphor considering how much a theme of the games is his background and upbringing, and how Miles has to choose between these two opposing influences in his life and find a path between them (and both appear more in the investigations games then they do anywhere else so their size and influence is really significant here).

And finally, Fran! Only her 13 year old design is on this poster, despite the fact that she actually appears as an adult in the game more but that makes sense, this is advertising and this is a unique design for aai. But I like how she's also in the background, she's a figure from Edgeworth's past, but in a much more active pose than MVK or Gregworth are - she remains an active player in his story, unlike them. Also she's placed next to Edgeworth and MVK, which makes sense considering their relationship.

Also I genuinely do just like this design for Fran - I think one place where aai really works is its character designs which are almost universally really well done and nice to look at visually. I like that she's a horse girl and you can tell. I like that it references her trilogy outfit but with a far less adult silhouette. It's just good.

Ok for real though? First Nightmare, obviously. This man is my muse, my little scrunckly, my beloathed motherfucker, I am in constant torment over him and I will never be free

Specifically thought I really do love art and fics that do deep dives into Nightmares character and motivations. I find his psychology incredibly interesting, and with so many different ways to take his development (especially in relation to his character intersecting with Dream and the Gangs characters,) he ends up being really versatile in how he’s written.

And since I just mentioned them I will say I’m also a huge fan of Dream and the other Bad Sanses. They’re all a bit different for me in the sense I can enjoy their characters in a shallower, more fun way without having to constantly break down every level of their psychology (though I still do that plenty, just not literally all the time like with a certain someone.)

Like, I just love seeing these guys do stupid shit. The classic “comic in which the Gang does something incredibly stupid/insane while Nightmare looks on exasperated” will never not be a hit for me. Banger formula we’ve hit as a fandom

One more character I actually really really love is Reaper. I’d actually say he’s my second fav after Nightmare, and I legitimately think he’s so underrated. He’s SO interesting and it’s criminal how little he gets explored outside of shipping and just being in the background. Don’t get me wrong I love my ships more than anyone, but like- can we please stop making him so one dimensional in every paring he’s in. Please I beg. So that all being said literally anytime something is about Reaper and is even slightly deep I will lose my mind.

So anyway this was supposed to be like a paragraph max but here we are so uhhh, enjoy the essay anon o7

I think I write the same post every year, so if you've seen this film before you can skip it. Another elucien week come and gone, and I know I speak for both myself and @the-lonelybarricade that this is genuinely our favorite event week of the year. Every year the community gets bigger, which means we have even more fun than the previous year.

It's always so wonderful to watch the way people come together to create, talk, and generally have a nice time. I feel so overwhelmed by how wonderful this space is. The way people donate mass amounts of their time, talent, and creativity is truly unmatched. That's not even mentioning how welcoming and open folks are- I feel like I always meet new eluciens participating for the first time right alongside people who have been here for years. Some of these friendships will outlast the fandom- there's something special about that.

Anyway. I wish I had something better to convey how grateful I am to everyone who participated, even if your participation was simply liking/reblogging/leaving comments. If we were together, I would absolutely throw a low-budget pizza party in lieu of raises and a good benefits package.

below are Triglycercule's Tips And Tricks for beating the puzzles and such :3 WARNING FOR SPOILERS OF COURSE HEHEHE

ways to avoid certain death:

DONT say you'd fight for your life when goner kid asks

DONT take the river person's boat

CLOSE the door flap right before you go through the bushes

AVOID ending up with the temmies

DO NOT talk to sans/horror (even though its tempting... i know i know)

DO NOT open the water valve until the color puzzle is solved

(there might be more but i can't remember as of now, feel free to add on and i'll add them!)

the two puzzles i personally struggled with the most were the bushes and the colors. for the bushes i assume you have to follow what the echo flowers and this map says

BUT PERSONALLY? i just figured out the way to the bushes by guessing. the pattern is LEFT RIGHT LEFT (and then you'll get to monster kid and be able to get sans's bone!) (if not you end up with the temmies and,,,,, aliza dies D:)

FOR THE COLOR PUZZLE you have to use the word searches given to you below:

the way you use these word searches to solve the color puzzle is to solve them and then the letters NOT used in the answers are the solutions! i solved them already so here they are

the order is BLUE RED GREEN!! input that into the water valve below sans that you unlock after returning the bone from monster kid to him and.........

YIPPEE!!! ALIZA ESCAPED!!!! i hope this was helpful :3 i am very lazy. i dont know how i had the time and patience to do this on my own. for those out there who are ALSO very lazy: this is for you. if i missed anything again feel free to let me know and i'll add it!
