So I found this detailed in Transformers One that I don’t think anyone has noticed yet.
D-16 released his own grip on the train so he could catch Orion to break his fall.

Remus insists he’s not romantic but Sirius disagrees, especially when Remus spends hours making Sirius a mixtape labeled “for when your brain won’t shut up.”

Management - May 15 - word count: 530 - @wolfstarmicrofic
“Ma’am,” Remus sighed. “I’m afraid I cannot get you management.”
“Why the hell not?” the middle-aged woman shrieked. “I want to see your manager, young man.”
Jesus, Remus really hated his job. Whoever made him get a job in the service industry should go die in a hole.
Actually, that would involve Sirius dying, so nevermind.
“Ma’am, you can’t see my boss just because your coupon has expired and it won’t scan.“
“Oh, you-” she stomped on the ground like a kid having a meltdown. “Stop being impertinent.”
Did Remus mention he hated his job?
“Ma’am, I guarantee that it won’t scan even if management comes and does it.”
“I don’t care. Bring me your manager.”
“If you say so,” Remus shrugged, fed up with her bullshit. He left the register, heading to the employee break room, and pulled out his phone.
Hey, he texted Sirius. Some lady wants to see my manager, and since you’re the CEO or something of Black Enterprises, that should work, right?
omw, was Sirius’s reply. 5, stall her.
Remus headed out of the room, satisfied.
“Where is your manager?” the woman yelled. Remus thought he’d burst an eardrum for a second, but he managed not to deck the lady.
“He’s on his way, ma’am. He says five minutes.”
“Well, make him hurry up!” she stomped petulantly. “I have places to be!”
“I’m afraid I can’t do that, ma’am.”
The Karen huffed, pulling at her phone and poking aggressively at the screen.
And then, the door burst open.
Sirius, in all of his wind-tousled glory, stepped into the store.
“Is there a problem here, ma’am?” he asked politely.
“Why yes,” she sniffed. “Your ungrateful employee won’t let me use my coupon.”
Sirius raised an eyebrow. “Oh? Well, let me try, then.”
As expected, the coupon wouldn’t go through.
“Oh, I’m sorry, miss,” Sirius clucked his tongue in mock-sympathy. “You’re going to have to pay in full. The coupon has expired.”
“Oh you-” The woman was getting redder in the face by the minute. “I want to see your manager.”
Remus felt the way Sirius’s face lit up before his boyfriend (and temporary boss) started grinning.
“But you see, miss,” he said, saccharine sweet. “I’m the CEO of Black Enterprises.”
“No you aren’t,” she scoffed, though she looked at him doubtfully.
“Go ahead, Google me. Sirius Orion Black III, son of Orion Arcturus Black, brother of Regulus Black. I know you can see who I am.” He smiled smugly.
“I- er,” the woman said, obviously at a loss for words. “I guess- I’ll just pay in full, then?”
“Good choice.”
She left, quivering so hard that it seemed as if she would faceplant on the asphalt outside.
“God, why the fuck did I agree to this bet?” Remus groaned, running a hand over his face.
“Because you love me, and you also hate losing,” Sirius grinned.
“Well, it’s your fault that I’m here in the first place.”
“Nuh uh.”
“Wha- you can’t just ‘nuh uh’ me, sweetheart!” Remus spluttered. “You’re acting like a five year old.”
“Yeah, a five year old who’s your boss.”
“Go away.”
“Fine, but I’m winning the bet.”
“In your dreams, loverboy.”

"But it's not canon that Sirius was abused by his parents—" Let me stop you right there because I don’t know what your definition of child abuse is, but this definitely qualifies as abuse.
Sirius talking to Harry about Regulus and how he was constantly reminded that Regulus was a better son than him:
Tumblr media
Walburga's portrait yelling terrible things at Sirius. If she's saying these things to him while dead, I can't imagine what she said while alive:
Tumblr media
Kreacher (who hated Sirius since he was a kid because he was "hard work" for his Mistress) repeating things Walburga used to say to Sirius:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We also have this official article from Pottermore where they compare Harry and Sirius, confirming that Sirius had a miserable childhood and was hated by his mother:
Tumblr media
And of course, the fact that he had to run away from that house at 16 and was disinherited (which is also child abuse). The mere fact that Sirius said he hated the lot of them and that being back at Grimmauld Place was something he never thought he would do—and that he hated it—is enough to understand the situation.

dreamless sleep - @wolfstarmicrofic - word count: 175
Sirius Black didn't know what it was like to sleep without nightmares until he was sixteen.
Until, late one night in their fifth year, he and Remus both fell asleep on the couch, too tired from the essay they'd been writing to move upstairs.
It was a mistake. Neither of them had meant to. And yet, when Sirius awoke so early the next morning that the greyish-blue light of dawn still shone through the windows, he was confused.
He was not on his bed.
Instead, he was laying on a firm, warm chest, inhaling the scent of chocolate and spices and safety. Enveloped in the feeling of something distinctly calm.
Remus's arms were around him.
Hardly daring to move, Sirius only sank deeper into the heavy weight of the arms, relishing in the feeling of being so protected and loved.
It was the first time ever he'd experienced a dreamless sleep.
Closing his eyes, Sirius chose to stay where he was. He would worry about what he was feeling later. For now, he was warm.

Was Walburga Black a bad person?
I have so much more to say than I did about Lyall Lupin
One of the main themes in Harry Potter is the power of a mother's love which is why I always found it so odd that Walburga is portrayed so poorly. It is so easy to look at Sirius and think that Walburga was evil, or that she had no love for her children. I mean, look at how she treated her son. Personally, my feelings toward her, like most characters, is very complicated.
Walburga was the eldest in her generation of (first) cousins. Walburga got married (to her second cousin Orion Black) to fulfill her family duty. Walburga loved her family and the honor that came with it. She was willing to do what she had to make them proud. Her duty to her family after she got married shifted into producing a son so that she and Orion could raise the heir. When Sirius Black was born, Walburga was 35, which is rather old considering that Druella had Bellatrix when she was only 19 or 20.
There is absolutely no doubt in anyone's mind that Walburga was a blood purist. Even after her death, her portrait continued shouting insults at people she believed to be less than her. Sirius tells Harry in OotP that Orion and Walburga were not Death Eaters, but that they did agree with their beliefs. I think that they used their connections to help the Death Eaters but never participated in anything they did outright.
Orion's job is not disclosed, but it is said that he was very influential. I believe that he worked for the ministry in some political capacity. The Blacks are an old-fashioned family, which means that Orion Black was the head of the household and hence held all of the power. A headcanon that I think makes a lot of sense because of this is that Orion was abusive towards Walburga.
Walburga in't stupid she knows that her father would never forgive her if she left Orion. It would also bring too much shame on their perfect family if she did, specially since she picked her husband. I think this is why it took them so long to have children.
Walburga was afraid for her children. She was afraid for her image and she was watching Bellatrix walk into the same life as the one she has. Walburga removed any feeling she had for Sirius, she didn't want to be worried about him but she couldn't do that for Regulus. Regulus was different because Regulus wasn't the heir, she could protect Regulus.
Sirius was a rambunctious child and he didn't know how to keep his head down. Walburga resented the fact that he didn't know how to keep his mouth shut or act properly because Orion would punish Walburga for his wrongdoing. Walburga found small joys in Regulus, her perfect baby, while trying her best to keep Sirius out of his father's eye.
Orion was not involved with his children, especially Sirius, but he did notice when a child would cry or a relic was broken. He always blamed Walburga first, the kids second. He was cruel, and he knew that it would get him what he wanted. Eventually, Walburga started to abuse her children, especially Sirius, in the hopes that it would teach them to perform better.
Eventually, Sirius was no longer able to meet the expectations of his family, and he was disowned. He was disowned not by Walburga, but by Orion, the one who had the authority to do so. Walburga also faced the consequences of Sirius's beliefs and decisions, Orion blamed her for Sirius's failing, telling her that she was she was the one who raised him.
After Sirius was gone, it was Regulus's responsibility to take his place as the heir. Walburga had not desensitized herself to him, in fact, she was doing everythingin her power to protect Regulus. Orion was much harder on Regulus than he had been on Sirius. He had to be, Regulus was all that was left for him to be proud of. Everything Orion said and did to Regulus filled Walburga with rage. She waited for her chance to attack until one day, she did. In Regulus's seventh year at Hogwarts Walburga killed Orion Black.
Walburga never saw either of her sons again. No knew ever knew what she had done to her husband and she died alone and afraid for her son.
Shout out @shushbruv thank you for taking interest in my Walburga Black characterization ♡
Let me know what you all think of Walburga : )

regulus black x original muggle character {enemies to lovers}
Tumblr media
Regulus Black x original female character (muggle)
Inspired by WizardGod's 'dirty old town' on ao3 (and honestly, Pride and Prejudice)
This is an unfinished, ongoing fic! I update consistently every weekend and there are currently 29 chapters.
Read here on ao3 or wattpad (note: I have just recently posted to Wattpad and I'm slowly adding chapters. All current chapters are on ao3)
Summary:
Flora, the muggle half-sister of protective older brother Remus Lupin, is hidden away during the First Wizarding War for fear of werewolf attacks. It seems things cannot possibly get worse until Regulus Black, who has deviated from the fold of Death Eaters, also needs somewhere to hide.
Forced together by circumstance, their relationship is rocky from the start, but Flora won't be daunted by Regulus' arrogance and unpleasant airs. As they both slowly overcome their dislike of one another, mutual respect and understanding begin to grow, and their feelings start to shift from mere affection to something deeper and more profound.
Tumblr media
"Touch me again and see what happens, you filthy muggle," he said. His voice was full of venomous, unbridled hatred, but he spoke in an even tone. It was too calm and for a moment it scared Flora.
But Flora straightened up, refusing to let herself be frightened by this boy. Because really that's all he was. Just a boy.
"Or what?" She challenged.
His surprise was obvious as she stood her ground. He blinked a few times, looking at her as he considered his next move. Flora was not very tall, or at least compared to Regulus she was not tall, as he completely towered over her; he stared fixedly at her face, enraged by the sheer audacity of this muggle girl.
"Go on," she prompted when he still didn't answer. "Or what? You don't even have a wand."
"I don't need a wand," he spat back. "I don't need it to deal with a little girl like you." He wanted to say something to terrify her, to make her back down and respect him as the superior, but he couldn't find the words. Instead, he settled for glowering at her like a shadowy spectre. This still didn't appear to have the effect he'd hoped for. Flora clearly was not afraid, or was otherwise doing a very good job of hiding it.

Langlock - April 28 - word count: 99 - @wolfstarmicrofic
It had begun with nothing more than a whisper.
“Look at him,” Brent Clarke sneered. “He’s so weird. What’s up with his scars?”
“Dunno,” his friend said back. “But have you seen his cane? And he’s such a nerd, too- I’ve never seen him without a book.”
“Right? Oh, and did you hear? He’s dating Sirius Black now, I think.”
“No way. Black’s way out of his league. I bet he blackmailed him into doing it.”
Fed up, Sirius cast a wordless Langlock towards Clarke and his friend.
No one talked badly about Remus and got away with it.
