“In my time we all destroy ourselves and that doesn’t terrify me because I’m not born in your decade, I’m just a cell in someone’s body that hasn’t been revealed to the world. But now that I’m here I can help you guys and I will prove to everyone that we can choose our fate and we don’t need other people to let us decide who we are on the planet….. we make our own future.”
— Captain Phillip “Phil” Axel: American, born in the far future, in his time he thinks the world is always against him, but when he creates a time machine, he find the team and they show him not to be doubtful and they are the ones who show him the path of a bright future in the most healthy way possible, He becomes good friends with Chloe and Bart, because they both have the sense justice for not just life, but time they save and use, Phil Axel is my definition of Time.

When I was a kid, we moved into a house that had a huge lilac tree out front. It was mostly rotten, and it needed to be taken down before it fell. It took a while, but eventually, it was gone.
Mostly. A couple years later, little lilac babies popped out of the ground in its place. My mom was determined to get rid of them, because she'd planted a beautiful flower garden there, and the lilac trees would overshadow and kill the whole garden. I insisted on saving at least a few saplings. She said fine, but I had to dig them out and put them in pots myself.
So, I did. I spent days digging little lilac bushes out of the ground and putting them into pots. Some couldn't be saved, but some could. When all was said and done, I had five brand-new lilac saplings. Seven or eight years old, and it was my absolute pride and joy.
Three died due to sun scorching, severe drought that no amount of watering could save, and perhaps just being moved from their place in the ground. But two survived, and I was awfully proud of them! I'd go out and talk to them every single day. I watered them by hand and made sure they were fertilized properly. I learned all about their favored environments, and I was determined to make sure they lived.
One of my mom's friends saw what I was doing with the lilacs. She asked if she could have one to put in her backyard, and I agreed on the condition that she take very, very good care of it.
It's now fucking enormous. I'm talking ten feet tall and bursting with beautiful purple flowers every spring. My mom still gets updates each year as they start to bloom, which she forwards to me. And all I can think is, "That's my friend! Thriving some twenty years on, there it is."
The other tree nearly died, too. It lived in a pot for far, far too long. I wanted to plant it somewhere in my parents' yard, but my mom was reluctant. Eventually, we agreed to put it in the far back garden. It grew okay for many years, despite the shade, but in all these years, it's never bloomed.
Last year, the massive tree casting massive shadows over the lilac and the garden cracked in half and fell. It tumbled into the garden, crushing part of the nearby shed and destroying a few plants beneath it.
It missed my lilac by inches.
The clean-up is long done. The rest of the tree has been cut down, and my lilac has full sunlight for the first time in fifteen years. It won't bloom this year, I know. But it's got new shoots up. It's taller than ever. I spent half an hour a few weeks ago praising it for surviving all this time, dreaming about its future and telling it how I believe it'll become the tall beauty it's always been meant to be.
I think next year, I'll see flowers.

I've never been explicit about this because I'm a Fandom Old, and back in the day it was simply understood that anything on the Internet was fair game to do with what you wish, but: if you see a story of mine out there and you like it, download it. Fuck if I care. Keep it for yourself, distribute it to friends, print copies for yourself and your friends, mail it to people, I don't give a shit. As long as you're not exchanging money, I couldn't care less. And tbh you should be doing this with all fanfics you love - print them, save them, put them on a flash drive or a hard drive or share them with friends, whatever. Fanfic authors these days are really fucking precious about their fics, but honestly we're probably going to start seeing queer art being disappeared (especially in the US under the next president) so do whatever you can to archive the things you love to read. Even if that means just printing them out and sticking them in a binder for yourself to read as a bedtime story.

Marius de Romanus/ Original character
Marius in his mortal life, Rome, and Gaius his first and dearest friend, his first great love.
🍃Summary: Marius is the son, born of the union between a Celtic slave and a Roman patrician. Despite this, he is the favourite son of his father Livius. Livius' family welcomes Marius as if he had been born from the womb of his stepmother Flaviana. His beauty and his being a cheerful, calm child immediately makes him loved and liked by the whole family. As Marius grows up, he begins to venture alongside his father in his daily chores in the Urbe. Thus he meets Gaius for the first time. That meeting will mark the destiny of both of them
CHAPTER 3
-PUDDLE OF MUD-
- Rome, in the autumn before Marius and Gaius' 12th birthday
It was useless to try to hide, Marius knew this well. His father Livius, his meticulous and regal pater familias, was a good man, poised and serene. But he was also a man of fiery temper, especially when his eldest son gave him a hard time. Not that Livius was to be feared in manners, but in words and seriousness he was, and for Marius there was nothing more painful and humiliating than seeing the disappointment in the eyes of the father he loved so much. Livius, he did not need to raise his voice or his hands, this also because he knew that with Marius there was no need, his child was intelligent and understood why his father demanded certain behaviour from him. Marius adored Livius, there was no other example to which the little one aspired, not even the Emperor Augustus, was in his eyes comparable to the man who was his father. Just as Livius was aware of this, Marius in turn, even as a child, had learnt to recognise the motions of his father's soul. And so when his father set his mind to something, it was impossible to persuade him to give in; Livius had an iron will and cunning comparable to that of Ulysses. To Marius, foxes also reminded him of his father, and were one of the animals the little boy adored. Now, however, little Marius had other, more pressing troubles to deal with, and all of this had come from one of those furry and cunning little creatures. That is why Marius remained hidden behind the large columns of the atrium, overlooking the tablinum, where a sceptical Livius was talking to Flaviana, his stepmother. They faced each other, Livius tall and imposing, his arms allowed across his chest and a look between accusatory and amused, Flaviana delicate and elegant with her hair up, in a purple dress, her neck shining with gold jewellery and pearls, and her hands on her hips. 'Flaviana, please be reasonable, you are spoiling him. This is not behaviour befitting the eldest son of our family and you know it. I am raising him to be a man who is proud of himself and his origins, and who makes us proud too. He has intellect and heart, and cannot behave like a barbarian! Absolutely! He has a bright future ahead of him, he is good at everything he has tried to do, he is diligent and dedicated. I cannot allow them to question his behaviour, he must be diligent and zealous." Livius spoke with the cadence he always used when discussing important matters, standing before the senators. And his gestures reflected both the importance he gave to the subject and the cool, clear mind that took them in. His hand placed forward in a motion that accepted no objection, the other resting on his chest. In response Livius had Flaviana's fragrant, delightful laugh. "It's a child Livius! My beloved little god Mars! And you are exaggerating! He has done nothing barbaric! It is only a little mud, what is so undignified about it? Are you not so proud you men and soldiers to soil your shoes when you go to your wars? You will not scold Marius for this Livius!" And Flaviana in turn brought her hands forward, almost scratching the air like a panther, a pantherdefending her cub. Marius suddenly felt terribly guilty, he had already felt humiliated, but he knew that wounded pride was little compared to seeing the people he loved face each other. Marius could feel the mud sticking to his skin, his white children's robe reduced to a mixture of brown and grey, his blond hair was reduced to a mess of knots and grime, his skin was not only dirty but scratched in places. He had lost his sandals and his bare feet were covered in mud and dirt. He was a mess and he knew it, and he knew that Livius had already learned of the incident that had reduced his son to that state, but Marius did not know to what extent Livius knew the truth.
Or if that truth would serve to excuse him at least a little. Marius had begrudgingly admitted to himself that he had somehow emerged victorious from that war against the puddle that had swallowed him. Gaius's laughter still rang in his ears, but Marius did not feel angry with him, who was now there at his side to give him courage. When he had realised Marius was in trouble, Gaius had jumped into the quagmire to save him, obviously failing miserably. They were pulled out by good people who were frightened for them, and of course the word about what had happened spread quickly, because of their family names. Gaius cursed Marius' selflessness and good heart, only to sing his praises a moment later, when Marius used the last bit of cloth, which a good woman had given him to try and clean himself, to clean Gaius instead. All this had been caused by a fox cub that was drowning in that quagmire. Marius had noticed him and had immediately moved to save him. Seeing the half-barbaric son of a noble patrician and the illegitimate son of the emperor in a puddle of mud had triggered all sorts of rumours. Marius was aware that this would provoke Livius' outrage, but he hoped, knowing his father's heart, that he could remedy it. Meanwhile Flaviana's voice had become softer, Marius had completely lost the thread of their conversation, but he realised that Livius was listening to his wife, and that she was still talking about him and his accident. Gaius stroked his face and then an arm, offering him a smile, in his arms he held the fox cub, who had not wanted to be separated from them, and looked at them with his vibrant, cunning eyes. During this exchange Marius lost sight of his parents, and the moment he returned his eyes to the scene, he noticed the shadow above him. Livius' arms on his hips and serious gaze contemplated him from above. A mixture of disgust and amusement on his face, Flaviana behind him was smiling. Marius immediately lowered his gaze determined not to cry, then found his courage and looked at Livius, but to his surprise he found a sweet and gentle look. "Go on and get all this dirt off you, and take Gaius with you, gods forbid his father should see him in this condition. Please Marius next time you try to save someone use your brain not just your heart." Marius was stunned, but recovered quickly and looked at the fox in Gaius' arms. Livius followed his son's gaze and smiled, the little fox wagged his tail like a puppy dog when Marius stroked his head. Marius took his father's hand and guided it towards the fox, who cheerfully accepted Livius' caresses as well. "Pater?" "Yes, my little Mars?" "Can we keep her please?"
